Dr. Abel Damina: The name of Jesus! Father, we rejoice that this morning we have the privilege, the privilege and the right, to come before Your Word humbly and respectfully. We come this morning before Your Word with expectation. Our hearts are filled with joy because we know exactly what Your Word is going to do to us today, building us up, equipping us, and bringing our realities right before our understanding. We rejoice because we are found in Him, not having our own righteousness.

So I pray for everybody connected to the service this morning. Light floods your mind. Veils fall off. Clarity comes. You are established in the truth that is in Christ Jesus. By the end of this service, no one leaves this place the same way they came. We rebuke sickness. We rebuke disease. Satan, get your hands off. We rebuke pain in the name of Jesus. We command healing for your body. We receive it on your behalf, and we command your body be healed in the name of Jesus. Thank You, Father, that by the end of this service today, we'll all be the better for it. In Jesus' precious name, and every believer says a powerful amen.

Lift your right hands to heaven. Let's release our faith together as we say these words: I am born of God. I am born of the Word. The Word of God is my nature. I do not struggle to do the Word. I do the Word naturally. Therefore today, I will understand the Word of His grace. I will be built up. By the end of this service, I will never be the same. Never, ever be the same again. In Jesus' name, and every believer says that amen like thunder.

Hebrews chapter 2 from verse 1: "Soteria is in 7: The Legal and Vital Work of Salvation." We are still laying foundation. "Therefore, we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip." The original is "we should drift away." It is not the Word that slips; it is we that can drift away from the Word.

"For if the word spoken by angels was steadfast," and I did some work on this in the first service, "and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward; How shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard Him?"

The Jews, the Jewish people, had a wrong perception about God. Their perception lingered right into the four Gospels, the Book of Acts, and sad enough, the same perception is prevalent up till today. A study into the scripture lets us see God. God was seen particularly by the Jews in the following light. Listen carefully.

God was seen particularly by the Jews in the following light: number one, that God was the one that set standards for them by giving them the Ten Commandments and the 612 laws of Moses. Number two, they see God as one who delivered them from their enemy, but kills and destroys them when they disobey Him. Number three, they see God as a God who punishes a sinner for disobeying the law. That is the perception of Jewish people.

The next one is they see God as holy and righteous, blameless and just. However, sometimes in His anger, He can kill and destroy the sinner who falls short of His demands and requirements. They also see God as one who created an imperfect man. However, He demands perfection from an imperfect man by setting standards of laws that the man cannot keep. So in their mind, God is an unjust God. In their mind, God is just somebody that they can’t really handle because how can He create an imperfect man and give the imperfect man a standard of laws that the man cannot keep? That’s the perception of Jewish people.

Then these Jewish people perceive God as a personality who is shrouded in mystery and does things in mysterious ways and cannot be questioned. The Jewish people also, that’s the way they see God. And the list is endless. A fundamental fact, a fundamental fact that must be realized is many attempt to know God outside His revelation. They want to know God using different ways outside His revelation because the revelation of God is His Son, Jesus Christ. And if anybody tries to know God outside Jesus, he will end up in error.

Most of the world religions today—Judaism, Mormonism, Atheism, and all the different religions because even those who say there is no God, they have formed a religion out of that—Islam and all of them, their belief systems are rooted in the Bible. Even the Islamic people have their history that can be traced back to the Bible.

Now, the question will be, why so many religions from one book? From one book you have the New Age, you have the doctrine of inclusion, exclusion, Mormonism, Islamism, all of them from one book. Why is it like that? The difference is in how you read it. You didn't hear that. The difference is in how you read the book. Even occultism comes from the Bible. Most occults use Bible verses. You will hear people talk about the seven books of Moses, and they use it for occultic practices.

So why is it all that? The difference is, please listen carefully, this is fundamental. The difference is in how you read it. It is also in whom you consider to be the principal character of the Bible. Whom you consider to be the principal character of the Bible? Because if you read it as Moses being the principal character, you will end up in Judaism. If you are reading the Bible and all you’re looking for is Moses as the standard, you will end up in Judaism.

That is where brother Paul was. Look at Galatians chapter 1 verse 11. Let’s trace brother Paul and the problem with reading the Bible using the lenses of Moses. "But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man." Verse 12. "For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ." Next verse. "For ye have heard of my conversation in time past"—the word "conversation" there means lifestyle—"of my lifestyle in time past in the Jews' religion." So there is a religion of Jewish people, which is not Christianity. Put it up. "In the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it." Next verse. "And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers."

Brother Paul is talking now as a Jew. Next verse. "But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by His grace," next verse, "to reveal His Son in me." So the Jewish religion is devoid of the revelation of Christ because Paul was in the Jewish religion but didn’t know Christ. So when it pleased God, God separated Paul to reveal Christ to Paul.

So Judaism is not Christianity. Judaism is not Christianity. Once you make Israel a standard for your Christianity, you are no more a Christian. You are in Judaism, which is a religion of Jewish people where Paul was. And Paul said when the revelation of Jesus came, he abandoned Judaism. Look at where Paul spoke about that emphatically. Philippians chapter 3 verse 4, pay attention.

"Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more." Next verse. "Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee." That is Paul is saying, I am a Pharisee where the law of Moses is concerned. That is to say I have memorized the Torah by heart. That is to say as a Pharisee, I practiced the law of Moses and I kept the Ten Commandments as a Pharisee.

Next verse. Give me the next verse. He said he is a Pharisee. "Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless." So what do you do to such a man? He has kept all the law. He is blameless. He is a Pharisee. He is so zealous in his religion as a Pharisee that he persecuted the church. He killed Christians to defend his religion of Judaism. What are you talking about?

Now, give me the next verse. "But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ." I lost Judaism and its practices for Christ. Are you in the building? Paul said, I count them as dung. Give me the next verse. "Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ." I give up being a Pharisee. I give up practicing the law of Moses. I give up using prayer shawls. I give up using all the anointing oil. I give up everything that makes me a Jew and a member of the Jewish religion for Christ.

But it’s a pity today many Christians are in Judaism, even in this country, even in this state. Many Christians are in Judaism. They are in the same thing that brother Paul abandoned. They have exalted Moses above God. That is why when we talk about Jesus being the standard of the Bible, they are angry because to them Moses is their spiritual father.

And that is the issue. Religions came out of the Bible because all the religions rejected Jesus from being their revelation of God. And they have decided some of them Moses is their revelation of God. There’s some of them Joseph Smith, some of them Muhammad. All of these are rebellions against accepting the revelation of Jesus as being the revelation of God. That is why if you don't know Jesus, you’re not born again. If you don't know Jesus, you’re not a Christian. If Jesus is not final authority in your reading of the Bible, you are far from God because to us our God is Jesus. Our God is Jesus. Please stay with me.

Look at the same Paul who counted all things as dung. He now took that as his assignment to take Jewish people from Judaism to Christ. And at a point, they even got angry with him. Look at Acts chapter 21 verse 20. "And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law." They believe, but they’re very zealous in Judaism.

Give me the next verse. "And they are informed of thee, that thou teachest all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses." That brother Paul is telling them abandon Moses. Moses is not the revelation of God. Brother Paul was teaching abandon and brother Paul was a Pharisee who abandoned Moses for Christ. Put it up. "And they are teaching that and they are saying that thou teachest all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise their children, neither to walk after the customs." Brother Paul bringing the revelation of Jesus.

So listen very carefully, everybody. If you read the Bible without Christ in mind, you will end up in religious worship or occultism or idol worship, or you will end up making a religion out of yourself. Christ is the principal character for Christianity. Jesus said in John 5:39, "Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of Me." What Jesus is saying is, I am the principal character of the scriptures. What Jesus is saying is the scriptures rally around My person. What Jesus is saying is if you read the Bible anywhere and you don’t see Me, you have not read it is My message.

In Luke chapter 24 verse 25, on the way to Emmaus, Jesus met those disciples and said unto them, "O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into His glory? And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, He expounded unto them in all the scriptures" observe, "the things concerning Himself." He is the message of the scriptures. He is the message of the scriptures.

Look at what Moses said to the fathers in Acts chapter 3 verse 21. Acts chapter 3 verse 21. This same Moses that people are celebrating. Give me 22, sorry. Acts 3:22. "For Moses truly said unto the fathers," this Moses that they worship in Judaism, this Moses that has become a religion to people, "Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; Him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever He shall say unto you."

Next verse. "And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people." Moses said somebody is coming. He is the one I’m talking about. Him shall ye hear. So what happened on the Mount of Transfiguration? Moses and Elijah appeared. And Peter said let’s build three tabernacles: one for Moses, one for Elijah, one for Jesus. And a cloud took Moses and Elijah out. Then the heavens opened and a voice came out of heaven, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye Him."

Jesus is the revelation of God. Jesus is the explanation of all things. Jesus is the reason for the scriptures. The scriptures were written for Him, and the scriptures were written about Him. Jesus is the Logos. John 1:1, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." The word "Word" is the Greek word "Logos." "Logos" means logic. What it means is that Jesus is the thinking pattern of God. Jesus is the reason behind, Jesus is the intent, the plan, the design, the architecture, Jesus is the plan, the purpose, the will, and Jesus is the reason for everything that was created.

All things were made for Him and by Him were all things made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. Jesus is the exact, accurate, precise, comprehensive revelation of God to humanity. Am I communicating at all? If you don't know Jesus, you don't know God because Jesus reveals the Father. No man can come to the Father but by Me. So Jesus reveals the Father. He that hath seen Me hath seen the Father.

Why did the Jews take stones to stone Jesus? Because Jesus said, "I and My Father are one." You know what that means? Jewish people understand that when Jesus said, "I and My Father are one," that what Jesus was saying is I am the Father. That is why they took stones. That’s why they said how can You make Yourself God? They said, "We stone You not for good works; but that You, a man, makest Yourself God." Because for Him to say "I and My Father are one," what He was saying is I am God. And ladies and gentlemen, Jesus is our God. I say Jesus is our God. I didn't hear a shout of amen. I said Jesus is our God.

If Jesus is not God to you, you’re not a Christian. If Jesus is not God to you, you’re not born again. If Moses is not subject to Jesus, you’re not a believer. If Elijah is not subject to Jesus' correction, you’re not a Christian. Jesus is the reason for Elijah. He is the reason for Moses. He is the reason for all the prophets. Why? All the prophets came to testify of Him. And He came physically to correct the impressions they gave that were not accurate and to reveal Himself to you because God in the New Testament culminates His plan as the Father and His family.

But when you don’t read the Bible in the light of Christ, you end up in a religion. You end up in another religion, or a cult, or in idol worship. The scriptures must be read in the light of Christ. First John chapter 5 verse 20, pay attention. "And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding." That is our understanding is in the light of Christ. "Hath given us an understanding, and through Christ, that we may know Him." Our knowledge is the knowledge of Christ. That’s why brother Paul says that the eyes of your understanding may be enlightened, that you may have the Spirit of wisdom and revelation where? In the knowledge of Him.

In the knowledge of Christ. "And we know that the Son of God is come, and had given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is true, and we are in Him that is true, even in His Son Jesus Christ." Who is Jesus Christ? "This is the true God." Who is the true God? "And eternal life." Jesus is God revealed in humanity. Jesus is God revealed in humanity.

So when you read the Bible looking for Jesus, you end up in Christianity. But when you read the Bible looking for Moses, you end up in Judaism. When you read the Bible looking for prophets, you can end up in Islam. When you read the Bible looking for incantations and how to kill people, you end up in occultism. How you read it is what determines your destination. How you read it. That’s why the Word of God says, "Take heed how you read." Take heed how you read. Because how you read will determine where you arrive. You can arrive at a religion somewhere. You can arrive, I don't want to call names, but how you read is critical. How are you reading?

That’s why when they ask Jesus certain questions, He will say to them, "Have you not read? Have you not read?" Or, how are you reading? Because if you’re reading well, you should know that what I say is final. If you’re reading well, if Moses say "an eye for an eye," you should carry what Moses say and check it with what I say. I say, "Forgive those that hurt you. Pray for those that bless you." So me and Moses, who is God to you? If Moses is your God, take Moses' own. And if I am your God, take My own. That is where the rubber meets the road. Who is God to you? Who is God to you?

When you read the Bible, who are you looking for? If you are reading the Bible to solve problem, you will end up with native doctors. Whatever is your motivation for reading is where you will arrive. Am I teaching here? If you are reading the Bible to kill people, you will end up in witchcraft. That’s why when they asked Jesus, "Should we command fire to come down and destroy them like Elijah?" Jesus said, "Stop that! You know not what manner of spirit you are of. The Son of Man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them." And they went to another village.

How do you read the Bible? What are you looking for when you read the Bible? What are you looking for when you read the Bible? Jesus in Luke chapter 24 verse 44, He said to them, "These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you." Put it up on the screen. Luke 24:44. "These are the words which I spake unto you while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written" where? "In the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms," how? "Concerning Me."

What Jesus is saying is, I’m the reason for the prophets, I’m the reason for the psalms, I’m the reason for the law of Moses. They are all talking about Me. They are all pointing to My person. Jesus is saying, I am not one of the prophets. I am not a messenger. I am God. So Jesus didn't come to speak for God. Jesus is God speaking for Himself. Jesus didn't come to show us the way to God. No, Jesus is God showing Himself. Am I communicating at all? He is the accurate revelation of God to humanity.

And until you understand that, your questions will never end. Until you understand that, you will argue the Bible till you die. You will never arrive. Ever learning, never able to come to the knowledge of the truth until you submit to the lordship of Jesus. Until you agree that Jesus is God, your questions have no end.

The Bible is not a book of archaeology, so stop looking for how archaeology can confirm the Bible. The Bible is not a history book, so stop looking for who was the wife of Cain. The Bible is not a documentation on how the world started, so stop looking for when the world was created, was did water destroy the world? The Bible has a singular revelation. It has a bias. Search the scriptures; they testify of Me. "And from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee" what? "Wise unto" what? "Salvation through" what? "Faith which is" where? "In Christ Jesus."

And a Christian is in Christ. A Christian is in Christ, so his search will be inside Christ. A Christian is in Christ, so his search will be inside Christ. His conclusions will be inside Christ. His direction will be inside Christ. His destination will be inside Christ. Am I teaching somebody here?

The Bible is the borderline for all Christian learning. The Bible is the borderline, and the reason why it is the borderline is because that’s the only book in the world that carries with it the revelation of Christ. Outside the Bible, you won't find Christ elsewhere. Outside the Bible, you won't find Christ elsewhere. It is the final authority when it comes to man's relationship with God Almighty.

Remember, Christianity is the only faith, only in the entire universe, where the worshiped lives on the inside of the worshiper. Christianity is the only faith, I mean only faith, I mean only faith, where the founder died and rose the third day. All other religions, their founders who died are in the grave, waiting for Christ to judge them. What are you talking about?

Historically, it is proven that Jesus rose from the dead. Historically. Over 500 people saw Him alive. Documented. Over 500. Before He died, He told them I’m going to die and I will rise. They saw Him die. They saw Him buried. When He rose, they saw Him, they touched Him, they handled Him. It is the only faith on earth where the founder died and on the third day He rose.

There was a guy in America, I think DeLawrence or something, who said he was going to die and rise the third day. He died by the third day thunder struck the grave. Nobody else can rise except Jesus. Why? Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life." I don't have resurrection. I am the embodiment of resurrection. When I enter you, resurrection has entered. Please calm me down. Calm me down. Calm me down. Calm me down. Calm me down.

This thing is shocking me. I was praying for this service last night, and the Holy Ghost began to open up these things to me so I can settle some people once and for all. The only way to read the Bible as a true Christian is in the light of Christ. Is in the light of Christ. Many religions endorse, accept, and agree with the Old Testament. Many religions in the world. They endorse, they accept, and they agree with the Old Testament section.

Most, some of them endorse Matthew, Mark, Luke. That’s where they stop. But all religions back off when we say Jesus rose from the dead. No religion dares to read from Acts to Revelation. No religion agrees with Acts to Revelation. And that is why a preacher that cannot preach from Acts to Revelation needs to be born again again. Because Acts to Revelation is the family album for believers. Because Acts to Revelation is derived from the Old Testament as a balanced diet for the nutrition of Christians.

And there are pastors who never read from Acts to Revelation. They live their lives the prayer of Jabez. The prayer of Jabez. Oh, that Thou wouldest bless me indeed. The prayer of Jabez. The prayer of Jabez is not for believers. The prayer of Jabez is not for born-again men. The prayer of Jabez is for men who don’t know God. So anybody preaching the prayer of Jabez to you is insulting your spiritual intelligence. Are you still in the building? It’s not for believers.

Or somebody say don’t be like Delilah. There is no Delilah in the New Testament. Somebody say don’t be like a Jezebel. There is no Jezebel in the New Testament. In the New Testament, we have brand-new men. No Jew, no Gentile, but a new creation. "If any man in Christ, is a new creation. Old things are passed away. Behold, behold, behold, all things are new."

We are the circumcision that worship God where? In the spirit and have no confidence in the flesh. "You shall neither in Jerusalem nor in this mountain worship. The time cometh and now is, when true worshipers shall worship their Father in spirit. What is born of flesh is flesh; that which is born of spirit is spirit." Are you still in the building? Yes! We worship God in the spirit and we have no confidence in anointing oil. We have no confidence in bread and tasty time. We have no confidence in water. Our confidence is in the spirit. I didn't hear somebody shout amen.

The entire revelation of God is in a person. His name is Jesus. The entire revelation of God is in a person. His name is Jesus. So ladies and gentlemen, the Epistles are the game changer. The Epistles are the game changer because that is where you cannot understand except by the Holy Ghost. The Epistles are not outward. The Epistles are inward. The Epistles are the revelation of the new creation.

That’s why Jesus in John chapter 16 verse 12 said, "I have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now." Because the things spoken of in the Epistles are not for natural men. Comparing spiritual with spiritual, natural with natural. For the natural man cannot receive the things of the spirit, neither can he know them. Why? They are spiritually discerned. Brother Paul said we speak words which the Holy Ghost teacheth. We speak words which the Holy Ghost teacheth. Are you still in the building? Are you still in the building?

Then Jesus said you can't bear, so that’s why Paul now will pray that the eyes of your understanding be enlightened, that you may know, that you may know, that you may know what is the hope of your calling. It’s not head knowledge. It’s not CRK. It’s not Bible knowledge. It is revealed knowledge. Flesh and blood has not revealed this, but My Father which is in heaven. So when the Epistles are read in the light of Christ, the revelation of the identity, capacity, and ability of the born-again man are revealed to him so he can function in that reality.

The Epistles are the diet for the born-again man. We feed on them and we feed on them with reckless abandon because they are rightly divided. So a Christian's life, a true Christian's life is clearly seen in the Epistles. That’s where we see the risen Christ. That’s where we see the resurrected Christ. Many religions can handle Jesus of Nazareth. They can handle Jesus of Nazareth. In fact, people like Mahatma Gandhi said, I love the Jesus of Matthew, Mark, and Luke. I love him. I don’t love the other Jesus of the Epistles. I love the one of Matthew, Mark, and Luke because he said do good to your enemies. If they slap you here, turn the other. We like those morals.

Many religions can identify with that. But when you start speaking things as radical as we are the circumcision that worship God, Jewish people can't handle that. When you start saying things as radical as we worship God in the spirit and have no confidence in the flesh, natural religions can't handle that because that’s revelation knowledge. When you start saying things like if any man in Christ is a new creature.

So a man like brother Paul, who killed Christians, wasted people, made some people widows and widowers, made children fatherless and motherless, and after killing them he now gets born again. He comes back to those churches and he says to them, receive us. We have wronged no man. We have defrauded no man. We have cheated no man. It makes no sense to a religious man. So religion will look at Paul like this. Then Paul looks at them and say, the person that killed your people is Saul of Tarsus. This is Paul the Apostle. "If any man in Christ, he is a new creation. Old things are passed away. Behold, all things are become new."

"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are" where? "In Christ Jesus. For the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending His Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin condemned sin in the flesh that the righteousness of God may be fulfilled in us, not by us."

So brother Paul would say "and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, but the righteousness which is of Jesus. It is no longer I that lives, but Christ that lives in me. The life that I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me." Are you still in this service?

Hebrews chapter 2 again verse 2. "For if the word spoken by angels was steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward; How shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation." So again, we have seen that salvation is referred to as great. Something so of enormous wealth, something of high regard. Great salvation.

First Timothy chapter 2 verse 4. First Timothy chapter 2 verse 4. "Who will have all men to be saved, and to come to the knowledge of the truth." Next verse. Next verse. Verse 5. "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." Next verse. Watch the next verse. "Who gave Himself a ransom for all to be testified in due time."

So again, he points to the man Christ Jesus as the weight and expression of that salvation. The man Christ Jesus is the weight and expression of that salvation. If you believe that Jesus is the Word, you should read things in the light of Jesus. If you believe that Jesus is the Word, you should read things in the light of Jesus because if you don't know that, you will be subject to false interpretation.

If you don't know Jesus as the light of God's Word, you will be subject to false interpretation and wrong practices in the name of Christianity. False interpretation and wrong practices in the name of Christianity, where a preacher will ask you to go to your village and bring sand. Is he building a house? What has sand got to do with Christianity? Go to your village and bring sand. Sand? Sand for what? He says so that we can deal with the root of your problem.

And it is in sand? Even before Jesus died, Jesus told a centurion, let Me come to your house and pray. He said, Master, don’t come to my house. Speak the Word only, and my servant will be okay. You don’t need sand. Moreover, if you’re truly born of God, there is nothing in your village that is connected to you.

If you’re truly born of God, except you’re a church player. Except you’re a church player. If you’re truly born of God, there’s nothing in your village that is connected to you. You are born of God. Your ancestry is God. You are a royal priesthood. You are a holy nation. You are a peculiar people. You have been brought out of darkness into His marvelous light. There’s nothing in your village that has any relevance to you.

So once you start bringing sand from your village, you have entered a religion that has no name. It’s a new religion because you’re looking at the Bible through the eyes of a native doctor. I’m not joking. They say it’s prophetic symbols. A believer does not require prophetic symbols. He has the prophetic spirit inside him.

Somebody say it’s prophecy. It’s not prophecy. It’s deception. The spirit of prophecy, the spirit of prophecy is the testimony of Jesus. Am I teaching here? Some say but Gideon pulled down altars in his father's house. You are not Gideon. Gideon was not born again. So for him to be involved in those practices is not strange because people that don’t know God, those are the kind of practices they use.

But a man that is born of God has no business going to the village to pull down any altar. The day you got born again, you were a new creation established on a sound foundation. "No other foundation can any man lay than that which is laid, Christ Jesus." Except you’re not a, you’re not serious with God. Except you’re just a player. If you’re serious with God, the day you got born again, you were built on a sound foundation, Christ Himself being the cornerstone.

I’m teaching good. I said I’m teaching good. So that means if I’m going to know the scriptures, I must always come through Jesus because the scriptures testifies of Jesus. The scriptures testifies of Jesus. And because that is the only way I can have life. He said you will not come to Me that you may have life in John chapter 5 verse 40.

The only way to life is Christ. In Him was life, and the life was the light. So if I will have light in the scriptures, I must come through Jesus, who is the life and the light of the scriptures. If I’m going to have light in the reading of the scriptures, I must come through Jesus, who is the life and the light of the scriptures. Do you realize Philip met the eunuch? The eunuch was reading the Bible, but he was reading like many people who go to churches read the Bible and they see, they see other things other than Jesus. They see other things.

And when they get involved with those other things, they are, they are already in idol worship or they are in a religion that is without God. So Philip asked him, "Understandest thou what thou readest?" The man said, "How can I, except somebody should guide me?" Philip said, "Where are you reading from?" He took him to the same place in Isaiah. Philip took it and brought Christ out of it, and life entered the man.

Until you approach the Bible in the light of Christ, you will read it as a dead book. What gives life to the Bible is Christ in the Bible. He is the life and He is the light. Christ is the life and light of the scriptures. Without Christ, the scriptures have no life. The life of the scriptures is a person. His name is Jesus. If I’m teaching, shout I hear you. I said if I’m teaching, shout I hear you.

So you must see Jesus as the Word of God. He is the thought, the idea, the pattern, the substance of the revelation of God to us. Jesus is the substance of the revelation of God to us. It is in Christ Jesus we know the mind and the will of God. It is in Christ Jesus we know the mind and the will of God to us and to humanity.

That is why First Timothy 2:4 says, "Who will have all men," who will, the will of God, "who will have all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth." That is, that will of God is demonstrated in the person of Jesus. That will of God is demonstrated in the person of Jesus. The plan, the plan, the plan, the purpose of God is expressed in a person. The light of God is seen in a person. That’s why we call Jesus the explanation of all things.

Who will have all men. Now question, who will have all men? Man. Who will have all men? Man. There is one mediator between God and man, the man. So the man will have all men to be saved. The man will have all men to be saved. So men will be saved because of the man, and men will be saved through the man.

What was the price paid for man's salvation? Man. What was the price paid for man's salvation? Man. So man was paid as the price for man's salvation. Man was paid as the price for man's salvation. The Bible is a clear document. The heaven and the earth were made for man. The heaven and the earth were made for man.

The animals were made for man. God put everything under man. Even angels were made for man. Hebrews 1:14, "Are they not all, all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?" Who shall be heirs of salvation? So if everything was made for man and salvation is also centered towards man, that’s why I said to you that the Word of God is referring to God's thought for man.

The Word of God is the revelation of God's thought for man, and the Word of God is a person. The Word of God is a person. So Jesus, the person of the Word, is the embodiment of the revelation of God's thought, God's plan, God's idea, God's intent, God's purpose, God's focus, God's architecture, God's design for mankind.

When you look at Christ, you see the embodiment of God's plan for you. You can never know the will of God outside Christ. Christ reveals the will of God to man and for man. Are you in the building? The will of God to man and for man. The will of God to man and for man. So as I round up, let's do a little bit and then tomorrow we will push this thing very, very hard.

If man is the object of salvation and man is the price paid for the salvation of man and man is the price paid for the salvation of man, so we must do some study and examine some things about man. We must do some intelligence and some study about man.

In Genesis 1:26 to 28, look at it. Genesis 1:26 to 28. "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth." Next verse. "So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them."

Next verse. "And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth." So it says that God created man, man, in His image. That image is a spirit image. That image is a spirit image and a spirit of dominion. A spirit of dominion because He said, "Let them have dominion." Please pay attention. So man was created in the image of God and he was given dominion. Man was created in the image of God and he was given dominion. I told you we’re doing some intelligence here, so pay attention.

In chapter 2 of Genesis verse 7, put it up. Genesis 2:7. Genesis 2:7. "And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." So in chapter 2, man becomes a living soul. By that spirit taking residence or taking cognizance in a created body.

So the soul is the result of the spirit in the body of man. The soul is a result of the spirit in the body of man. The soul, therefore, is that communication link. The soul is the communication link. It is how the spirit expresses itself through the body. The soul is how the spirit expresses itself through the body.

You will not find a place where the soul was created. God never created the soul. You will not find it in the Bible because the soul, the soul does not, was not created. It emerges from the residence of man's spirit. The soul emerges from the residence of man's spirit in the body of man. From the residence of man's spirit in the body of man.

So when we say the Word, when we say Jesus, John 1:1, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." Verse 14. "And the Word became flesh," "ginomai." The Word changed shape and location, "became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld the glory, we saw the glory of God, full of grace and truth." Full.

When we look at Jesus, who is God, all we saw was grace which is truth. We saw goodness. We saw splendor. We saw kindness. We saw majesty. We saw life. We saw health. That is all we saw when we beheld the glory in the body of a man. Grace, full of grace. And from that grace, we received grace. From the grace which embodies the personality of God in humanity, we received grace and for grace. That’s all we saw.

We didn't see killings. We didn't see wickedness. We didn't see disaster. We didn't see ugliness. We only saw grace and truth. We saw beauty. We saw splendor. We saw majesty. We saw the weight, we saw the depth, we saw the height, we saw the length of the love of God embodied in God manifest in humanity. That’s what we saw. Now, so the Word became a man. The Word became a man.

Look at Philippians 2:5, and I’m closing there. Tomorrow we shoot off. Philippians chapter 2 verse 5. "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus." Next verse. "Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God." Next verse. "But made Himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men."

Next verse. Next verse. "And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross." "And being found in a fashion as man." So that scripture tells us the pre-incarnate God took the form of flesh. The pre-existing One, the pre-incarnate, the pre-existing One took on the form of flesh. The Word became flesh.

So He took on the form of flesh and became a man. Spirit, soul, and body. God became a man. Spirit, soul, and body. That is if He was just man in His body, that is not a man. If He was just man in His soul, that is not a man. So He was a man in His spirit, a man in His soul, a man in His body. He was God that became a complete man.

He was 100 percent God and 100 percent man. He is 100 percent God in the sense that He had a pre-incarnate state as God which He abandoned. He abandoned it. He abandoned His pre-incarnate state as God. He abandoned it and became a man. He laid it aside.

If we all agree that man is a spirit, so if you want to become a man, you have to become a man where? In the spirit. If you cannot become man in the spirit, then you are not a man. So if God became a man, it means God became a man in the spirit. Pay attention. We’re going somewhere brutal. Now, the riches of redemption are so rich that a poor soul cannot handle it. The riches of redemption are so rich that a poor soul cannot handle it.

So Philippians 2:5-8, Jesus was God. People believe when He rose up, He rose up back to be God. You know, that’s what people think. People think that when Jesus rose from the dead, He rose up and became God. Uh-uh. He rose up and became man and remains man right now. Our God is a man. Our God is a man right now.

If you don't believe that, you’re not a Christian. If you don’t believe that, you’re not a Christian. You are a Christian because you believe that your God is a man. His name is the man Christ Jesus. Our God today is a man. He rose up back exalted as a man. Exalted as a man. He sits today as a man. Today, right now, our God is a man.

That cannot be handled by religion because religion does not look for God in Christ. Religion looks for God in Israel. Religion looks for God in rituals. Religion looks for God in practices. Religion looks for God in ordinances. Religion calls olive oil with manufacturer date and expiry date God in a bottle. Religion calls hanky God. Idol worship. Religion cannot travel without a bottle of oil. Idol worship. Religion believes that until you go to a particular location to worship, you’re not worshiping God. Idol worship. That’s not God.

That’s why, that’s why they stoned Stephen. Stephen said to them, "God does not dwell in temples made with hands." They carry stone and say stupid man. Religion can't handle that. Some of the things we’re saying here will offend religion to its leg because religion has a dirty evil spirit behind it. That’s why the Jews couldn't handle Jesus.

Some of the things we’re saying here cannot be handled by demons. They are too hot. Unclean spirit will hear this message and take off to something triangle. Is it Bermuda? Bermuda Triangle. Can't stand it. Evil spirits cannot stand what you’re teaching. These are the kind of things Jesus taught and evil spirits exited. The Bible says He cast out demons by His Word as He’s teaching. They run away because it is full of light to a soul that desires light. That doesn't want poverty because a poor soul cannot handle the riches of redemption.

I close with Philippians 2:5 Amplified. Let’s amplify it and close. Amplified, Philippians 2:5. Watch the reading, Amplified version. "Let this same attitude and purpose and humble mind be in you, which was in Christ Jesus. Let Him be your example in humility." Next verse. Watch. "Who, although being essentially one with God and in the form of God, possessing the fullness of the attributes which make God God, did not think this equality with God was a thing to be eagerly grasped or retained."

Look at verse 7. "But stripped Himself of all privileges and rightful dignity so as to assume the guise of a slave or servant, in that He became like men and was born a human being." Was born a human being. Verse 8. "And after He had appeared in human form, He abased and humbled Himself still further and carried His obedience to the extreme of death, even the death of the cross." He stripped Himself.

When you hear the kind of things I’m teaching, this is what we call the unsearchable riches of Christ. From conception to redemption, to exaltation to the right hand of God, Jesus is not God, Jesus is man. From conception to death, to resurrection to exaltation, He is a man. There is one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus.

So whatever He did on earth, He didn't do it as God. He did it as man. Jesus is God who became man to identify with man so that man can be united with God. So God and man met in Christ. You didn't hear that. God and man met in Christ. "If any man in Christ, God was in Christ." So God and man met in Christ. Christ reveals God to man; Christ reveals man to God. The meeting point.

And today in Christ, in Christ, man finds full expression of his accurate identity and functions in authority, utilizing all the resources that are his in God. And such a man is above circumstances and situation. Such a man does not draw his, his definition from anything outside. His definition is from inside. So whatever happens outside does not flabbergast him because he knows the end of the things outside by virtue of who he is inside. The believer is not labeled from outside; he is labeled from within. The man in Christ. The man in Christ.

Is that man in this building? If that man is in this building, get on your feet and shout the loudest amen in this place. Glory to God. Thank You, Father. Hallelujah. Lift your right hands up. Father, I pray for everybody under the sound of my voice. In this building, on television, on radio, and all those that are watching around the world on social media, all of our families, all the families of the Power City, everywhere in the house centers and campuses. Grace abound towards you. You always have sufficiency in all things. You abound unto every good work.

The eyes of your understanding flooded with light. Your realities in Christ rises big on your inside. Veils continue to fall off. In the name of Jesus, you’re filled with all the fullness of God. And I decree any one of you that is still battling with certain circumstances, we resist the devil right now in the name of Jesus. And we declare your victory. Victory in your body, victory in your soul, victory in your, your mind in the name of Jesus. Whatever is contrary to your true definition in Christ, we command it to expire. We command it to expire in the name of Jesus. Great grace is upon you. Great grace is upon you. Blessed above all limits. In Jesus' precious name, and every believer says that amen on a note of finality.

So get an offering, everybody. Let's give generously. We don’t give out of coercion. We don’t give out of manipulation. We give joyfully. We give with understanding. We give to honor the Word. We give to honor Christ. And above all, we give so we can fulfill our collective responsibility of preaching the gospel around the world.

Guest (Male): Oh my goodness, the Word of God is life. The Bible tells us the entrance of God's Word giveth light, and it giveth understanding to the simple. As you keep listening, the light of God's Word rises out of the rightly divided Word of truth, illuminate your mind, illuminate your heart, and brings you face-to-face with your realities in Christ Jesus.

In Ephesians chapter 3 verse 3, brother Paul, speaking about the mystery of the Old Testament, said, "Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ." So there is a knowledge in the mystery of Christ. The word mystery is the word "musterion" in the Greek. It means that which is concealed.

And then he says how that by revelation, the word revelation is the word "apokalupsis." It means that which is revealed. So the revelation of the scriptures unveils the mysteries. Revelation is the New Testament; mystery is the Old Testament. But it will take reading and learning to come to a place of full understanding, precise and accurate knowledge.

Brother Daniel said, I understood by books. So there’s a place of books in equipping you soundly with the message of Christ. Brother Paul would write to Timothy, he says to Timothy, till I come, give attendance to reading. Jesus speaking to those Jews says, you do err because you know not the scriptures nor the power of God. Oftentimes Jesus would say to the Jews, "Have ye not read?" is the word "anaginosko" in the Greek. It means are you reading and not paying attention?
