The Church of God in Service Part 55

June 1, 2026

Dr. Abel Damina: Father, we bless your name. We give you praise in the name of Jesus. Father, we rejoice that we have this another opportunity to come before your holy, precious, written word. We thank you that the mighty Holy Spirit lives on our inside. So we rejoice tonight that we have this another opportunity to study, to grow, and to be equipped in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus.

I pray for everybody connected to the broadcast, to the service, all the house churches right here in the building, all of our campuses around the world, the online brethren, and everybody connected around the world. The eyes of each one's understanding are flooded with light, mindsets corrected, and the power of God finding expression in the hearts and minds of your people. We declare that tonight, your people grow up, your people are built up, your people are edified, and Jesus is glorified. So we give you praise and glory for answered prayer. In Jesus' name we pray, and every believer says a powerful amen.

Glory to God. Lift your right hands to heaven. Let's release our faith together as we say these words. I am born of God. I am born of the word. The word of God is my nature. I do not struggle to do the word. I do the word naturally. Therefore, today, I will understand the word of His grace. I will be built up. By the end of this service, I will never be the same. Never, ever be the same again. In Jesus' name, and every believer says a powerful amen.

Glory to God. Are we excited to fellowship with one another and learn the word of God tonight? Can we celebrate our fellowship with a shout? Glory. Walk to two or three people, somebody you've not greeted today. Tell them you will be blessed because I came. Just greet somebody real good tonight in the house churches, online, in the campuses. Just greet somebody tonight. Just fellowship with somebody tonight. Make somebody happy as we get ready to enjoy the insights that come from the living word of God. Glory to God. Hallelujah.

Grab your pen, your notebook, and your Bible. You can be seated with your sweet, smart self tonight as we get into the word of His grace. John chapter 9, from verse 1 to 5. Understanding Satan: Myths and the Truth. And as Jesus passed by, He saw a man which was blind from his birth. And His disciples asked Him, saying, "Master, who did sin, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?" Jesus answered, "Neither hath this man sinned nor his parents, but that the works of God should be made manifest in him. I must work the works of Him that sent me while it is day. The night cometh when no man can work."

Jesus simply answered the question by saying, "Neither hath this man sinned nor his parents." Does it mean that this boy or his parents were believers? No, the parents and the boy were not believers. He wasn't saying they have not sinned before. He was saying the sickness is not as a result of any man's sin. The sickness in that boy's body is not as a result of any man's sin.

Don't let the devil lie to you that you are sick because your grandparents did something in the village and somebody placed a curse on you. Or better still, God is punishing your parents because they were idol worshippers. In this series, we took time to establish that to be a lie. Jesus answered them simply: nobody sinned. But that the works of God may be made manifest in him, I must work the works of Him that sent me.

Jesus didn't say that the works of God may be made manifest, that is why he was born blind. That's not what Jesus said. Jesus didn't say it is so that the works of God must be made manifest, that's why he was born blind. Jesus said nobody sinned, but irrespective of that, there is a situation, and my responsibility to this situation is to manifest the works of God. The work of God is to heal this condition. So healing is the work of God. Sickness is not the work of God.

Satan, just like in the case of Job, will deceive a man. The man will think that sickness is God's punishment for wrongdoing, or sickness is a punishment from God for not obeying something that God told you. That's the way some people think, and that's the way Satan likes to play with people's minds and deceive people's minds. The man will believe God has a purpose, and that is why he is poor. That's the belief system that Satan has marketed all over the place, and many people have bought into that belief system.

Some men will believe that God has a purpose, that's why he lost his job, that's why he's jobless, or some men will believe that God has a purpose, that's why he is sick. But I have said it very clearly that God has no purpose in sickness. God does not use sickness. Sickness is not the Holy Spirit. So God doesn't work through sickness. God doesn't give sickness to people. God only heals sickness.

In Acts chapter 10 verse 38, the scripture tells us how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power, who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil, for God was with Him. Now when Dr. Luke wrote that scripture, he was making reference to Luke chapter 4 verse 18. "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because He hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor. He hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised."

Jesus came to set people free. He didn't come to put people in bondage. He came to set people free from the bondage of the devil. And He was quoting from Isaiah chapter 61 from verse 1. That is where the original quotation came from, the prophecy of Isaiah. "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek. He hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound."

Now if you read Luke chapter 13 verse 11, when a woman was bound in sickness such that she was bent over, "And behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years and was bowed together and could in no wise lift up herself." When Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said unto her, "Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity." And He laid hands on her, and immediately she was made straight and glorified God.

Jesus said, "Ought not this woman, whom Satan hath bound?" Which means sickness is the bondage of Satan. Sickness is the work of Satan. And that is why Jesus went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed. So God's power is to do good. He went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil. He didn't heal some; He healed all. That means anyone who is sick is oppressed of the devil.

Take note: healing all. Which means anyone that is sick is oppressed of the devil. That's why when Jesus was healing the sick, He never discriminated against anybody. Whether you believed in Him or not, whether you followed Him or not, as long as you needed healing, He made healing available. There were no conditions. There was no inclusion, no preclusion, there was no exclusion. Anybody that was sick and needed healing and came to Jesus, Jesus healed them all because there is no condition for healing.

God loves people and wants to heal them. He has made healing available to whomsoever is willing to receive. It's one thing for God to make healing available; it's another thing for people to receive. God doesn't force healing on people, but He makes it available for whosoever wants to receive His healing power. It's important to know also that the people Jesus healed were the same people who crucified Him. So they were not righteous people. He didn't heal them because they were righteous. He didn't heal them because they were sinless. He didn't heal them because they were Mr. Nice Guy or Ms. Nice Gal. He healed them because it is in His character to heal people from the oppression of the devil. He healed simply because healing is the work of God.

In Matthew chapter 8 verse 16 and 17, when the even was come, they brought unto Him many that were possessed with devils. He cast out the spirits with His word and healed all that were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet saying, "Himself took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses." He took our infirmities. He didn't bring on us infirmities; He took our infirmities. Jesus healed them all because God's power is to heal. The only part God plays in sickness is to heal the sickness. He does not bring the sickness; rather, He heals the sickness.

In the book of Matthew chapter 4 verse 23, Jesus went about all Galilee teaching in their synagogues and preaching the gospel of the kingdom and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. He was healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. He goes everywhere healing. There's no record where Jesus made anybody sick, but we have a plethora of records of where He was healing all that were sick. Because God does not bring sickness, God takes away sickness and heals the sick.

Look at Matthew 9:25 where He repeats it. But when the people were put forth, He went in and took her by the hand and the maid arose. He healed her. So it's important to know that sickness is a work of Satan. Sickness is a work of Satan. However, Satan, in order to make his work to be much more perpetuated, he hides himself in the ignorance of man. So healing, therefore, is a work of God. Sickness came from the devil, and it's clear in God's word.

In John chapter 10 verse 10, the scripture tells us: "The thief cometh not but for to steal, to kill, and to destroy. I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." Even though the context of this quote is actually about false pastors, false prophets, they were the ones called the thief, but you know that behind the false pastor and the false prophet who are thieves is the thief. Satan is the one behind them, so Satan can also pass for the thief who comes to steal, to kill, and to destroy.

So anytime we see killings, anytime we see destructions, or when we see disasters, when we see men that are loosed or men that are bound, it's a work of the thief. When we see men lose things, when we see things are disappearing in people's lives, things of value, we know it's the work of the thief. So if you say God did it, that means God is a thief, and we know that God is not a thief. The thief cometh not but for to steal, to kill, and to destroy. "I am come that you might have life and be abundant," that's the way it is in the original.

Which means eternal life is the opposite of stealing, killing, and destruction. I repeat: eternal life, which is what God gives, is the opposite of killing, stealing, and destruction. Which means that, therefore, killing, stealing, and destruction are the works of Satan. Eternal life is the opposite. Eternal life is the nature of God. In John chapter 5 verse 26: "For as the Father hath life in Himself, so hath He given to the Son to have life in Himself." The only thing we find in God is life. So eternal life is the nature of the Father.

And Jesus said the opposite of eternal life is to steal, to kill, and to destroy. That is the opposite of eternal life. He makes that distinction clear. "I am come that you might have life and be abundant. The thief comes to steal, to kill, to destroy. I'm not the thief. So that is why I am come with the opposite of what the thief brings. I am come to give life and that you may be abundant." Glory to God.

So the nature of God is eternal life. Eternal life does not kill. Eternal life does not steal. Eternal life does not destroy. We only find that in the nature of the devil, the destroyer. In Hebrews chapter 2 verse 14: "Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same, that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is the devil." Very clearly, him that had the power of death, that is the devil.

So the devil is the one that has the power of death. He's the one that destroys. He's the one that steals. He's the one that has men in captivity. In the book of Luke chapter 10 verse 17, pay attention. When Jesus sent the disciples to go and preach, the seventy returned again with joy, saying, "Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name." The devils are subject to us. So they returned with joy, seeing they had cast out demons and healed the sick. That's why they came back with joy. They had cast out demons from people, they had healed the sick and liberated people from the bondage of the devil. So they came back with joy.

And then Jesus answered them in verse 19 of Luke chapter 10. He said, "I beheld Satan fall as lightning. Then He said, "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you." In other words, all they were doing was treading over all the power of the enemy. When they were going healing and casting out demons, they were treading over all the power of the enemy. What was the power of the enemy? Sickness, disease, and affliction. The power of the enemy is sickness, disease, and affliction.

So Jesus classified all these things under the power of the enemy. Sickness, disease, captivity, affliction, bondage are classified as the power of the enemy. So the enemy, therefore, wants you to believe that those things are happening because God is teaching you a lesson. That is the way the devil wants you to believe, so that God is blamed for what the devil does.

So Satan hides behind sickness, he hides behind bondage, he wears sickness like a mask, he wears bondage like a mask, he wears events like a mask, like a masquerade. Then he throws them at you and makes you believe that it is God that is doing it. Because the devil is a thief, and so many times thieves don't want to be caught. That's why even in the natural, when thieves come, they wear masks because they don't want to be. They are agents of their father, the devil, so they must have the same modus operandi.

So they come with a mask. He also wants you to believe that those evil things happening is because you sinned and now God is punishing you. That's what the devil wants you to believe. He believes that the evil happening is because you sinned and now God is punishing you. But we have seen in this series that the way God deals with us, or the way God corrects us, is by His word. God does not correct us with sickness, disease, evil. He corrects us through the instrumentality of His word.

In Hebrews chapter 12 verse 7 to 10, He said him whom the Father loves, He chastises. The word "chastises" means correct by instruction. The meaning of the word "chastise" or "chastises" is to correct by instruction. So question: how does God correct? Pay attention. How does God correct? Second Timothy chapter 3 verse 16. Let's see how God corrects. "All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, and for correction." So scriptures are for correction. How does God correct? God corrects us using the scriptures. God corrects us by His word, or He corrects us by the scriptures.

Every time the Pharisees did wrong in the Bible, Jesus always corrected them by the scriptures. God uses His word to correct us. God uses His word to teach us. God uses His word to admonish us, and God uses His word to instruct us. And of course, God uses His word to nurture us. The devil is an enemy of God, and death is an enemy of God. So God does not use experiences to correct us. He doesn't use our experiences to correct us. He uses His word to correct us. Therefore, since the devil is an enemy of God and death is an enemy of God, God cannot use His enemy to teach His children something. No father, no parent will use their enemy to teach their children something. So God cannot use sickness, disease, and death and Satan to raise His children or instruct or correct His children. God will use His word; God will use His love to teach you.

One day like that, they brought a lady to Jesus, a woman that was caught in the very act of adultery. Very act. They caught her red-handed. They brought her to Jesus and they said to Jesus, "The law of Moses says stone her. Jesus, what do you have to say about this woman we caught in the act?" And you know the law of Moses has condemned all under sin. So Jesus said, "Any of you that is without sin cast the first stone." Of course, the law of Moses has condemned everybody as a sinner. So nobody could put the stone. All of them one by one disappeared and left.

Jesus lifted up Himself and said to the woman, "Woman, where are those thine accusers?" Remember, He didn't call her stupid girl. He didn't call her naughty girl. He said, "Woman." He gave her back her dignity. Woman. Because God does not rob you of your dignity in correcting you. He puts your dignity intact in His correction. He said, "Woman, where are those thine accusers? Has no man condemned thee?" She said, "No, Lord." Jesus looked at her and said, "Neither do I condemn you. Go and sin no more. I am the light of the world." That's how to sin no more. "He that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life." So Jesus used the word to correct the woman. He used the word to correct the woman.

Satan wants you to have a picture that misrepresents God as the one who is angry with you. Satan wants you to have the picture of a God that is angry. God is angry. It's like those preachers who use preaching to package their anger and throw their personal anger at you as if it is God's anger. And God has no anger. Anger is a work of the flesh. God has no anger whatsoever. That's why you, you know, the devil tells you that's why your prayers are not answered because God is angry with you. That's why this or that are happening. He will try to transfer the blame for what he is doing around you on God. And because you don't know much, you don't know much since you can't see Satan, all you've got to see is that this must be God at work because he has already come behind like a masquerade hiding to carry out his evil works.

But thank God for light. When light comes, it shines and exposes darkness. Second Corinthians chapter 5 verse 18. "And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation." Next verse, pay attention. "To wit, that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them, and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation."

God is not holding men accountable for sin. Let me repeat: God is not holding men accountable for sin. Let me repeat: God does not punish people for sin. God does not punish people for sin. That's the gospel. Not holding anybody accountable for sin. God no longer imputes their sins against them. Which means God is no longer punishing people for their sins. Jesus has paid the ultimate price for sin. Jesus has been punished for everybody's sins: past, present, and future. Or better still, God no longer punishes people for sin because Jesus has paid the ultimate sacrifice.

In Romans chapter 4 verse 25, the scripture tells us: "Who was delivered for our offenses and was raised again for our justification." In Romans chapter 5 verse 8, the scripture tells us: "But God commended His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, our sin did not stop His intervention. While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." In Second Corinthians chapter 5 verse 21, the scripture tells us: "God hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him." So Jesus paid the penalty for sin on the behalf of all of humanity.

Ephesians chapter 1 verse 6 and 7: "To the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the beloved." We are accepted. "In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of His grace." We have the forgiveness of sins. God cannot be the one forgiving sins and punishing sins. We have the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of His grace. Colossians chapter 1 verse 14: "In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins."

So Jesus has paid that price. Never let the devil or anybody, in any way, or any manner, accuse you and bring condemnation towards you and subtly begin to rot his evil work around you. Because once you are in condemnation, you lack resistance. Condemnation makes you like an AIDS patient, where your defense mechanism is totally down. That's what condemnation does.

That's why Jesus said, "I have not come to condemn the world." That's why Jesus said to the woman, "Neither do I condemn you." That's why Romans chapter 8 verse 1 says, "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus." Why? Because condemnation breaks down your resistance and opens the floodgate for satanic operations in the name of you have done wrong.

Never mind the devil. The devil is a liar. He has never told the truth before. In John chapter 8 verse 44, Jesus speaking to the Pharisees said to them, "You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do. For he was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own, for he is a liar and the father of it." So everywhere he paints a picture like that to you, remember it's a lie. The devil is a liar.

The devil is the one that steals. The devil is the one that kills and destroys, which is contrary to God's eternal life. Eternal life does not kill. Eternal life does not steal. Eternal life does not destroy. In James chapter 1 verse 16, Brother James says, "Do not err, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variableness neither a shadow of turning." So God only gives perfect and good gifts. God only gives perfect and good gifts. Let's go to the book of Genesis. If you observe, everything God created was good. Everything was good such that man enjoyed the fellowship what we called of wild animals. In Genesis, man and wild animals had fellowship. There was no hostility, there was no violence. Wild animals today are as a result of the sin of Adam. Everything was good. So God is a creator of good things.

Having said that, we are now going to look at what are the limitations of the devil. What are the limitations of the devil? The devil wants you to believe some things. Like one: he wants you to believe that he knows all things. The devil wants you to believe that he knows all things. And it's a lie. If God was to, you know, if God was to stand like this with you, you and God are standing and talking, and Satan is standing around that environment and is hearing what you people are talking, he cannot understand what you're talking.

That's how dumb Satan is. That is if God and you are talking like this and Satan is standing by and hearing the conversation, he does not still understand what you people are talking. That's how dumb Satan is. Even though it's simple English you use to communicate, the devil will not understand. He is stupid and dumb. But Satan wants you to believe he knows everything, which is a lie. Don't forget he's a liar and the father of liars.

It took the wise men to go to Herod for the devil to know that Jesus was born. He didn't know. When Jesus was taken away to Egypt, Satan was so confused that he killed all the children in Israel below the age of two. At that point, they thought they had killed whoever was called the new king. Ten years after, Jesus appeared in the temple with the doctors of the law, asking questions. Yet the devil didn't know that that is the king that went to Egypt. It took John the Baptist to announce, "Behold the Lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the world." And it took John the Baptist to put Jesus in the river and the heavens open: "This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased."

It was those events that made the devil have an idea that this must be the king that we've been looking for. And the next thing you see in the Bible in Matthew 4 and Luke chapter 4 is that the next day was temptation. He was tempted. Satan was that ignorant. Now, Satan is not everywhere, and he doesn't know anything like you think. He doesn't even know what you're thinking right now. Satan doesn't even know what you're thinking right now. He gathers information like everybody. He cannot be in more than one place at one time. That's why the Bible says he moves around like a roaring lion. Satan moves around because he cannot be everywhere. He moves around; he can only be in one place at one time like a roaring lion. And for you to know that Satan doesn't know everything, he is seeking whom to devour. He is seeking because he doesn't know. He is seeking whom to devour. He moves around seeking in 1st Peter chapter 5.

It's only God that is everywhere. That's why God is called omnipresent. He doesn't have to travel. God doesn't have to travel. Satan has to travel, but God doesn't have to travel. He is everywhere at the same time, doing everything at the same time. Glory to God.

Let me also say Satan cannot create anything. Number one: he doesn't know everything, in fact he doesn't know anything. Number two: he cannot create anything. You hear some stories out there that they are creating cars under the water. They even call some babies babies from Satan. They say if women want to be pregnant, if they go to evil spirits, evil spirits can give them babies. Well, the Bible says the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof, the world and they that dwell therein. God is the only one who created. So if there's any creation under water, it is God's creation. If there's any creation on the mountain top, it is God's creation. If there's any creation on top of the shrine, it is God's creation because earth is the Lord's. All the fish in the water belongs to God. The devil cannot create anything. All he does is to pervert what God has created. All the devil does is to pervert what God has created.

God is the only creator, Elohim, the one who created all things. Genesis chapter 1 verse 1: "In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. God created." In John chapter 1 verse 2, scripture tells us: "All things were made by Him, or sorry, the same was in the beginning with God." Verse 3: "All things were made by Him and without Him was not anything made that was made." Him who? Him the Word. The Word who? The Word that was with God. The Word that was with God who? The Word that was God. The Word that was God who? Verse 14: "And the Word that was with God, which was God, became flesh, was made flesh and dwelt amongst us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth." So Jesus or God created all things. Hebrews chapter 1 verse 2, talking about Jesus, by whom He made the worlds. By whom also He made the worlds. So God made the worlds in Christ.

So the devil did not create anything. Bible tells us in Hebrews 1:3, He's upholding all things, upholding all things by the word of His power. God is upholding all things. So Satan has never created anything before. All he has done is pervert what God has already created. So he wants us to think that there are some things Satan has created. There are some things Satan has done. But Satan doesn't have the ability to create. If you're writing, write in capital letters: Satan cannot create. He doesn't have the ability to create. Satan cannot create.

So he wants you to believe all that he wants you to think, that he knows all things. But Satan knows nothing. First Corinthians chapter 2 verse 6, oh glory to God. First Corinthians chapter 2 verse 6. "Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect, yet not the wisdom of this world, nor the princes of this world that come to nought." Next verse. "But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory." I like the next verse. "Which none of the princes of this world knew." Don't miss that. "Which none of the princes of this world knew." So the rulers of this world, including Satan, don't know anything. For had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

We speak the wisdom of God in a mystery. Take note of that. Mystery means the wisdom of God is coded, coded information. Only those who have the codes can decode it. So he's talking about God's wisdom for us, which none of the princes of this world knew. For had they known it, had they known it, they wouldn't have crucified the Lord of glory. So they don't know what God said in His word. They read it, they quote it, just like the devil quoted, but doesn't understand it.

Why? Because the word of God is a mystery. A mystery to Satan, but the word of God is not a mystery to you. It's a mystery to Satan. Even if Satan is hearing us teach the word, he's not understanding anything. It's a mystery to him, but to you it is not a mystery. Mark chapter 4 verse 11: "Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God." Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God. First John chapter 2 verse 20: "But you have an unction from the Holy One and you know all things." Oh, hallelujah. You know all things. Somebody shout it very loud: "I know all things." Yeah, you have an unction from the Holy One. What is unction? Verse 27 of 1st John chapter 2. "But the anointing (unction is anointing), but the anointing which you have received." You are not going to receive it; you have received of Him, abideth in you, and you need not that any man teach you, but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things and is truth and is no lie, and even as it has taught you, you shall abide in Him.

The devil doesn't know all things. But by the presence of the Holy Spirit in you, you know all things. First John chapter 5 verse 20: "And we know that the Son of God is come and hath given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is true, and we are in Him that is true, even in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life." That we may know God. Yet the devil doesn't have that understanding. So the number one limit of the devil is knowledge. The number one limit of the devil is knowledge. He has limitations, and one of those limitations is the fact that he is ignorant. Satan is not as knowledgeable as you think.

The word of God to the devil is a mystery. And you must understand that God's plan for your life is not known to the devil. Don't miss that. God's plan for your life is not known to the devil because God's plan for your life is a mystery to the devil. Is a mystery to the devil. In First Corinthians chapter 2 verse 9: "Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him." So God's plan for your life is not known to the devil. I know you may have watched some crazy Nigerian movies where they tell you where the devil is all-powerful. That's a misrepresentation and a misinformation. I know that the devil is not near me. I know that the devil doesn't even know where to find me. Because he's afraid. He knows those he finds. Did you not read? He goes about like a roaring lion seeking. It's not everybody he's finding. There are those he's looking for.

The devil is afraid. He's not omnipresent. He doesn't know like you think he should. Let's even look at it. Simple information that Jesus went to Egypt known to Mary, known to Joseph, known to the donkey that carried him, yet Satan did not know. Even an animal has more knowledge than Satan. What a dundy. What a mumucious mumu. What an idiot. Idiot, right? Yeah, he's an idiot, capital letters. He didn't, even a donkey knew that it was carrying Jesus. Only Satan didn't know. Such information known to the shepherds that watch their flock by night, yet Satan didn't know. Shepherds knew, shepherds, yet Satan didn't know. He's not as knowledgeable as you think. He is limited by information. More importantly, the word of God is not clear to him. The word of God is not known to him. He can quote scriptures, but he doesn't know the scriptures.

The Bible talking about the Pharisees that were children of the devil, it says: "You err because you know not the scriptures nor the power of God." So he doesn't know the scriptures. Therefore, he doesn't know the plan of God for your life. Therefore, he cannot stop the plan of God for your life. Satan is limited in knowledge. Only God knows all things and in knowing all things, the Bible tells us in 1st Corinthians 6:17, it says we are one spirit with the Lord. He that is joined to the Lord is one spirit. And the Spirit of truth that guides us into all the truth dwells in us. John 16:13. The Spirit of truth dwells in us and He will guide us into all the truth. So unlike the devil, we have access to God's knowledge. We have access to God's knowledge. I mean, look at you. Many times you have word of knowledge. You have word of wisdom. And by word of knowledge and word of wisdom, you're able to speak into the future. Uh-huh. You're able to speak into the future. You can prophesy. You can speak to someone in the spirit and give them direction within God's plan. Yet the devil doesn't even come close to that. He doesn't even have an idea of that. When he tries to prophesy, we quote the scripture for him. When Satan tries to prophesy, we quote the scripture for him that his prophecy has failed. It cannot come to pass because he doesn't have access into the future. But God gives us access into the future. John 16:13: "The Holy Ghost will show you things to come. The Holy Ghost will show you things to come." Means the believer by the Holy Ghost has access into the future, and the devil doesn't have such information.

What the devil knows perfectly is the past. All the devil knows is the past. He doesn't even know the present. It's the past. He only knows things that have happened. And those are things that anybody can know by mere intelligence. So you have the word of knowledge, you have the word of wisdom, you can speak into the future, you have access into the future, you can prophesy concerning the future. You can prophesy concerning the future. The future is not a mystery to the believer. The believer can draw the future into the present, open it up, and send it ahead of him to happen. You didn't hear what I just said. The believer can pull the present, the future into the present, open it up, look into it, and release it to go forth and happen. By the prophecies that went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare, holding faith and a good conscience, which some having put away concerning the faith have made shipwreck. The believer can look into the future, pull the future into the present, open it up, and send it forth to happen ahead of him. Same way is given to you to know. It's not given to the devil.

Now, that includes God's thoughts towards you. God's plan for your life is not known to the devil because you are hid with Christ in God, and the devil cannot access Christ in God. You are hid with Christ in God, and the devil cannot access Christ in God. You know, the devil will read the story of the Rapture, yet he will not understand it. He will still fight. Jesus said about the devil that the prince of this world is judged, but he's still fighting because he doesn't understand the meaning of judged. So the word of God is a mystery to the devil.

What are the things that the devil doesn't know? Number one: he doesn't know the word of God. Number two: he doesn't know the mind of God. Number three: he doesn't know the plan of God because the plan of God is a mystery to Satan. The plan of God is a mystery to Satan. I'm blessing you tonight. But you know it's not a mystery to us, but it is a mystery to Satan. Also, when we speak in tongues, we speak mysteries. So Satan does not understand tongues when we speak them. So that way he doesn't know what we are saying. If we are discussing with God, he doesn't know what we are discussing. If God is giving us information about something, Satan is in the dark about it because the Bible says no man understandeth, howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. So Satan gets information the same way an ordinary man gets information. But tongues are a superior realm. So if I must have victory over the devil, I must speak in tongues well. I must use my advantage. I must know the things that I say, I must be wise with the things I say.

Why would Jesus keep telling the disciples, "Tell nobody, tell nobody, tell nobody"? Was he afraid? No. That was God's wisdom. Information, I have told you, is power. Information is power. Be wise with unbelievers, even if they are your siblings. Be careful with carnal Christians because a carnal Christian is a Christian with a devil. So be wise. If God can speak in a mystery, then you too ought to be wise to make sure you don't speak things plain all the time. God reveals His word only to select people. So you must use your common sense because the devil is not everywhere and the devil does not know everything. The devil is not everywhere and the devil does not know everything. The devil only knows what you tell him. The devil only knows what you tell him. He only knows the wisdom of men. The devil doesn't know beyond the wisdom of men.

So we speak wisdom among those that are perfect, not the wisdom of this world, which comes to nought, but the wisdom of God. In the book of Acts of the Apostles, some brethren came and told Paul, "You will be bound in Jerusalem." The plan was not known by the devil. Interestingly, he set it up. Satan set that whole plan up, but still he didn't know what he was doing. So the devil doesn't know as much. God's plan for your life is not known to the devil. Listen carefully. No soothsayer, no native doctor, no diviner, no sorcerer, no palm reader can see your future. They can see the future of unbelievers, but they cannot see the future of the believer because the believer and all that is around the believer is in Christ, and Christ is a mystery to the devil. It will take you to open your mouth and tell the devil what the plan of God is for your life. The same way God spoke to those wise men from the east and told them, "Don't go back to Herod." In other words, if you don't tell him, he won't know. So if you don't say these things, Satan will never know them. That's why, that's why Joseph had problems because he was talking too much. That's why in Jesus' ministry, he kept saying to his disciples, "Tell no one, tell no one." And all the twelve listened, even Judas.

You wonder why Jesus will say tell no one? I thought the devil was there. The devil was not there. Jesus kept saying tell no one the vision you have seen in Matthew chapter 17 on the Mount of Transfiguration. Tell no one. That means the devil can even be there but does not see anything. People are seeing vision, but Satan is seeing nothing. So until you tell it, then the devil gets to know. The devil doesn't have access to your future. He doesn't even have access into your present. He only knows your past by common intelligence. And in case he wants to use your past against you, because he's the accuser of the brethren, Revelation 12:10-11, when he tells you the past, tell him his future. When he tells you your past, tell him his future. Put the devil where he belongs. If he still keeps making noise, tell him there is therefore now no condemnation. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, where I am, has set me free from the law of sin and death. So don't bother wasting your time, devil. Tell him you are a complete idiot. You are a compound illiterate. You are a total bastard. If you quote scripture and he is still making noise, tell him you are an idiot. A fool idiot in capital letters. Put the devil where he belongs. He doesn't know as much as you think. You need to tell him he's an idiot so that he will know he is. He has to be told what he is.

Glory to God. Say with me: "Satan, you're an idiot. Fool idiot. That's who you are. Write it down, Satan. Tell him, Satan, write it down. Write down. Say I am an idiot. Write it down." He doesn't know the word of God. He doesn't know God's plan for your life. He doesn't know the future. Glory to God. Satan is limited. Even when we pray in tongues in our fellowship with the Father, he gets more confused. 1st Corinthians 14:2: "He that speaketh in tongues speaketh not unto men but unto God, for no man understandeth. Howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries." In 1st Corinthians 14:14, he further buttresses that: speaking mysteries. For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful. So Satan does not have access even into our prayer life. He doesn't have access into your prayer life. He doesn't have access into your communication with your Father because prayer of the Spirit is a mystery to Satan. He's limited in information. Satan is limited by what he knows. He only knows what you tell him.

Look at Ephesians chapter 4 verse 27. Somebody getting blessed tonight? Ephesians 4:27: "Neither give place to the devil. Neither give place to the devil." Some translations will say, don't give the devil a foothold. Don't give the devil a foothold. Now, let me explain that no give place, neither give place to the devil to you, the way it is put in the Greek. There's a background in the Greek, okay? When you have a city surrounded by mountains and you are guarding the city like you have borders, entry and exit into the city. Apart from the entry and exit, all other part of the city is surrounded properly by mountains. So the only way you can enter is by entry or exit, no other way because every other place is mountains. And anybody that comes in must give details: passport number, name, where are you coming from, and all that. So the policemen stay at the borders to ward off unwanted guests.

"Give no room to the devil" is like someone comes to one of those mountains, climbs the mountains to have a view of the city. Just a view. And the word here means don't even let the devil have a glimpse of the city. Don't even let him stand from afar and view the city. That's the meaning of neither give place to the devil. Don't even give him a glimpse. If you give the devil a meter, he will go a mile. He's a nuisance that must not be allowed at all. See what he did. He killed how many innocent children because of someone's foolishness. Can you imagine how it would have been if those wise men did not talk to Herod? If they just went straight? No child would have died. So you give the devil a meter, he takes a mile.

James 4:7 says: "Resist the devil, he will flee. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, he will flee from you." Say no, and the devil will flee. Just say no, and the devil will flee. And some people have built a ministry on demon, demon, demon, demon attack, and they spend years fighting Satan. They didn't only give him a room, they gave him an entire palace. We're not even permitted to give the devil a moment. Resist him. No space. Don't even give him a second. Resist him.

In 1st Peter 5:9, he says: "Whom you resist steadfastly in the faith." Resist steadfast in the faith. Resist the devil steadfast in the faith. If you can resist someone, it means you're more powerful than the person. Huh? Yeah. If you can resist the devil, it means he has no authority over you. It also means you're the one in control. So Satan is limited in knowledge, he is limited in authority. In fact, Satan is not limited in authority; he doesn't have authority. It's not an issue of limitation. He doesn't even have it. Colossians 2:15: "And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it."

Jesus spoiled principalities and powers, referring to the devil. The word "spoil" there is not English spoil where you spoil things. The word spoil there is a language of war. The word spoil was translated from the Greek word "apekdùomai", A-P-E-K-D-U-O-M-A-I, apekdùomai, which implies to lay aside, or to remove from, or to plunder. To plunder. Paul states that Jesus removed from principalities and powers. In that spoiling, number one, captives are released. Colossians 1:13: "Delivered us from the kingdom of darkness, translated us to the kingdom of His dear Son." That's the essence of the war: to deliver the captives. That's the whole essence. So in that, in that triumph, He delivered those people who were under bondage.

But He now goes on and captures all the people. He not only released them, He captures them. Now the people in that that are captured becomes the spoil of war. They're the proof that you have victory. So when the Bible says He spoiled principalities and powers, Satan and his demons are part of the spoil of war. The fact that Jesus said, "In my name you shall cast out demons," it means every demon is a spoil of war. He spoiled principalities and powers. He disarmed them; He rendered them harmless.

Second Corinthians chapter 2 verse 14. Second Corinthians chapter 2 verse 14. "Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savor of His knowledge by us in every place." Are you in this building? In every place. You are the trophy of Jesus' resurrection. You're the proof that Jesus is alive. Oh glory. Give me the AMPC of 2nd Corinthians 2:14. AMPC. AMPC. 2nd Corinthians 2:14. "But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumph as trophies of Christ's victory and through us spreads and makes evident the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere." Everywhere. He leads us in the triumphant train. What does it mean? It means that when Jesus won the ultimate victory, you were the one that was given the proof of that victory. It is as though you're the one who won the victory. So the victory actually belongs to you. The spoil of war is ours. The devil and all his demons are our property under our feet.

So Satan is limited in authority. In fact, he doesn't have authority over your life. He doesn't have authority over your life. He doesn't have authority to destroy your business. He doesn't have authority to destroy your home. He doesn't have authority to destroy your academics. He doesn't have authority to destroy your ministry. All authority in heaven and earth is given to Jesus, and Jesus has given it to His church. And you are that church. So Satan is limited in knowledge, does not have authority. Lastly, Satan is limited in presence. He cannot be everywhere at the same time. By the power of the Spirit within you, you can know things that are not happening here. You can know things that are happening in America right now. You can suddenly know what's happening in Australia just by the Spirit of God. You can also know things that are happening tomorrow. By the Spirit of God, you can have access into tomorrow's information. Angels of God are at your disposal. Amen. As you speak God's word, angels go to action. Bless the Lord, you His angels that excel in strength, hearkening to the voice of His word. Psalm 103:20. All angels are at your disposal. How many angels do we have? Hebrews 12:22: "Innumerable company of angels." The Greek says millions of millions of angels at your disposal.

So Satan is limited in knowledge, has no authority, and is limited in presence. That means it's fundamental for you to know that the devil is limited. You need to know it. And today is the last teaching on this series, Understanding Satan: Myths and the Truth. We continue with other aspects of the church of God in service, even as we trample over serpents and scorpions in carrying out the work of ministry, in establishing lighthouses, in building disciples. We trample over demons and their host. They are not an issue to the advancement of God's mandate in our hands. I didn't hear a powerful amen.

In closing, let me say, the same way he doesn't know things and it limits him, the same way when you are ignorant too, it limits you. When you too the believer are ignorant, it limits you. Ignorance must not be allowed in any Christian life. God will have all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. You must come to that knowledge. That's why Paul's prayers in Ephesians 1:17 is that you may know the hope of His calling, the riches of His inheritance. That you may know the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe according to the working of His mighty power. In Colossians 1:9 to 11, that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. In Philemon chapter 1 verse 4 to 6, brother Philemon, communication of your faith becomes effectual by the acknowledging, the word epignosis, the knowledge that you acknowledge every good thing that is in you. Oh, good things are in you. Somebody shout: "Good things are in me." Shout it very loud: "Good things are in me." I want the radio and the internet guys to hear you: "Good things are in me." I acknowledge there are only good things in me. There's nothing bad in me. Only good things. I am a trophy of Jesus' resurrection. Glory.

By the power of the Holy Spirit in you, you can know things even about the future. There is no greater thing to pray for for a believer other than knowledge. It is the word of God that you know that places limits on the devil. The word of God that you know is what fences the devil out of your environment. Look at Jesus. Jesus is God. He grew in wisdom, stature, favor with God and man. He was a perfect example of man to us, but when the devil brought temptation to Him, He kept saying, "It is written. It is written. It is written." Knowledge places a limit on the devil. Knowledge places a limit on the devil. Satan departed. Satan ran away. How do I resist the devil? How do I stand against the devil? By standing on the word of God. Standing on the word of God. Having done all to stand, stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth. It's left for you to be deliberate in knowing God's word.

Second Corinthians 11:3 and 4. But I fear lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if you receive another spirit, which you have not received, or another gospel, which you have not accepted, you might well bear with him, or you resist him. Paul gave us a warning here. Be deliberate about knowledge. Be deliberate about knowledge. Put the word of God first. The word of God first place. In every situation of your life, put the word of God first place. The word of God places a limit on Satan and his operations. So always put the word of God first place. That is the limit of the devil. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God.

Hallelujah. I said Hallelujah. You're the one in authority. Somebody shout: "I am in authority." Say it very loud. Say: "I am the one in authority. I'm in authority here. Satan is part of my spoil of war. He takes instructions and he takes command from me. Amen. I heal the sick. I cast out demons. I resist the devil, and he flees." Glory to God. Stand on your feet tonight. Glory, glory, glory, glory. Are you blessed with this series? The devil doesn't know; he's limited by knowledge. That's why he just makes noise. And we know who the thief is and we know who goes about looking for where to steal. But we resist him steadfastly. Hallelujah.

Father, I pray for everybody under the sound of my voice in this building, online, on television, on radio, all over the campuses around the world. Revelation knowledge grows big on your inside. In the name of Jesus, and we take authority over every noise of the enemy over anyone's life under the sound of my voice. Cease in the name of Jesus. Sickness and disease, cease in the name of Jesus. Harassments of darkness, cease in the name of Jesus. Oppression, depression, break off in the name of Jesus. Satan, get your hands off. Sick body, be healed. Sick body, be healed. Sick body, be healed. Sick body, be healed.

And we command barriers to collapse. Oppositions to collapse. Resistance to collapse. Every calculation and manipulation of the enemy, aborted in the name of Jesus. You trample over serpents, you trample over scorpions. The devil is falling, and all of his cohorts have collapsed, and the victory is yours right now. Where you need a miracle, receive a miracle. Crooked paths are made straight. Valleys are exalted. Mountains are dissolved in the name of Jesus. Oppression of the enemy, be broken in the name of Jesus. Get off your hands in the name of Jesus. The power of God moves. The power of God moves all over our campuses, online, on radio, on television. Receive your healing now. Receive your miracle now. Be free right now in the name of Jesus. Father, we give you praise. We give you praise. The nations are opened. The communities are opened. Our schools are opened for the advancement of the message of Christ. We receive the harvest. We bring in the harvest. The harvest of men and women, we receive and we bring in the harvest. The god of this world, you are neutralized from keeping men in captivity. Your barriers are broken in the name of Jesus.

Father, we give you praise. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Glory. Thank you, Father. It is done. In Jesus' name we pray, and every believer says that amen on a note of finality. Now you go ahead and celebrate that victory. I say celebrate that victory. Glory, glory, glory, glory. Glory to God. Glory to God. Somebody say with me: "I am in charge. I speak into the future. The devil knows nothing about my life, about my future, about the plan of God, about the purpose of God for my life. He knows nothing, and I'm not ready to give him information." Glory to God.

Somebody say: "Satan, do you want to hear what I want to do? You want me to tell you some secret?" Glory to God. The devil is confused when we speak in tongues because we speak mysteries. Glory to God. All right, grab your honor offerings. Let's give as we worship Jesus. It's morning time. Not morning in the physical, but morning in the spiritual. Glory to God. Grab your honor offerings in the house churches, campuses, and online, the banking details are scrolling. And all the house churches and campuses and all the clusters, grab your offerings we want to give tonight as we honor Jesus, the risen Lord.

Father, thank you for the privilege to give. We give with joy and our hearts are elated because of the good things you've done for us. And we rejoice that our resources advances your cause on the earth. We give you praise tonight. In Jesus' name we pray, and every believer says a powerful amen. Glory to God. We look forward to seeing everybody in prayer cruise on Saturday morning 7:00 a.m., and Sunday is going to be brutal as we continue to examine the church of God in service, why you must belong to a local church and be committed there. You don't want to miss the service. Enjoy the rest of your evening as your campus coordinators and your leaders in the house churches take over from here. Be blessed, be blessed. Let's celebrate viewers around the world for being a part of this service tonight. Glory.
