Reintroducing Jesus, Beyond Religion

Dr. Abel Damina: Father, we bless and praise and honor the name of Jesus. We come before your word this morning humbly and respectfully. We come before you with joy in our hearts, ready to draw water from the wells of salvation. Thank you that revealed knowledge is granted us. I pray for everybody in this building, in our house centers, in our campuses all over the world, on television, on radio, and everyone connected to this service even right here in the auditorium. We're so glad that we have the privilege to learn and to be equipped in the knowledge of Christ.

I decree that your people are built up as the word comes forth. We take authority over every yoke and burden; we destroy them in the name of Jesus. And we decree that your people are built up, equipped, and edified by the end of this service and Jesus is glorified. Thank you, Father, that through these 30 days of glory, your people's understanding will be so enlightened.

Let's release our faith together as we say these words: I am born of God. I am born of the word. The word of God is my nature. I do not struggle to do the word. I do the word naturally. Therefore, today, I will understand the word of his grace. I will be built up. By the end of this service, I will never be the same. Never, ever be the same again. In Jesus' name. And every believer says a powerful amen.

This is the beginning of 30 days of glory, 30 days of building you in the knowledge of Christ, and 30 days of celebrating your inheritance in Christ Jesus. Can somebody celebrate with a shout in this building?

And all of you in the house centers and our campuses around the world, it's a joy to come your way this morning. Get ready to be built up, equipped, and edified. Grab a pen, a notebook, and your Bible. Make sure you have a big notebook because we have a lot to study. This morning, we'll start with the introduction of the subject we'll be examining throughout the 30 days of glory 2020. A scholar that I respect very deeply by the name of E.W. Kenyon said that every denomination is defined by its knowledge of the new birth or what we call salvation.

This is so true and apt. The subject of salvation is the study of Christ. The subject of salvation is the study of Christ. 2 Timothy chapter 2, verse number 15: "Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." It is almost a given that a person's view of salvation is his knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. A person's view of salvation is his knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. Salvation is the primary thought exuded in the canon of scriptures. Salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

It's sad that some believers do not know what salvation is, while some others cannot state in clear terms when they got saved. Such believers can assume that salvation is the byproduct of what they did, how hard they try, how hard they work, how moral they are, or how they are able to please God. The entire confusion on the subject of salvation is born out of wrong interpretation of Bible texts. And remember, when a scripture is misinterpreted, a truth is lost. When a scripture is misinterpreted, a truth is lost.

And this brings to fore Brother Paul's words to Timothy in 2 Timothy 2:15. Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. The word study was translated from the Greek word *Spoudazo*. *Spoudazo* implies to be diligent. To be diligent, to make effort, or to be eager. Study in the Greek is the word *Spoudazo*. It speaks of putting hard work. Hence, it goes beyond just reading the Bible text. It was used 11 times in the New Testament books of the Bible.

It is imperative to note that Brother Paul used the word *Spoudazo* in the fourth chapter of the same epistle to Timothy, and it was, however, translated as diligence. 2 Timothy chapter 4, verse 9: "Do thy diligence to come shortly unto me." Take note of the word diligence. Look at 2 Timothy 4:21: "Do thy diligence to come before winter. Eubulus greets thee, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and all the brethren."

The word diligence in the text we just read was translated from the Greek word *Spoudazo*, the same word for study in the other context of 2 Timothy 2:15. It is the same word he used as diligence in 2 Timothy 4:9 and 4:21. *Spoudazo* means to make every effort at something, to make every effort at something. Another shade of that word is to throw yourself at something. Throw yourself at something. Paul used the same word again in his letter to Titus, a fellow minister of the gospel. Titus 3:12: "When I shall send Artemas unto thee, or Tychicus, be diligent to come unto me to Nicopolis, for I have determined there to winter."

This implies that when Brother Paul said to Timothy to make an intense effort, that is, he was to exert himself. In other words, the instructions to Timothy, a minister of the gospel, was for him to be diligent with the scriptures. There is no lazy approach permitted to the scriptures. You must be diligent. You must exert yourself when the scriptures are concerned. That is why the next thing Brother Paul will say is a workman. Study to show yourself approved unto God, be diligent, a workman that needs not to be ashamed.

A workman that needs not to be ashamed. The Greek word is *Ergates*. *Ergates* implies a tailor or a laborer. This buttresses the importance of diligence, hard work, on the part of the minister of the gospel with the scriptures. Hard work. He must be diligent in his study. Rightly dividing was translated from a compound word in the Greek lexicon, the word *Orthotomeo*. *Orthotomeo* was gotten from two words: the word *Temno* and *Orthos*. *Orthotomeo*: *Temno* means to cut, and *Orthos* means straight. To cut straight.

*Orthos* was used two other times in the New Testament. Let's see where it was used. Hebrews chapter 12, verse 13: "And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way, but let it rather be healed." Make straight paths, to cut through, rightly dividing. Look at it again in Acts of the Apostles chapter 14, verse number 10: "Said with a loud voice, 'Stand upright on thy feet.' And he leaped and walked." Stand upright.

So the words upright and straight were translated from the same Greek word *Orthos*. So the term rightly divide as used by Paul will imply to cut straight or to cut properly. Also, when the word is used, it is basically to show carefulness or properness. Carefulness or properness. It presupposes carefulness. That is, the teacher of the word or the minister of the gospel has to be careful in how he handles Bible texts. He has to be careful. Remember what I said a few minutes ago: when a scripture is misinterpreted, a truth is lost.

A minister of the gospel must be careful in how he handles Bible texts. A similar use of the word *Orthotomeo* will be seen in Proverbs chapter 3, verses 5 to 6. "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths." The word direct was translated from the Hebrew word *Yashar*. It means smooth, straight, or proper. Smooth, straight, or proper. It is mostly used for proper direction.

It means to make straight or to direct things properly. To direct things properly. It was lifted from three Hebrew words: *Yashar*, *Piel*, and *Temno*. It connotes to direct one's path to something. To cut through and direct your path to something. This is critical and very fundamental. In other words, it means cutting things to direct your paths. As used in Proverbs 3:6, it is the exact word translated in the Septuagint Greek as the word *Orthotomeo*.

There are two comparisons when the word *Orthotomeo* is used. Earlier writers or the pre-New Testament writers used this word for those who are into mining. In mining, you are not doing anything to create a mineral. In mining, you are not doing anything to create a mineral. Rather, what you're simply doing is extracting what is already available. Extracting what is already available. Secondly, it has to do with cutting a line straight, being careful and precise in your use of measurement.

Therefore, the word *Orthotomeo*, rightly dividing the word of truth, is an excavation and not an innovation. A preacher is not supposed to innovate. A preacher is supposed to excavate the scriptures in a bid to get into the mind of the author. To discover what the author's intent was in writing the text. The preacher is not supposed to superimpose his opinion, idea, or his perspective to the scripture. No, he's supposed to go into the mind of the author historically and contextually, find out what was in the mind of the author and reveal it to those listening to him.

That is why the word *Orthotomeo* was used because a preacher can easily mislead people because their minds already are blocked from seeing further light. This buttresses the fact that a preacher or a minister of the gospel has a duty to be diligent, to toil, to labor, to work hard in order to see exactly what the scriptures say and teach the very same. We're just supposed to echo what has been said. The church is built on the foundation that is already laid by the apostles and the prophets, Jesus himself the cornerstone.

Our job is to echo what they have said and rightly interpret or rightly divide it for the consumption of believers. At no point must we read our meaning into it. No, we just stay with what has already been written. No one is at liberty to give a personal interpretation or a personal meaning to a text. This is because a text of scripture can never mean today what it never meant when it was first written. A text of scripture can never mean today what it never meant when it was first written.

That is why there is consistency in the truth of the scripture. The importance of being diligent with the scriptures cannot be overemphasized. A number of denominations in existence today are a function of either an overemphasis, a misrepresentation, or a misapplication of certain texts of the scriptures. You know, there's a particular denomination that has at the foundation of their emphasis: follow all men with holiness, without which no one shall see the Lord.

That's the hub of the emphasis of that particular denomination. And what they emphasize is that if you're not holy in your conduct, you will not see the Lord. But if you go to the text where they quoted from in the book of Hebrews, that's not what the writer of Hebrews was saying. What the writer of Hebrews was talking about is that the salvation that you have already received in Christ that is already settled in you, the eternal salvation, it's already yours. But in order for people around you to see the impact of that salvation inside, follow them with holiness, follow them with peace so that they can feel the impact of your salvation.

It's not talking about seeing God. He's talking about the people around you seeing the realities of what has been done. That's the way it is properly explained in the text. But because of misinterpretation, the denomination has made it look like it is what a man does that will qualify him to see God. And thereby rendering useless the work of redemption. Because if man can qualify by his behavior to see God, there's no need for Jesus to die. Then the death of Jesus is useless since I can qualify.

But you see, man cannot qualify. In the best of your morality, you are like a filthy rag. You know what filthy rag is? Filthy rag is menstrual cloth, the cloth women use during their period with the dirty blood. That's filthy rag. What the Bible is saying is that your good morality before God smells. You can't qualify. Relax. Somebody has qualified for you. His name is Jesus. Oh, glory to God. For by grace are you saved through faith, and that not of yourselves. It is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast.

Faith in Christ alone qualifies you for heaven. Did you hear what I said? That whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. Everlasting life is on the premise of what Christ has done that you believe, not morality. There was a guy called a rich young ruler. Now, for you to be a rich young ruler and a Pharisee—because that guy was a Pharisee in the book of Mark chapter 10—it means you must have memorized the Torah by heart. And it means you must have lived very morally, because all of them Pharisees were keepers of the law of Moses strictly.

But the Bible says he saw Jesus. The guy was a moralist. The guy was a nice guy, no evil records around him. And he knows the Torah. What else does a man need after that? By religion, you're already in heaven. But he saw Jesus and he ran to Jesus. He said, "Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?" With all of your morality, you don't have eternal life? Yes, because morality is not equivalent to eternal life.

Jesus said to him, "You know the ten commandments: thou shalt not kill..." He said to Jesus, "Don't insult me. I'm a Pharisee. From my youth, I have kept all the ten commandments." And the Bible says Jesus looking at him loved him and said, "You have kept everything, but one thing you lack." And under the law, if you break one, you break all. One thing you lack: go, sell... he had greed. He had greed. So Jesus touches greed. Go, sell all that you have, give to the poor, take your cross, come let's go.

The man got angry and walked away. And Jesus said how hard it is for those that trust in riches. So his problem was that he had more trust in riches than faith in Christ. Are you following? And that disqualified him. The point is you cannot qualify. No matter how good you are, your good works don't qualify. Yes, you need to do good works. Yes, you need to live morally upright so that you can enjoy your stay in Akwa Ibom so that government will not arrest you, so you will not go to prison, so that you can enjoy relationship with people.

Good works are good for this earth, but you can't score points with God by good works. You can't score points with God by good behavior. Your good behavior is not good enough. Only what Christ has done has scored points with God. That's why even before Jesus did anything, the heavens opened and a voice came out of heaven, "This is my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased." Jesus gives the Father pleasure even without doing anything.

So the day you receive Christ into your heart, you become the pleasure of the Father. Oh, glory to God. The Father will look down and say, "Oh, this is my beloved son," because as many as receive him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God. They that receive Jesus. Until you receive Jesus, your morality is useless. It is Christ in you that guarantees eternal life. Are you in the building? All right, let me push a little more.

Look at your Bibles, let's read a few scriptures here. But before we read, follow me. Wrong interpretation of the Bible text is the reason for erroneous beliefs and practices by believers on the subject of salvation. The onus, therefore, is on the minister of the gospel to ensure that he presents the scriptures in its exactness to believers and not lead his audience into error or lead them astray. Paul said this much to Timothy in 1 Timothy chapter 4, verse 16: "Take heed unto thyself and unto the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this, thou shalt both save thyself and them that hear thee."

Take heed unto yourself and unto the doctrine. A minister who cares for the flock is one who is diligent with his study of the scriptures. This is so vital because the spiritual growth of every believer is premised on having precise and accurate understanding of what God has accomplished for us in Christ Jesus. Philemon chapter 1, verse 6, look at the way Brother Paul will write to Philemon: "That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you because you are in Christ Jesus."

Notice that Paul had earlier spoken about Philemon's faith in the Lord. This is similar to what he wrote in his letter to the church at Ephesus. Ephesians 1:15: "Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and love unto all the saints..." I heard of it, meaning you already have it. Colossians 1:4: "Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love which you have to all the saints..."

You have faith, you have love. In essence, Paul implied in his letter to Philemon that the degree to which the believer understands his salvation, which is every good thing that is in him in Christ, is the degree to which he or she will have an effective Christian life. The degree to which a believer understands his or her salvation is the degree to which he or she will have an effective Christian life. So, the understanding of the subject of salvation is fundamental.

The celebrated radio presenter, Michael Bush, is here. He kept asking me, "What is the big deal about salvation?" I said to him, to start with, there would be no Christianity without salvation. The fulcrum, the fundamental, the core, the very essence of Christianity is the salvation in Christ. If there's no salvation in Christ, Christianity is useless. There would be no need for it. It would be like any other religion where you can attain righteousness by good works. You can even be a religion to yourself. Just make yourself a good guy; you become a model for other people.

What makes Christianity Christianity is the salvation that Christ offered. Because Christianity is the only faith on the planet where the worshiped lives on the inside of the worshiper. All other faith is man trying to get to God. Christianity is the only faith where our God has come to us. Our God didn't wait for us to come to him because we can't get to him. So he came to us in human form.

Glory to God. In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God, and the word became flesh and dwelt among us. Identification. He lives on our inside. He lives among us. So, in essence, Brother Paul implied to his letter to Philemon that the degree to which the believer understands his salvation is the degree to which his Christian life will be effective. So, the understanding of the subject of salvation is fundamental to the spiritual growth of the believer.

If you don't understand salvation, you will never grow spiritually. Never. You can be in church for 50 years, you don't know anything. You can be a Christian and die without knowing nothing. Once there is a problem with your understanding of salvation, there's a problem with your Christian life. That is why I do not listen to any preacher of the gospel—I've been saying this for years—I do not listen to any preacher of the gospel on any subject until I find out what he has to say about salvation.

A preacher that does not understand salvation in Christ through faith does not know anything. It's like saying you're a university graduate and you cannot read ABCD. How did you get there? The fundamental, the basic. The basics of Christianity is salvation. So, if you don't understand salvation, you can't grow spiritually. Spiritual growth will be on the premise of the understanding of salvation.

Brother Peter also writes and admonishes the believer in his second epistle. 2 Peter chapter 3, verse 18: "But grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever. Amen." The lack of this knowledge can hinder the believer's effectiveness and, consequently, his spiritual growth. Little wonder Brother Paul in all of his letters to the different churches prayed for believers and stated that they come to knowledge.

For example, look at Ephesians 1:17 to 19. Look at the prayer: "That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him." Ephesians 3:14: "For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ... that he would grant you according to the riches of his glory to be strengthened with might by his spirit in the inner man... that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith... that you may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth and length and depth and height and to know..."

To know, to *Ginosko*, to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge. And on that knowledge, you'll be filled with all the fullness of God. You'll be filled with all the fullness of God when you come to that place of *Ginosko*, careful attention to the acquisition of the knowledge of your realities in Christ Jesus. You come to a place of fullness, the fullness of all that Christ has provided. Philippians 1:9, see the prayer Brother Paul prayed for the church at Philippi: "And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment."

Knowledge, knowledge, knowledge. Colossians 1:9: "For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding... that ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God." Philemon 1:6: "That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing that is in you in Christ."

So the importance of the believer having precise understanding—*Epignosis*, accurate, precise, exact knowledge, comprehensive insight of every good thing which is the salvation that is in Christ—cannot be overemphasized. It produces growth and makes the believer effective in his Christian walk. That knowledge makes you an effective believer in your Christian walk. If you're in the building, shout a powerful amen.

Hebrews chapter 2, verse 2: "For if the word spoken by angels was steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward, how shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation?" Look at the emotion: so great salvation. Which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord and was confirmed unto us by them that heard us. So it appears there are two things: there are words spoken by angels, which is the law, the law of Moses.

Galatians 3:19: it was added because of transgression in the hands of a mediator by the hand of the angel. So the angels gave the law, and in the law, there's no escape. Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, leg for leg. Jesus brought salvation which is our escape from the law. So if we reject the salvation that came from Jesus, how shall we escape the law and its consequences? Which means there is no salvation in the law. Salvation is in Christ. To escape the law and the judgment of the law, you must accept the salvation that Christ brought.

So salvation comes from Christ. That's what the writer of Hebrews was communicating to the Jews. How shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation? Now, take note of this: that it is the will of God for everybody to be saved. 1 Timothy 2:4: "Who will have all men to be saved and to come unto the knowledge of the truth." It's one thing to be saved; it's another thing to come to the knowledge of the truth.

So in the study of scriptures, a man must see the Christocentricity of the Bible. The Christocentricity of the Bible. In Luke chapter 24, on the way to Emmaus, Jesus met the two disciples and they were discussing about the events of the past three days: death, burial, and resurrection. And Jesus said to them, "What are you guys discussing?" And they said to Jesus, "Are you a visitor in town? Have you not heard about Jesus, a good guy that was killed the other day? We thought he would have delivered Israel."

They didn't even know who Jesus was after spending many years with Jesus, eating and touching him. They didn't know who he was. You can be in church all your life and never know Christ. You can be a pastor but you don't even know who Jesus is, but you know keys to success, you know steps to favor, but you don't know Jesus. Yeah. You can know all the keys to successful marriage but you don't know Jesus. You know, you don't have to be a Christian to have a good marriage; you just need a good head on your neck.

They knew everything but they didn't know Jesus. And they were even preaching Jesus to Jesus but didn't know Jesus. Yes, they were preaching Jesus to Jesus on the way. They said to Jesus, "Are you a stranger? Have you not heard about Jesus?" And they were talking to Jesus. That somebody is praying in Jesus' name doesn't mean he knows Jesus. You can be praying in that name with the loudest voice but you don't even know him. Very sobering.

To know that somebody can be in church, somebody can even be a bishop, a pope, somebody can even be anything—doesn't know Christ. So it's critical to come to this understanding: that the Bible is the book of Jesus. So Jesus turned to them and said to them, "Oh fools," he called them fools, "and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets, all that the prophets..." Because if you had been reading the Old Testament, you would have known that this is what the prophet spoke, but you read without paying attention.

"All that the prophets have spoken, ought not Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into his glory?" And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself. The Bible is the book of Jesus. If you read and you don't see Jesus, you didn't read. If you really read well, you will see him everywhere. He expounded to them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

So you must see the Christocentricity of the Bible, because the Bible is a Christocentric material that carries with it a Christocentric message, a Christ-centered message. And that is the link through the age: between Moses and the prophets, their link is Christ. Between Moses, the prophets, the Psalms, their link is Christ. Hebrews chapter 1, verse 1: "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us in his son."

That's the way it is in the original. In his son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds. So the way it will sound like is like God used to speak in divers manners, which is not the way it is in the original. Spoke through his son. A closer study of the book of Hebrews will debunk that understanding because the book of Hebrews makes you to understand that the manners, divers manners and ages with which God spoke, those manners are partial revelation.

Partial revelations of Christ. So the message never changed, but the mode of receiving the message changed over the years. At sundry times and in divers manners, the prophets spoke to the fathers. So the divers manners were the prophets' mode of communication. So the speaking was by the prophets, and the way they said it was in divers manners, the things they spoke about concerning Christ. This is why Jesus went from Moses and all the prophets and expounded—the word *Diermineuo* in the Greek, he interpreted—unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

They spoke in divers manners because their mode of receiving the message and their mode of disseminating the message is in partial revelation. But in Christ Jesus, God's purpose, God's intent, God's idea, God's mindset, God's architecture, God's design, God's plan, God's program was made manifest in the person of Christ. So Jesus is called the word. Not because he was speaking for God. Jesus was not speaking for God like a messenger.

Jesus is God speaking for himself. Jesus is God speaking for himself. The prophets spoke for him. When he showed up, being the word in their mouth, he took off flesh and spoke for himself. "I am the way. I am the truth. I am..." I don't have; I am the embodiment of the way. I am the embodiment of the truth. I am the embodiment of the life. So when he enters your heart, life has entered. He that has the son has life.

You can't have Christ and die. The day you receive Christ, you pass from death to life. You have eternal life. You are saved forever. You will never, never be lost. Jesus said all that the Father has given to me, none is lost. He said, "I have a commandment from my Father that anybody that enters my hand, I cannot lose him." Are you the one keeping Jesus or Jesus is keeping you? He said, "I have a commandment from my Father never to lose anybody that the Father has given to me."

So that's why Jesus said, "I give unto them eternal life and they shall never perish, neither shall any pluck them out of my hand. My Father that gave you to me is greater than all." He is able to save to the uttermost those who come to him by faith, since he ever lives to make intercession for them. Romans 8:31: "Who shall separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus?" He said, "Neither life, nor death, nor principalities, nor power, nor persecution, nor nakedness, nor sword, nor peril, nor things present, nor things to come..."

"I am persuaded that nothing in this world and nothing in the life to come shall be able to separate you from the love of God which is in Christ." Once you enter Christ, you have entered. Somebody said, "What if I change my mind?" You can't change your mind. The moment you enter Christ, he collects your mind, he gives you his mind. It is no longer I that lives, but Christ liveth in me. The life that I now live by faith, I live by the faith of the son of God who loved me and gave himself for me.

Stand on your feet; that's all I've got for you in this service. Glory to God. Lift your right hand and shout, "I am saved by Jesus. Eternally saved. Kept, secured, protected, preserved by Jesus himself." Now shout it very loud: "Salvation is of the Lord!" I didn't hear a powerful amen. From tomorrow evening, I'll begin to move into the legality and the vitality. I'm still laying some foundation, because the depth of the foundation will determine the height of the building. And since we're going for 30 days, we have to dig a bit deeper in the foundation.

Somebody shout, "I hear you." It's very important. Thank you, Father. Lift your right hands to heaven. Father, I pray for everybody in this building, online, in our house churches, campuses all over the world, everyone connected to this service. That this glorious light of the gospel of Christ, this glorious light of the good news of what Christ has done for us in his death, burial, and resurrection will rise big in the hearts of your people until nothing else matters.

I decree that veils fall off, barriers terminated, guilt and condemnation taken away, fear terminated, in the name of Jesus. I decree that the confidence of righteousness comes alive. We rebuke sickness, we rebuke disease. Every oppression of the devil, out in the name of Jesus! I decree that the favor of God is released upon you throughout the month of July. I declare that you will come into depths of understanding concerning the person of Jesus in the name of Jesus. Great grace is upon you. Great grace is upon you. Grace and peace is multiplied unto you. In the name of Jesus. And you will see the goodness of God and enjoy the goodness of God in the land of the living. Thank you, Father, for answered prayer. In Jesus' precious name. And every believer says that amen on a note of finality. Amen.

Praise God forevermore. Now listen very carefully, all of you online, all of you on radio, television. I'm going to round up this segment in another five minutes. Then we will switch to the other segment where we will now interact, answer questions, bring clarity to knotty scriptures, and clear all the doubts in your mind concerning certain things you have heard before about salvation and Christianity that you don't understand. That's the whole essence of 30 days, so that by the end you are established in your understanding of Christ.

I told them on radio, this is not about coming to Power City. We're not looking for church members; we have left that level. This is about you and God having an active relationship so that what Jesus died for is not wasted. So you can enjoy everything that Jesus has done for you, whether you belong to Power City or not. Power City is not heaven. Jesus didn't die for Power City; he died for the whole world. We have a mandate to reach the whole world.

Somebody shout, "I hear you." So it's about you and God having an active, vibrant, living relationship so that together we can brighten our world and bring into manifestation all that the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ has provided. Now today is our partnership service, and I want to use this opportunity to thank all the partners around the world, everyone of you in Power City who has given me money, supported us to put the program together, and those of you that are still supporting different aspects of the program and those of you that will still do even today.

I want to thank you. Thank you for believing in this vision. Thank you for believing in this house, thank you for believing in my ministry, and thank you for honoring Jesus and his finished work. Today is our partnership service. Partnership is a service where people intentionally take out of their resources an amount of money to support this ministry every month. And I want to thank you partners; you're the reason why we're able to do this all over the world. Without you guys, we couldn't come this far.

We have a mandate to reintroduce Jesus to this generation, equipping believers to know who they are in Christ, what they have in Christ, and what Christ can do through them. I want to pray for everybody at the same time as we give and honor what Christ has done. We give generously, we give intentionally, we give joyfully, we give cheerfully. There is no hard rule, just the way you propose in your heart, you just give joyfully. God loves you before you gave him anything. It's not your giving that makes God love you; whether you give or not, he has loved you. But when you understand his love for you, you respond to his love with your givings.

I'd like you to lift it up on TV everywhere. Let's pray. Father, thank you for the privilege to give. I want to pray for partners and kingdom investors today. Thank you for the opportunity we have to honor you and honor what Jesus has done and be responsible towards our collective responsibility of preaching the gospel to every creature. And as we give today, we give with joy, we give with hearts that are full of gratitude. And we thank you that our offerings rise before you as a sweet smell, an offering acceptable.

I want to pray for everybody giving an offering, a kingdom investment. Lord, I pray that each one of them, their needs are met according to your riches in glory. And I pray for partners, that God is able to make all grace abound towards every partner of this ministry. You will always have sufficiency in all things. You abound onto every good work. You lack nothing. I decree that you have ideas, concepts, insights, relationships, and the favor of God. You have direction and you know what to do, in the name of Jesus.

And we rebuke the devil's hands off your finances and business, in the name of Jesus. Thank you, Father, for grace. Thank you for the blessing and the opportunity to honor Jesus today through our givings and our commitments to this ministry. In Jesus' precious name. And every believer says a powerful amen.
