Dr. Abel Damina: Father, we give You praise. Father, we give You praise. In the name of Jesus. Father, we rejoice that we have these another opportunity to come before Your holy precious written Word. Thank You that the mighty Holy Spirit lives on our inside. So tonight we receive from the more excellent ministry of Jesus, and we speak words which the Holy Ghost teacheth.

Thank You that with meekness we receive the engrafted Word, which is able to save our souls, and we declare that tonight there's no error in this environment, no limitation in this atmosphere. Whatever is not planted by God is rooted out. Bodily sin are destroyed. Sick bodies be healed. And we rejoice that by the end of this service we'll all be the better for it. So we give You praise, glory and honor for answered prayer in Jesus' name we pray, and every believer says a powerful amen.

Glory. Lift your right hands to heaven. Let's release our faith together, as we say these words, "I am born of God. I am born of the Word. The Word of God is my nature. I do not struggle to do the Word. I do the Word naturally. Therefore, today, I will understand the Word of His grace. I will be built up. By the end of this service, I will never be the same. Never ever be the same again. In Jesus' name, and every believer says a powerful amen. Glory.

Are we excited to study God's Word tonight? Are we excited? Can we celebrate our study with a shout and our fellowship with a celebration? Let me see some joy in this house tonight. Glory. Help me walk to two, three, four people, shake somebody, greet somebody, tell somebody, "You will be blessed because I came. You will be blessed. You will be blessed because I came. All right, 2 Timothy chapter 3 verse 15 to 17, PJ. 2 Timothy 3:15-17.

Guest (Female): And that from a child thou hast known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

Dr. Abel Damina: Next verse.

Guest (Female): All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

Dr. Abel Damina: And that from a child you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. Salvation is faith in Christ. Salvation is faith in Christ. How do we know about salvation? From the scriptures. You have known the Holy Scriptures, the sacred writings, the Heros grammar, which are able to make you wise unto salvation. The scriptures are able to make you wise unto salvation.

So salvation is known from the scriptures. It is a scriptural concept. It's not a dictionary concept or a personal opinion. Salvation is a scriptural concept. So you've known the Holy Scriptures, the word, you know your way around, you have become acquainted. And the Holy Scriptures are able to make you wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. Salvation is the work of God. We saw that in Jonah chapter 2 verse 9, salvation is of the Lord.

We've taken time to see what happened to men. In Romans chapter 5 verse 12, wherefore as by one man, sin entered into the world and death by sin. And for that, all have sinned. So man sinned by going against God's instruction. In Genesis chapter 2 verse 16 to 17, God said to man, "Don't touch, don't eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The day you do, you shall surely die." And that's where man died. And that death there is a separation. "Adam, where are you?" is a statement of separation. "Adam, where are you?" And Adam says, "I am naked." Naked because of guilt. And God said, "Have you eaten?" And Adam said, "The woman." So condemnation and blame games began to fly in the garden.

Then in Genesis chapter 5 verse 3, man's condition changed. Man became mortal. Man became mortal. In Romans chapter 3 verse 10. Put it up for me, PJ. Romans, the third chapter, the tenth verse.

Guest (Female): As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one.

Dr. Abel Damina: There is no one righteous, no, not one. Not one. No man can be righteous. Man cannot reach out to God because man is unrighteous. God is holy. So man became incapable of pleasing God. The Bible says you were dead in sins and trespasses. You walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience, among whom we all had our conversations in time past, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind and were by nature, the children of wrath, even as others.

PJ, Isaiah 64 verse 6, where it is written, where Paul was quoting from.

Guest (Female): But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags. And we all do fade as a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

Dr. Abel Damina: We are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are as filthy rags. Nothing man can do to please God. So God stepped in. God stepped in. Ephesians chapter 2 verse 4, "But God, who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He loved us." So salvation is God's work, 100%.

And a vital part of salvation is choice. In the book of John chapter 15 verse 16, John chapter 15 verse number 16.

Guest (Female): Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you.

Dr. Abel Damina: So, salvation is choice. You have not chosen, but I have chosen you. So in salvation, God chose you in Christ Jesus. In Ephesians chapter 1 verse 3 and 4, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in the heavenly in Christ Jesus, who had chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world."

So salvation is God's choice to save. Salvation is God's choice to save, independent of man's action. Independent of man's contribution. Man was not looking for salvation. It was God who invented. It was God who came about with the plan of salvation. Man was already doomed. Man was already gone. Man had already separated himself from God. Man was hopeless, helpless, incapable of approaching God. And then God decided to approach man.

In Romans chapter 8 verse 29 to 30, PJ. Romans 8:29-30.

Guest (Female): For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Dr. Abel Damina: Next verse.

Guest (Female): Moreover, whom he did predestinate, them he also called; and whom he called, them he also justified; and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

Dr. Abel Damina: All these are concepts of God's work in salvation. You were foreknown. You were predestinated. You were called. You have no work in salvation. He did the foreknowing. He did the predestination. He did the calling. He did the justification. He did the glorification. Your only part was to accept what He has done.

So what works together for good is the foreknowledge, the predestination, all of it work together for good. It's not talking about every bad condition, ugly condition, bad condition, all work together for good. No, that's not what he's talking about. What he's talking about here is where the salvation plan of God is concerned, that all that God did were going to work together for your good in providing you a reconciliation with God Almighty.

Now take note of this. Man's condition shows hopelessness and helplessness. Man's condition shows hopelessness and helplessness. Man's sinful condition was the legal ground for salvation to be God's work. Man's sinful condition was the legal ground for salvation to be God's work. Because of man's condition, salvation is God's sole responsibility. Because of man's condition, salvation is God's sole responsibility. And God's sovereignty, God's sovereignty, where we see the omnipotence of God, we see the omnipresence of God, and we see the omniscience of God makes salvation God's work.

God's sovereignty, where He displays His omnipotency, His omniscience, and His omnipresence, meaning He knows everything. He sees the end from the beginning. He sees yesterday from three years ago. Nothing takes Him by surprise. That sovereign nature of God is what makes salvation God's work. You know, everything that happened is not beyond His power, because God's will is that all be saved. And God is all-powerful to save. God is all-knowing to save. God is all-powerful to save. God is all-knowing to save. God is the Almighty.

Somebody said, "But how can God be the Father and the Son at the same time?" That is why He is Almighty. If He is Almighty, He should be anything He wants to be in a hundred places. If He is Almighty, He can be the God and at the same time the Son. God and at the same time the Son. Son there is not like a child. Son is the descent of deity into humanity. When divinity came into humanity is Bible language. That amalgamation of divinity and humanity is what is called Son of God.

That's why I say, as many human beings as received divinity on their inside, He gives them the power to become the Sons of God. Because a Son of God is one that has been joined with divinity. Is Bible language, is not your everyday English grammar, is Bible language. And we'll be looking at that, right, in this teaching. We'll be looking at language, verbage, grammar, the construction of the grammar, the world view, the culture, we'll be looking at all of that and we are still in it. We're not yet done, because there's quite a lot of parameters to cover.

So salvation therefore is God's sovereignty. God's sovereignty is seen within the framework of salvation. Not in making things happen anyhow. God's sovereignty is not seen in making things happen anyhow, do whatever He wants to do whenever He wants to do it. No, God's sovereignty is seen in the framework of His salvation. It is in salvation we see all His power, all His knowledge, and all His capability demonstrated in the salvation plan of God.

God, for example, doesn't tempt with sin. So God cannot do everything. God does not do everything. He doesn't tempt with sin. Number two, God doesn't get married. So God doesn't do everything. Number three, God doesn't go to school. He's all-knowing. So God doesn't do everything. I'm teaching good here. God doesn't lie. God cannot lie. God cannot be tempted. God cannot be tempted. So His sovereignty is not including anything He likes. No.

We began to look at the different concepts of salvation. And we said salvation is the word soteria, which means to preserve, to deliver, to save. To preserve, to deliver, to save. In God becoming a man, He became a man for a mission. In Matthew 1:21, "She shall bring forth a son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He shall save." He shall save His people from their sins. So we need to understand Bible words. Words that are used in scripture.

So we do not misconstrued what God was communicating through us, to us through those people whom He decided to use to communicate His thoughts and plan to us, the prophets in the Old Testament. Again, Hebrews chapter 1 verse 1 and 2. Hebrews chapter 1 verse 1 and 2, PJ.

Guest (Female): God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

Dr. Abel Damina: Next verse.

Guest (Female): Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the world.

Dr. Abel Damina: He hath in these last days spoken. He is not speaking, He has spoken. Jesus is God's last word. He has spoken to us in Son. Who is the Son? Whom He had appointed the legal owner of all things. Legal owner of all things. Which all things? He is not saying whom He has appointed the owner of the sun, the moon, the mountains, the rocks, the rivers. No. The legal owner of all things in this context means everything that the prophets communicated to the fathers, Jesus is the owner of those prophecies. Or Jesus is the fulfillment, the legal fulfillment of the prophecies that the prophets communicated to the fathers. Meaning Jesus is the revelation of God's plan. Jesus is the revelation of God's sovereignty. Jesus is the revelation of God's agenda. And Jesus is the revelation of God's character in humanity.

He is the legal owner of all that the scriptures have spoken. He's the legal owner of every prophecy in the scripture that God communicated. He is the legal owner of all things. So we began to look at, can a believer lose salvation? Well, let's begin from John chapter 10 verse 28 and 29, PJ. John 10:28-29.

Guest (Female): And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

Dr. Abel Damina: 29.

Guest (Female): My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

Dr. Abel Damina: For clearer English translation, AMPC, verse 28 and 29. AMPC, PJ. Let's go.

Guest (Female): And I give them eternal life, and they shall never lose it or perish.

Dr. Abel Damina: Wait, wait, repeat again, PJ, from the beginning.

Guest (Female): And I give them eternal life, and they shall never lose it.

Dr. Abel Damina: Can a believer lose salvation? No, sir. They shall never lose it. They shall never lose it, in black and white. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never lose it or perish throughout the ages. They shall never lose it. PJ, read on, to all eternity.

Guest (Female): To all eternity they shall never by any means be destroyed. And no one is able to snatch them out of my hand.

Dr. Abel Damina: 29.

Guest (Female): My Father, who has given them to me, is greater and mightier than all else, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand.

Dr. Abel Damina: No one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. So they shall never lose it. So when the scriptures now give an impression like salvation can be lost, what do we do? Again, I have always said if there's a seeming contradiction, don't overlook it, deal with it. And that's part of what we're doing here. So we began to talk about falling yesterday. Falling, where the Bible tells us, He says, "Take heed lest he falls." Again, let's go over it. 1 Corinthians chapter 10 verse 12. 1 Corinthians chapter 10 verse 12.

Guest (Female): Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

Dr. Abel Damina: Then we said the word thinketh, we always think fall. It means to lose salvation. But Christians can fall to sin. Christians can fall into temptation. Galatians 6:1, "If a brother be overtaken, ye that are spiritual, restore." That's falling. Falling. It means to be overwhelmed. James 1:2, "Count it all joy when you fall." When you fall into divers temptations. Count it all joy when you come against trials and temptations. So fall doesn't mean lose salvation. That term the scripture used for salvation is not to fall into, but to fall away. And you will never see the word falling away or fall away used for believers. Fall into is not fall away from. Fall into is not fall away from.

Then Jude chapter 20, I mean Jude chapter 1 verse 24. Jude chapter 1 verse 24, PJ.

Guest (Female): Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy.

Dr. Abel Damina: Unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, from falling. That word falling there, if you check the original is, "He's able to keep you from falling away." From falling away in the Greek. And then He will present us faultless. So I can never fall away. In salvation, I'm not the one holding on to God. I'm not the one holding on to God. He is the one holding me.

Philippians chapter 1 verse 6, PJ. Philippians, please pay attention, chapter 1 verse number 6.

Guest (Female): Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

Dr. Abel Damina: He who has begun a good work in you will perform it. You will not fall away. He will perform it till the day of Jesus Christ. 1 Thessalonians chapter 5 verse 23. 1 Thessalonians chapter 5 verse 23 and 24.

Guest (Female): And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Dr. Abel Damina: 24.

Guest (Female): Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

Dr. Abel Damina: He will preserve you blameless. You are not the one preserving yourself. He will preserve you blameless unto His calling. And faithful is He who calleth in salvation, who also Himself will do it. Salvation is 100% the work of God. I cannot fall away. Believers can fall into sin. Believers can fall into temptation, but believers cannot fall away.

Believers can make a shipwreck of their faith. They can make a shipwreck. 1 Timothy chapter 1 verse 20. That's another scripture they use to confuse people. 1 Timothy 1:20.

Guest (Female): Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.

Dr. Abel Damina: Deliver unto Satan, all right? Read the next verse, PJ.

Guest (Female): I exhort therefore that.

Dr. Abel Damina: No, no. Go back. Go back the verse before that one. Sorry. 1 Timothy 1:19. Good.

Guest (Female): Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck.

Dr. Abel Damina: Next verse. The people that have made shipwreck.

Guest (Female): Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.

Dr. Abel Damina: The word shipwreck. Holding faith and a good conscience, which some having put away concerning the faith have made shipwreck. The word shipwreck there is talking about false doctrine. These are already believers, but they believe in false doctrine. These guys have not been fellowshipping with other Christians. So they are making shipwreck of faith is not losing salvation. It means believing wrong doctrine. Wrong doctrines like, "You must give God something to move God." That is ship wrecking the faith. Preaching things like, "When praise is go up, blessings come down." Those kind of statements are false. That will shipwreck the faith of people, because when they sing that 12 hours praise and dancing and nothing happens, no blessing came down. Then they begin to wonder, "God, this thing, are You really there? Or should we look for another one?" You have shipwrecked their faith. They are still saved, but they are beginning to question things that they held on to. So you are shipwrecking their faith.

Or when you tell people things like, "The bigger your sacrifice, the bigger your blessing." So a man sold his house, sold his car, and brought it and is trekking for three years. And he's wondering, "God, the bigger, I gave You everything. Nothing left and nothing has come." Those things are false doctrines and they shipwreck the faith of many. So false doctrine can shipwreck the faith of a believer, doesn't mean the believer has lost salvation. All right? 2 Timothy chapter 4 verse 10, PJ. 2 Timothy chapter 4 verse number 10.

Guest (Female): For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.

Dr. Abel Damina: Demas had forsaken me, having loved this present world. He didn't say Demas has forsaken Jesus. He said Demas has forsaken me. They went for ministry. Because of the intensity of sacrifice of ministry, Demas said, "I don't want to do ministry. Let me go back and face my business." So Paul is saying, "Demas has forsaken me," because he's in love with income. He's in love with this present world. It's not a loss of salvation. Demas was not losing salvation.

Romans 12:2 says, "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed." So it is possible for a child of God that is saved to be conformed to this world. To be conformed to this world. That means it's possible to be, there are even Christians who rate the things of this world more. It doesn't mean you lose your salvation. It doesn't mean you lose your salvation. For example, right now, there are people that are not in the service tonight, just because of some worldly things, worldly engagements, worldly appointments. So when they looked at the things they will get there, it is of more value than eternal things. So they love this present world. But they are still believers. On Sunday now, they will show up. And when they show up, they will sit in front of you and make more noise than you. Meanwhile, they don't understand what we're talking about. You understand what I'm talking about? They have not forsaken Jesus, but they have forsaken, you know, their commitment to Christ. They have forsaken their commitment to Christ. They rate the things of this world more than what they will gain in the kingdom. All right? Disobedience to the Word and disobedience to authority.

Now so when believers are in disobedience, it demands discipline, not a loss of salvation. Discipline in the church. All right? So you can't convict the believer because Jesus has paid for his sin. The believer can no more be judged. He has passed from condemnation. He will never come into condemnation. He has passed from death to life. There is therefore now no condemnation for the believer. The believer is secured in Christ. I'm teaching good tonight. The believer is secured in Christ. Look at 1 Corinthians 15:33. 1 Corinthians chapter 15 verse 33, PJ.

Guest (Female): Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

Dr. Abel Damina: So a believer can communicate with people and his manners will be corrupted, but he has not lost salvation. He has not lost salvation. It's just that because his manners are corrupted, certain things he will have enjoyed, he may not enjoy them. So he will deprive himself certain privileges, but he is still saved. So he was referring to false teaching. Some folks teach wrong doctrine and are believers. They teach wrong doctrine. For example, Acts chapter 15 verse 1. Acts chapter 15 verse 1, an example of wrong doctrine. Acts of the Apostles 15 verse 1.

Guest (Female): And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.

Dr. Abel Damina: Can you see wrong teaching? Except you be circumcised after the manner of Moses, you cannot be saved. And they were teaching this to believers. No wonder Paul will write to the church in Galatians, "O foolish Galatians, who had bewitched you?" You began in the spirit. Are you now perfected in the flesh? Are you now perfected in the flesh? So believers can begin in the spirit and wrong doctrine can take them to begin to do something that does not look like Christ. Something that, look at that Acts 15 verse 5. Acts of the Apostles chapter 15 verse number 5.

Guest (Female): But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.

Dr. Abel Damina: That it was needful to circumcise them, another wrong teaching that came into the church. And to command believers to keep the law of Moses. So they were believers who believed. They were believers who are saved, but they were teaching them wrong things. And they were practicing these teachings, which were contrary to what Christ has done, but they are saved.

People who live in sin, Bible says, "Do not company or live with them." So there are believers who are saved, but they are still living in sin. And the Bible says, "Make no friendship with them." Some say, "Why are they living in sin?" Because they have not yet come to terms with their identity and the authority and the victory that Christ has given to them. Simple. When they begin to see Jesus and the victory He has given to them, it begins to affect their appetite, their thinking pattern, and it begins to affect their lifestyle. Look at 2 Corinthians chapter 2 verse 9 and 10. 2 Corinthians chapter 2 verse 9 and 10.

Guest (Female): For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things.

Dr. Abel Damina: Next verse.

Guest (Female): To whom ye forgive anything, I forgive also. For if I forgive anything, to whom I forgive it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ.

Dr. Abel Damina: For your sakes, forgave I the person in Christ. So there are believers that will misbehave. They will be disciplined, and after a while, we restore them to fellowship. They didn't lose salvation. Somebody will say, "Why did Paul say, hand over the person to Satan?" Well, to hand over somebody to Satan is not Satan as a spirit. To hand over to Satan is the word Satanas. It means hand him over to accusation. Somebody did wrong in the church and we discipline him. Don't protect him. Allow brethren to gossip him. Allow brethren to talk about it. Allow brethren to shame him. Allow brethren to laugh at him. Don't protect him. That allowance for brethren to laugh at him is Satan. That is handing him over to Satanas, to Satan, to accusation. Hand him over to mockery and laughter. That's the discipline there. But he is still saved. But now he is being laughed at, so that that, so that the flesh, not his flesh, so that the flesh, that mindset that brought that misbehavior can be humbled, shamed, and silenced, but the brother himself is already saved. Are we teaching here? If you're hearing, say, "I hear you."

All right? So the brother just needs discipline, but nothing has happened to his salvation. See, salvation is not affected by conduct. Salvation is not affected by conduct. In 1 Corinthians chapter 3 verse 3. Let's see where conduct does not affect salvation. Read for me.

Guest (Female): For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal and walk as men?

Dr. Abel Damina: This is conduct. There is strife. There is envy. There are divisions. So there's a display of carnality. A display of of of of sin, bad conduct, bad manners, bad behavior. But these people are already saved. They are already saved. So Paul said they act like mere men. Paul called them saints. Saints. But they are acting like mere men. They are believers who will act carnally. There are such believers. 1 Corinthians 11:13. 1 Corinthians 11 verse 13.

Guest (Female): Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?

Dr. Abel Damina: Next verse.

Guest (Female): Doth not even nature itself teach you, that if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?

Dr. Abel Damina: Now it's 30. That's what I was looking for. 1 Corinthians 11:30.

Guest (Female): For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.

Dr. Abel Damina: So there are believers who are weak. There are believers who are weak. Okay? So believers can be weak, but they're already saved. Believers can even be weak in faith. There are those that are weak in faith, but they're already saved. But they are weak in faith. And brother Paul called those believers weak. So all of these things I have listed do not amount to loss of salvation. Bad manners, bad conduct, weak, weak in faith, it does not amount to a loss of salvation.

Salvation is not in our hands. Salvation is in the blood of Jesus's hands. Now, are we condoning sin? We are not ministers of sin. We are not condoning sin, but we are showing you your realities, which is the power to live above sin. Galatians chapter 5 verse 19. Another scripture that they use to show that a believer can lose salvation. Galatians 5:19, PJ.

Guest (Female): Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

Dr. Abel Damina: Next verse.

Guest (Female): Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

Dr. Abel Damina: Next verse.

Guest (Female): Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Dr. Abel Damina: They who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Which means they who do such things have never inherited the kingdom. So which means those who do these things are not in the kingdom. This is the exhibit of an unbeliever. They shall not inherit. Okay? They shall not inherit, meaning they are not in the kingdom. It means to be given something you did not work for. Inheritance. They shall not access what Christ has done, because as long as they are in the works of the flesh, they will have no need to receive the grace of God where salvation is concerned. They shall not inherit. And he is not saying to go and get the fruit of the spirit so that you will inherit the kingdom of God. No. The fruit of the spirit are for those who have inherited the kingdom. You are not in the flesh, but in the spirit. So you have the fruit of the spirit. A man that is not saved is in the flesh. So then, they that are in the flesh cannot please God, but you that are saved are not in the flesh. So the works of the flesh is not the nature, in verse 19. He's describing the nature of the unbeliever. He's talking about the nature of the unbeliever, and then he now talks about the nature of the believer, or the work of the believer, which is in the spirit. So he was making a contrast between a man in the spirit that is saved and a man in the flesh that is not saved. If it's clear, can I have a good amen?

Guest (Female): Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

Dr. Abel Damina: Next verse.

Guest (Female): Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

Dr. Abel Damina: And such were some of you, but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. There's one Israel on Facebook. He says, "They are saved, but why are they still going back to sin? What do you mean by being saved?" Saved from what? Saved from sin and from Satan. They are saved from sin, from Satan, and from eternal death. They received eternal life. They received Christ. They received purity and holiness. They received perfection and sanctification in their spirit. But man is a spirit, soul and body. They are saved in their spirit, soul and body. In their spirit, they are eternally completely saved. In their soul, they are saved, but their soul is undergoing a renewing of the mind. In their body, they are saved, but their body is still mortal, subject to death. And one day, mortality shall put on immortality. But in their spirit, they are saved from everything. But in their soul that is undergoing renewal, there is memory. There's memory of the things they used to do before. That's why when you got born again, you did not forget how to drive a car. Even though old things are passed away. You did not forget how to eat fish and man soup. You did not forget how to eat pizza. You are born again, but you remember how to drive your bicycle, how to drive your car. You still remember your house address. You still remember everything because there is memory. The same way you remember all those things, is the same way you still remember sinful acts. They don't go at once. So that's why now you begin to behold the glory of God as in a mirror, and a transformation begins to take place as you come to terms with your identity.

And even the guy asking this question, examine your heart, there are some things in your heart that you are still struggling with. You're saved, you yourself. You're saved, but you still have issues. Because no one can be sinless in this body. We are not preaching sinless perfection. We are preaching Christ's perfection. I remember one time I had a ministers' conference with one of the persons, some of the persons in Nigeria that are regarded as the most holy. The most holy. And one of the pastors looked at one of them and said, "Sir, have you sinned today?" Because he's always preaching holiness, holiness, holiness. So one of the fathers, I was in that meeting, turned to him and said, "Sir, have you sinned today?" Direct. Then he smiled. "There's no man without sin." Then the other one says, "So what are we talking about?" It means none of us is going. It means none of us is going. That is why we must now rely on the grace of God and what Jesus has done. Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? By the law of works, may he, but by the law of faith. You see, so that you won't think I'm creating it. Let's read it together. Everybody, one, two, go. "Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works, may he." No, there's no there's no he there, it's may, but I added he. "But by the law of what? Faith." Abraham believed. Abraham is the father of faith and righteousness. But after he believed, he told lies. After he believed, he slept with his house girl. Did that unrighteous him? No. Why? Because in this flesh we make mistakes. That is why it is not, salvation is not dependent on us. It is dependent on Christ.

If it was dependent on us, we are doomed. I'm teaching good tonight. No one is righteous, no, not one. So Christ is made unto us righteousness. I know moralists are urinating now because suddenly, all their pride is useless. No boasting. No boasting. The law has concluded all under sin. All. No boasting. You can't score points. There was a guy called Mahatma Gandhi. Mahatma Gandhi was so pure that he became a religion. Yet, Mahatma Gandhi did not believe in Jesus. He never believed in Jesus. Okay, let me ask all a fair question. A man that is a moralist does not steal, does not kill, does not commit adultery, does not do anything evil, but doesn't believe in Jesus. Then a brother who believes in Jesus, but from time to time tells lies. From time to time cheats in his office. And he gives testimony as breakthrough. He used pen to cheat, but he gave it as breakthrough testimony. But he has believed in the work of Christ. He's filled with the Holy Ghost. This brother, this man, no morality perfect, but no faith in Christ. Both of them. If they die, who is in heaven? Some of you can't even answer. Because I need to renew your mind. The testimony man. You're sure? You're sure? You're very sure? You know, when I was young, they taught us a song, "If you do good, kingdom, oh, kingdom, oh, kingdom awaiting for you. If you do bad, no more kingdom, oh, no more kingdom." So all of you know that song. They taught us that song as children. And messed up our mind, that heaven is a, you know, is based on our good behavior. And some of us grew like that. That's why even now that we're showing you from scripture, you are still not accepting. You are still struggling, because. Leave them. Receive revelation. Glory to God.

Tell your neighbor, "Morality does not score points with God." Is only the righteousness of Jesus Christ, which is by faith, not by works. I didn't hear a powerful amen. Father, I pray for everybody in this building, everybody online, everybody on television and radio, that this revelation grows big in our hearts, until nothing else matters. Barriers are terminated. Obstacles are dissolved. Doubts are dissolved. Fear goes. You have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, but the spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, "Abba, Father." So tonight, Father, I declare that we rejoice with the joy of salvation, joy unspeakable, full of glory. And we thank You that we have eternity with You forever. In Jesus' name we pray, and every believer says that amen on a note of celebration. Go ahead and give Jesus the greatest celebration. Oh, my goodness. Is that how you celebrate in this building? Oh, my goodness. The Word of God is life. The Bible tells us, the entrance of God's Word giveeth light and it giveeth understanding to the simple. As you keep listening, the light of God's Word rises out of the rightly divided Word of truth. It illuminates your mind. It illuminates your heart and brings you face-to-face with your realities in Christ Jesus. In Ephesians chapter 3 verse 3, Brother Paul speaking about the mystery, the Old Testament, he said, "Whereby when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ." So there is a knowledge in the mystery of Christ. The word mystery is the word musterion in the Greek. It means that which is concealed. And then he says, "How that by revelation." The word revelation is a word apocalypses. It means that which is revealed. So the revelation of the scriptures unveils the mysteries. Revelation is the New Testament, mystery is the Old Testament. But it will take reading and learning to come to a place of full understanding, precise and accurate knowledge. Brother Daniel will say, "I understood by books." So there's a place of books in equipping you soundly with the message of Christ. Brother Paul will write to Timothy, he says to Timothy, "Till I come, give attendance to reading." Jesus speaking to those Jews says, "You do err because you know not the scriptures, nor the power of God." Often times, Jesus will say to the Jews, "Have you not read?" Is the word anaginosko in the Greek. It means, "Are you reading and not paying attention?" I want to quickly recommend for you a plethora of books I have written.
