And we are having quite an amazing time. Amen. Second Timothy chapter 3, alright. I have Pastor Daddy Ken worshiping with us tonight. So it's good to have Daddy Ken with us in the house. Amen. Look, we're proud of you, man. Really proud of you and excited about what God is doing with you. And it's just the beginning, man. It's just the beginning. Recently, he was with Bishop Mike and preached for them and somebody called me from Trema and said, he preaches exactly like you. I said, yes, that's my son. Proud of you, man. Proud of you, proud of you. Praise God. Hallelujah. Alright, let's get into the Word. Second Timothy chapter 3 verse 15 and 16, PJ.

Guest (Female): And that from a child thou hast known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith, which is in Christ Jesus.

Dr. Abel Damina: Next verse.

Guest (Female): All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

Dr. Abel Damina: All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine. The word ophelimos, useful or advantageous. Number one, for doctrine. The word didaskalia, teaching or explanation. Now, when scriptures are taught, when scriptures are explained, because scriptures are are meant to be taught and explained, not just memorized, taught and explained. When scriptures are taught and explained, they will produce a second benefit, which is reproof. Reproof there is evidence. So, the scripture becomes, remains the only material where the evidence of our salvation can be found. The scriptures, not experiences, not feelings, not people's opinions, but the scriptures, which is able to make you wise unto salvation through faith, which is in Christ Jesus. So the scriptures build our evidence, build our persuasion in the salvation, so great salvation that Jesus has made available to us. And then in studying the character of God, where salvation is concerned, we began to say that when Jesus walked the face of the earth and was teaching, his textbook was Genesis to Malachi. When the apostles taught in their days, their textbook was Genesis to Malachi. So if we're going to understand the character of God, and most times, where the confusion is where the character of God is concerned, is the Old Testament books from Genesis to Malachi. Where there's a lot of killings, there's a lot of destructions, there's a lot of disaster. There's a lot of seeming contradictions which only exist in the mind of the reader, because of the reader's inability to understand that the scripture is an ancient material that was communicated to a world that is not our world, taught a people that was not us. An audience that understood the communication of that time, which is no more our communication today. The verbage, the grammar. And then of course, we talked about the historical context, the cultural context. We began to look at all of that. And in this study, we've looked at a number of that, and we are still looking at it. And we said you must sit where they sat, hear what they heard, then travel to our world today with that understanding, and look for verbage in our world that best gives you the understanding of what was communicated by the authors of the scriptures. Now, I like you to also understand that yesterday, we began to study the role of God in the plagues. And we concluded that the role of God in the plagues in Egypt was to preserve the children of Israel from destruction. We did a lot of exegesis, went through a number of scriptures to arrive at that position. And we said the one who destroyed via the plagues was the destroyer, not God. Now, in English language, this literally, this literary form or term is referred to as a metonymy. Let me spell metonymy for you. It's M E T O N Y M Y, metonymy. Metonymy is a figure of speech which involves the naming of a part for the whole. The naming of a part for the whole, or a whole for the part. Or a whole for the part. And that explanation or that description is from the Encyclopedia Britannica. Now, that is the reason why it was stated that God will smite, or God smote, or God said, I will rain down. It was because the disobedience or disregard was towards His words, towards His words that were spoken by His servant Moses. Now, when you read the narrative within the context of the entire narrative of the writer in the book, it is evident that the destruction was from the destroyer, and God's role in the entire narrative of the writer was to communicate His word via His servant Moses. It was to pre-inform them of an impending danger. God, as it is with His nature, He will inform or pre-inform of the impending danger. All the plagues. And then after pre-informing, He is now said to preserve those who trust in His saving power by harkening to the voice of His servant. And the servant of God in this context will be Moses. However, one can misinterpret the writer to think he implied that God was the one who brought the destruction via the ten plagues, because of lack of patience, because of lack of diligence in reading the entire book of Exodus contextually. Now, a similar example of Exodus 12:12 will be seen in the book of Second Samuel. Second Samuel, that's the second example, just like we studied Exodus yesterday. Second Samuel chapter 24 verse number one, PJ.

Guest (Female): And again, the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel, and He moved David against them to say, go number Israel and Judah.

Dr. Abel Damina: Now, so the above statement implies that God's anger influenced David to number Israel and Judah. God's anger. However, notice the writer's words in Second Samuel 24:10. Second Samuel, chapter 24:10, PJ.

Guest (Female): And David's heart smote him after that he had numbered the people, and David said unto the Lord, I have sinned greatly in that I have done. And now I beseech thee, O Lord, take away the iniquity of thy servant, for I have done very foolishly.

Dr. Abel Damina: And David said unto the Lord, I have sinned greatly in that I, in that I have done. And now, I beseech Thee, O Lord, take away the iniquity of Thy servant, for I have done very foolishly. So if David said to the Lord that he had sinned against Him and acted foolishly, it is not logical for the same Lord to have been the one who moved him in His anger to do the same thing that David described as sinning against the Lord. Reading another account of the same event, which was written by another, another author, which is Ezra, several years after, helps to understand what actually happened. So look at what Ezra said in First Chronicles, chapter 21 verse one. First Chronicles, chapter 21 verse number one.

Guest (Female): And Satan stood up against Israel and provoked David to number Israel.

Dr. Abel Damina: And Satan stood up against Israel and provoked David to number Israel. The word provoked, translated from the Hebrew word av, A V, which implies anger. Which implies anger. Then the word moved was translated from the Hebrew word suth, S U T H, which implies to instigate. The word Satan was translated from the Hebrew word Satan. Satan, Satan, which implies an adversary or to withstand, or to come against someone. So clearly, David was the one that got angry, not the Lord. It was David's anger. That's why David said, I have sinned, because that anger was David's anger. Look at First Chronicles 21:23 and 24, PJ.

Guest (Female): First Chronicles 21.

Dr. Abel Damina: Yeah, let's go.

Guest (Female): And Ornan said unto David, take it to thee, and let my lord the king do that which is good in his eyes. Lo, I give thee the oxen also for burnt offerings, and the threshing instruments for wood, and the wheat for the meat offering, I give it all.

Dr. Abel Damina: 24.

Guest (Female): And King David said to Ornan, nay, but I will verily buy it for the full price, for I will not take that which is thine for the Lord, nor offer burnt offerings without cost.

Dr. Abel Damina: Nor offer burnt offerings without cost. Also again, it was David, David who instigated, I mean, Satan who instigated or prompted David to number Israel. So David's action in anger was described as being instigated by Satan. Now, it's clear that the difference between Second Samuel and First Samuel will be the language of the writer. The language. Obviously, in Ezra's time, Hebraism must have evolved. As such, Ezra could make a distinction between permissive and causative tenses. Therefore, exposing Satan through the activities of man, David's anger. Okay. So there was already a clear distinction between the permissive and the causative by the time of Ezra. Hebraism had evolved. Likewise, God preserving the children of Israel from the plagues in Egypt, which represents their idols, some of the gods and goddesses which were worshiped in ancient Egypt, exposes the activities of the destroyer through the magicians and sorcerers in Egypt. And their worship of gods and goddesses, which is idolatry, which were a representation of the ten plagues that afflicted them. So the ten plagues, therefore, was the judgment of God on the idols in Egypt. The ten plagues, they were judgment on the idols in Egypt. Now, remember that God sent Moses to deliver the children of Israel from bondage and oppression by the hands of the Egyptians, and also communicated the covenant that He made with their fathers. He communicated the covenants He made with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Look at Exodus, the third chapter, the 10th and the 11th verse. Exodus 3:10 and 11.

Guest (Female): Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.

Dr. Abel Damina: Verse 12.

Guest (Female): And he said, certainly I will be with thee, and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee. When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, he shall serve God upon this mountain.

Dr. Abel Damina: Verse 13.

Guest (Female): And Moses said unto God, behold, when I come unto the children of Israel and shall say unto them, the God of your fathers has sent me unto you. And they shall say to me, what is his name? What shall I say unto them?

Dr. Abel Damina: Next verse.

Guest (Female): And God said unto Moses, I am that I am. And he said, thus shall thou say unto the children of Israel, I am hath sent me unto you.

Dr. Abel Damina: 15.

Guest (Female): And God said moreover unto Moses, thus shall thou say unto the children of Israel, the Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you. This is my name forever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

Dr. Abel Damina: 16.

Guest (Female): Go and gather the elders of Israel together and say unto them, the Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared unto me saying, I have surely visited you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt.

Dr. Abel Damina: 17.

Guest (Female): And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Canaanites and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, unto a land flowing with milk and honey.

Dr. Abel Damina: Unto a land flowing with milk and honey. Now, recall that Abraham believed in the voice of the Lord. Abraham believed in the law of God. Genesis 26:5 says, because that Abraham obeyed my voice and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws. So Abraham believed in the promise of God, which was fulfilled by, by, by the Messiah. Therefore, the preservation of the entire children of Israel during the ten plagues and their deliverance or their redemption from bondage and oppression in Egypt, prefigures, it prefigures the preservation of Israel from the plagues, their deliverance from Egypt, prefigures the deliverance and preservation of those who believe in the message of Moses and the prophets in the scriptures. It's a prefiguring of those who will believe the message of Moses and the prophets in the scriptures, concerning God's promise, which will be fulfilled by Jesus. Now, let's examine how this concept was taught in the New Testament. Pay attention. Hebrews 11:28. Hebrews chapter 11 verse 28, PJ.

Guest (Female): Through faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them.

Dr. Abel Damina: Lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them. The writer of the book of Hebrews evidently was teaching from Exodus 12:23. For the Lord will pass through to smite the Egyptians. And when he hear the blood upon the lintel and on the two side posts, the Lord will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you. Firstly, observe the words of the writer. Lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them. Lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them. Notice, he didn't say God destroyed the firstborn, rather he identified a he, a he who was responsible for the destruction. Now, the following are other translation of this same scripture that helps us to understand better. Let's look at a translation called the Darby translation. Darby, D A R B Y S. By faith, he celebrated the Passover and the sprinkling of the blood. That the destroyer of the firstborn might not touch them. That the destroyer of the firstborn might not touch them. There's another translation called ESV. ESV says, by faith, he kept the Passover and sprinkled the blood, so that the destroyer of the firstborn might not touch them. Then there is the WNT translation. WNT. It says, through faith, he instituted the Passover, and the sprinkling with blood, so that the destroyer of the firstborn might not touch the Israelites. So, the writer referred to the destroyer as the one who killed the firstborns. The destroyer as the one who killed the firstborns. Now, when you read the book of Hebrews contextually, the writer clearly explained who he that destroyer is. The one who destroyed. Hebrews 2:14, PJ.

Guest (Female): Hebrews chapter 2 verse 14. For as much then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same. That through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is the devil.

Dr. Abel Damina: That through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is the devil, and deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. In essence, the he that destroyed, that had the authority of death, clearly is the devil. The destroyer who brought diseases, who brought death, who brought destruction via the ten plagues in the land of Egypt, was the devil. The destroyer who brought diseases, who brought death, who brought destruction in the land of Egypt, was the devil using the plagues. Secondly, notice how he stated, he started the verse. Through faith, he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them. Now, it's obvious that he points to faith in preserving Israel from being destroyed by the destroyer. Faith was the catalyst. So God's role, therefore, was in preserving them, not destroying or killing the firstborns of the Egyptians. That was God's role, to preserve. He preserved. Also, the he, he, in the context is Moses. He kept the Passover. Through faith, he, Moses, kept the Passover. Now, it's important to ask here. By whose faith were the children of Israel preserved? God's faith or the faith of the Israelites themselves? Well, if you read clearly, Hebrews 11:28 and 29. Through faith, he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them. By faith, they passed through the Red Sea as by dry land, which the Egyptians as saying to do were drowned. So it was Moses' faith that the Israelites were preserved from the destroyer. It was the faith of Moses that carried them through the Red Sea. In other words, by harkening to the instructions given to them by Moses, they were preserved. By harkening, here Ken Copeland said, his wife Gloria said, when you read harkening in scripture, what God is saying is, hear Ken. I love that. Okay. So because they harkened to Moses, His words, they were preserved. So like we explained, it is evident that the one who plagued the Egyptians with sickness and diseases, and killed all the firstborn of man and animals, was the devil, not God. And that's why Jesus will teach in the same note, from Luke chapter 13 verse 10. Luke 13 verse number 10, PJ.

Guest (Female): And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath.

Dr. Abel Damina: 11.

Guest (Female): And behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity 18 years, and was bowed together, and would no wise lifted her lift up herself.

Dr. Abel Damina: The woman had a spirit of infirmity 18 years. And that demon sat on her spinal cord, turned her spinal cord to a chair. That demon sat on the spinal cord. And because she had to make a chair for him, he bent the woman. 18 years. She was carrying the spirit of infirmity. 18 years. No medication can cure such, because demons don't respond to injection. Antibiotics can't touch demons. One of the ways to know a disease is demonic is when all medical science fails, and when all natural cures fail. You know that there's a demon sitting there, and that is when to say, you unclean spirit, come out. This woman was bound by this spirit of infirmity 18 years. PJ, read verse 12 for me.

Guest (Female): And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him and said unto her, woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.

Dr. Abel Damina: Next verse.

Guest (Female): And he laid his hands on her, and immediately she was made straight and glorified God.

Dr. Abel Damina: Next verse.

Guest (Female): And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation because that Jesus had healed on the Sabbath day. And said unto the people, there are six days in which men ought to work. In them therefore come and be healed, and not on the Sabbath day.

Dr. Abel Damina: Next verse.

Guest (Female): The Lord then answered him and said, thou hypocrite. Doth not each one of you on the Sabbath lose his ox or his ass from the stall and lead him away to watering?

Dr. Abel Damina: 16.

Guest (Female): And ought not this woman being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo these 18 years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day?

Dr. Abel Damina: 17.

Guest (Female): And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed, and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.

Dr. Abel Damina: Observe the words. Ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound? In other words, Jesus taught that it is Satan who afflicts people with sickness and disease. It is Satan who afflicts people with sickness and disease. God does not use sickness and disease to teach people lessons. It is Satan who afflicts and torments people and keeps people bound with sickness and disease. And in her case, she was bound by the spirit of infirmity for 18 years. You can imagine 18 years condition in somebody's body. Unclean spirit makes that body a permanent resident. Another way to know that a disease is demonic is when the disease has stayed for long. Long. Defied all manner of cures. That's when to speak to an unclean spirit and a spirit of infirmity. Now, from Luke's narrative, it is evident therefore, that there is the involvement of evil spirits in sicknesses and diseases. There is the involvement of evil spirits in sicknesses and diseases. And this explains why Luke in his second treatise, wrote that Peter explained the same truth. How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power, who went about doing good and healing all. Watch, that were oppressed. All that were oppressed of the devil, for God was with him. From Peter's explanation, it is the devil that oppresses with sickness and disease. God's work, which was revealed in the humanity of Jesus, and his healing ministry is to heal the sick. Raise the dead. Cast out devils. Cleanse the lepers. That is the healing ministry of Jesus was a demonstration of a compassionate and loving God. Why does God heal? To demonstrate his compassion and his love towards man. That's why he does not only heal the Christian. He heals men. He heals human beings. Whether they are Christians or not, He heals because God loves the world. And if healing is a demonstration of God's love, and God does not love the church, He loves the world. Then he will heal both the believer and the unbeliever alike. Because healing does not have steps. Healing does not have keys. Just like there are no steps and keys to salvation. Which one is easier? Which one is easier? To say your sins be forgiven or to say, man, rise up, take your mat and go. But that you may know, that the Son of man has power on earth to forgive sins and to heal sicknesses. I do not only forgive you, stand up. Take your mat and go home. And the man stood up immediately. God heals as a demonstration of His love and compassion towards mankind. Now, so, oppression is of the devil. God wants people well. This implies that Jesus's healing ministry exposed the wicked activities of the devil. The healing ministry of Jesus exposed the wicked activities of the devil. This explains why several times in ministering to the sick and the diseased, Jesus exercised authority over evil spirits by casting them out. He exercised authority over evil spirits by casting them out. There's a scripture in the book of Psalms, honey, help me and studio. Find out if you can find that scripture for me, where God says, I do whatever I please. I do whatever I please. I need to fix that verse. I do whatever I please. It's in Psalms. Doctor Give. Why are you closing your eyes? Look for that scripture. We need to fix it. I the Lord, I do whatever I please. I think it's in Psalms. It's Isaiah. Isaiah what? 45 verse one. I the Lord, I do whatever I please. While they are looking for it, the rest of you, let's continue. I didn't call your name. So Jesus' healing ministry exposed the wicked activities of the devil. Okay. This is, okay. Declaring the, sorry.

Guest (Male): Uh.

Dr. Abel Damina: Verse seven. Okay, let's start from verse seven. Does anybody have the one in Psalms?

Guest (Male): Uh.

Dr. Abel Damina: Psalm what?

Guest (Male): 115.

Dr. Abel Damina: 115. Verse three. Put it up. But our God is in the heavens. He has done whatsoever He has pleased. Somebody called me today, asking me, but, but you said that God doesn't, is not in control of all things. Then he quoted for me that scripture, that that archbishop quoted and said, God is in charge of everything. And that scripture is this one. Our God is in the heavens. He has done whatsoever He has pleased. So God does anything He pleases. And that is the scripture they use to preach the sovereignty of God, that anything God wants, He does. How do you read? Again, we say calm down. Let's teach you Bible. I don't want to calm down. You better calm down. When the scripture says, God does what He had pleased. The question will be, what is God's pleasure? What is God's pleasure? Down in River Jordan. The heavens opened. And a voice came out of heaven. This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. So what pleases God is Jesus. On the Mount of Transfiguration, when Moses and Elijah appeared, and Peter said, let's build three tabernacles. And Moses and Elijah disappeared. The heavens opened. This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him. So what has the Lord done that has pleased Him will be found in Christ. Which again, is confined to salvation. Oh, yeah, salvation. Somebody say, how do you settle that as salvation? Well, the book of Ephesians chapter one verse 11, PJ.

Guest (Female): In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him, who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will.

Dr. Abel Damina: He worketh all things. All. All things. All is all, even though all is not all. He worketh all things after the counsel of his own will. So all things are restricted to His will. What is the will of God? Who will have, who will, who will have all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. How do I know all the will of God? Salvation. Salvation. All of God's will is salvation. And salvation is the work of the Savior who is the pleasure of God. Salvation is the work of Christ who is the Savior of the world. And it's important, I take that scripture from them in abusing that scripture quickly and settle the matter. God doesn't do what He pleases. He has limited His pleasure to a person. Jesus is the pleasure of the Father. That's why that's why you yourself cannot please God outside Jesus. That's why it is not based on performance. You are not pleasing God because you did something. You are pleasing God because Jesus is inside you. Christ in you is the pleasure of God. Ladies and gentlemen, Jesus didn't please God because he did a miracle. Because when the heavens opened in Matthew chapter 3, he has not done any miracle. So it is not performance based. It is Christ based. Jesus, the pleasure of God. Jesus, the pleasure of the Father. I'm teaching good tonight. So when we deal with the sovereignty of God, the sovereignty of God is limited within the framework of His salvation plan. And it can be expressly seen in the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus is the revelation of the character of God. Jesus is the revelation of what God does and what God never does. God never does everything. There are things God does not do. He doesn't afflict with sickness. He does not steal. God cannot lie. So when we're talking about the sovereignty of God, we've got to restrict it to where the scripture restricts it, based on who God is, from the the law of Moses, right to the prophets, right to the apostolic writings. If I'm teaching good, can I have a good amen? So this explains why several times in ministering to the sick and diseased, Jesus exercised authority over evil spirits by casting them out. In Mark 1:23, there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit, and he cried out, saying, let us alone. What have we to do with thee, Jesus of Nazareth? Art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God. And Jesus rebuked him saying, hold thy peace and come out of him. And when the unclean spirit had torn him and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him. In Mark 5:2, Jesus cast out another unclean spirit. Mark chapter 5:2-8, you can read at home. Mark chapter 9 verse 17. And one of the multitude answered and said, master, I have brought unto thee my son, which had a dumb spirit. Verse 20. And they brought him unto him. And when he saw him, straightway the spirit tore him. And he fell on the ground and wallowed, foaming. Verse 25. When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit saying unto him, thou dumb and deaf spirit. I charge thee, come out of him. And entered no more into him. In Luke chapter 13 and 11. And behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity 18 years. Jesus said, loose her and let her go. Ought not this daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound these 18 years, be loose on the Sabbath day? Jesus is not the one binding, he's the one loosing. He's not the one afflicting, he's the one healing. He's not the one killing, he's the one giving life. He's not the one destroying, he's the one preserving from destruction. Oh, I feel like I'm preaching tonight. If you're understanding, shout, I hear you. Observe the words and phrases, utilizing all the texts above. Unclean spirits, dumb spirits, foul spirits. That's why I don't eat fowl. I eat chicken. Foul spirits. So, what are you doing like this? I was in Togo. I've told you the story, right? I was in Togo. We went to Togo for program. And then we got to the hotel. And because I don't speak French, so I had my son, a pastor in Togo, with me all the period. And then he said, papa, he started laughing in the restaurant. I said to him, why are you laughing? He laughed and shook his head. He said, you will find out in a few minutes. Then he brought the menu. And the menu was in French and English. Then he kept the menu before me. And he was waiting for me to see the items. Then I saw fowl. I said, what? I said, no, no, no, no, no. He said, that's why I'm laughing. I know you will not eat fowl. But there's fowl and there's chicken. I said, oh, so there's a difference between fowl and chicken. No, I don't do fowl. I do chicken. Cause fowl has a foul spirit. I'm just joking, you know. If you like fowl, you better go and eat your fowl tonight. Then there's dumb and deaf spirit, and there's a spirit of infirmity. Therefore, it's evident in the healing ministry that sickness was not from God, but the devil. God cannot be the one afflicting and oppressing and releasing. Observe His words concerning the devil. In Matthew 25:41, PJ.

Guest (Female): Matthew 25:41. Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.

Dr. Abel Damina: Everlasting fire is not prepared for man. It's prepared for the devil and his angels. Now, that statement, the devil and his angels, helps us to see that the spirits which he referred to as foul spirit, evil spirit, spirit of infirmity, deaf and dumb spirit, unclean spirits are the angels, messengers of Satan. All of them are messengers of Satan. They are angels of Satan, not God. The apostles in their letters also made this distinction. Second Peter chapter 2:4, PJ.

Guest (Female): Second Peter chapter 2 verse number 4. For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment.

Dr. Abel Damina: So there are angels who sinned that are reserved unto judgment. They are chained. What about Jude, chapter 1:6? It's just one chapter. Jude chapter 1:6.

Guest (Female): And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness, unto the judgment of the great day.

Dr. Abel Damina: Unto the judgment. So the angels who kept not their first estate. He has reserved them into everlasting chains under darkness. Revelation chapter 12 verse number 17. Pay attention. Revelation chapter 12 verse number seven, sorry. Revelation 12:7. Let's go.

Guest (Female): And there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon fought and his angels.

Dr. Abel Damina: Next verse.

Guest (Female): And prevailed not. Neither was their place found any more in heaven.

Dr. Abel Damina: Next verse.

Guest (Female): And the great dragon was cast out. That old serpent, called the devil and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world. He was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Dr. Abel Damina: So consistently in the synoptic account, the writers explained how Jesus unveiled the devil. For instance, after he was baptized by John, in Matthew chapter 4:1. Then was Jesus led up of the spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. Verse three. And when the tempter came to him, when the tempter, God is not the tempter. There is a tempter. Let no man say, when he's tempted, I'm tempted of God, for God cannot be tempted with evil. Neither does he tempt any man. So, it was the tempter. Somebody say, the tempter. You can read Luke 4:1 and 2 when you get home. And Mark, chapter 1:9-13. So the writers explained the devil, who was the tempter, came to tempt him. Now, shortly before Jesus was captured, Luke 22:3. Luke chapter 22:3.

Guest (Female): Then entered Satan into Judas, surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the 12.

Dr. Abel Damina: Satan entered into Judas. Satan entered into Judas. But you will not see Satan. You will see Judas in action. But you will know that the person behind the actions of Judas was Satan. Okay? That's why Judas couldn't have been born again. He couldn't have been born again, because a born-again man, Satan does not enter him, because Christ lives there. Say, I hear you. Look at John 12:30, I mean, John 13:27. John 13:27, PJ.

Guest (Female): And after the sop, Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, that thou doest, do quickly.

Dr. Abel Damina: That thou doest, do quickly. And the writer explained that it was Satan who entered into Judas' heart. Now, look at Jesus' prayer for Peter and the others. Luke 22:31. Luke chapter 22 verse 31.

Guest (Female): And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat.

Dr. Abel Damina: Observe His words to Peter. Satan desired to sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you. They also explained that Jesus unveiled the devil in his teachings. I mean, from the gospels, from the epistles, even from the Old Testament, you can see the consistent character of God, and you can see the destructive nature of the devil. It's clear. It only takes a poor Bible teacher to confuse you about God's character. It takes a wicked man of God who has enjoyed intimidating his members, intimidating them, by telling them to be aware of the toilet. That if somebody comes to your house and enters your toilet, when he's flushing it, he's flushing out your your success. He's flushing out your good luck. So protect your toilet. So that means you have received a toilet ministry. You must always sit at the toilet. That doesn't sound like Jesus. My yoke is easy. My body is light. No wonder that man of God believed that God does all things. In his church, he trains his people to kill. He himself is a killer. He prays for people to kill. Fall and die. You will die. Die. Die. You see his eyes coming out of his socket. Die. Die. Those operations emanate from his useless theology, of a God that does what He pleases. And he has not killed him yet. That God that does what is pleased, has not killed him yet. He is too powerful for God. God cannot kill him. But God can kill others that he does not like. God loves him so much that because of him, any attempt, he will send God like an error boy to kill. He's the one with the remote control of God. He has the mum button of God in his hand. If he just presses, God becomes a mum, and he goes around to do what he wants. Yet, he says God does what he pleases. How many. If he vexes you, leave that church and study well. Leave that place. Where they are dolling you, your IQ is so dull. Even in the place of work, where you're supposed to read book and understand, you're speaking in tongues. And you're having nine, zero over nine. And your friend who does not know tongues, is having nine over nine. And you're saying there's a witch from the village. Look at the extent to which people are damaged. Instead of you to agree that you did not read well. Now you have to blame it to the village, because none of us know your village. But I have news for you. The knowledge of the glory of the Lord is filling the earth as the water covers the. Glory to God. Glory to God. And the eyes of men's understanding is being enlightened. We keep preaching, we keep teaching. We're not going to relent. We're not going to stop. We are in this for life until Jesus and Jesus alone is glorified. If I'm teaching good, shout, I hear you. Please, sit down. Let's finish this thing. The character of God is critical. And it's important we throw light on anything that is contrary to the character of God. It's important we stop these assassins. From assassinating the character of our loving Father. Because God will not speak for himself. We have to speak for him. We are his voice on the earth. And if we keep quiet, wrong preachers will, will, they will muddy this thing. They will muddy it. We are God's voice. And they can't shut us down. The more they try to shut us down, the louder our voice becomes. Some of them throw shades at me. So I can answer them so they can have more following on social media. I refuse to answer you. Not everybody we answer. Some of them even in their house, nobody's answering them. So when they insult us, we don't see it. It's boiling inside me. Let me cross more. Glory to God. So this will be seen in their desires. Their sinful, wicked desires and activities. In other words, what Paul explained was in reference to the activities or behavioral pattern of men. Humanity, which is influenced by the devil. Who as the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now walketh in the children of disobedience to the gospel. It will be seen in their desires, their mindset, and consequently their actions. Which implies that sinful, evil, and wicked activities and interactions of men on the earth are influenced by the devil, evil spirits, and unclean spirits. They're influenced, influenced by the devil, influenced by his angels, evil spirits. That's why Jesus expressly stated when he was captured, in Luke 22:52-54, PJ.

Guest (Female): Then Jesus said unto the chief priests and captains of the temple, and the elders, which were come to him. Be ye come out as against a thief with swords and staves?

Dr. Abel Damina: 53.

Guest (Female): When I was daily with you in the temple, you stretched forth no hands against me. But this is your hour, and the power of darkness.

Dr. Abel Damina: Next verse.

Guest (Female): Then took they him and led him and brought him into the high priest's house, and Peter followed afar off.

Dr. Abel Damina: But this is your hour, and the power of darkness. Observe that Jesus spoke to the men, the chief priests, the captains, the elders, the soldiers that captured him. When they came in their band and captured him, he said to them, this is your hour, and the power of darkness. That means, you are not the one capturing me. Is the power of darkness that is capturing me. No wonder you will say, had the princes of this world known. They will not have crucified the Lord of glory. Which implies that they took actions they were not aware of the consequences. Which means they were under an influence. The prince of the power of the air, the God of this world, the spirit that works in the children of disobedience. The authority of darkness was the influence they were working under. So Jesus's crucifixion was done by men in position of authority, who were influenced by the devil. Now, as I wrap up this service. In Matthew's account, he began to write about Jesus at the Passover. Jesus took bread, broke it and blessed it. This is my body, broken for you. This is my body, broken for you. He came to consummate what they were doing for years. The Passover was a feast of Jewish people, and they were doing the Passover for years. So Jesus came to consume the Passover, because the Passover was about him. So look at the way Paul will put it in First Corinthians chapter 5:7. First Corinthians chapter 5 verse number 7, PJ.

Guest (Female): Purge out therefore the old leaven, that he may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us.

Dr. Abel Damina: So the Passover was a pointer to Christ. So when Jesus showed up, the Passover ceased, because the real Passover has been crucified. The whole essence of the Passover for thousands of years was a pointer to Jesus. Now, Jesus becomes our Passover. And our Passover is crucified for us. Our Passover has died and risen from the dead. So today, we are not passing over. We have passed over forever. We have passed over. We're not going to pass over. We have passed over forever. I feel like I'm teaching here. I said, I feel like I'm teaching here. Look at John 13:29. John 13:29.

Guest (Female): For some of them thought because Judas had the bag that Jesus had said unto him, buy those things that we have need of against the feast, or that he should give something to the poor.

Dr. Abel Damina: This is Judas. Okay. Look at Luke 22:29. Luke 22:29.

Guest (Female): And I appoint unto you a kingdom as my father had appointed unto me.

Dr. Abel Damina: As my Father has appointed unto me. I appoint unto you a kingdom. This is Jesus still speaking about his resurrection and about what he will do in his resurrection. I appoint unto you a kingdom. Look at Mark chapter 14:26. Mark 14:26.

Guest (Female): And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the Mount of Olives.

Dr. Abel Damina: 27. Now, they have sung and they went out to the Mount of Olives. Yeah.

Guest (Female): And Jesus saith unto them, all ye shall be offended because of me this night. For it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered.

Dr. Abel Damina: Next verse.

Guest (Female): But after that I am risen, I will go before you into Galilee.

Dr. Abel Damina: 29.

Guest (Female): But Peter said unto him, although all shall be offended, yet will not I.

Dr. Abel Damina: Next verse.

Guest (Female): And Jesus saith unto him, verily, I say unto thee, that this day, even in this night, before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice.

Dr. Abel Damina: Peter. Somebody say, Peter, Peter. Jesus said, Peter, you can't love me. It's me that will put my love in you for you to love me. Your love will fail. The love of man fails. So it is His love shed abroad in our heart that we use in responding back to him. And I have news for you. In all that Jesus did in his death, burial, resurrection. In fact, in his incarnation, death, burial, resurrection, is a practical demonstration of the character of God. The incarnation is God's character. The death is God's character. The burial is God's character. The resurrection is God's character revealed. It is within those activities that God's character is expressly made manifest. So you can't understand the character of God outside of the finished work of Christ. In his death, burial and resurrection, he demonstrated to us how God, how God values and how God places a premium on man. That my king will die for me. My king didn't ask me to die for him. That's counterculture. Isn't that counterculture? In today's world, the people die for the king. The people die for the king. But in redemption, the king died for the people. Even though the people may never be of benefit to him. He didn't die for you waiting to get anything in return. He died for you because of how much he loves you. That's counterculture. And that's the character of God. That's the love of God. That is how God wants us to see him. The Father who loves. But God commends His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Glory to God. I said, glory to God. Turn to your neighbor, say, hey, neighbor. My Father loves me. Loves me so much. He died for me. Not only died for me, he rose for me. Not only rose for me, he moved to live in me, because he can never do without me. He has loved me with an everlasting love. Glory to God. I like you to stand on your feet tonight, friends. What a service. Are you blessed tonight? Turn to your neighbor, say, hey, neighbor. I am accepted in the beloved. I am accepted in Christ. And I'm excited to be one with him. As he is, so am I. I didn't hear your amen. The love of God. The character of God, as revealed in the scripture. There is no death in God. There is no destruction in God. There is no evil in God. There is no disaster in God. None of the above. God is good. God loves. When you know God by this, your relationship with God becomes without any hindrance. Even if you have not prayed for some days, you just wake up and say, Abba. Abba, I'm still around. You're not afraid. That's your Father. That's your Father, He loves you. I feel like I'm teaching here. There's no special protocol. No special protocol in relating with Him. You just stand up. Father, I thank You that You hear me always. Thank You, Father. Hallelujah. Amen. Father, I pray tonight for everybody under the sound of my voice, in this service online, on television, on radio, that this revelation grows big in our hearts until nothing else matters. We pray for those that are oppressed of the devil. Every spirit of infirmity, come out in the name of Jesus. Deafness, dumbness, oppression, infirmity, long-standing diseases, loose your hold and come out in the name of Jesus. Sick bodies be healed. Be healed. Be healed. Be healed. You affliction, you oppression, you infirmity, you pain, you disease, you discomfort, come out. Come out. Come out in the name of Jesus. Wherever you're hearing the sound of my voice around the world, that condition that has made you uncomfortable, that has made your life unbearable, is leaving you now in the name of Jesus. Your body be healed. Your body be well. From your head to the soles of your feet, be healed. That little baby be restored. That oppression is broken in the name of Jesus. There's no distance in the realm of the spirit. God's healing power is flowing in your direction. Pain, go. Complications, go. In the name of Jesus. Paralysis be flushed out. Inabilities be corrected. Heart disease be corrected. Kidney be made whole in the name of Jesus. And Jesus healed them all. And Jesus healed them all. So wherever you're hearing the sound of my voice, you are healed right now. You are healed right now in the name of Jesus. Thank You, Father for answered prayer tonight in Jesus' name, we pray. And every believer says that amen on a note of finality. Well, go ahead and celebrate miracles and healings. Is that a celebration of miracles and healings, signs and wonders. Oh, glory, glory, glory. I said, glory, glory, glory. Move your leg, can it move? Move the other leg, can it move? Move your waist, can it move? What about your hand? What about your neck? What about your own? Can you move around? Glory to God. Somebody shout, my youth is renewed like an eagle. Now, I want to see some youthful renewal manifestation. Glory, glory, glory. Hey. Hey. Hey. Glory, glory. Glory. Hallelujah. If you're blessed tonight, shout, bless, bless, bless. Amen. Grab your honor offerings. Let's celebrate God's Word tonight. Those of you watching on on on on TV, grab your offerings. The banking details are scrolling online. The banking details are scrolling and thank you for supporting what we do all over the nations of the earth. Thank you for supporting us. We we love you and we're glad to know that you're learning with us. Lift your offerings up to heaven tonight. Father, thank you for the privilege to give. We give with joy and we're excited about what you're doing in us. We're excited about your word becoming life, your word becoming clear to us. We can see in the clarity of your word, your consistent character, your consistent love, your consistent nature towards us. And we're grateful that you are who you are, the anchor of our faith. And as we give tonight, we rejoice that more people in darkness will come to the light. Thank you for the blessing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Every believer says a powerful amen. Glory to God. Now, listen, online, television, radio, you don't want to go away. I'm joining Bishop Michael Bush in two minutes. Everybody in the house, you can be seated tonight as the basket goes around. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Oh, my goodness. The Word of God is life. The Bible tells us, the entrance of God's Word give it light and it give it understanding to the simple. As you keep listening, the light of God's Word rises out of the rightly divided Word of truth. It illuminates your mind, illuminates your heart and brings you face to face with your realities in Christ Jesus. In Ephesians chapter 3:3, brother Paul speaking about the mystery, the Old Testament. He said, whereby, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ. So there is a knowledge in the mystery of Christ. The word mystery is the word musterion in the Greek. It means that which is concealed. And then he says, how that by revelation, the word revelation is the word apocalypsis. It means that which is revealed. So the revelation of the scriptures unveils the mysteries. Revelation is the New Testament, mystery is the Old Testament. But it will take reading and learning to come to a place of full understanding, precise and accurate knowledge. Brother Daniel will say, I understood by books. So there's a place of books in equipping you soundly with the message of Christ. Brother Paul will write to Timothy, he says to Timothy, till I come, give attendance to reading. Jesus speak to the Jews. He says, you do err because you know not the scriptures, nor the power of God. Oftentimes, Jesus would say to the Jews, have you not read, is the word anaginosko in the Greek. It means, are you reading and are not paying attention? I want to quickly recommend for you a plethora of books I have written.
