The Church of God in Service Part 39

May 13, 2026

Guest (Male): Amen. Papa, we celebrate you. We love you. Mama, we love you, and love you, and love you, and we celebrate you, Mama. Hallelujah. Amen. Amen. Thank you, Father. Papa, we thank you. We celebrate the gift of God, and we celebrate the oracles of God in your life. And so this morning, we are ready. Lift your two hands above your head, put them together with a joyful shout. Let's receive our Papa, Dr. Abel Damina.

Dr. Abel Damina: Glory, glory, glory. Oh my goodness, are you excited this morning? Are you expecting some good word this morning? Glory to God. Lift your right hands to heaven. Father, we rejoice that this morning we have this another opportunity to come before your holy, precious, written word.

Thank you that the mighty Holy Spirit lives on our inside. So we come with joy this morning, ready to receive instruction in righteousness. And we declare that as your word comes with clarity, whatever is not planted by God is rooted out. Burdens and yokes are destroyed. We rebuke sickness and disease. Sick bodies, be healed. Be healed. Be healed in the name of Jesus.

He sent his word, his word healed them, and his word delivered them from all their destruction. So we rejoice that your word works within our hearts, and by the end of this service, we'll all be the better for it. We give you praise, glory, and honor for answered prayer. In Jesus' name we pray, and every believer says a powerful amen. Glory.

Lift your right hands to heaven, let's release our faith together as we say these words. I am born of God. I am born of the word. The word of God is my nature. I do not struggle to do the word. I do the word naturally. Therefore today, I will understand the word of his grace. I will be built up. By the end of this service, I will never be the same. Never ever be the same again. In Jesus' name, and every believer says a powerful amen.

Glory. Are we excited to study the word together this morning? Can we celebrate our fellowship with a shout? Is that a shout this morning or what? Ah, that's better. That's more like a shout. I'd like you to walk around three, four, five people, shake somebody, greet somebody this morning. Make somebody happy and tell somebody, "You will be blessed because I came. You will be blessed because I came. I came so you can be blessed." Glory, glory, glory. Hallelujah.

Grab your pen, your notebook, your Bible. You can be seated with your sweet, smart self this morning as we get into the word of his grace. Let me quickly mention something that's of great importance. You know, our vision as a church is to cause men to come to the fullness of the revelation of Jesus Christ all over the nations of the Earth. We're committed to it. We know nothing save Christ and him crucified. And we want to help people come to this realization, to this truth.

So we're committed to training, equipping, evangelism, and raising an army of people all over the Earth that will carry out the heartbeat of Jesus in evangelism and raising of disciples. Now, because of this mandate, we are committed to opening lighthouses all over the nations of the Earth. Our churches are called campuses because we want people to come to church, not with the mentality of the traditional church, but with the mentality of a student.

Because the church is a teaching house. The church is a Bible school. So we open lighthouses all over the nations of the Earth. And our churches don't need to have a thousand people before they start, or even a hundred. Where two or three are gathered. So if you have a sitting room where you can help people to sit down and hear me preach in your living room, we've already started a campus. It doesn't take rocket science. And then that three, four, five people can evangelize their community and help people come to the light and settle in that place and keep studying.

If they grow and outgrow that sitting room, they can get a hall that is a bit bigger and keep training people. If they grow too much, they break into another group. Another group goes to start another one. So you don't need a budget to start a church. You don't need to raise money to start a church. You just need space. You know, even a school, even under a tree as long as it is convenient, even in a garage by the kitchen.

The important thing is where people can sit and hear the word. So if you're watching me around the world, you've been trained as a coordinator, you have finished your training, but you have not yet been allowed to start a campus. You've not yet been released to start a campus, or you've been trained, but you've been waiting for instructions on when to start a campus, but you've been trained. Or you want to be trained as a coordinator. Listen carefully.

I need you to send me an email to DrAbelDamina@yahoo.com. Indicate that I have already been trained. Let me know the location where you have been trained and make sure you put your phone number in there because I want to speak to you about something very important. All the people that have been trained that are yet to start campuses all over the world, you need to shoot that mail to me.

If you are yet to start a campus and you want to start a campus, you want to create an environment for people to learn Christ in your living room, remember, the gospel got to Africa to us through the obedience of a man called Cornelius. Cornelius in Acts chapter 10. That was the person that opened the gospel. And from Cornelius' place, it has reached all of us today. One man's obedience can liberate an entire nation. One man's obedience can liberate an entire continent.

One man's obedience can liberate an entire village. One man's obedience can liberate an entire city. And especially with what God is speaking to our hearts very seriously. You know, you want to be a coordinator, you want to be used by God to open up a lighthouse and be a beacon of hope for your society, for your community. Listen to me, friends. The only thing that will last in eternity is what you do for Christ in the lives of men through the gospel. So if you want to be trained, you just need to send me an email, DrAbelDamina@yahoo.com. Indicate "I want to be trained as a coordinator," your location, your city, your country, and you know, your phone number. I really want to reach you guys because there's a lot for us to do. The work is massive all over the nations of the Earth.

All right. Are you ready for the word of God this morning? Glory, glory, glory, glory. We've been looking at the church of God in service, and we've been examining spiritual warfare and the work of ministry. Spiritual warfare and the work of ministry. The book of Mark chapter 16, verse number 15 to 18. Mark, chapter 16, 15 to 18.

PJ: And he said unto them, "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." Next verse. "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned." Next verse. "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues." Next verse. "They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover."

Dr. Abel Damina: They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. That's what we refer to as the Great Commission. Then we see Jesus giving the same instructions through Brother Matthew. Matthew, the 28th chapter, the 18th to the 20th verse. Matthew, the 28th chapter, the 18th to the 20th verse.

PJ: And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, "All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth." Next verse. "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost." Next verse. "Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen."

Dr. Abel Damina: Even unto the end of the world. Amen. We said that one of the things he commanded is that they should cast out devils, or cast out demons, heal the sick, and even raise the dead. We have also seen that principalities and powers refer to angels. Because we've been looking at Ephesians, the 6th chapter, the 12th verse. Ephesians, the 6th chapter, the 12th verse, PJ.

PJ: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Dr. Abel Damina: So we wrestle, and the word "wrestle" means to ward off, to ward off deception, to ward off distraction, to ward off persecution. That's the word "wrestle" there. It's not WWF. It's Bible wrestle. It means to ward off distraction, deception, and to ward off the wiles of the devil. So we wrestle against principalities and powers. And that refers to angels. You also read Ephesians, the first chapter, the 18th to the 20th verse. Ephesians, chapter 1, verse 18. Not verse 1 to 20. Who is on the computer? Ephesians, chapter 1, from verse 18 to 20.

PJ: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints. Next verse. And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to usward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power. Next verse. Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places.

Dr. Abel Damina: Mighty power, which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead. Then we go to Ephesians, chapter 2, from verse 1. Ephesians, chapter 2, from verse 1 to 6.

PJ: And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Next verse. Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. Next verse. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Next verse. Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) Next verse. And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

Dr. Abel Damina: Has raised us up together, made us sit together in the heavenlies, in Christ Jesus. So the believer has been raised together with Jesus. Remember, Jesus was raised up far above all principalities and powers. Now he has raised us up together, which means we have been raised up together far above principalities and powers according to the book of Ephesians where we just read.

You know, people oftentimes are presented with a picture of somewhere in the clouds. Somewhere when we say the prince of the power of the air, they think the demons are in the sky, in the clouds, you know? But the scriptures doesn't teach that. It says the rulers of the darkness of this world. The rulers of the darkness. They rule in the dark domain of this world. This world means this age, amongst people.

So demons are always found among people. Where angels is, is where demons are. And all angels were assigned to serve man, to serve Jesus and to serve man. So spiritual wickedness in high refers to people who govern people. That governance is by that spiritual wickedness. And it's not referring to somewhere in the clouds because actually, nothing happens in the skies, other than the skies are there with the stellar heavens as part of God's creation and as part of what makes this planet, this planet.

But Satan moves around men looking for whom to devour. First Peter, chapter 5, verse number 8. First Peter, chapter 5, verse number 8.

PJ: Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.

Dr. Abel Damina: He walketh about seeking whom. So Satan is not in the sky. He's where human beings are because he is on a search for a prey. He's looking for whom to devour. Demons cannot operate on Earth fully until a man makes his body available for them to operate through. Because this planet is not created for spirit. It's created for human beings. So demons are always looking for who will make himself available for them to inhabit. Who will make himself available for them to work with.

So the devil goes about seeking whom to devour. He works in and among people. Ephesians, chapter 2, verse 1 to 3: "Wherein we walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the spirit, the spirit that now worketh in the children." So that spirit of this world is at work in the children of disobedience. Then the Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians chapter 4, put it up. 2 Corinthians chapter 4, verse 3 to 4, that the devil goes about blinding the minds of men. Read for me.

PJ: But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Dr. Abel Damina: He goes around blinding men's minds from understanding the gospel. He goes around making sure people are blinded to the truth that is in Christ. Because he has to rule in darkness. The gospel is light. The entrance of God's word bringeth light. So the devil will make sure he blinds men's eyes so that they would not embrace the light of the gospel, which renders his kingdom useless and renders his dominance over people useless.

He will make sure they don't come to a church where they teach them the truth. Satan will allow thousands and millions of people to troop to a church where no truth is taught them, where no light is given to them, where they are taught that they are still in bondage, where they are taught that Satan is very powerful, where they can be asked to fast 100 days, 200 days and just be praying like children of Baal. They don't know their left from their right. Satan will encourage people to go to that kind of place because in that kind of place, he cannot be restricted from accessing the people.

But a church like this, Satan will fight because everyone that enters here becomes a liberator of thousands. So he will try to blind, to hinder people. He will use all kinds of schemes. He will use blackmail. He will use misinformation. He will use stories. He will use all kinds of things to ward people away from coming to hear what we have to preach.

So we too are engaged. We engage the minds of those people in a warfare. The warfare is the preaching. And as we're preaching with strength, with power, and by the power of prayer, people eventually begin to see what we're preaching. And then suddenly, what is holding them down releases them. They embrace what we preach. They understand, and they regret all the time they have wasted not paying attention to what we teach. I don't know if you understand. That's how the devil's schemes and strategies and the network of darkness operates.

Satan is not looking for how to use your village to stop you from progressing. No. If there's anything the devil is after, it is to hinder people from the gospel. So when you hear "warfare," it's not about you making money or not making money. Warfare is in the preaching of the gospel. The preaching of the gospel.

Because somebody said, "You know, the devil's been fighting me from the village because he knows if I make money, I will use it to support the work of God." I said, "Look at you. Satan's fighting you from the village? He has not fought an unbeliever who doesn't know Christ. It's you that know Christ that Satan is after, fighting you." If there's anything the devil wants, it's to stop the plan of God from the beginning of time. So the devil's greatest war is to fight the gospel, to fight the preaching of the gospel, and to fight everyone who is dedicated to the preaching of the gospel.

Look at it. He goes around seeking for whom to devour. Number two, he blinds the minds of men from the truth that is in the gospel. So the operations of Satan, don't be looking for one Spiderman flying around the universe. No, Satan is not in any Spiderman. That's a jobless demon. Besides the fact that they don't fly around.

The fact of the matter is that they move around people. They work in and through people. When you read about "high places," it's talking about people. And Brother Paul said, "We wrestle not against human beings, flesh and blood sacks, human beings." Which means we will see flesh and blood, but they are not necessarily flesh and blood. So we will see the operations of Satan through flesh and blood, but it is not the flesh and blood that is operating. There's an invisible operator behind the scenes that is carrying out his strategies through flesh and blood.

For example, Brother Paul said, "I fought with the beast of Ephesus." Now, 1 Corinthians 15:32. PJ, read for me. 1 Corinthians, chapter 15, verse number 32. 1 Corinthians 15:32.

PJ: If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die.

Dr. Abel Damina: If after the manner of men I have fought with the beast of Ephesus. Now, you would think there's an animal that fought him. No, he just used a figure of speech to explain the way men fought him. So in explaining the kind of fight that men used in fighting him, the only intensity that he could use to give you a figurative explanation is that "I fought with the beast of Ephesus."

That means men attacked him like beasts. He engaged them like you will engage an animal in a fight. Which means, it's not the men that are fighting. The devil just veils behind men and uses men. That's why the fight is like beasts because it's not a realm of men's fight. The fight is not in the realm of men. It's spirit. But the spirit is using a man. But the way the man is operating, natural men cannot fight like that. So I fought with the beast of Ephesus.

You'll also see another one, 2 Timothy, chapter 4, verse 14, where Brother Paul was talking about these principalities and powers in his advancement of the gospel. Read for me.

PJ: Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works:

Dr. Abel Damina: Somebody said, "You know, when you preach the gospel, don't call people's names." See somebody's name. If you preach nonsense, I will call your name and blast you. See somebody's name: Alexander the coppersmith. This is Brother Paul speaking. Did me much evil. The Lord reward him according to his works. It's not a wicked prayer. It's not a wicked prayer.

You know, some years ago, somebody did ministry along with me. And then he now said God has asked him to go and start his own, I should pray for him and bless him. So I told him to kneel down. I said, "Father, the way he served in this place, raise people exactly to serve like him." He said, "Ah!" I said, "What?" He said, "No now." I said, "You don't like the way you served?" He said, "No now." I said, "No, no, no. Father, give him exactly people like him in multiplied proportion. Ah! Exactly. The same way you served, since you're going to start your own, the same way you served us, may everybody around you be like you."

Haba, it's a good prayer now. Don't you like that kind of prayer? Because when you really serve sincerely, you will want people like you. It's only a wicked person that wouldn't. But that prayer is it a wicked prayer? Exactly. May God, kebatalaba, may God multiply you for you. Ah, if it's me, I will shout amen like thunder because I want people like me to serve around me. So every time you're serving people, ask yourself, "If I am having people like me serve me, will I like the service?" If not, you're already doing wrong. You need to make adjustments. Am I teaching good here?

Read on, read on for me. Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil. The Lord shall pay him according to his works. Put it up. Next verse. Next verse, next verse, next verse, save our times, studio. Verse 15. 2 Timothy, chapter 4, verse 15.

PJ: Of whom be thou ware also; for he hath greatly withstood our words.

Dr. Abel Damina: Did you see why Paul said be aware of him? Because he's an opposition to the gospel. Be careful of him. He is not for the gospel. He withstood what we're teaching. Be careful. Next verse.

PJ: At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge.

Dr. Abel Damina: So you see, he went through a lot of persecution. But watch the next verse.

PJ: Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

Dr. Abel Damina: "I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion." Question: which lion? Alexander the coppersmith and people like him. Paul called them lions. "The Lord stood with me, he strengthened me, and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion." So it's not demons looking like lions. It's a figure of speech to explain the intensity of the persecution, and the intensity of the distraction, and the intensity of the opposition that came against him as a result of the work of ministry. If it's getting clear, can I have a good amen?

So when Paul begins to talk about principalities and powers, he is talking about fallen angels. We're referring to fallen angels. And we're going to look at how they work and how they will always require human cooperation in their operations. Just like the demons Jesus spoke about in Matthew, chapter 12, who leaves, goes around, and says, "I will go back to my house."

So you can see that there has to be a human cooperation. Then he comes and finds the place swept and ready to be inhabited. So there must be cooperation from the man. Demons don't just pounce on people anyhow. Demons don't just go around and be jumping on people. No, he goes about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. So demons must have a man's cooperation. They must have a man agree with them to be able to operate through him. They seek for human cooperation.

And we're going to see how that works. So let's begin to examine the believer. Because what Jesus said is, "Believers cast out demons." And I told you, resisting the devil is not the same with casting out devils. They are two different things. Please, don't miss that. Resisting the devil is different from casting out demons. Believers will cast out demons, but it is different from resisting the devil. Standing against the wiles of the devil is not casting out demons. Standing against the wiles of the devil is not casting out demons.

It's a believer, or as a believer, you resist the devil. As a believer, you stand against the wiles of the devil. As a believer, having done all to stand, you stand against the wiles of the devil. As a believer, you are sober. You are vigilant. You are sober. You are vigilant because you know you have an adversary the devil that is always looking for the least opportunity to take advantage of you.

So therefore, you are very, very vigilant, and at the same time, you are sober. Now, a lot of times, Satan functions through principalities and powers. Spiritual wickedness in high. You know, King James calls it "high places," but actually the original is "spiritual wickedness in high," not places, okay? In high. They persecute you, seeking to torment you in the advancement of God's purpose, in carrying out the will of God on the Earth.

All right. So in Brother Paul's case, look at what Paul said when he was talking about, you know, the messenger of Satan buffet me, the thorn in the flesh. 2 Corinthians chapter 12, from verse 1. 2 Corinthians 12, from verse 1, PJ. Just read. Let's see how it, where we stop.

PJ: It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord. Next verse. I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. Next verse. And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) Next verse. How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter. Next verse. Of such an one will I glory: yet of myself I will not glory, but in mine infirmities. Next verse. Pay attention. For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me to be, or that he heareth of me. Next verse. And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. Next verse. For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. Next verse. And he said unto me, "My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness." Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Dr. Abel Damina: "Most gladly therefore will I glory in my infirmities." So the thorn in the flesh was the infirmities that befell him by persecution. Thorn in the flesh is not sickness and disease. Thorn in the flesh is not demonic oppression or demonic depression. No, the thorn in the flesh of Paul was persecution that came from other human beings that Satan was veiling himself with and using them to fight the ministry of Brother Paul.

In fact, you will see further explanation to that context in 2 Corinthians 11, the pretext of that context. 2 Corinthians 11:23, PJ. Let's see what Paul meant by a thorn in the flesh.

PJ: Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft.

Dr. Abel Damina: Did you see that? In labors more abundant, in stripes above measure. They were beating Paul all over the place. In prisons more frequent. In deaths often, that is, his life was jeopardized over and over for the gospel. This is all for the gospel. Everything we're teaching here is for the preaching of the gospel, for ministry. Next verse, PJ.

PJ: Are they ministers of Christ?

Dr. Abel Damina: No, no. Next verse. Next verse, 24. 11:24.

PJ: Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one.

Dr. Abel Damina: That is, they beat him 39, 39 koboko for like five times. Next verse.

PJ: Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned...

Dr. Abel Damina: Wait, wait. Beaten with what? Iron rods, okay? Go ahead.

PJ: ...once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep;

Dr. Abel Damina: The "deep" means inside ocean. Inside ocean like a diver. Okay. Next verse.

PJ: In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;

Dr. Abel Damina: Among false brethren. Yes.

PJ: In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.

Dr. Abel Damina: Wait. This fastings is not fasting to seek the Lord. It's hunger. No food. In fastings often, that is, he kept going without food, not because he desired to fast, but the food wasn't there because of circumstances. And all this is for the same ministry that all of us are called to do. Okay. Read on, PJ.

PJ: In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness. Next verse. Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches.

Dr. Abel Damina: Plus the care of all the churches that he was overseeing. Next verse.

PJ: Who is weak, and I am not weak? who is offended, and I burn not? Next verse. If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things which concern mine infirmities. Next verse. The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I lie not.

Dr. Abel Damina: That is, what I'm telling you, I'm not exaggerating. God knows I lie not. Next verse.

PJ: In Damascus the governor under Aretas the king kept the city of the Damascenes with a garrison, desirous to apprehend me: Next verse. And through a window in a basket was I let down by the wall, and escaped his hands.

Dr. Abel Damina: That is, they carried me inside a basket and threw me through the window, and I escaped for my life. All this for the preaching of the gospel. So these are the things that Paul said, "a messenger of Satan was sent to buffet me." This is the messenger of Satan here. All these situations that Satan kept throwing at Paul: persecutions, trials, human attacks, all kinds of things to stop the advancement of the gospel.

So that's what it means by the messenger of Satan working through men to hinder Paul. That is the thorn in the flesh. Men made it difficult for Brother Paul to do ministry. So the last time someone was following Paul, if you read clearly, it was Acts chapter 16. A lady that was going around saying, "These men be the men of the Most High, which show us the way of salvation." And then Brother Paul rebuked the demon. The demon left the girl, and the next thing Paul found, he was in prison for casting out demons.

He was in prison. You know, Brother Shambach said when they started ministry some years ago in America, they were taken to prison for healing the sick without license. That back then, if you pray for somebody to be healed, you must have a license for praying for people to be healed. Back in the days. You know, but things have gotten better. Praise the Lord. I said, "Praise the Lord."

So Satan, the messenger of Satan, was sent to buffet Brother Paul. Now, so to buffet means someone who comes after you to discomfort you. Someone who comes after you to discomfort you. So you see that afflictions come from the devil. You just take a stand. In casting out demons, you cast out demons from people that are possessed. The believer is the one that casts out demons from people. The believer does not have demons cast out of him.

The believer is the one that casts out demons. But in resisting the devil, the believer resists the devil from his own life. But he casts out demons out of somebody that is possessed. But in the life of the believer, the believer resists the devil for his life. The believer is sober, is vigilant for his life. The believer, having done all to stand, remains standing for his life. I don't know if you understand. That's the difference. They are two different things.

"Cast out devils" is the believer carrying out the ministry of Jesus. And in casting out devils, you don't pray and say, "Oh, Father, oh, Lord, come down and manifest your power." No, the demons will know that you are an idiotis. They will not listen. They know that in casting them out, you must know your authority. And if you know your authority, you don't talk to the Father to come down and do it. You tell them, "You unclean spirit, out in the name of Jesus!"

And you are not scared. You're not afraid. If you are afraid, they know you're afraid because they will hear it in your voice and they will see it in your body language. So you must know your authority, stand in your authority, and speak to the devils directly, and they will obey you. Say with me, "I cast out demons, and they obey me because I know who I am in Christ Jesus." I didn't hear a good amen.

So the believer will preach the gospel. The believer will heal the sick. The believer will cast out demons. But the believer will also stand and resist the devil for his life. The believer will take a stand against the devil for his life. The believer is sober, he's vigilant. He knows the devil goes about seeking whom he may devour. So he's sober and vigilant for his life. These are two different things.

Number one, when he comes for you, he cannot possess you. He can hardly oppress you. But he can persecute you through people. When Satan comes for you, he cannot possess you. He can hardly oppress you. But he can persecute you through people. Demons can create problems for you, no matter how careful you are. They can create problem for you. They can create false accusations for you. False accusations. They can create a story around you that does not exist. All is demonic activity. Are we teaching good?

And the Bible says with that, you resist him steadfastly in the faith. Don't go out of the faith to engage Satan. Don't be tempted to go out of the faith. Stay in the faith, and in that faith, resist him. He may go around making noise and creating more stories, but when you've resisted him, the root has dried up. All that noise will soon go as if it never came.

It's like you cut the neck of a chicken and the chicken is doing pah, pah, pah, pah, pah, and everybody turns. The chicken is no more alive. So when you have rebuked the devil and resisted the devil, sometimes that is when the problem becomes amplified. Because the devil has already left the environment, and he left with a big bang.

So you see things shifting. Now, if you don't know who you are, you start panicking. And you start panicking, and you may end up even going back to bring the devil's onslaught against you again. But when you stand, having done all to stand, stand. When the noise is rising, don't be perturbed. In fact, that is when to look for a cup of tea and biscuit. That is when to play a powerful worship song and lift up holy hands, giving God praise, knowing that when you resisted the devil, the devil took off in terror.

Teaching good? So don't panic. Sometimes you pray and rebuke a particular sickness, then it looks like the sickness just started. No, it didn't start. The devil is leaving with a noise. Don't be terrified by that complication. Maintain your stand. Having done all to stand, stand. No, no, glory to God. No, no. It's done. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Healing has taken place. Glory to God. Zipatokata. So shall my word be that goes out of my mouth. It shall not come back void, but accomplish what you please. You maintain your stand. And after a while, all the noise is gone.

Teaching good? You've got to learn to stand as a child of God. You've got to learn to stand in the midst of affliction. You've got to learn to stand in the midst of storm. You've got to learn to stand when all hell breaks loose. You've got to learn to stand, having done all to stand. So you steadfastly resist the devil in the faith.

And that's why you must feed on God's word. That's why you've got to be strong in the Lord, not strong in your connections. Be strong in the Lord. Not strong in your strategies. Be strong in the Lord. That is the power of his might. And that's why as a child of God, you must feed on God's word so that you are strengthened with might by his spirit in the inner man.

You must feed your spirit the word of God because there is an evil day. You must feed your spirit against the evil day. When you're well-fed, even when you go through the evil day, you're not aware. It is people that are watching that will say, "Ah-ah, see the kind of thing he went through." You won't feel it because you are fortified.

Can you imagine a man that is into bodybuilding who has built his body, carried irons, carried all kinds of things. Used motorcycle on one hand and another one to do bodybuilding. Such that when you beat him with iron, it's like you're pouring water on his body. Then his wife now gets angry and wants to beat him. Do you know that when the wife is slapping him, it is like she's rubbing his body and saying, "I love you, darling"? He's not going to feel it because the stamina he has built and the muscles he has built has withstood more dangerous pressure than the slap of his wife.

So when she's slapping him, he's smiling. He can just grab her like this and even help her to slap him. Come, bring your hand. Pah! He turns the whole thing to comedy because all of the wife's efforts will not impact on this body that has been built. When you build your spirit man with the word of God and you fortify your spirit, every effort Satan is doing is like he's telling you, "Congratulations. Congratulations."

When you feel it, it's because you've not built enough stamina, so you're feeling the impact. That's why when you build up your spirit man, the Bible says "a man's spirit shall sustain his infirmity, but a broken spirit, who can bear?" That's why the time you spend sitting down here to hear me teach for hours, sometimes you're tired, you're shifting, I'm not bothered because I'm feeding your spirit man against the evil day.

I'm preparing you for the future. I'm building your immunity, I'm building your resistance, I'm building your capacity and capability. So that when pressures of life come, when satanic onslaught is unleashed on you, you weather the storm. You go through like you never went through. I feel like I'm teaching this morning.

My son, attend to my words. Incline your ears to my sayings. Let them not depart from your eyes. Keep them in the midst of your heart, for they are life to those that find them and health to all their flesh. You've got to build yourself, building up your most holy faith. Pray in the Holy Ghost. Come for prayer cruise and spend those hours building capacity and stamina against the evil day. So that having done all to stand, you stand. Not that you fought for them, when it was time to stand, you lie down flat.

"O Lord deliver me. O Lord deliver Daniel. O Lord deliver Daniel, why can't you deliver me?" That's a man that is giving up. He's calling Daniel. Ah-ah, Daniel today? But he's so, he's so finished that anything he can handle, he's just pulling on straws. But when you have stamina, the devil throws it at you, you adjust. All things just fall off as if nothing happened. You bounce your head. You square your shoulder. You say, "Thank you, Lord." Satan will say, "Whoop! Demons, relocate, relocate. Wrong target, wrong target." Did you see the way he moved? This guy, this guy has something against all of us. Let's get out of here.

The devil knows those who know how small he is. He knows them. He knows them. In their body language, in their speech, he knows. He knows. So Satan can bring problems. You've got to stand in the Lord and in the power of his might, feed on the word of God. Then in Mark 16:15, he talks about the believer's authority. And the believer's authority is "in my name." That's the believer's authority, in my name. In the believer's authority, you shall cast out demons. To cast out demons means to expel. It's to ask them to leave. To cast out demons means to ask them to vacate. It deals with the believer's authority over demons.

It deals with the believer's authority over demons. And we began to talk about demons, and we began to look at possession, and we began to look at oppression, and we began to look at depression. Possession is when the devil takes a complete, total control of a man: spirit, soul, and body. That's possession. Okay. And that happens to a man that is not born again. But even in demonic possession, a man must cooperate with Satan to give Satan a control of his life.

But there's demonic oppression. Jesus calls sickness an oppression of the enemy. In Acts 10:38, how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and power, who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed. So there's an oppression of the devil, healing those that were oppressed of the devil.

So we began to look at sickness and disease last week, and we saw a number. If you were not here in the second service of last Sunday and Wednesday service, because I began to deal with the mind on Wednesday, and I'm going to do some work on what we call the belief system in the second service. It will change your life. You don't want to miss it at all. So when we talk about dealing with sickness and disease, we saw how demons get involved with sicknesses and diseases.

Now, let's also see another area of demonic oppression, demonic oppression and demonic possession. There was a man called Judas Iscariot. Read for me, Luke chapter 22, verse 1 to 5, PJ. Luke 22, verse 1 to 5.

PJ: Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover. Next verse. And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people. They feared the people. Next verse. Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.

Dr. Abel Damina: Then entered Satan into Judas. That's demonic possession. Judas was born again, but he lost salvation. Born again where? He can't be born again and Satan entered him. Satan entered Judas. Total takeover. But don't forget, Satan entered Judas with Judas's consent. PJ, read on. Verse 4.

PJ: And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them. Next verse. And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.

Dr. Abel Damina: He was the one that went to meet people and negotiate how to sell his master. And they were glad because now Satan has entered him. Now watch, it's no more Judas that is selling Jesus. It is Satan using Judas as a veil to sell Jesus. Because Satan didn't know that Jesus was Jesus. Because Corinthians tells us, "Had the princes of this world known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory." So because they didn't know, they facilitated the death. They didn't know that in that death will be the freedom of mankind.

And Judas became the ally, the partner that will be used. So Judas came back from that negotiation meeting and joined worship service. Came back, joined prayer cruise. But Satan had entered. So all he was doing now, he was doing it with an intent. Him coming to prayer meeting had an agenda. Him coming to worship service, there was an agenda. Him being around the church was an agenda.

The agenda was to know the itinerary of Jesus and to know what announcement Jesus would make as per where meetings will happen within the week, so he will have a proper information to sell to those people that will pay him to carry Jesus. They were afraid of carrying him in public because of the people, so they had to find a corner where he will go to, where they will go and pick him without causing the anger of the people in the land.

Pay attention. Now, that means Satan had entered Judas. And that is why you find out that after he has sold Jesus, he was sorrowful. Why was he sorrowful? Eh? The purpose have been achieved, so Satan gave him some breathing space to recover his brains. Now he's sad because this is not what I wanted to do. All I wanted was how I can get some money. But in the bid to get the money, I have sold my master. He was very sorrowful. That means he had given over to the devil the control of his will.

And the reason was because first of all, he was a habitual thief. Judas was a habitual thief. So demonic possession or demonic oppression will happen in the area of your habits that you do not arrest. Habits. Judas was a habitual thief. Thomas was in unbelief. Now, the question will be, how did they know that Judas was a thief? John chapter 13, verse 12, PJ. John chapter 13, verse number 12.

PJ: So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down, he said unto them, "Know ye what I have done to you?" Next verse. "Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am." Next verse. "If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet." Next verse. "For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you." Because of time, verse 27. 13:27, John.

PJ: And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, "That thou doest, do quickly."

Dr. Abel Damina: After they have eaten together, washed their feet and all that, Satan entered into him. And Jesus said unto him, "What thou doest, do quickly." Next verse.

PJ: Now no man at the table knew for what intent he spake this unto them.

Dr. Abel Damina: Do you know that until Judas sold Jesus, no disciple knew that Judas sold Jesus? Nobody knew that Judas sold Jesus. They just thought it was a coincidence that they picked Jesus. It was after Judas now returned the money and killed himself that the others discovered that it was Judas that sold Jesus. He was very masterful in his operation. He was a skilled thief. Very skilled. They didn't know. None of them knew. That means he ate the Passover with them and later killed himself.

Only Jesus and the people who carried Jesus knew that it was Judas. So it was a covert operation of demonic influence. Now, that's number one. Number two, you must also realize that when you see people that are always good in betraying people, demons are involved. People that always betray, always betray. Betrayal is a symptom of demonic activity. People betray trust, people betray loyalty, people betray commitment, people who like to betray. Betrayal is just a trademark. They don't have a touch of loyalty in their lives. There's demons around such people. It's not ordinary, there's demons, just like Judas Iscariot.

Now, some utterances are also influenced by demons. Some utterances. Matthew 16:23, Peter's case. Read for me. Matthew 16:23.

PJ: But he turned, and said unto Peter, "Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men."

Dr. Abel Damina: There are some utterances people make around you, you should be able to detect that Satan is speaking. This cannot be God. Utterances. Jesus turned and said, "Get thee behind me, Satan." Was Peter Satan? No. But Peter was the veil that Satan was hiding behind to speak using Peter's vocal cords to Jesus. So Satan can use people's vocal cords to speak to you.

So you must be able to know when Satan is speaking and when God is speaking, and when a man is speaking. You must be able to discern. There are times Satan will just use a man's voice to say things to you that when you look at this person, with the things you know about God, you can't be saying what you're saying. There must be somebody influencing you.

And that's a time you say, "Satan, stop that in the name of Jesus! My brother come, you will never be used against me." That's the time you take authority. You open fire. Because you can see that there's a personality at work, and this brother or sister was not sober, was not vigilant. So they made themselves available for Satan to use their voice to speak against the purpose of God in your life.

Jesus said, "Get thee behind me, Satan. Thou savourest not the things of God." What did Peter say that was that offensive? "You will not die." Uh-uh. The only reason why I came is to die. How dare you say I will not die? Satan, get thee behind me.

Now, honey, do you realize, few hours before "get thee behind me, Satan," Jesus said, "Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona. Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father in heaven." Few minutes after that, "Get thee behind me, Satan." Jesus was very, very spiritually alive. He could pick up these signals. The same person that spoke by the spirit of God spoke by the spirit of the devil.

So a child of God can be oppressed, can be depressed, can be influenced by the devil to speak. So you must not take people's utterances for granted. When people are speaking, you must discern what they are saying. And you must take authority where you need to take authority. Now, there are some people you cannot look at them and tell them, "Get thee behind me, Satan," because they will sack you from the office. And you'll be jobless and may not have food to feed your family.

So when they finish speaking and you walk out, walk into the toilet straight. "Satan, I heard you clearly in the name of libatobadakamishakabrahaboska. I reverse those words. You lack the ability to carry it out in the name of Jesus! I bind you and I command you to desist in your operations. Thank you, Father. Praise you, Lord. I trample over serpents and scorpions. Nothing in this office shall by any means hurt me."

Don't just laugh and say, "Well, he is always annoyed. My boss is always annoyed. When he is annoyed, he just talks anyhow." No, that talk is not anyhow. That talk will fire you from that office. You better work in somewhere and contain the matter and put an end to it. Did I say something? Or somebody speaks to you in a way that his words came like knife: stab you, stab you, stab you, stab you, stab you and made you almost lose faith in yourself. When you leave the place, don't be quiet. Remove all the arrows. Clear yourself. Speak to yourself. Speak to yourself. "These words are not a true definition of me. These words don't define who I am. In the name of Jesus, I refuse to come under the influence of those words. I speak what God says about me. I am what God says." You recover yourself.

Because if you don't, there are certain words the devil strikes you with like arrows that can create a platform for depression. They can create a platform for depression, and you don't want to tilt into depression. Because that will give the devil an opportunity over you. So you flush them out. You recover yourself. In patience, you possess your soul. Yeah, you possess your soul. Teaching good this morning?

Words. Words are very critical. Words are critical. Don't take words for granted. And like I've said, don't be rude to people, but also don't be stupid and don't allow people redefine you contrary to what the scriptures define you to be. Glory to God. Look at the way James talks about, you know, about another area of demonic influence: the tongue, just like I'm talking about words. Words come from thoughts. Don't miss that. Words come from thoughts. And thoughts come as words. Thoughts come as words and words come from thoughts. So when thoughts stay in you, they become words or they come out of you as words.

So if you come to the book of James, you will see the use of words: very important. James 3:13-15, PJ. James, chapter 3, verse 13 to 15.

PJ: Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. Next verse. But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. Next verse. This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

Dr. Abel Damina: So there is a wisdom that does not come from above, but that wisdom is earthly, is sensual, and is devilish. Now, the word "sensual" means a thing of the flesh. It's of the flesh. It's earthly. It's of the flesh and is of the world. This wisdom is not from above. Is sensual, is earthly. And anything that is sensual and earthly is devilish. Anything that is sensual and earthly is devilish. There's a demonic influence behind it.

This wisdom there, what is the wisdom? Read for me the next verse, PJ, the next verse. James 3:15 first, then 16. James 3:15 then 16. Yes.

PJ: This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

Dr. Abel Damina: Which wisdom is earthly, sensual, and devilish? Look at it here.

PJ: For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

Dr. Abel Damina: For where envying and strife is, there is confusion. And confusion will come with every evil work. I mean every, every and any evil work under the sun will manifest in the midst of confusion, which is a product of this wisdom, which comes out of envy. Envy and strife. You know strife? You know strife? Eh? Strife. Quarrelsomeness. Some of you are very quarrelsome. You quarrel with everything and everybody. Quarrelsomeness. Where you are quarrelsome, you have strife. You are capable of creating confusion that gives the devil power to produce every amount of evil work.

Don't forget, Satan will never operate without human contribution. Humans must cooperate. So where there's envy, envy. You are never contented with what you have. You're always eyeing, eyeing what somebody has. That's devilish. That is devilish. You envy people, you wish them evil. You say, "That car that he just bought, let him have accident. As he's driving, let the tire just pull out." All is envy.

As a child of God, you cannot afford envy. Apart from that, it's a work of the flesh. It is a breeding ground for the devil. It's earthly, it's sensual, is devilish. When you see things are well with somebody and you feel like being envious, defeat the envy, go and celebrate him. Go and celebrate him. Punish the envy. Carry the envy with you to a congratulatory party, and when you go there, celebrate him well. The envy will die.

Don't fertilize the envy by staying away and look for other people around that are like you, and all of you form a colony of lepers. Because that's leprosy. All of you get out. "Hmm, the car is not even fine. Hmm, this kind of car they say the fuel tank used to bust. Hmm, this kind of car they say the exhaust used to fall out. Hmm, this kind of car is always overheating. That's why I don't like the brand. Is it not Mercedes? Mercedes have lost their glory long ago." Who told you? Are you the glory of Mercedes or are you the glory barometer? They have visited you from the village. Run oh.

Don't be envious. Say, "Ah, she just married. Marriage is don't last nowadays." Thunder fire your head. Say, "Ah, oh, she just born picking? Ah-ah, children they become arm robbers." Where there is envy, there is strife and confusion that will produce every evil work.

As a child of God, you can't afford that. Having done all to stand, you have to stand. Don't do all to stand and become Satan's breeding ground. Confusion and every evil work. Which means we will see the evil work of the enemy and the confusion of the enemy and the wisdom of Satan in fleshly habits, fleshly habits, sensual habits. Something that appeals to your old man. You know old man? Not your father oh. Your old man.

"The time I have spent for the old man is enough. Now I live for Jesus forever." The old man. That old man. The man you used to be before you became a new creature in Christ is called the old man. The man that died when you met Christ. You can't afford to be romancing his habits in your new home. That man is dead. Reckon him dead. Recognize that that man died, and he died long ago. The time you spent for him is enough.

Now it's time to live for Jesus. The time I have spent for envy is enough. Now I live for Jesus forever. The time you spent quarreling, quarreling, creating wahala all over, is enough. No salary, no retirement benefits. Why continue to carry it forward? The flesh profiteth nothing.

Something that appeals to the flesh. Something that is earthly. It begins by someone saying something to you. Then it appeals to your heart, and then you begin to speak it out. The book of Galatians 5 talks about the works of the flesh where you begin to act contrary to who you are. Then it talks about something there that is of great importance. It is called lasciviousness. Lasciviousness means brake failure. Your brake failed. Lasciviousness means no control. It means looseness. It deals with losing control. No barriers, no boundary. You live loose. Anything and everything goes. A child of God must never have things you cannot do without.

Listen carefully. There must be nothing in your life in this world that you cannot do without. Don't have habits that cannot be controlled. They become a cheap, a cheap prey for the devil in your life. When you cannot eat, when you cannot control eating habits, Satan is at the door. When you find out you cannot control eating habits. Once you see food, you forget your father's name. They will ask you, "What is your surname?" "Uh..." You've forgotten because of a bowl of eba. Once you see food and coke, every secret they have told you before, you vomit it.

How many of you know that people like that? You can't trust them with. "What if you don't want anybody to hear something, don't tell them. Even if you say 'I swear nobody will hear it', ah, they are just telling you 'I swear everybody will hear it'." There are people like that. Their mouth is Satan's gate to people's lives. And some of you, that's why you fight unnecessary battles. Because you have a big mouth. You inform everybody about plans, about things you want to do. And through those people, Satan gets to know.

Then he now sets men to frustrate it. He will set men. Honey, do you realize that the birth of Jesus, that was God's plan for man, nobody knew it? When he showed up, nobody knew he had shown up. Nobody knew Jesus was born. "Uh-uh, I thought God will announce it everywhere so that the whole world will gather to celebrate the birth." No, yo! Because he will be born as a baby and he can be killed.

He can be killed before the time. How many times did they try to kill him before the time? God made sure nobody heard. The only people that heard were wise men. And the wise men didn't even know the place. There was a star that led them. And on their way, as if God... well, I can't say as if God because he is God so he must have known. When they got to the house of Herod, the star stopped. The star did not lead them any further.

When they entered Herod's house, the star didn't move. It stopped there waiting to know what the discourse would be, to know whether to take them there or to take them back. Since the star was what they were following. Herod told them, "When you go, come back and tell me." Okay. So when they came out, the star brought them to where Jesus was.

That night, God told Mary, "This baby must go to Egypt." Then God told those wise men, "Don't go back. Continue the journey." Why? Doesn't want God want people to know? You talk too much. You that have been battling with miscarriage, finally the pregnancy stayed, two, three months, you call national party. Then you start bleeding again. You say, "I don't understand, last night I'm seeing spot, spot, spot. Now it has gone beyond spot, it is like urine, urine."

That doesn't mean you shouldn't live in fear. I mean you should live in fear, but it means you should be discrete. You should be circumspect. You should be wise, sober, vigilant. I'm teaching good this morning. You talk too much. You talk too much. Your mouth is like a broken pipe. Once you start, it's like they charm you. Everything will come out, including even the one that you swore to yourself nobody will hear. Then after you say, "How did people hear it?" Because that means when you were talking, it was not you.

Let's see something he can do. Am I teaching good this morning? From the Old Testament. Those who celebrate bad moods are bad for a Christian. Bad moods can be demonic. Because the Bible says "rejoice always." Only mourn with those who mourn. Once you're not mourning with mourners, you're supposed to be rejoicing all the time. Joy. Things are working: joy. Things are not working: joy. Everything is not looking good: joy.

Rejoice. A man is in prison, and he's writing to people that are not in prison. And he's telling them, "Rejoice again I say rejoice." He's in prison. He's the one we should be writing to. But he's the one writing to us. Rejoice all the time. Some of us have mood problems, and they call you a melancholy. And you go around announcing, "I know myself. I'm a melancholy. Sometimes I'm happy, sometimes I'm sad. Sometimes I'm up, sometimes I'm down. I know the Lord laid his hands on..." What?

The Lord laid his hands on you for you to be up and down? Up and down is hot and cold oh. God say, "I will spew out of my mouth." You must be consistent. You must rejoice. And listen, rejoicing is in the Lord. Don't rejoice in things. Don't rejoice in people. Rejoice in the Lord. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. Rejoice in the Lord. Why? Because you know he can turn it around. You know he can fix it. You know he can perform a miracle. You know he can deliver at any time. So rejoice in the Lord and in the power of his might. Let that be your joy. Say, "I hear you."

Let your joy not be dependent on things. You will have mood swings. As a child of God, let your joy be in the fact that you have Christ. That you are saved. That your name is written in the book of life. That is what matters when it comes to the scheme of things. All these other things are transient. Car, house, money. All of them are transient. You will leave them in this world. But there's something you will not leave in this world: the joy of salvation.

As a child of God, you must be a man of joy, a woman of joy all the time. Be at peace with all men. Pursue peace. Seek peace, pursue it. It denies Satan an opportunity to operate. Seek peace, pursue peace. Make peace, as much as it lieth within you. Live in peace with everybody. Mama and I are always saying it. It's good we didn't cheat this person oh, he's the one that cheated us. Most people I do things with end up cheating me. Most, not all. They cheat me because they think I cannot do something. Then something will go and do them. It's not me that prayed oh. It's not karma oh, because me I don't know about karma. But somehow, somehow things will do them, and I will still be the one to tell them "sorry" and pray. Father intervene. Have your way, Lord.

You eat too much, you're inviting Satan. Because what goes through the mouth determines the outcome of the life. You can't fast. If you fast two hours, your body will be doing like this. So supposing you are in Brother Paul's shoe, fastings often, how would you survive? There are times as a child of God, even when there's plenty food, look at the food and say, "I am bigger than you. Take a day of fasting and don't eat it." It's not everything you should eat. Don't eat what want you to eat it. Don't eat what want you to eat it.

It's not everything that wants you to eat it that you eat. Some things carry sugar diabetes. Some things carry high blood pressure. Some things carry stroke. Some things carry all kinds of things. Don't eat what want you to eat it. Select what to eat and know when to eat, and know when to stay from eating. It is indiscipline for a child of God to be obese. Where to even walk, you need the grace of God. So if there is trouble, you cannot run. Are you a child of God? Are you quoting "whom the son sets free"? Is free indeed. Where is the freedom? See stomach. Like seven months pregnancy.

He can't run. Even if he say, "Run," he's running like this. Sorry, I'm not body shaming you. I'm just telling you the truth. As a child of God, you must be circumspect. You must be wise. Knowing what the will of the Lord is. Be sober. Be sober. Some days decide not to eat. Look, if you have air conditioner all the time in your room, some days off it and sweat. Let AC know that you can live without it. See, anything you cannot live without in this life is not good for you. Eh?

Sometimes make sure your bank account is empty. Remove all the money. Give to people, be a blessing. Support project in church. Be broke for one week and survive. Learn to survive without money and learn to survive with money. Know how to abase, know how to abound. I'm teaching you something here. The devil must know that, "Kai! How can I get this person?" If it's food, he's not given to food. If it's money, he does without money. If it's AC, he doesn't stay under AC. How can I get him?

The devil must not find where. You know a man that is a drunkard, if they want to attack him, they plan for him in beer parlors. Because they know that he will visit one. They'll bring injection and put inside the bottle of alcohol. Phew! and give him. Quack, quack, quack, quack, quack. That's why Bible say if you are a king, don't give yourself to alcohol. Alcohol is not for kings. It's for servants. Mere men. Because, because it will confuse you, your sense of judgment.

Let me close this service. I hear you. Say, "Papa don't go there, don't go there, don't go there. Don't go there in this service, is enough, is enough." Papa na lie, never enough. First Samuel 16:14. Let's go there. First Samuel 16:14, PJ, as I close the service.

PJ: But the spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord troubled him.

Dr. Abel Damina: Well, you know what we mean by "evil spirit from the Lord." Evil spirit from the Lord means when the Lord left Saul, the absence of the Lord allowed for evil spirit to trouble him. God doesn't send evil spirits. He can't be the one sending evil spirits and asking you to cast out evil spirits. So it's just a figure of speech, it's a mode of communication, okay? I've taught you that extensively. All right, go on PJ. Next verse.

PJ: And Saul's servants said unto him, "Behold now, an evil spirit from God troubleth thee." Next verse. "Let our lord now command thy servants, which are before thee, to seek out a man, who is a cunning player on an harp."

Dr. Abel Damina: The way to drive away the evil spirit is play music. Play music. That's why a person that is always playing worship songs, inspirational worship songs, he is always most times free from demonic influence, if not all the time. That's why the gifts of the spirit in operation, you speak to yourself in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs. There's something about the worship of God. There's something about music and worship that creates an inspirational environment where demons find it difficult to operate.

Yes. Look at it. Let's look for somebody who is a cunning player on an harp and it shall come to pass, when the evil spirit from God is upon thee, that he shall play with his hand, and thou shall be well. He shall play the music, and you will be well. Look, PJ read verse 23 for me as I close. Verse 23. 23.

PJ: And it came to pass, when the evil spirit from God was upon Saul, that David took an harp, and played with his hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him.

Dr. Abel Damina: The moment he began to hear worship. He began to hear worship. Worship. The evil spirit left. He was refreshed, and he was well. This is even before the Holy Spirit. Much more now that we have the Holy Spirit. Just play music. Create a music environment in your office, in your house. Play something anointed all the time.

You know, Mama and I have something we call Bible on cassette. It used to be called Bible on cassette. Now it's no more on cassette. The audio Bible. You just play and raise the volume comfortably. And just let the Bible be reading, and you'll be hearing. It does something to you. Play my teaching for hours. I met somebody in South Africa, she said, "My daughter has problem with sleep, but every time I play your teaching, within a few minutes, she sleeps up till the next morning. So now, my sleeping pill for my daughter is your teaching."

Once she's struggling, I play your teaching. Few minutes, phew. Because there's an anointing. The word of God carries power. When you begin to hear it, it connects with your spirit. Your body comes under subjection. How many of you understand what I'm saying? Your body submits to the authority of the word of God in your spirit. Whenever your nerves are up, play something anointed. Play a teaching, play a worship. Play an anointed song. A song that reminds you who you are. A song that reminds you your realities.

Suddenly, ah, Neanos. Suddenly you start telling yourself, "Yes, that's exactly who I am." Suddenly you feel fired up. Am I talking to somebody here? You feel what? Fired up. Sometimes get the three hours prayer cruise prayer. Get it. Play it in your house while you sleep. Shakatamalakopugalatapakatakata. When you wake up, you hear it coming from everywhere. Zionosikalata. You sleep again, the thing is vibrating in your room. Kaboteke. Demons will say, "Ah, ssshh, ssshh, ssshh. Don't go there, don't go there. That place is on fire."

Somebody say, "I live a spirit-filled life." Say it again, "I live a spirit-filled life." Say, "I refuse to give the devil room in my life. I refuse to cooperate with evil spirits. I go around casting out demons. I resist the devil. I stand, having done all to stand." Glory to God. Stand on your feet, that's all I've got for you in this service. Glory to God. Zeatokasparakash.

I'd like you to stand up this morning, and I'd like you to turn to your neighbor and say, "Hey neighbor. You have all it takes, the knowledge of God's word, to stand fast in the liberty wherewith you're free." Tell your neighbor, "Neighbor, refuse to engage ungodly habits. Any habit that enslaves you, break it. Stay away from it. Don't give the devil room. Neither give the devil room. Neither give room to the devil."

Tell your neighbor, "The devil is looking for whom to devour. Be sober, be vigilant. Having done all to stand, stand. Resist the devil. He will flee. Glory to God." I say, "Glory to God." Say, "I stand in the authority of Christ, and I declare: I am circumspect. I am wise. I am sober. I am vigilant. And in the name of Jesus, I refuse to give the control of my life to anything other than Christ. Amen."

Father, I pray for everybody in this service online, on television, on radio. Thank you, Lord, that your word is coming with light, and your people are being equipped, and your people are being built up into the wisdom of the spirit. So right now I speak to every habit. Every habit that has held you bound is broken in the name of Jesus! Every influence that has taken joy away from you, every influence that has taken peace from you, I command that influence to cease in the name of Jesus!

Satan, we resist you. We resist you. We resist you. Every depression, every oppression, every pain, every torment, every fear, every disease, loose your holds in the name of Jesus! Heanosakaparaka liboshakengelebosakatabaya. Sick bodies be healed. Be healed. Oppression on your mind, depression on your mind. I come against personality disorders. Every form of medical definition given to you, I resist it and I command you right now to recover in the name of Jesus!

Say with me, "I am what the word says I am." Say it two more times. "I am what the word says I am." Say it one more time. "I am what the word says I am." Say, "I walk in the light." Say it again, "I walk in the light." Shout it louder, "I walk in the light." Say, "In the name of Jesus, I have no occasion of stumbling." I didn't hear a powerful amen. If you are blessed in this service, give the Lord a celebration. A celebration.

Glory, glory, glory, glory, glory. Glory. Whoo! Glory. Tell your neighbor, "I have overcome. I am more than a conqueror. And I maintain it by being sober, vigilant. And I walk in the will of God. Glory to God." Get out your honor offerings. Let's give this morning as we honor Jesus. And next Sunday will be Partnership Day for partners. Partner of this ministry, you want to be a partner so that you can help us get this message all over the world. You want to give, you want to support what we do continually.

Partnership allows you every month to take a particular part of your money to support what we do so we can do more and get more people to come to this light. So if you are not a partner of this ministry, you want to partner with me, just shoot a mail to DrAbelDamina@yahoo.com. Indicate "Partner." Next Sunday is Partnership and it's going to be a beautiful service as we give you the opportunity to support what we do all over the world. The word of God is growing all over the nations. And we want to thank all our partners who continually give to this ministry sacrificially and support the vision of this house.

Now I want you to grab your offering. Online, the banking details are scrolling. And Kingdom Life Network and all the TV stations, the banking details are scrolling. I'd like you to lift up your offerings. Let's pray this morning. Father, we give with joy. We give from a heart of generosity. And we thank you for the privilege to advance your cause on the Earth through our giving.

We thank you, Father, that it is of your fullness that we all have received grace for grace. And we will never keep our resources from advancing your kingdom. So I pray that as we give this morning, everyone in need in this house, your needs are met supernaturally in the name of Jesus! Father, we rejoice that together we are taking your word to the ends of the Earth. And we give you praise for the blessing. In Jesus' name we pray, and every believer says a powerful amen. Glory. Campus coordinators, we leave all of you in the hands... I mean campuses, we leave you in the hands of your campus coordinators. They will tell you what to do from here forward. But we see you at 11:00 AM GMT+1. The baskets are before us. Hit the music. Let's do it as we worship Jesus, the risen Lord this morning. Glory to God.

PJ: Oh my goodness, the word of God is light. The Bible tells us, "The entrance of God's word giveth light; and it giveth understanding unto the simple." As you keep listening, the light of God's word rises out of the rightly divided word of truth, illuminates your mind, illuminates your heart, and brings you face to face with your realities in Christ Jesus.

In Ephesians chapter 3, verse 3, Brother Paul speaking about the mystery the Old Testament, he said, "Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ." So there is a knowledge in the mystery of Christ. The word "mystery" is the word musterion in the Greek. It means "that which is concealed."

And then it says how that by revelation, the word "revelation" is the word apokalupsis. It means "that which is revealed." So the revelation of the scriptures unveils the mysteries. Revelation is the New Testament. Mystery is the Old Testament. But it will take reading and learning to come to a place of full understanding, precise, and accurate knowledge.

Brother Daniel will say, "I understood by books." So there's a place of books in equipping you soundly with the message of Christ. Brother Paul would write to Timothy, he says to Timothy, "Till I come, give attendance to reading." Jesus speaking to those Jews says, "You do err, because you know not the scriptures, nor the power of God."

Oftentimes, Jesus would say to the Jews, "Have ye not read?" is the word anaginosko in the Greek. It means "Are you reading and not paying attention?" I want to quickly recommend for you a plethora of books I have written. They are written with an intent to bring you doctrinal clarity, answer your questions doctrinally, and bring you to a place of accurate understanding, a precise knowledge of Christ and you in Christ.

I want you to order for those books today. The number and the list of books available will be read to you right now. And if you call today, we'll be glad to make sure you get a copy or more copies of the books so you can enrich your spiritual life and enrich your work with God and build a quality relationship with Jesus Christ where you're also able to teach others the same truths you have learned, to liberate them and bring them to the fullness of God. Glory to God.
