The Father and His Family Part 7
Guest (Male): Feel the power. Welcome to Righteous Invasion of Truth with Dr. Abel Damina.
Dr. Abel Damina: Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Abel Damina is mining. I want to welcome you to this broadcast, a time of learning, a time of unlearning, and a time of relearning. The essence of this broadcast is to bring to you the revelation of Jesus Christ. The mandate of God on our ministry is the revelation of Jesus, reintroducing Jesus to this generation, equipping the believer to know who you are in Christ, what you have in Christ, and what Christ can do through you.
So get ready. Fasten your seatbelts today. We're going to adventure in the scriptures. The scriptures tell us in John 5:39, Jesus speaking to the Jews said, "You search the scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life, but they are they which testify of Me." The Bible is Christocentric. It's a message centered on the person of Jesus Christ.
So get ready today as we transverse through the pages of the scriptures, unveiling Christ so we can reveal your true identity in Christ. Because once you know who you are in Christ, then you will know what you have in Christ. And then you can be able to know what Christ can do through you. It gives you a life of fulfillment, a life that is purpose-driven so you can make the impact you were designed to make in this life through the gospel of Jesus Christ. Call a friend, call a loved one, tell somebody to tell somebody to hook up right now as I take you into that service where the Spirit of our God is already moving. Happy listening.
Heavenly Father, we rejoice this morning because we have access into the deep things of God. And we thank You for the privilege to look into Your precious word. And I pray for everybody under the sound of my voice that the eyes of your understanding be flooded with light. Veils fall off your eyes. Clarity comes by the word of God. You are built up and equipped and edified. Jesus is glorified. Nobody leaves here the same way they came. We give You praise and glory for Your word that is established in our hearts. In Jesus' precious name, and every believer says a powerful amen.
Lift your right hands to heaven. Let's release our faith together as we say these words. I am born of God. I am born of the word. The word of God is my nature. I do not struggle to do the word. I do the word naturally. Therefore today, I will understand the word of His grace. I will be built up. By the end of this service, I will never be the same. Never ever be the same again. In Jesus' name, and every believer says a powerful amen.
We want to welcome every one of you joining us by way of Kingdom Life Network, Facebook, YouTube, all the platforms including all our campuses around the world. We are glad to have everybody connected to the service. You get ready. The word is going to build you up and you will never be the same again. Can I have a powerful amen? Is there anybody here excited about the gift of eternal life? Can we give the Lord Jesus a praise and a shout for the gift of eternal life? Glory! Glory! Amen. You can be seated with your sweet, smart self this morning as we get into the word of God.
I want to begin in the book of Matthew chapter 16 verse number 13. I'm still teaching on the Father and His family. When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples saying, "Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?" "Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?" The next verse. And they said, "Some say that thou art John the Baptist, some Elias, and others Jeremias, or one of the prophets."
And you know, that's the dilemma a lot of Christians have today when it comes to the revelation of God in Christ. A lot of believers are still struggling with these realities. They are still struggling with the fact that Jesus is God. To so many believers, Jesus is one of the prophets. To some other believers, Jesus is God's junior brother. To other believers, Jesus is like Elijah. He's like Jeremiah, or Jesus is like one of the prophets. So many believers' view of Jesus is actually an opinion of what people think.
As long as Jesus is one of the prophets, or Jesus is like Jeremiah or Elijah, or Jesus is like Moses, you will never see that Jesus' words and Jesus' message and Jesus' teaching is superior to the message of the prophets. So as long as that remains your perception and your mindset, you will keep fighting with the reality of Jesus being God. Because Jesus is not a prophet. Jesus is God who became a man. Jesus is God manifest in the flesh. Jesus is God revealed in humanity. Jesus is God explaining God to man in human form. Jesus is God trapped in matter. Jesus is God manifest in time.
Jesus is not a prophet. All the prophets were pointers to Jesus. Jesus is the accurate, exact, comprehensive revelation of God to humanity. That's why He said to Simon Bar-Jona in Matthew chapter 16 verse number 14. Just pay attention as I read through. He said unto them, verse 14, and they said, "Some say that thou art John the Baptist, some Elias, and others Jeremias, or one of the prophets." Next verse 15. He said unto them, "But whom say ye that I am? Who do you say that I am?" Look at the next verse. And Simon Peter answered and said, "Thou art the Christ, the Christos, the Son of the living God." Next verse.
And Jesus answered and said unto him, "Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-Jona, for flesh and blood hath not revealed"—if your Bible was mine, you would underline the word "revealed"—"hath not revealed it unto thee, but My Father which is in heaven." Meaning you can never know Jesus except the Father reveals Jesus to you. And you can never know the Father, I mean you can never know Jesus except the Father reveals Jesus to you. And you can never know the Father except Jesus reveals the Father to you. So Jesus is the comprehensive revelation of the Father. Meaning the Son is seen in the Father and the Father is seen in the Son. Meaning the Son unveils the Father. Meaning the Father unveils the Son.
Look at Luke chapter 10 verse 22. "All things are delivered to Me of My Father," Jesus speaking. "And no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal Him." So the Son reveals the Father. The Father reveals the Son. Because the Son and the Father are one. The revelation of the Father is in the Son. The revelation of the Son is in the Father. You cannot know the Father until you know the Son. To know God is to know Christ. If you don't know Christ, you don't know God. Because God is Christ, Christ is God. God is revealed in Christ. The revelation of God will be seen in the man Jesus. If you don't know Jesus, you don't know the Father. If you miss Jesus, you miss the Father. To know the Father, you must know the Son, because the Son reveals the Father.
Please pay attention. John chapter 3 verse 11. "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, we speak that we do know and testify that we have seen, and you receive not our witness," Jesus is speaking to Nick at night. "If I have told you earthly things and you believe not, how shall you believe if I tell you of heavenly things?" The word "heavenly" is a Greek word for immaterial. It's not a location somewhere in the sky. The heavenly is the realm of God that is not material, immaterial. Meaning it's an intangible realm.
So Jesus said, "If I speak to you material things and you do not believe, how shall you believe if I begin to talk to you about immaterial realities?" Immaterial, the fact that they are immaterial doesn't mean they're not real. It is just that they are immaterial reality and that is the realm of the born-again man. Because the born-again man is born of the Spirit, which is immaterial. That which is born of the flesh, material, is flesh. That which is born of the Spirit, immaterial, is immaterial. The believer operates in the material and in the immaterial world, but his realities are in the immaterial world. His realities are in the immaterial world.
Now pay attention to that John chapter 3. I want to get somewhere with it. John chapter 3 verse 12. "If I have told you earthly things and you believe not, how shall you believe if I tell you of heavenly things?" What were the earthly things He told them? Born of water. Born of water. "Except a man be born of water, born again." Those are heavenly things. And Nicodemus was struggling to comprehend born of water, born of the Spirit. He was struggling. Then Jesus says, "Supposing I speak in heavenly terms. If you can't understand water, which to the Jewish man, water means newness." Born again means to be born anew.
Born again is not a rebranded life. Born again is not an upgraded life. Born again is not an improved life. Born again is a brand new life. It's a brand new life that does not have a past. It's a brand new life that does not have history. It's a brand new life that never existed before. It's a new kind of humanity that cannot be explained by human beings. He that is from above is above all. A born-again man is a man that is born from above, born anew, does not have any history whatsoever.
So now look at Jesus speaking in the next verse, the next verse of John chapter 3 verse number 13. "And no man hath ascended up to heaven." Nobody has ever come into the immaterial realm. "No man hath ascended up to heaven, but He that came down from heaven, even the Son of Man which is in heaven," not which was in heaven. "Which is in heaven." That means I am speaking to you right now on earth, at the same time I am the one in heaven. Because Jesus is God who manifested as man for the purpose of salvation.
Jesus is the love of God demonstrated. Jesus is the love of God expressed. Jesus is the love of God dispensed. Jesus is the love of God offered. He that spared not His Son but gave Him up for us all. So Jesus is God in humanity, stepping into humanity's shoes to pay sin's debt on behalf of humanity so that humanity can be united with God in Christ.
God made Him sin for us who knew no sin. That we who knew sin might be made. I didn't become righteous. I was made. There's nothing you can do to be righteous. Nothing. There's nothing any human being can do to be righteous. If you could be righteous, Jesus wouldn't die. Jesus died because man is bankrupt. Man is exhausted. Man does not have the wherewithal. Man is broke. Man does not have the capacity or the currency to pay for his sins. So God in Christ became a man to die and pay sin so that man is free from sin's guilt and from sin's power and from sin's captivity, so that man can come into the adoption of sons and stand fast in the liberty wherewith Christ has set you free and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. For whom the Son sets free is free indeed. Can I have a powerful amen?
Now, I said all of that to come to where I'm going. The believer must be taught how to respond. The believer must be taught how to respond. Remember brother James said we have to be taught how to respond. In James chapter 1 verse 5 to 7. Please pay attention. "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God that giveth to all men liberally." The word "liberally" means generously. He gives generously, "and upbraideth not." The word "upbraideth not" means He does not find fault. God does not find fault. When you come to God in prayer, He does not say, "Is there any sin around you? Are you living right? Is there any question mark?" He does not find fault. God is not a fault-finder.
I want that to sink. The word "upbraideth" means God does not find fault. Why does He not find fault? Because He is the cure for all faults. He cures every human predicament and every human inability and every human shortcoming and every human struggle and every human's inability. He solves the problem. So because He cures the problem, He doesn't go around looking for faults. "He upbraideth not." And because He upbraideth not, He gives. "It shall be given him."
Now watch the next verse. "It shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed." Next verse. Oh boy. "For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord." Let a man that wavers about the character of God not think that he shall receive anything from the Lord. It didn't say, "Let him not think that God will give him something." The problem is not with God giving. He already told you that God does not find fault. He already told you that God is generous. Then He now says, "But you should not waver. You should not waver. You should not be double-minded." Why shouldn't you be double-minded? If you are double-minded, you cannot receive. It didn't say God will not give. He said you cannot receive. So the problem is not with God giving, the problem is with man receiving, because God has already given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness in Christ Jesus.
Is it getting clear? Now, "let not that man think that he shall receive." So we must be taught how to receive. "That he shall receive anything from the Lord." Put up that scripture again. Give me the next verse, the next verse, verse 8. "A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways." Who is a double-minded man? A double-minded man is a man who believes that God giveth, God taketh away. God killeth, God maketh alive. God is good, God is bad. God is a killer, God is a giver. You're double-minded. And He says, "If you're double-minded about God's character, you cannot receive anything from the Lord." You must be single-minded about the character of God.
In that same context in verse 16, brother James says, "Do not err, my beloved brethren." Don't get into error. What is the reason for error? Jesus in Matthew says, "You do err because you know not the scriptures nor the power of God." You know not. So ignorance of God and ignorance of God's character will make you err. And in error, you cannot receive anything from the Lord. Then James went ahead to say, "Every good and perfect gift cometh from above, from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variableness nor shadow of turning." God is good. God is good and consistently, constantly good. There is no bad in good. He's good. Oh God, He's good all the time. If it's clear, can I hear a powerful amen? So believers must be taught how to receive. Believers must be taught how to receive. Believers must be taught how to receive.
Somebody say very loud with me, "I receive right now everything that is mine in Christ Jesus." Can you say it like you know and mean what you're talking about? "I receive right now everything that is mine in Christ Jesus. I receive it." Can I hear a powerful amen? And you know, many people think that receiving from God is to just sit down and wait for it to fall on you like a bird, boom, or like a text message. You just keep your phone and the text message enter. No, that's not the way to receive.
The word "receive" is a Greek word *lambánō*. *Lambánō* means to take from, to take from. In fact, a version which I think is too strong says, "to seize, to seize." In Mark chapter 11 verse 24. He says it means to seize. Mark 11:24. "Therefore I say unto you, what things soever you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive and believe that you seize them and you shall have them." Believe that you seize them and you shall have them. *Lambánō*. It means to take from. That means there's a way to respond. And we shall see how to respond shortly. There is a way to respond, just like salvation. John chapter 1 verse 12. "As many as received Him, as many as receive, as many as receive, as many as receive."
How do you receive? Romans chapter 10 verse 8, 9, and 10. "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. If thou shalt believe in thine heart and confess with thy mouth." How do you receive salvation? By believing and confessing. So receiving is an active word. You don't just sit down and be saved. No, you believe, you confess. You believe, you confess that Jesus is Lord and that God raised Him from the dead. On that confession that is birthed by a heart of believing in what He has done, regeneration takes place. Christ comes in and takes up residence and He lives in there forever.
Christ does not live in the heart of the believer temporarily. He lives in the heart of the believer forever. So that means you did something to receive Him. You did something to receive Him. So to receive means you stretch out your hand and take. You stretch out your hand and take. You need to learn how to receive. As believers, you need to learn how to respond. How to respond. How to receive. Very important. How to respond and how to receive.
Back to Matthew chapter 16 verse number 13 again. When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples saying, "Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?" Verse 15. 15. He said unto them, "But whom say ye that I am? But whom say ye that I am?" Verse 17. Jesus answered and said, "Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-Jona, for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but My Father."
So verse 17 says the Father reveals. "Who do men say that I am? Who do you say that I am?" The Father reveals the Son. So the Son is a revelation. Christianity is built on the revelation of God in Christ. Until you have that revelation, you are just in a religion. Religion is man trying to go to God. Religion is man looking for how to get to God. Religion is man doing good works to qualify for God's acceptance. Religion is man making efforts, making efforts to be accepted by God. And listen carefully, man's efforts can never gain God's acceptance, number one. Number two, man can never get to God.
But religion keeps you struggling, struggling, struggling, struggling. And after many years as a Christian, you're still empty because your struggles end in futility. Christianity is not man looking for how to get to God. Christianity is God has come to man. Christianity is not man struggling to please God. Christianity is God in man. Christ has pleased Himself. "This is My beloved Son in whom I am well pleased." So when the pleasure of God, who is Jesus, enters your heart, Jesus in you makes you please God. It's not your fasting. It's not your prayer. It's not your struggles to be moral. Those are good in the natural, but they don't score points with God.
Mortal man cannot score points with God. Take that down. Mortal man cannot score points with God because all of your righteousness put together is filthy rags. All of your morality put together is filthy rags. So mortal man cannot score points with God. If mortal man could score points with God, then God wouldn't come to earth. Man would have qualified for God's acceptance. But the best of men couldn't qualify. "For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteousness of God might be fulfilled in us, not by us."
We didn't qualify for God's righteousness. God fulfilled the demands of the law on behalf of man and nailed the law and said to man, "If you come to Me and believe what I have done, you have become righteous by faith in what I have done." That is why righteousness showed up, being witnessed by the law and the prophets. The law was standing. The prophets were standing. Righteousness came without the law and the prophets. It came irrespective and independent of the law and the prophets. Meaning you don't need to meet up any human standard to be accepted by God. All you need is faith in Christ. I didn't hear powerful amen.
What the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh. You believe, you receive. The Father reveals the Son, and in the revelation of the Son is where you find yourself. You cannot find yourself until the Son is revealed to you. Watch. "Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-Jona, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father which is in heaven." Now that My Father has revealed Me to you, I say you are not Simon Bar-Jona. You are Peter. But you will never know you are Peter until you know Me.
As long as you don't know Me, you'll be a victim of identity crisis. Oh yes, you'll be answering a name that is not yours. Simon Bar-Jona. Simon Bar-Jona. And even your earthly father don't know you. Your biological father don't know you. So if you go by what your father said about you, you'll be confused in life. Your true revelation is in Christ. And until you confess face-to-face with Christ and know Him in His revelation is your identity. You can't know who you are as long as you don't know who Christ is. The believer is revealed in Christ.
So the revelation of the Son carries with it the identity of the believer. The only person that can tell you who you are is Jesus. Not even your doctor. Not even the psychologist. He says unto him, "Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-Jona, for flesh and blood has not revealed, but My Father. My Father." And upon this rock of revelation, I will build My church. And the gates of hell—the word "hell" there is not hellfire, the word "hell" there is Hades—it means the gates of death. The gates of death cannot prevail. What He is saying is, I will die, and in My death, death cannot keep Me down because My resurrection will be the building of My church. My resurrection will be the building of My church.
When Jesus rose, the church was born. When Jesus rose, the born-again man was produced. Are you still in the building? John 2:19, "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up." So the temple, the church, the house of God was raised up in three days. Three days, the day of resurrection. The born-again man came out of resurrection. Yeah, the born-again man came out of resurrection. God built Himself a house when Jesus rose. And today you are that house. You are God's eternal abode. You are God's eternal residence.
In other words, He says to Peter, "I give unto you the keys of the kingdom. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven. Whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." What He is saying is, when I rise, My authority will be with you. You will function in My authority. What I have will be what you have. What I am will be who you are. What I can do will be what you can do. Because the born-again man will be revealed in Christ when He rises from the dead. And when He rose from the dead, He gave birth to a new kind of humanity that never existed before. Hallelujah.
So today we have access. We are in the kingdom. We are not going to go to the kingdom. We are right now in the kingdom. We are in the kingdom. It's not heaven at last. No, we are not trying to make heaven. We're not Muslims. If you are still trying to make heaven, you don't know Christ. It means you're not even born again. If you're still trying to make heaven, you and a Muslim are the same. "When You come to collect Your people, remember me, oh Lord." Eh? The thief on the cross is better than you. The thief on the cross is better than you, if you are still singing such a song. "Remember me when You come to collect Your people." Which corner are you hiding?
It's not heaven at last. It's heaven at first. And I will give you scriptures. The believer does not try to get to heaven. The believer is born into heaven. Born again is a birth into heaven. Please, I need you to listen to me. Keep your mind open. Except a man be born again, he cannot enter. If he's not born again, he cannot enter. Which means born again is entering.
That means the day you got born again, you entered heaven. And you didn't just taste it. You entered there to live. The believer right now lives in heaven. Born again is entrance to heaven. Heaven is the believer's reality. We're in the kingdom now. Colossians chapter 1 verse 12. Stay with me. Colossians. Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us, hath, hath, hath, hath, which hath made, made us, hath made us, hath made us meet to be partakers. The word "meet" is the old English word for—it's not *suya*—it's the old English word for "qualified." Which has made us qualified to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.
Right now, we are partakers of the inheritance of the saints who are in light. The day you got born again, you moved from darkness to light. The believer is in the light. Let me ask you a question. Is the believer in light or he's trying to get to the light? Is the believer in the light? Is the believer in the light? The believer is in the light, that's why he's the light of the world. The believer is not trying to get to the light. The believer was born into the kingdom of light. The Father is the Father of lights. The Father of lights. You are the light of the world because you're born into light.
*Communicates thou?* Put it up. Giving thanks unto the Father which has made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light. Next verse, verse 13. Who hath, hath, hath, hath, hath delivered, delivered, delivered. He will not deliver. He hath delivered us. The believer is the one that is delivered. The believer does not need deliverance. The believer is already delivered from the power of darkness. And He has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. Somebody shout glory!
The believer doesn't need deliverance. The believer is already delivered. Somebody say, what about I see myself eating in the dream? Ask for more. Ask for more. If you see food in your dream, finish it and ask for more. Why? Food in the dream is not a sign of demonic possession. There's no verse in the Bible, not even in the Old Testament, that says if you see food in your dream you're possessed. It's African mindset. The believer is delivered. The believer doesn't need deliverance. Who hath delivered us from the power—put it up—from the power of darkness, from the power of darkness. And not only has He delivered us, He has translated. He has delivered us. After delivering us, He translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. Next verse. In whom we have, we have, we have, we have, we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins. Wherever you're seated right now, your sins are totally forgiven. Oh, I thought somebody would wave your hand and shout hallelujah. We have the forgiveness of sins. We're not going to have, we have. Our sins are eternally forgiven right now in Christ Jesus.
And I know somebody will say, "Yeah, well we know that our sins are forgiven, but shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?" Think when you read the Bible. Think. Think. Don't just read like that. And don't just read because somebody read it. Shall we continue in, in, not to sin? There's a difference between in and to. It didn't say shall we continue to sin? He said shall we continue in sin? And what was the answer? God forbid. What is God forbid? Impossible. Impossible. It cannot happen. A believer cannot continue in sin. If he's in sin, he's not a believer. If he's a believer, he's not in sin. If he's in sin, he's not a believer. If he's a believer, he's not in sin. Why? He has been translated from darkness to light.
So sin shall no longer have dominion over you. Why? Because you're not under the law, you're under grace. Brother Paul says how? How shall we that are dead to sin live any longer therein? Know ye not that as many of us as were baptized into Christ were baptized into His death? Don't you know what you carry on your inside? You carry the life of God. You carry the totality of God. You carry immortality, immortality. You carry deity on your inside. You are the holiness of God. You are the sanctification of God. You are the righteousness of God in Christ. Can somebody shout glory! Touch your neighbor, say, "That's who I am. That's who I am." Glory! Glory! Glory! Glory!
Brother Paul will pray for the church in Ephesus in Ephesians chapter 1 verse 18. Ephesians chapter 1 verse number 18. The eyes of your understanding being enlightened, that you may know—*ha-ga-ba-da*—that you may know what is the hope of His calling and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints. There is an inheritance in the saints. There is an inheritance in the saints. The believer is a custodian of God's inheritance. There is an inheritance in the saints. Say with me, "I'm a carrier of God's inheritance. I'm a possessor of God's inheritance. I am the residence of God's inheritance."
Put that scripture, put that scripture. Don't be in a hurry to remove. What the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints. Next verse, verse 19. Hey, I love this one. And what is the exceeding greatness of His power to usward who believe, according to the working of His mighty power. Next verse. Which He wrought in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenlies. Next verse. Far above principality and power and might and dominion and every name that is named, not only in this world but also in that which is to come. Next verse, next verse. And had put all things under His feet and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church. Next verse, next verse. Which is His body, the fullness of Him that filleth all in all. Next verse, next verse. If there's no next verse, next chapter, chapter 2 verse 1. And you hath He quickened. And you hath He quickened. And you hath He quickened. And you hath He quickened, who were dead in sins and trespasses. Next verse. Wherein in time past you walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience. Next verse. Among whom we all had our conversation in time past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature the children of wrath even as others.
But God, but God, but God who is rich in mercy for His great love wherewith He loved us. He loved us. He loved us. He will not love us. He loved us. He will not love us. He loved us. Next verse. Even when we were, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ. By grace you are saved. Next verse. And hath raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Together. Together. Together. You will never find one without the other. Together. Together. Together. Where you are right now is where you will be forever. You didn't hear that. Where you are right now is where you will be forever. Where you are right now is where you will be till eternity. The Father is not coming out. We are not moving from the spirit to the senses. We left that level long ago. We are not going to the Father. We are not going to the Father. We are not going to the Father.
The Father has come to us. The Father lives in us. The Father dwells in us. The Father abides in us. The Father resides in us. We are the Father's house. Jesus said, "I and My Father shall come into you and make our abode inside." If you're catching what I'm sharing, shout, "I hear you." Push your neighbor with your elbow and say, "I am the Father's residence." The Father lives in me. This is our reality. The Father and His family.
We left the senses long ago. Jesus said, "In that day you will know. In that day you will *ginosko*. In that day you will know." In that day. This was before He died. So when He said in that day, He was referring to after resurrection. In that day, is today before resurrection or after? So it is today He was talking about. John 14:20. "At that day, you shall know that I in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you." You didn't see that. "In that day, you shall know." Do we know? He in the Father. The Father in us. We in Him. So a union that cannot be separated.
I in you, you in Me, we in the Father, the Father in us. None can be separated. When you see Me, you see the Father. When you see the Father, you see Me. When you see Me, you see you. When you see you, you see Me. We can't be separated. My appearance is your appearance. My disappearance is your disappearance. Where I am, you are. Where you are, I am. Where you go, I go. Where I go, you go. We can't be separated. In that day you shall know. And if you refuse to know, it doesn't cancel the reality. So it's even better you know so you can enjoy it. If you say, "Dr. Damina, I don't agree," no problem. It is still there whether you agree or not.
The reality. This is—hey, brother, this is Jesus talking. Not Moses. Listen, this is not Elijah talking. This is Jesus who is God talking. He said you will know in that day. Why will you know? You will have the Holy Spirit. "And when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will show you all things. No man can know the things that are in a man save the spirit that is in a man. Even so no man can know the things of God except the Spirit of God which is in him." We have now not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit that is of God, that we may know the things that are freely given to us of God. What do we know? He lives in me.
Now if you don't know that God lives in you, two things. It's either you're not born again, or you're born again but you are untutored. You're not taught. You're an illiterate. You are an illiterate of spiritual realities. And illiteracy is not a threat to knowledge. Illiteracy is not a threat to knowledge. Knowledge damages illiteracy at any encounter between the two. Illiteracy recognizes the superiority of knowledge, just like light and darkness have no conflict. The arrival of light is the disappearance of darkness. It disappears without notice.
So when you hear what I'm teaching, even if you argue with me in your head, your spirit agrees. And after some time, it starts troubling you. Your spirit will start troubling you because the Holy Ghost in you is there to bring you into all the truth. He will trouble you. You can run away from what I'm teaching. Give yourself a little time, you'll be the one looking for it. Truth is one. Truth is not two. Truth is one. The age of a lie doesn't make it the truth. As long as you hold onto a lie one day, when truth hits you in the face, you will see the weakness of lies in the presence of truth.
African tradition, religious mindset can block you from truth. But when you hear it, there will be a witness in your spirit. Because the Spirit beareth witness with our spirit that we are sons of God. You may argue it in your head, but your spirit will say, "Mm-mm, that looks like it." Your head may say, "Mm-mm" because of dogma. Because of dogma. Because of religiosity and Judaism and Africanization of the gospel inside the head. But your spirit will say, "Mm-mm, this is it." And after a while, after a while, after a while, the dogma will start wearing out. The African tradition will start wearing out. Religion will start wearing out. Your spirit will start rising up. That truth you ran away from will come back again.
I've met a lot of people all over the blue marble planet who say, "Dr. Damina, when I first heard you, I shouted heresy. Heresy!" Said, "After a while I could not rest. Something told me that thing he was saying sounds like correct. Check it again." I came and checked. I said, "No heresy." He said, "Today I'm a proponent of what he said because the reality has dawned on me." I have them everywhere around the world because the truth is one. The truth, except you're not born of God. If you're born of God, the Holy Spirit is inside you and He's there to bear witness to the truth.
Say, "He lives in me." Say very loud, "I am born of God." Say very loud, "I am God's residence." Say very loud, "He lives in me forever." Say with me very loud, "I live in Him forever." I didn't hear powerful amen. I have many things to say. You will bear all of them.
Brother Paul is a person of emphasis. He said, "Rejoice again I say rejoice." Just rejoice. When this reality dawned on you, what they produce in you is rejoicing. It brings joy. Boldness comes on your inside. Boldness is how to speak. Boldness is the ability to speak. It's an active word. Boldness is not to God. Boldness is toward situations, the devil, and everything that the devil puts up. Hallelujah. I said hallelujah. Say with me, "The Father lives in me." I didn't hear you. "The Father lives in me." Can I hear powerful amen? As a believer in Christ, you are right now in your eternal reality. You are God's temple. You are God's temple. Everyone of us in this building is the habitation of God. If God is not dwelling in you, you are not born of God. I repeat. If you say God does not live in you, what you have said is that you're not born of God.
If you are not having God living in you, you're not a member of our family. Every member of our family is God's habitation. Every member of our family is God's dwelling place. Every member of our family houses God. If there is sin in you, you're not in our family. If your old man is still alive, you're not in our family. If your old man is still active, you're not in our family. The only way you can be in our family is if the Father is in you. And if the Father is in you, sin is no more in you. If the Father is in you, the old man is gone. If the Father is in you, Satan is no more master over you. You can't claim to be a member of our family unless the Father lives in you. Jesus said in John 14:16, "And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another comforter," is the Greek word *allos*, another of the same, "that He may abide with you for three weeks." What does your Bible say? So He uses a term, next verse 17, "even the Spirit of truth, even the Spirit of truth." What did He mean? He was saying something. "In that day, I will be in you, you will be in Me." He now said, "The Spirit of that reality, even the Spirit of that reality." What He's saying is, "What I am saying to you is a reality in the Spirit that the Father lives in you." The Father living in you is a reality in the Spirit. It's a reality. So the Spirit is the reality of the Father. The Spirit of God in you is the reality of the Father living in you. That is if you want to find the fulfillment of what Jesus said, you will see it in the Spirit. And He said He will abide with you forever.
Now watch this. Watch this. There is something about the incarnation of Jesus. Please pay attention. In the incarnation of Jesus, brother Paul uses two words in the Greek that is so instructive. It's the word *kenōsis*, *kenōsis*. Philippians chapter 2 verse 6, pay attention. "Who being in the form of God thought it not robbery to be equal with God." Next verse. "But made Himself of no reputation and took upon Him the form of a servant and was made in the likeness of men." Give me the amplified of verse 6. Amplified version. "Who although being essentially one with God and in the form of God, possessing the fullness of the attributes which make God God, did not think this equality with God was a thing to be eagerly grasped or retained." Next verse. "But stripped Himself of all privileges and rightful dignity so as to assume the guise of a servant. In that He became like men and was born a human being." God disguised Himself and was born a human being.
Jesus walking on earth is God being a human being. Message translation. Message. Verse 6 and 7. Philippians Message. Good. "He had equal status with God, but didn't think so much of Himself that He had to cling to the advantages of that status no matter what. He didn't want to be God no matter what and see you die in sin. So because of you, He gave up the privileges of that status." Next verse. "Not at all. When the time came, He set aside the privileges of deity and took on the status of a slave, became human." God became human to save you. Are we teaching? Jesus is God Almighty. If you don't know that one, you're not born again. If you don't know that Jesus is God Himself, you're not born again. Because which way did you get born again? Jesus is God Himself. Can I be honest with you? There is no God outside Jesus. You can't find God else. Outside Jesus, God does not exist. Jesus is the only God that there is. I'm not joking. I can give you, I can run you scriptures until you run out of this building that Jesus is God Himself.
What was Isaiah's prophecy? Isaiah the prophet, what was his prophecy? "His name shall be called wonderful, counselor, everlasting Father, mighty God, mighty God, Prince of Peace." Who is Prince of Peace? Jesus. Who is mighty God? Jesus. Who is everlasting Father? Jesus. Who is the Prince of Peace? Jesus.
See, I was preaching somewhere about Jesus being God and a pastor got angry. Can you believe a pastor is angry? A pastor, not elder, not deacon. Pastor. A pastor got angry and was waiting for me at the door. The thing done vexed her. How can I say Jesus is God? Do I know who God is? Man is fuming in front at the door that they would use to carry me out. We're leaving the building and the pastor says, "Dr. Damina, I have a problem." I said, "What's your problem?" "How can you say Jesus is God? How? How?" I said, "Excuse me. Are you asking a question or are you confronting me? You have to define what you want. If it's a question, apologize to me and ask it well. You have illiteracy, I have knowledge. Because knowledge does not bow to illiteracy."
Then he calmed down and said, "Okay, I'm sorry, sir. What I mean is, how can you say Jesus is God? Okay, Jesus say pray after this manner: Our Father which..." "How can you say Jesus is God?" I said, "Okay, now you have asked well. I can explain well. Because there's a way to ask question. Because you that is asking the question, you are the one in need. You have to calm down, humble yourself, so that we can free you from ignorance so it will not disgrace you in public." I said to him, "Jesus, when He walked on the earth in the incarnation, could not say I am God. People won't take it. They will kill Him prematurely. Remember when He even said 'I and My Father are one,' what did they do? They took stones. Is it when He says 'I am the Father'? They would quench Him now, before time. He would still die, but there is a time for that death." So He had to be referring them to a Father in heaven which was still Him. Pray to My Father in heaven. He is still the Father in heaven. Because He operated dual citizenship. See, He was 100% man as though not God and 100% God as though not man. It's called *theanthropos*. He was God-man. So as man, He cried. As man, He ate. As man, He was tempted. As man, He slept. As man, He was tired. As God, He walked on the water. As God, He turned water to wine. As God, He raised Lazarus from the dead. As God, He rose from the dead. I feel like I'm preaching here. See, Jesus is God-man, the *theanthropos*. He's still the same person. He's still the same person. He is 100% God and 100% man. Is it clear? If it's clear, can I have a powerful amen?
That's why He said no man has ascended up to heaven except the Son of Man which is in heaven. Because He's the one there and the one here. Watch. I'm taking you somewhere. You will bear all today. I'll soon finish. It's not an everlasting message, even though it is everlasting. So Jesus became absent in one realm. He functioned in a way where He emptied Himself. That is, if you look back at how He was, if you look back at how He was, when you see Him in humanity, He is not that way again. He has emptied Himself. Because *kenōsis* in the Greek means when you look here, it will be empty. That is, when you look back at the way the Father is before Jesus came, you won't find Him like that again. He has changed shape and changed location to serve a purpose. Is the Greek word *ginomai*. He changed shape and location. He took upon Him the form, the form of a servant. He changed shape and location. Pay attention.
Then He says—Paul uses the word *katabasis*. That is, He descended. That is, He switched how He was. Did you notice that when Jesus was talking about dwelling, He used the word "forever"? He would dwell in you forever. It means many things changed in redemption. Many things changed in redemption. Because in redemption now, man became God's house. In redemption, man became God's eternal residence. Where the Father was, or where the Father is, changed. Because now, Jesus said, "I and My Father, we will live wherever we are and we will move into you and make you our abode." Something changed. He moved His eternal residence into the man called the born-again man. You're not understanding. That is, God Deity moved everything that makes, constitutes Deity. He moved all inside a born-again man and He is living there forever. So the born-again man houses Deity forever. Meaning the born-again man is God's heaven.
Actually, the born-again man is the holiest of all. That's what I taught in the first service. If you're not here, watch it at 6 o'clock or get the material. The born-again man is the holiest of all. God moved in to live, to make His abode in the born-again man. Do you know that while we see it as descending, as though He will change later, the scripture says God will remain like that in you forever. The only person that will be changed is not God, is you. God will not change, and God will not move out of you. He will live in you forever. It is this your outward body that will change. Your inner man remains intact as God's, God's dwelling realm. Then your outer man will be changed to comply with your eternal reality. Mortality shall put on immortality. Corruption shall put on incorruption. We shall be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye. We are not traveling.
No verse in the entire Bible—go and check, if you find, bring it. No verse in the entire Bible says we will travel. The word "caught up," the word the "catching up" is the changing. When this body boom, that change is the "caught up." Is the "caught up." That is, you will leave this realm into the eternal realm where you are right now. Glory! Glory! Glory! The kind of body you will put on will condemn this realm. Holy Ghost, *zamen-ka-tobeke-tekete*. I'm looking for English language. That is, the body you will put on, the body we put on will render this realm inferior. Once you put on that celestial body, this terrestrial will be disqualified to keep you. When you wear that body, when you wear it, when you wear it, matter, matter will disappear. Matter will no more be matter. In that body, you can appear anywhere in seconds, not even seconds, in microseconds. You can, you...
See, in that body, you can look at the pillar at the back and just as you look at it, you are there. Oh, there's no English to explain it. The only way I can explain it is *zamyanoniana*. Now, in that body, in that immaterial body, once you wear it, heaven becomes real. It's not a travel, it's a realm. You... look at the way Paul puts it. "To be absent from the body is to be present." It's... it's not travel. We're not marching to Zion. Zion is far. You will never get there. We are come to Zion. We are come to Zion. We are come to Zion. We are not coming to Zion, we are come to Zion. Where are the Zionites in this building? Glory! Glory! Glory! Glory!
Give me few minutes let me round up this. Hallelujah. The word became flesh. The word became flesh. The word became flesh and dwelt among us. Do you know that the entire Old Testament, with all the glory that was in the Old Testament, none of it could explain God? None of the Old Testament could really explain God. The closest explanation of God is found in a man. So it's not actually a descent, like He lowered Himself. Mm-mm. He is actually revealing Himself. God becoming a man is God revealing Himself to man. Yeah, Jesus is the revelation of God in humanity. Jesus didn't come to explain God. Jesus is God explaining Himself. He's God explaining Himself. He's revealing Christ.
That's why David will say, "What is man that thou art mindful of him?" And then the writer of Hebrews put it like this as I round up this. Are you blessed? Hebrews chapter 2 verse 6. Look at the way the writer of Hebrews puts it. *Zapa-taka-ba*. Hebrews 2:6, brother, put it up on that screen. "But one in a certain place testified saying, What is man that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man that thou visitest him?" Next verse. "Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honor, and didst set him over the works of thy hands." Look at verse 8 now carefully. "Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him."
Flip to Genesis chapter 1 verse 26. "God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them, let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth." 27. "So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them." Next verse. "And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, replenish the earth, subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth." Man, have dominion.
Hebrews chapter 2 verse 7. "Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honor, and didst set him over the works of thy hands." Verse 8. "Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. Let them have dominion over all." For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But when we look, this man is not in authority. When we look at man, that thing God said is not happening. When we look at man, we see cancer ruling man. We see ulcer punishing man. When we look at man, we see circumstances defeating man. That dominion is not in exercise. So something is wrong. It's either God was talking to somebody else, not this man, or this man has not yet arrived a state where he can function that reality.
So when we look at man, he's not really in authority like he ought to be. Then we inquired further. And when we inquired further, look at the next verse. "But we see Jesus." So the man is Jesus. The man in dominion is Jesus. When He rose from the dead He said, "All power is given to Me in heaven, on earth, and under the earth." That's the man in authority. How do I begin to function in that dominion? "If any man be where..." So the man in Christ is the image of God. A man that is not born again is not the image of God. He's the image of his biological father.
So all men are not the image of God. You only become the image of God when you are born of God in Christ. The day you're born again, you become the image and the likeness of God. And then from that day forward, you begin to function in the authority of members of the family. God is the creator of everybody, but He's not the father of everybody. He is only a father to those He gave birth to. And God's birth system is in Christ. When you receive Christ, you're born of God. "And whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith." I thought somebody would shout hallelujah. I thought somebody would shout hallelujah.
God in man is the revelation of God today. God in man, the man Jesus, the mediator between God and man. So the revelation of God is in Christ. And the moment Christ comes into you, you begin to see Christ in Christ, you see yourself. And when you see yourself in Christ, what you see is the fatherhood of God. God is my Father. The Spirit of adoption cries "Abba Father."
Somebody, can you raise your right hand and shout very loud, "Abba Father"? Say, "I have the Spirit of adoption. I'm born of God. I'm born of God. I have the Spirit of adoption. I cry, Abba Father." Now turn to somebody else and say, "Whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world. You're born of God. You're a world overcomer." Now tell your neighbor, "You overcome circumstances. You overcome situations. Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. You're a member of God's family. You're born of God. God is your Father." I didn't hear powerful amen.
Said it very loud with me, "I am in authority here. All power is given to me in heaven, on earth, and under the earth. I am in authority here. Whatever I allow is allowed. Whatever I disallow is disallowed. I am in charge. When I say no, no devil can say yes. I resist the devil, he flees from me. I occupy this territory and I am in charge in this world." I thought somebody would shout glory!
Lift your right hands to heaven and I want to hear your amens like thunder as I pray. I declare right now that this revelation of Jesus and the believer in Jesus, the Father and His family, grows big on your inside until nothing else matters. In the name of Jesus. Barriers are broken. Limitations are taken away. Mental cages are shattered. Your mind is renewed. Your mind is renewed. Your mind is aligned in the name of Jesus.
From this day you function in these realities. You function in these realities. You're born of God. You're born of the Spirit. You walk in the Spirit. You live in the Spirit. You function in the Spirit in the name of Jesus. The Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwelleth in your mortal body. *Zaba-tobele-temi-kangagaya*. Every infirmity, every sickness, every disease, I rebuke tumors, high blood pressure, I rebuke sugar diabetes, infections. I speak to you right now, flushed out in the name of Jesus. Your body be healed. Your body be healed. Your body be healed. Your body be healed. Your body be healed in the name of Jesus. *Ziba-tobola-kataria*.
Thank You, Father. Great grace is upon you. You are strengthened with might by the Spirit. *Hege-boja-kayadagaya*. I decree that you grow in grace, you grow in knowledge, and you abound in the grace of Jesus. Thank You, Lord. You are far from the path of confusion. You will never be confused. *Haka-badoga-balatataria*. Thank You, Father. Great grace is upon you today. In Jesus' precious name. And every believer says that amen on a note of finality. Can we go ahead and celebrate what we have in Christ? I'm not hearing you at all. Glory! Glory! Glory! Glory! Amen. These are the realities you function in, and this world becomes your parlor. You take charge. You live above and you function in these realities. Somebody shout hallelujah.
Blessed this afternoon? Get a good offering. Let's honor the word of God as we give. All of you on TV, on Facebook, YouTube, in our campuses global, grab your offerings. We're going to give and celebrate. And like I say every time I teach, if you have a question, you write it on a piece of paper and in a short while, I will answer whatever question is available, one or two questions, before I bless these marriages that are here today. Thank You, Lord. Hallelujah. If you have a question on anything I taught, we don't want you to be in the dark about anything. We're equipping you an army that the devil will be afraid of, so you need clarity on anything where there is no clarity in your mind.
Father, we rejoice as we give. We give in faith, we give with joy, and we give with gladness. Thank You for the privilege to honor Your word. Our offering today is our responsibility towards the gospel. Our offering today is our responsibility to see that the good word of God covers the earth. And we give in honor, we give in understanding, and we give with the value that we have for Jesus in our hearts. And we rejoice that our offerings rise before You a sweet smell. In Jesus' precious name, and every believer says a powerful amen.
Oh my goodness, the word of God is light. The Bible tells us the entrance of God's word giveth light, and it giveth understanding to the simple. As you keep listening, the light of God's word rises out of the rightly divided word of truth, illuminates your mind, illuminates your heart, and brings you face-to-face with your realities in Christ Jesus. In Ephesians chapter 3 verse 3, brother Paul speaking about the mystery, the Old Testament, he said whereby when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ. So there is a knowledge in the mystery of Christ. The word mystery is the word *mystērion* in the Greek. It means that which is concealed. And then he says how that by revelation—the word revelation is the word *apokalypsis*, it means that which is revealed. So the revelation of the scriptures unveils the mysteries. Revelation is the New Testament, mystery is the Old Testament. But it will take reading and learning to come to a place of full understanding, precise and accurate knowledge.
Brother Daniel will say, "I understood by books." So there's a place of books in equipping you soundly with the message of Christ. Brother Paul will write to Timothy. He says to Timothy, "Till I come, give attendance to reading." Jesus speaking to those Jews says, "You do err because you know not the scriptures nor the power of God." Often times, Jesus will say to the Jews, "Have you not read?" is the word *anaginōskō* in the Greek. It means, "Are you reading and not paying attention?"
I want to quickly recommend for you a plethora of books I have written. They are written with an intent to bring you doctrinal clarity, answer your questions doctrinally, and bring you to a place of accurate understanding, a precise knowledge of Christ and you in Christ. I want you to order for those books today. The number and the list of books available will be read to you right now.
