Reintroducing Jesus, Beyond Religion

Dr. Abel Damina: Tonight, as you are in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, cleanses all of us. As the word comes with clarity, your people are built up and equipped. Whatever is not planted by God is rooted out. We rebuke infirmity and disease; lose your hold from the life of our viewers and listeners around the world today in the name of Jesus. We rejoice that by the end of this service tonight, we will all be the better for it in Jesus' precious name. Every believer says a powerful amen. Glory to God.

Lift your right hand to heaven, let's release our faith together as we say these words. I am born of God. I am born of the Word. The Word of God is my nature. I do not struggle to do the Word; I do the Word naturally. Therefore today, I will understand the word of His grace and will be built up. By the end of this service, I will never be the same, never ever be the same again in Jesus' name. Every believer says a powerful amen. Grab your Bibles tonight, let's continue on what we started discussing on the legal and vital work of salvation. Hebrews chapter 2, from verses 1 to 4. "Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. For if the word spoken by angels was steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward; How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will."

So we began to see there are actually two dispensations from what we just read. There is the word spoken by angels and under that dispensation, every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward. Then it says "how shall we escape," so there is an escape from the dispensation where the angels spoke and every transgression received a just recompense, and the escape is in the salvation that is provided by the Lord.

We began to examine the legal and the vital work of salvation and yesterday, we read from Leviticus and when we read the book of Leviticus, we saw a number of things that are critical and fundamental to understanding the subject of our study. Number one, we saw that there were two goats in Israel under the types and shadows. One of the goats was the sacrificial lamb, and the other goat was the goat of escape. So two goats.

Then number two, we saw that the sacrificial goat was to be killed for the sins of Israel, killed for Israel, and then the blood was to be smeared in the holy place, which allows Israel to approach the Tabernacle. Then the second goat, which is the goat of escape, hands were to be laid on it by the priest and the sins of Israel were to be confessed on that goat, and then the goat was to be released by a fit man into the wilderness. And that goat of escape that was to be released by a fit man into the wilderness was not supposed to be killed. It was to be released to go alive into the wilderness.

So the first aspect is the aspect of the sacrificial lamb that was offered so Israel can approach the Tabernacle. The second animal was the animal that was released into the wilderness, and what was outstanding with the goat of escape was the separation, not even the sins that were confessed on the head of the goat, but the separation that took place with that goat. Then we said that there are two vital parts or two important aspects of the sacrifice of Jesus. The first aspect is the sins of the whole world that Jesus took on his body because Brother Peter tells us he took our sins on his body. The other aspect is the Spirit of Jesus that was separated from the Father but not destroyed, separated from the Father but was not destroyed because it had to identify with our separated state from the Father.

So yesterday we established also that there is the bread, which is the body, and the blood, the two aspects. Then we also saw that based on that, there are two aspects to the work of redemption: the legal and the vital aspect. Let's look at another scripture quickly, the book of 1 Peter chapter 2 verse 24. "Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed." He bore our sins in his own body. So Brother Peter deals with the physical aspect, which was symbolic of the sacrificial goat that had to be killed because the body of Jesus died and the body of Jesus was buried.

Then there is the other aspect, which is the spirit side of Jesus where, of course, you have the soul in the spirit. And that spirit was the separation on the cross where Jesus said, "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" So there was a separation. Then yesterday we established that in Genesis chapter 2 and chapter 3, we saw that it was man that went away from God, and God went after man: "Adam, where art thou?" But on the cross, we saw that it was God that walked away from man, and we heard Jesus shouting, "My Father, my God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" Now, please stay with me because we're going to get into some very exciting times.

Brother Paul takes time to deal with the spiritual aspect of redemption. 2 Corinthians chapter 5 verse 21: "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." That is the spiritual aspect or the spirit of Jesus separated from the spirit of the Father. So there was a time when Jesus' spirit was separated when Jesus became sin, when Jesus became sin on the cross on our behalf. And this shows you the import, the depth, this shows you the width and the weight of God's love towards man, that God loved man so much that God had to go through all of that on behalf of man so that redemption is legal and so that redemption is vital. It wasn't a hijack; it was a proper work of God to free man from the imprisonment of sin and to give man the right to be able to come into sonship with God Almighty.

Remember that the spirit is not destructible. The spirit is indestructible. So the spirit was separated but was not destroyed. The body when it was formed, if you observe carefully in Genesis, when the body of man was formed in Genesis chapter 2 from the dust of the ground, the body was not mortal and it was not immortal. The body of man was not mortal and it was not immortal. Mortal means subject to death. Immortal means it's not dieable. When God formed man's body in Genesis, it was neither mortal nor immortal. So Adam by sin brought mortality. By the sin of Adam, mortality came into the body. "Wherefore, as by one man sin, and death by sin." So the sin of Adam brought mortality or death to his body.

Look at 1 Corinthians chapter 15 verse 45 to 54. "And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory."

At what point did man's body become mortal? Man's body became mortal when man sinned. Look at verse 55 of 1 Corinthians 15. "O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law." The sting of death is sin. So until man sinned, the natural body was not subject to death. It was the sin of Adam that subjected the human body to mortality. Verse 57: "But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." Glory to God. So we already have the victory. Immortality will swallow up mortality. At what point then shall we see that? Because a day will come when immortality will swallow up mortality.

Jesus' body was just about that; he slept, he was tired, he ate, he was in pain, he was hungry. That goes a great deal to confirm that he was a human, but he was not mortal because it is sin that brings the body to mortality, and Jesus was without sin. So he was not mortal. Remember, before the sin of Adam, man's body was neither mortal nor immortal. It was sin that brought death. Same thing with Jesus' body. Jesus' body was not mortal and it was not immortal. Since Jesus' body was not mortal, it was still human. He was born not of flesh nor of blood nor of the will of man, but of God.

So immortality will swallow up mortality because Jesus did not come from Adam. Jesus did not come from Adam, so it was a miraculous conception. He was born miraculously. That is why he is called the second Adam. He had the same attributes of the first Adam. The same way the first Adam was formed, neither mortal nor immortal. So when Jesus also was conceived by the Virgin Mary, he was neither mortal nor immortal. His body was not subject to death because he had no sin. That is why he is called the second Adam. Hence, that body will only be yielded to death. He would only yield it, not that death would take charge of the body because Jesus did nothing that would introduce death into his body.

So he would have to yield up his body to death. In Adam's case, death came by sin. In Jesus' case, he yielded that body to death; that is, he gave himself to die. He gave up himself to die. So that body of Jesus could never have tasted death till he became sin. It was when he became sin on the cross that his body now could taste death. These are very vital facts. So until Jesus died spiritually, death could never have entered his body. Until he became sin, or what we call spiritual death or a separation from God, death could never have entered his body. So Jesus gave himself: spirit, soul, and body. And remember, every time we say spirit, it involves soul. So Jesus gave up himself spirit and body.

Now remember that the second goat deals with the indestructible part of man. That's why it was sent to the wilderness alive because it deals with the indestructible part of man, his spirit. Even though it is separated from God, it is not destroyed. Even though the spirit of a man who is in sin is separated from God, yet that spirit is not destroyed. Look at Ephesians chapter 2 verse 1. The scripture tells us, "And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience." You were dead but you were walking.

Verse 5 of the same chapter: "Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)" He quickened us together with Jesus, meaning Jesus tasted the same death. He tasted the same death. That's why he quickened us together with Jesus. So if that quickening he is referring to was not physical but had an effect on Jesus' body, that death was not physical. The quickening had an effect on Jesus' body, then definitely the death was not physical death. The death was not physical death; it was spiritual death that resulted in physical death. It was spiritual death that resulted in physical death.

So when Jesus said, "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" he was already spiritually dead. He was separate from God, not for his reward but as a free gift. The separation was not a reward because Jesus was without sin. So the separation was Jesus being punished so that it would be his gift to mankind, his gift of love. So it was not as a result of a separation or a reward, but as a free gift to man. He gave that sacrificial death to us freely. He did not demand anything from us. That free gift of God is the death of Jesus by which we have eternal life. That free gift of God is the death of Jesus by which we have eternal life.

Having seen that Jesus died spirit, soul, and body, Jesus was still talking even after death. Even after he died spiritually, it was after he died spiritually that he said, "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" So even after he had died spiritually, he was still talking, just like Adam. After Adam had eaten and died, Adam was still talking: "I am naked, the wife you gave me." He was still talking because it is spiritual death that results in physical death. It is spiritual death that turns the human body to mortality. Spiritual death therefore refers to a state. He was made sin who knew no sin. He did not commit sin. He was made in that state, that state of sin.

Look at Isaiah 53 verse 4 to 6. "Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all." The word "gone astray" means separation from God. That is the spiritual part of his suffering. That is the part of Jesus that carried the greater weight of his death or of his paying the price for sin, the spiritual part of his suffering. He was made sin who knew no sin.

Now please pay attention. Look at Acts chapter 17 verse 26. "And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation." Made of one blood all nations. Paul is talking about humanity. One blood refers to humanity, one humanity. So in Hebrews chapter 9 verse 11: "But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building [physical building]. Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us."

When Jesus died, you remember that the temple was torn from head to bottom, and people were saying, "This must be the Son of God." It showed in the tearing of the veil in the temple from head to bottom that the Old Covenant had ended. That was the end of the Old Covenant. That was the closure of the relevance of Israel. There was no more dichotomy between the Jew and the Gentile. What demarcated the Jew from the Gentile was torn on the cross, so the Old Covenant and its relevance ended by the cross where Jesus settled the matter. But we know that Jesus' blood didn't end on the cross. The blood didn't end on the cross because the blood of Jesus is not the red liquid. The blood of Jesus is not the red liquid. The blood of Jesus is a spiritual substance, the spirit of man, or the spirit that came into the presence of God as the blood of all men. Not a type. It was not a typology; it was the substance itself, the spirit of Jesus. Not liquid, substance.

Look at Hebrews 9:12 and 13, it will make it clearer. "Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh." Now when it talks about the flesh, he's dealing with the flesh, he's dealing with the physical. Look at verse 14: "How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal spirit offered himself." So that's why we don't sprinkle the blood of Jesus. When you hear people say, "I sprinkle the blood," they are still wallowing in tradition and ignorance because the blood is not liquid to sprinkle. The blood is himself, and you don't sprinkle a person. "How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal spirit offered himself," not offered liquid. Liquid is matter. He didn't offer liquid; he offered himself through the eternal spirit or by the vehicle of the eternal spirit without spot to God, to purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God.

So the blood is not the red liquid that was poured when they were beating him. The blood is the spiritual substance, which is the spirit of Jesus. The blood is Jesus himself, the person of Jesus. He offered his blood to God, or he offered himself. Look at Hebrews 9:23 for more clarity. "It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than animal sacrifices. For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear." The blood did not appear, liquid did not appear. He himself appeared in the presence of God for us. He appeared himself; himself is the blood. "To appear," not the one made with hands which was typology, but the real deal. So he's referring to the spirit of Jesus appearing for us. He entered in with his own blood, referring to the eternal spirit, that indestructible spirit.

That live goat in the typology was separated for us and now brought before God, separated for us, appears before God for us. The body died, destroyed. The spirit separated, indestructible, to appear before God for us. This is the state of man. Man separated from God, man spiritually dead. But Jesus did it on our behalf, not as a reward for sin but as a gift for redemption. What Jesus did was not a reward because Jesus did not work for rewards. It is the wages of sin that is death, and Jesus was without sin. So his death is not a reward; his death is the price for redemption. His death is a gift; he offered it to us as a gift for redemption.

So Jesus offered his spirit and he offered his body. Sin was laid on his body. He broke his own body for our sin, but his spirit was made sin for us. His body was broken for our sin, but his spirit was made sin, separated from God for us, to appear before God for us, not as a reward for sin but as a gift of redemption. So when the Holy Ghost came, he will convict the world, if you remember that's what Jesus said in John chapter 16. "When he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will convict the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment." Why? Because I go to my Father. Notice: of judgment, of righteousness, of sin.

The Spirit will glorify Jesus. He glorifies Jesus in sin, in judgment, and in righteousness. He glorifies Jesus in sin, in that Jesus became sin and defeated sin. He will glorify Jesus in judgment, in that Jesus was judged for us and he took the judgment and dealt with it. He will glorify Jesus in righteousness, in that Jesus through becoming sin on our behalf made us righteous. So the Holy Ghost has one assignment: to glorify Jesus. Jesus is the sin of the whole world. Behold the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world. Jesus is the sin of the whole world. The same way that lamb is referred to as sacrifice, it's the same way Jesus is the sacrifice of the whole world. He accepts that sacrifice, that's why that lamb is killed. It is typical of the reward for sin.

The reward for sin is death. That lamb was killed. Separated. So when you look at the blood of Jesus, the presentation is that he gave himself. He gave himself a ransom. He didn't do what would kill him, so it was him giving himself. Adam sinned and death entered. Jesus didn't sin, so there will be no death. So since death cannot enter, he now offered himself as a sacrifice on man's behalf. And then when him and God were separated because of the substitutionary sacrifice, by reason of that separation, he died spiritually and because he died spiritually, he could die physically. Very, very fundamental details.

Now, pay attention. So Jesus gave himself so we can enter, not in the Tabernacle made with hands, so we can enter into heaven itself. Jesus gave himself so we can enter heaven itself. You do not make heaven because you work. You do not make heaven because you are a good person. All these people that go around shouting "may we make heaven at last," "oh my prayer for you is to make heaven at last," we do not make heaven at last. Jesus offered himself a sacrifice so that we can enter into heaven itself. So it is the sacrifice of Jesus that a man believes in that gives him direct access into heaven. It is not what he does, because if it was dependent on what we do, then Jesus wouldn't need to die. He would have allowed us to do what we can do ourselves and qualify. But none of us can qualify. So Jesus qualified on our behalf, and our faith in Jesus gives us that access.

So redemption deals with what was offered spiritually and what was offered physically. Two aspects: what was offered spiritually and what was offered physically. Physically he said, "this is my body broken for you, take it." It deals with physical things, our physical life on earth here, our consciousness, our feelings. The physical body of Jesus affects our physical life, our consciousness, and our feelings right into our health. He bore our sins in his body. So because of the body of Jesus, I have a right to physical healing. He bore our sins on his body. So because of what happened to his physical body, I have a right to healing. Because people are not taking cognizance of that, that is why many are sick. He said because they are not discerning what happened to the body of Jesus. They are born again, nothing changes, but they cannot partake of the health that the body of Jesus gives. Why? Because they are not discerning.

However, the blood. Notice he said they do not discern the Lord's body. Body. Body. That's why they are sick. He didn't say they do not discern the Lord's blood. Look at it, 1 Corinthians 11:23. "For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come. Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine himself... For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body."

He didn't talk of blood. He said for lack of discerning the Lord's body. Since the man did not discern the body, "For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep." Why? He didn't say because he didn't eat bread and Ribena. He said because they did not discern the Lord's body. The Lord's body is not bread. The Lord's body is that body that was broken, that body that bore our sins, not shadows but reality. Do not discern the Lord's body. The body, not the blood. The body is broken for you because the body deals with the physical aspect of redemption, things like your health, things like right consciousness. But his blood speaks of his life, his human life which was given to us. That blood was shed, and it's a fact that Jesus was a human being.

So what happened in the presence of God for us? He appeared in the presence of God for us, a human being, a complete human being. He is also the high priest. So Jesus is one goat, two goats, high priest. Jesus is the two goats and the high priest in one. He offered his body, which was destroyed in death. His spirit was separated and he went to hell. On the third day when he rose, he rose as high priest. In his physical death, sacrificial goat. Spiritual separation, goat of escape. When he rose from the dead, he rose as the high priest. Please follow this. That is the import of redemption. He appeared a human being and is also the high priest.

Now in the Old Covenant, they choose you from among the children of Aaron. No physical disability or deformity. Your body is perfect. You cannot be blind, you cannot be deaf, you cannot be lame. High priest had to be spotless before you are made a priest. Today, Jesus takes everyone who believes with their imperfection. He takes everyone who believes with their imperfection, with their weaknesses, with their mistakes, then he begins to perfect them. He receives you the way you are, then he begins to perfect you. He takes imperfect men, unclean men, and makes them priests. Then he begins to perfect them as the high priest.

There's no demand in the New Testament to be made a priest. The moment you're born again, you're a priest. But the moment you're born again, Jesus now begins to work his holiness in you. He begins to work it in you, for it is he that worketh in you. He doesn't demand anything of you before he makes you a priest. 1 Peter 2:9: "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness." So he called you out of darkness and he made you a royal priest. He called you out of darkness, he made you a peculiar person. He called you out of darkness, he made you a holy nation. It's not dependent on your conduct; it's dependent on his work. You're holy because of what he did. You're not holy because of what you did. He calls you royal priesthood, holy nation. Glory to God.

Why? Because you are as a result of his work. So Jesus paid for man with his spirit and his body. Remember, the sin of man affected man's spirit and body. So the price that Jesus paid for man affected man's spirit and body, just like sin affected man's spirit and body. The price Jesus paid affected man's spirit and body. Spirit and body. Remember, when we say spirit, it is spirit and soul because the soul is in the spirit. Spirit, soul, and body. Why? Jesus died spirit, soul, and body so that he can redeem man spirit, soul, and body. That's what makes redemption complete: spirit, soul, and body.

Listen carefully. So you are saved today: spirit, soul, and body. You are saved right now if you're born again. You are saved spirit, soul, and body because what Jesus did he will not do again. And if he did a perfect job, it means the effect of what he did has to be received complete. He wouldn't save your spirit and leave your body. He saved your spirit, he saved your soul, he saved your body. So the day you got born again, you were saved spirit, soul, and body. Now, look at this. Your body is saved. Touch your body, your physical body, say my body is saved. Say it again, my body is saved. Now say with me, sickness cannot stay in my body. Jesus paid for my body.

So you know what God said about man, from dust you came to dust you shall return. He's talking about the physical body of a man. But look at what Jesus did. 1 Corinthians 6:19: "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?" Somebody owns you. Verse 20: "For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's." Your body and your spirit right now has been paid for by Jesus. Jesus owns you spirit, soul, and body. You are bought, therefore glorify God. Sickness in your body does not glorify God. The more reason why you must make up your mind to resist every symptom. Therefore glorify God in your body, in your body, in your body. Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost? Where the Holy Ghost stays, sickness cannot survive.

Glorify God in your body. Your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost. You are bought. Your body has been paid for and the devil has no access. It has been paid for by Jesus. So Jesus has paid for your body, and the price paid is eternal. Asthma is not permitted to stay. Sickle cell anemia is not permitted to stay. COVID-19 is not permitted to ravage your body. Cancer and ulcers are not permitted to dominate your body. Why? They do not glorify God. So resist them and reject them occupancy. Your body is not the residential address of sickness, pain, and disease. No, your body is the residence of Abba. Abba lives in your body. Sickness and God cannot stay in the same accommodation. Light and darkness have never lived together. Therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.

That's why he said the dead in Christ. Why? Because matter is also indestructible. When your physical body dies, it has not died because on the resurrection day, your body will come alive exactly like this. Why? Matter is indestructible. That's why the dead in Christ shall rise. They shall rise. You will not be like this and on resurrection day you look different. No, you will rise exactly the way you are but in a glorified state. If you were blind, you won't be blind. If you were deformed, you won't be deformed. If anything was imperfect, it won't be there. You will come out on the resurrection day in a perfect glorified state. Even if your physical body was scattered after burial, they took part of the sand and took it to another part of the world, on the resurrection day all of it will come back together and you will rise incorruptible.

Redemption is total. It deals with spirit, soul, and body. Jesus was paid for you. He was paid for you and it dealt with different aspects. Your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost. So there's no need to sing songs like "Lord prepare me a sanctuary." No, know ye not that your body is the sanctuary of the Holy Ghost? So instead of saying "Lord prepare me," when you say "Lord prepare me," what you're saying is Jesus die again. He has already prepared you a sanctuary. You are the temple. So you sing, "you have made me a sanctuary, pure and holy, tried and true, with thanksgiving, I am a living sanctuary for you." You're a royal priesthood. You're a holy nation. You have made me.

Are we still in the building? Songs like "my body is your sanctuary, purify me," you have already been purified, zealous of good works. So Jesus bought your body. He bought it, he valued it with his blood. Your body belongs to Jesus. Sickness does not glorify God in your body. The body has been bought with the blood of Jesus. Look at Ephesians 1:13 quickly. "In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise." You were sealed. Look at verse 14: "Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory." So he says there's an earnest. The word earnest means something that is paid down, or the Holy Ghost is the down payment. The Holy Ghost is the guarantee that you have made heaven.

The Holy Ghost is the guarantee that you have made heaven. The day the Holy Ghost entered you by salvation, he guaranteed that you cannot be lost. The day the Holy Ghost entered you at salvation, he guaranteed that you cannot be lost. He's the earnest, the down payment until the redemption of the purchased possession. That is, there will be a redemption of that which is purchased. So there will be an actual release of your body. The redemption that is left is your body, changing from mortality to immortality. Why will it be redeemed? Because it has been bought. It has been saved.

Those of you remember back in the days when they used to have this promo, Pepsi Cola, Coca Cola, Mirinda, they would now say they're on promo. When you open the Coca Cola or Pepsi to drink, check the cap. Whatever is on the cap is your gift. Some people will have gifts, some people will not have gifts. Then they will say keep the cap. On a particular day, come and redeem it. But the guarantee for the redemption is the cap. If you lose the cap, you won't get that redemption. So on that day you will go with the cap. If what is on the cap is a car, you will give them the cap and collect the car. Your body has been sealed. Your body has been kept. This body is your cap that on the day of resurrection, you will trade this one in and wear the other one.

On the day of redemption. So already that you have this one and the Holy Ghost lives in this one, there is guarantee that the other one will not be denied you. That is what we call the rapture, the wearing of immortality on mortality. That a man that is born of God, a man that has the seal of the Holy Ghost cannot lose the rapture, cannot lose wearing the incorruptible. Why? Because of what Jesus has done. So there will be a redemption of that which is purchased. This body is still mortal until then. But when this mortality will be swallowed up of life, then there will be a full release. That is what Romans 8 calls the manifestation of the sons of God, the release of our body into immortality. The release of our mortal body into immortality.

That doesn't also mean that you should allow this body to be riddled with pain and sickness. You have the right to resist the devil and you have the right to take care of your body. Take care of your body. It's been paid for. Take care of your physical body. Make sure you enjoy this body while you're still wearing it. Am I communicating at all? So Jesus gave us eternal life, and how did he give us that eternal life? By the two aspects of salvation: the legal aspect and the vital aspect. The goat of sacrifice and the goat of escape, all in one body. His name is Jesus. And he is the high priest, high priest general of the church. He is the high priest of the church.

So your body is a living sacrifice. Your body is a living sacrifice. When Brother Paul said, "present your body as," the word "as" in Romans 12 is not in the original. What he has there is "present your body a living sacrifice." It has been made holy. Now that word "present" means acknowledge. Acknowledge that your body is already a living sacrifice. He said when you do that, it is your reasonable worship. Acknowledging what Jesus has made out of your body becomes your reasonable worship. The only action there is for you to call your body a living sacrifice. Call it. Acknowledge it. Don't call your body useless. It has been paid for. Call it a living sacrifice. Call your body holy because it has been paid for.

So remember, redemption deals with your spirit, your soul, and your body. Your mind is affected by what Jesus did. That is why you can have revelation. The man that is not born again, the god of this world has blinded his mind. The man that is born again has the mind, the ability to understand revelation. Your own mind has been unblinded because you're born of God. So when the gospel come, it unlocked your mind. So there's a legitimate entry into your mind by the word of God. That is why you can renew your mind. You can reshape your thinking because Jesus paid the price for a new way of thinking and for new thoughts.

So the gospel unlocks your mind because the price has been paid. What a great salvation. So when Jesus offered his spirit, he said God forsook him. When he offered his body, he died. But when he rose, he rose in his spirit first, then he took his body. So the resurrection of Jesus started with his spirit, which affected his body. The spirit is first, then the body followed. So when he was presented alive, his spirit was alive. That's why he say again, "this day have I begotten you." So Jesus actually died spirit, soul, and body. Wherever you're hearing the sound of my voice, the devil has no right to pain your body, to torment your body, to afflict your body, to torture your body. The devil has no such right.

Your body has been bought with a price. You have a right to live a maximum life, a life on earth in dominion, a life of authority by reason of what Jesus has done. Your mind has no right to be blocked. Jesus' resurrection unblocked your mind. You can access the deep things of God. You can access revelation. You can function in a world of ideas, concepts, and insights, and you reign in this life. Glory to God. You're not a victim, you're a victor. You're not under, you're over. You're not conquered, you're more than a conqueror. Greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world. You're bought with a price, therefore, glorify God in your spirit and in your body which are God's. Stand on your feet, that's all I've got for you in this service. Glory to God.

Father thank you. Lift your hands let's pray together. Father, thank you for everybody under the sound of my voice. We take authority right now over every influence and over every attempt of the enemy to interfere with the body, the health of anyone hearing the sound of my voice right now. You sickness and infirmity, lose your holds. In the name of Jesus, body be healed. Sugar diabetes out, high blood pressure out, sickle cell anemia we command a miracle in that body. Receive your healing now. Body be well, be made whole. Where you need a creative miracle in your organs, receive that miracle now. Organs receive creative miracles. Body be made whole in the name of Jesus.

Thank you Father. And we declare grace for everyone. Revelation knowledge like never before. The revelation of Jesus rises big on your inside until nothing else matters. Thank you Father for answered prayer. In Jesus' precious name. And every believer says that amen on a note of finality. Glory to God.
