Homecoming 2025 Par 4
Guest (Male): Exalted. We rejoice and we thank you that your spirit is at work. Giving thanks unto the Father, He has made us qualified to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light. Who had delivered us from the kingdom of darkness and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear son. We have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins.
Go ahead and give Him the praise and the glory. Give Him thanks. The counsel of God is finding expression. Give Him praise, the eyes of our understanding are being enlightened tonight. We stand perfect and complete in all of God's will.
We rejoice tonight because whatever is not of God is rooted out. We thank God for the gift of a pastor. We thank God for the gift of our father. And we rejoice because tonight revelation knowledge flows unhindered and uninterrupted. Give Him praise and give Him praise and give Him praise. Blessed be God forevermore. Blessed be God forevermore. He has begotten us unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus from the dead.
We rejoice and we give you praise. Blessed be God forevermore. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Can you just wave those hands one more time and give God a praise? My goodness, give Him praise and give Him praise. Thank you, Lord Jesus. In the name of Jesus, and every believer says a powerful amen.
Are we excited tonight? Are we ready for another outpouring? My papa, you are welcome, sir. I don't know about you, but I'm fully ready. Ladies and gentlemen, with Jesus' joy, your hands above your head, let's receive our father, Dr. Abel Damina.
Dr. Abel Damina: Glory. This excitement looks like it's only one-sided. Glory, glory, glory, glory. Oh my goodness, are you ready for God's word tonight? Lift your right hands to heaven, let's pray tonight. Father, we rejoice that we are found in you. Thank you for the privilege of family, the privilege of being together, the privilege of the union we have in Christ.
Thank you for our realities in Christ. And tonight, as we look into your word, revelation knowledge is gifted everyone under the sound of my voice. Whatever is not planted by God is rooted out. Burdens and yokes are destroyed. We declare that sicknesses and diseases are totally terminated. We receive miracles for anyone that is sick tonight. We command your bodies to be healed, your bodies to be well, in the name of Jesus.
Father, we thank you that your word covers the nations of the earth as the water covers the sea. By the end of this service, we will all be the better for it. So we give you praise and glory and honor for answered prayer. In Jesus' name we pray, and every believer says a powerful amen.
Glory. Lift your right hands to heaven, let's release our faith together as we say these words. I am born of God. I am born of the word. The word of God is my nature. I do not struggle to do the word. I do the word naturally. Therefore today, I will understand the word of His grace. I will be built up. By the end of this service, I will never be the same. Never, ever be the same again. In Jesus' name, and every believer says a powerful amen.
Are we excited to be in Homecoming 2025? Glory. I would like you to walk around five, six, seven people, hug somebody, love somebody, greet somebody. Just reach out, let somebody know you love them, you honor and appreciate them. Oh, glory, glory, glory, glory, glory to the lamb. That's why we came. We came to see one another, fellowship with one another, love one another. That is what the online people cannot have tonight.
Glory, glory, glory. Glory, glory, glory. Glory, glory, glory. Oh my goodness, I am so excited tonight. Hallelujah. Amen. All right, grab your pen, your notebook, your Bible. You can be seated with your sweet, smart self tonight as we get into the word of His grace.

I'm happy to see Dr. Iman Nabuko is with us tonight. So we will take time to recognize all of you at the end of this service. Let's get in the word.
Hebrews the second chapter, the first to the fourth verse. We are still examining Soteria season 12, the character of God in salvation. Therefore, we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. For if the word spoken by angels was steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward, how shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation? Which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him. God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to His own will.
Now, we began to look at the subject of salvation, so great salvation, the Greek word kraton, something beyond human imagination. And the writer of Hebrews says lest at any time we should let them slip. It's not the word that slips, it is we that slip away. Lest at any time we should slip away or we should wander away from this great salvation given to us by the Lord Jesus.
And then we began to see that the holy scriptures are able to make you wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. Which means the major theme of the scriptures is salvation. Salvation is God's purpose, salvation is God's plan for man, salvation is God's desire for all of humanity. So salvation becomes the central theme of the scriptures.
And the sensitivity of salvation is shown how we saw the subject of salvation handled in the early church among the apostles right in the book of Acts. We saw what Paul said about salvation, what Peter said about salvation. And we saw that even the Old Testament prophets desired to understand the subject of salvation. In 1 Peter chapter 1 verse 10 to 11, of which salvation the prophets have inquired.
So all the prophets of the Old Testament, beginning from Abel, were inquiring about salvation. Which means the entire Bible is a salvation book. The prophets, both major and minor prophets, have inquired and searched diligently who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you. And of course, you know that grace has to do with salvation, the grace of God that bringeth salvation had appeared unto all men. Which means the focus, the emphasis, the central theme of the prophecies of the prophets was the salvation plan of God.
All of God's intent from after Genesis chapter 2 is to save man. Genesis 1, God's perfect plan for man. Genesis 1, God's intent for man. Genesis 1, God's purpose for man. Genesis 1, God's dream for man. Genesis 1, God's desire for man. Genesis 1, God's intent towards man. Genesis 2, man is formed. Genesis 3, man falls. From Genesis 4 to Revelation 22 is God working man back to His plan of Genesis 1.
Did you get that? From Genesis chapter 3 to Revelation 22 is God's working to bring man back into the realization of His salvation plan in Genesis chapter 1, which man was formed in chapter 2 to fulfill, but man rejected the plan. So it's all been about God bringing man to His original plan of salvation. Then we began to reemphasize the sovereignty of God. And we saw that God's name I AM signifies His self-existence. His self-existence. He's the self-existing one. I AM, I am that I am, Ego Eimi. I will be what I will be in salvation. I will be what I will be in redemption.
Then we saw in Exodus chapter 6 verse 2 to 3, Yahweh is salvation. The significance of that. Yahweh is salvation, Yeshua. And then we began to look at words like Kings, we began to see Kingdom. And we began to say that that word king is the word Melek in the Hebrew, Melek. And then we saw Purpose, we saw Counsel. And we said all of these words are to an end, salvation. The counsel of God is not just a general counsel, it's the counsel of His will according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Christ from the foundation of the world, which is salvation.
From the foundation of the world because the lamb was slain before the foundation of the world, which is again salvation. When we say the will of God, the will of God is salvation. We took time to look at the counsel of God. The counsel of God is salvation. It does not imply God's control of every action, or it doesn't imply that God is behind everything. The will, the counsel, and purpose of God are plans. They are advice. They are guidance, not eternal decrees.
Every time you hear the will of God, the purpose of God, the counsel of God, that God is the king of kings, it does not imply that God controls every action or God is behind everything. The will, the counsel, the purpose of God are plans, advice, guidance, and not eternal decrees. We also saw that God is not tempted by evil, nor does He tempt anyone.
And then we began to see man's free will in action. Man's free will in action. Beginning from Genesis, Adam naming of animals, and God's instruction to man in Genesis the second chapter, the 16th and the 17th verse. Put it up for me.
Guest (Female): And the Lord God commanded the man saying, of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat. But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it. For in the day that thou eatest thereof, thou shalt surely die.
Dr. Abel Damina: Can you see that the first action of death is connected to man's action, not God's action? God is not the killer. God is not the one responsible for death. God never even created death. He said, "Man, if you take this action, what it will produce is death, and I don't want you to take the action." But man said, "No God, I want to take the action."
Wherefore, as by one man, sin entered into the world. Not by God, not by Satan, by one man, sin entered into the world and death by sin. Not death by God. Death by sin, not death by God. And so death, which is by man, passed upon all men. That is the proof that all have sinned.
So sin is the mother of death and man is the owner of sin. Man is the creator of sin. Man is the inventor of sin. Man is responsible for sin. God is not responsible for sin. So Adam chose the tree of the knowledge of good and evil by his will. Adam engaged the use of his will contrary to God's plan. He engaged the use of his will contrary to God's intent. He engaged the use of his will independent of God's counsel. And that engagement manufactured something in humanity that men wonder why God allowed. But God will allow what we allow.
Because the heaven, even the heaven belongs to God, the earth He has given to the sons of men. So critical to understand that therefore, even before a man was a sinner, God gave to man free will. Free will was not as a result of the fall. Free will is the way God intends for anybody called man to operate. God did not create a robot. He created a creature of choice. Man has the freedom to choose, to choose to serve God or not to choose to serve God. So man is tempted by his own lust. James 1:13, let no man say when he's tempted, "I am tempted of God." For God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth He any man. Every man is tempted when he's drawn away of his own lust. Now watch the next verse.
Guest (Female): Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin. And sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
Dr. Abel Damina: I mean, it's so clear. You need a pastor that is confused to confuse your understanding. When lust had conceived, it bringeth forth sin. And sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. For any man of God to accuse God of killings and death, he is indirectly accusing God being responsible for sin. There will be no death if there was no sin. Death followed sin, whether spiritual death or physical death. All of them as a result of the fall. If man never fell, there will be no death in humanity.
So God is not the creator of death. And the other day we took time to see all the things that God created and behold it was very good. And then God ended all His work which He had made and God rested until tomorrow, He is still resting. So there was no death in the list of God's creation. There was no death whatsoever. Yesterday we took time, we saw God is life and in Him is no darkness at all. In Him is life and the life was the light of men. He dwells in unapproachable light which no man can approach.
So it means therefore that God in His sovereignty gives man autonomy. God in His sovereignty gives to man autonomy. So man has capacity to respond, to respond to God or to refuse to respond to God, to refuse to comply with what God wants. Then we took time yesterday to begin to look at the will of God in details. The purpose of God, prothesis in the Greek, it refers to a resolve.
When we say God's purpose for your life, we are not talking about God's decree. No, we are talking about God's intent, which definitely is subject to your acceptance. God forces nobody to do His will, and God forces nobody to follow His plan. You don't have to. I remember back in the days in my father's church, we used to sing a song. He does not compel us to go. Oh no, He does not compel us to go. Oh no, no. He does not compel us to go against our will, but He just made us willing to go.
See some of my father's church members are here. He does not compel us, He doesn't compel. He only makes us willing. For Him to compel would be a denial of our will. He only makes us willing and if we refuse to be willing, He allows us to have our way. Teaching good this evening. Now, so the purpose is God's plan for salvation, not general events. Then yesterday we saw the will of God, thelima in the Greek, thelima, which refers to a moral will or Christ's desire to fulfill the Father's plan. And it is never used for a decree that must happen.
So Jesus's temptation is a very instructive issue where sovereignty is concerned. That He could have sinned, but He by His will, by an act of His will, turned down the option. Now man's accountability for sin also reveals to us that man has the freedom to act on his will. Look at it. God addressed to the devil, He says because thou had done this. Because thou had done this, which implies responsibility. And we saw right through to the days of Cain and the days of Abel.
Now there's a school of thought called the Calvinists, if you've heard about the Calvinists before. The Calvinists have a view. I'm neither a Calvinist or an Armenian, I'm just Bible. I don't take camps, I don't join camps. I don't have time for camps, I'm Bible. Whether it is Calvinist, Armenian, if it doesn't agree with the Bible, I differ. I stay with the word of God. Okay? So the Calvinists have a school of thought that says that a spiritually dead man cannot desire God.
But a spiritually dead man must be influenced by God's will. That a man that is dead spiritually cannot desire. That's one of the major school of thoughts in Calvinism. That because nobody contributes to his resurrection, so a man that is spiritually dead cannot desire God. It is on the basis of that that they have their election philosophy. That God has already elected those He will save and those He will never save because a spiritually dead man can never desire God. Now we're going to X-ray that school of thought. Are you in the house? We're going to debunk that whole thing right now with scriptures, of course, with scriptures.
Now spiritual death is separation from God, not cessation of existence. Spiritual death is a separation from God. It doesn't mean you ceased to exist. Spiritual death means you and God are separated. You are not united because you have rejected God's offer of life. So you are still existing, you did not cease to exist. Look at it the way the book of Ephesians explains that to us. Ephesians chapter 2 verse 1. And you hath He quickened who were dead in trespasses and sins. Next verse.
Guest (Female): Wherein in time past ye walked...
Dr. Abel Damina: So you were dead, but you were walking. So that means you didn't cease to exist. You were walking. Adam, the day you eat of it, you shall surely die. Adam ate, died. And God said, "Where art thou?" Adam said, "I am naked," but he has died. So spiritual death does not mean to cease to exist. It means to be separated from God. Because spiritually dead people are still existing. They walk, they drive, they eat, they have a job. They even come to church for Sunday service. Yes, they come to church for Sunday service and they act religious. You see?
And they even give testimony. "May God be glorified." A man that doesn't go to church all the time, he doesn't know how we used to say it, but he will say it in his way. "May God be glorified." Instead of saying "May the Lord be glorified." "May God be glorified. Praise the God." You will know he's a stranger to church, but he must identify. But you will see his baby steps. So it's not a cessation of existence, but a separation.
Because God continued to relate with Cain after his sin, giving him a chance to repent. Cain, the blood of your brother. "Oh my punishment..." God is talking with Cain. I thought you said a spiritually dead man cannot have anything with God. But God is talking with Cain. "Oh, my punishment is greater than I can bear." Uh-huh, the guy is dead spiritually, but he's talking with God. Adam is dead spiritually, but Adam is saying to God, "The woman you gave to me." So which means separation from God does not entirely mean that a man cannot respond.
Separation from God does not entirely mean that a man cannot respond to God. God continued to relate, giving man a chance to accept what he has rejected. Cain and Abel blame game, Adam and Eve blame game. Look at John chapter 5 verse 24. Are you in the building? John chapter 5 verse number 24. Verily, verily, I say unto you... Old English, for truly, truly I say unto you, emphatically...
Guest (Female): He that heareth my word and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life.
Dr. Abel Damina: He's not yet born again, but he will hear my word. He's not yet born again, but he will believe. Are we teaching here? So a man that is not saved can respond to the gospel. A man that is not saved can respond to the gospel of his own volition. Of his own will. He will not respond by force. Watch. Put it up. Put it up, you don't pay rent. Put it up. Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that heareth my word and believeth on him that sent me... this is Jesus speaking... hath everlasting life.
So he didn't have it before, but when he heard and believed, he now has everlasting life. Watch the next... and shall not come into condemnation. So what happened to him? By believing he is passed from death to life. So even though he's dead, he has the capacity to hear and believe and then pass from death to life. So that philosophy of Calvinism debunked. It falls flat without retirement benefits in the face of sound doctrine. We'll just pack it to one side.
I'm teaching good here. You saw Adam and Eve, you saw Cain and Abel, now you see Jesus speaking. We're taking time to establish doctrinally that that school of thought does not even stand a chance. Again, John 5:25 now. 5:25. Verily, verily I say unto you, PJ are you here? All right, read it for me.
Guest (Female): Verily, verily, I say unto you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the son of God...
Dr. Abel Damina: Who shall hear the voice? So the dead has the capacity, even though they are dead, to hear the voice of God. The dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God, and what happened? And they that hear shall live. That means they were not alive. They were dead. But when they heard it, because they have the ability to respond, they came alive.
So that already removes the school of thought that says God has already selected. He has... if He has selected, the dead will not hear. Only those He selected will hear. But now we see that everybody that is not born again has the capacity to hear and to believe. Whosoever. It's getting clear here. Whosoever. It says "Now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God, and they that hear shall live." Glory to God. I say glory to God.
So man, even though dead in sin, has not ceased to exist, still has the capacity to hear and to make the choice. God does not overrule any man's... you see, what I'm taking time to prove here is that God is not behind everything. That's the point. And the moment you know that, your power will come back to your hand. You will no more lose your power because the reason why you lose your power is because situations arise where you don't know whether it's the will of God or not. And when you are in that middle ground, Satan can take advantage of you.
But now you know beyond every shadow of doubt, this is the will of God. This can never be the will of God. This is the purpose of God. This can never be the purpose of God. This is the plan of God. This can never be the plan of God. This is the counsel of God. This can never be the counsel of God. When you know that, your power comes back to your hand. And that's what this is all about. Knowing the sovereignty of God and the character of God. And we've established that the sovereignty of God is only within the confines of His salvation plan.
I didn't hear a powerful amen. So God continues to relate with man, giving him a chance to repent. Let's look at Satan's role. Satan is the god of this world. And when we say the god of this world, we don't mean the god of this earth. The earth still is the Lord's and the fullness thereof. So Satan is not the god of this earth. Satan is the god of this world, the aions. This world, the aions, the mindset of men that contradict God. Satan is their god.
That's why he blinds their minds so that they will not believe the gospel. He controls their mindset. He controls their thinking pattern. That's why in evangelism, we war not against flesh and blood, but against imaginations, thoughts and reasonings, because that is Satan's domain. But by the preaching of the gospel, we disarm those mindsets and bring them under subjection so that the light of the glorious gospel will shine in their hearts. So Satan is the god of this world, not the god of the earth. 2 Corinthians chapter 4 verse 4, PJ.
Guest (Female): In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
Dr. Abel Damina: The mind of them which believe not. They are the only people that Satan can blind their minds. Because they've not yet made the choice, they are on neutral ground. Pending when they make the choice, then Satan loses all his influence over their minds. Because the moment they make the choice, their mind has been bought with a price. So from that moment, their mind is ready for renewal. So teaching now begins to bring their renewal.
That's why any sincere-hearted person that listens to what we teach, there's no way transformation will not happen. The only people that struggle with what we teach are people that have a hidden agenda, or they approach the word of God with a bias, or they have been polluted and messed up against the truth of the gospel. Or they love darkness rather than light because their deeds are evil. But if you are sincere-hearted and you are seeking for the truth, the Holy Ghost in you or around you will bear witness to the truth. Somebody say I hear you.
Okay, let's move now. So Satan is the prince of this world. John 12:31.
Guest (Female): Now is the judgment of this world. Now shall the prince of this world be cast out.
Dr. Abel Damina: Now is the judgment of this world. Now shall the prince of this world be cast out. Somebody say "Papa, please explain John 6:44 as per election in Calvinism." Put it up. John 6:44, then we come back to Satan.
Guest (Female): No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him. And I will raise him up at the last day.
Dr. Abel Damina: No man can come to me except the Father which had sent me draw him. How does the Father draw? Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. So as we are preaching, that is the Father drawing you. And the preaching is not to a group of people, the preaching is to everybody. So again, this scripture does not validate election, rather it validates God's plan for man in salvation. Is it clear? So let's go back to Satan. John chapter 14 verse 30.
Guest (Female): Hereafter I will not talk much with you, for the prince of this world cometh and hath nothing in me.
Dr. Abel Damina: The prince of this world, again referring to Satan's role. He cometh but look at it. If he comes, he has nothing in me. Which means Satan cannot come and hold you and say you cannot be born again. He doesn't have that audacity. Satan cannot put you down and say by force you must stay here. No, who dasheth him? Even God, God of the universe, cannot keep you down and say stay here. How much more Satan who is created? Someone say I was trying to do, Satan stopped me. Satan cannot stop you without your consent. Satan will only stop you if you give him the cooperation. So neither give room... that means if you don't give him room, he cannot take it. If Satan is that powerful, none of us will be here.
None of us will be here. The prince of this world came to me, but I don't have anything that he is looking for. His property is not in my hand and my consent to him has been denied. So he can do nothing around my environment. The will of man is the most powerful thing on earth. The most powerful. The most powerful. Look at all them, Elon Musks, they are showing you what the will of man can do. They create machines and go to outer space. They go to Mars and say look, the earth is full of too many people. We that are rich, let's create our own earth. And they are already exploring. They may eventually not get there, but they attempted. It shows you what the a man can do.
The will of a man, even God cannot stop it. Even God cannot stop man's will. If He could stop man's will, He would have stopped Adam from sinning. If God can stop man's will, everybody will be born again tomorrow. That's His will. Why did Jesus die? To save. Is everybody saved? There are people who die without salvation. Look at the parable of Jesus. The guy said, "Father Abraham, send somebody to go and preach to my brothers on earth because if they see a man from the dead, they will believe."
He said, "My boy, my boy, Abel is there preaching." If they will not believe Abel, even if a man from the dead come, he is not coming with extra anointing. Some of you think when people die and go to heaven and come back, they carry grace. They don't carry any grace. It's bad dream. Most of them is bad dream. Most of them is their doctrinal persuasion that plays out in the in the subconscious.
That's why they will see that some people didn't make it. You think God is a gossiper? So just because you arrived fresher, he now says, "one, two, three didn't make it, he doesn't have work." So God is giving you account. You are bigger than God. When you showed up God said, "My master, my master, let me give you the record of those who..." Can you imagine? Can you imagine? Can you imagine? Can you imagine? Say I went there and some women didn't make it because they didn't tie scarf. Sigh. Not of works, lest any man should boast. It is the gift of God. Glory to God. Glory to God.
Long ago, long ago, the old account was settled. Long ago, the record clears today that He washed my sins away. For the old account was settled long ago. Your sins and iniquities, I will remember again no more. Somebody shout I take my power back. I am in charge. Hey Satan, I am in charge. You cannot misbehave. I'm in charge here. Glory to God. You are in charge. Whatever you allow, God will allow. Whatever you disallow, God will disallow.
Sit down, let's push a little more. Let's push a little more. Let's push a little more. John 16:11.
Guest (Female): Of judgment because the prince of this world is judged.
Dr. Abel Damina: So the prince of this world, which is Satan, is judged. He has been judged. The prince of this world is judged. So he has the power of death. Okay? He had the power of death. Hebrews 2:14. Hebrews chapter 2 verse 14.
Guest (Female): Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same, that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil.
Dr. Abel Damina: That through death He might destroy him that had the power of death. Go ahead, that is... that is the devil. Jesus had destroyed him. He used to have, he doesn't have. What does the devil have now? Fiery darts. Fiery darts, tricks above all, taking the shield of faith wherewith you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. That's all he has, fiery darts, suggestions that contradict the word of God. He will look at you and say, "You're not well. You will die." He's suggesting. Because he can't force it, he has to suggest it. And he has to suggest it in a compelling manner so you can accept it.
But as long as you don't accept it, he has no power to enforce it. So don't give room to the devil. That's why even God cannot force you. God can't force you. I didn't say God may not, He does not force anybody. He can't force you. If God forces you, He has violated His word. He has put Himself where He cannot force anybody. He can only appeal to you.
That's why we're looking at the words that can be... that can confuse you. Counsel of God, will of God, purpose of God, the plan of God. Okay? Man's accountability. The sinner's ability to respond. Whether does he really have or he doesn't have? Now we're looking at Satan's role. He has no more power. Jesus disarmed him. That word destroy does not mean he is killed. Destroy means he is stripped. He has been stripped of everything that he was using as an armor against you. It's been collected. So he is armless.
So that's why he uses deceit. You know, when somebody doesn't have power again, he has to use manipulation. He uses deceit. Say, "Come, so you think you have made it? Uh-huh. Look at what..." He's just playing tricks on you. That's why you don't discuss with Satan. You have no conversation with him. Tell him "Shut up. How dare you? Are you not aware that the boss is around?" When it comes to Satan, you're the boss. When you comes to God, you're His son. When it comes to the brethren, you're a servant. Did you hear just what I said? When it comes to God, you are... I mean to Satan, you're the boss. When it comes to God, you are His son. When it comes to ministry, you are the servant. So you're boss, you're son, you're servant depending on who you are interacting with.
Colossians chapter 2 verse 14, PJ. Teaching good tonight. Colossians 2:14.
Guest (Female): Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross.
Dr. Abel Damina: He took it out of the way, nailing it to the cross. Jesus took it, everything that was against you, which was contrary to you. He took it out of the way, nailing it to His cross. Everything, handwriting of ordinances, the law of Moses, and everything that follows the law. It's been taken out of the way. Look at verse 15.
Guest (Female): And having spoiled principalities and powers, He made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
Dr. Abel Damina: Give me the AMPC of Colossians 2:15, there's something I want to highlight.
Guest (Female): God disarmed the principalities and powers...
Dr. Abel Damina: So spoil means disarmed. Disarmed. Have you ever seen where a soldier is disarmed? Or a police man is disarmed? Where he came with his gun and somebody slapped him from the back and collected the gun and pointed it at him. He would not only kneel down, he will lie down. Because without ammunition, he will be fired and he will be dealt with. That's what Jesus did.
He told Satan, "You're the one making noise since Genesis." And Satan said, "Look, I didn't steal it, it was given to me. It was legally given to me. I didn't steal it." That's why Jesus could not tell him, "Drop it." Jesus could not tell him "Drop it" because he didn't steal it. It was given. Luke chapter 4. Luke chapter 4 verse 6. It was given to him.
Guest (Female): And the devil said unto him, "All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them, for that is delivered unto me."
Dr. Abel Damina: For that is delivered unto me. If it was a lie, Jesus would have told him "Shut up." But Jesus didn't say "Shut up" because that's for once he he told a truth. But the truth is not complete, that's why it's a truth. He added lie to it, but at least that particular one is true. For it was delivered unto me and to whomsoever I will, I give it. I'm in charge. Which is true, because from after the fall of man, Satan began to take charge of man and controlling man, especially unregenerated man.
Yes, Adam gave it to him. Adam committed treason and handed over to Satan. He rejected God's offer and accepted Satan's offer. He was supposed to give Satan instruction, Satan gave him instruction. Just to spite God, he obeyed. That was the fall. For it was delivered to me. Now put that scripture up, PJ, read for me verse 7. Luke 4:7.
Guest (Female): If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.
Dr. Abel Damina: If you worship me now, I'll just give you. I'm the one holding it. I know you want it. Just kneel down, pretend that it was a mistake and I will give you. Next verse.
Guest (Female): And Jesus answered and said unto him, "Get thee behind me, Satan, for it is written, 'Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve.'"
Dr. Abel Damina: Get thee behind me. It is written. You worship me. And I'm sure Jesus is saying in His mind, "Even this one you're bragging of, me and you, I will trap you and collect it." Through death He destroyed him that had. For had the princes of this world known, they wouldn't have crucified the Lord of Glory. So in crucifying Christ, they facilitated their agenda of disarming them.
And having spoiled, disarmed principalities, powers, He made a show of them. He made a show of us, triumphing over them in it. We were the one that were the show. The disarming of Satan was the removal of us from him. And after we were removed from him, he made a show of us. And our show was the triumph of Jesus over Satan. So you want to know if Jesus defeated Satan, look at me. I am the trophy of that resurrection. I am the proof that He's alive.
Somebody say "Let's go to Israel and go and see the tomb of Jesus." I say no, it's too far. Israel is too far. If you want to know whether Jesus rose from the dead or not, I'm here. Come... come to me for pilgrimage. All that flight ticket and transport fare, just give it to me as a seed. And touch me, you have arrived Israel. Glory to God. I say glory to God.
So God has disarmed principalities, disarmed powers. Satan is toothless. He only goes about like a roaring lion. He's not a roaring lion. He goes like, seeking whom to devour. And he says you can resist him steadfast in the faith. Teaching good. So what about human rebellion? Well, people can choose to do what was right in their own eyes. People have the freedom to choose. Look at Judges 21:25. Judges chapter 21 verse 25, PJ.
Guest (Female): In those days there was no king in Israel. Every man did that which was right in his own eyes.
Dr. Abel Damina: That's people exercising their franchise. The freedom to choose. They did what was right in their eyes. Nobody forcing them. They did what was right in their eyes. So God's promises were given despite human rebellion. So therefore man is responsible for his actions. Someone say, "But didn't God compel Apostle Paul to be saved?" No sir. No sir. Paul was not compelled to be saved. What happened to Paul? Paul was slapped to stop persecuting the church.
He was slapped to stop persecuting the church. That's the only reason why Jesus appeared to him, to slap him and tell him "Stop that. You have persecuted me enough." Uh-huh, can't it ever be enough for you? You kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill. And what even got Jesus there was prayer. As the church began to pray, grant that with all boldness, we must look at their threatening, they are threatening us. When the prayer became enough, power was generated enough.
On the way to Damascus, those prayers... Jesus just showed up. "Hey Saul, Saul!" Bwah! The guy landed on the ground. Wow, on the ground. Somebody say, "So Jesus can slap." Go and ask Paul. But you say God does not kill. No harm was done to him. He didn't lose his eye, he didn't lose his leg, he didn't bleed. It was just an informational slap. Bwah! He fell down. Then he shouted, "Who are you, Lord?" He's not saying "Who are you Lord Jesus?" Uh-huh, that is whoever can hit me and I fall on the ground must be a Lord.
He said unto him, "Who are you, Lord?" And He said, and the Lord said, "I am Jesus." I love that introduction. "I am Jesus. Watch, watch, watch, whom thou persecuted." So the appearance of Jesus to Paul was to stop persecution, not to get him born again. Jesus preaches to nobody. Because no selection, no preclusion. He preaches to nobody. Men preach to men. Everybody that got saved, somebody had to preach to him. The gospel was preached to them as well as unto us.
Somebody, a human being preached. Put it up again. So Saul of Tarsus, it was... Jesus didn't appear to him to get him saved, He appeared to him to tell him "Stop persecuting me. It is hard for thee to kick against the pricks." That is you can't stop what I'm doing because I have a people that have agreed and cooperated with my plan. So no matter what you do, you can't stop this. This is a mission you cannot stop. But of course you know God wants people to be saved. So that also became an opportunity for him to be introduced to the power of God. Look at the next verse.
And he trembling and astonished said, "Lord, what wilt thou have me to do?" A man that has this kind of power, I want to follow you. I have power, oh, but this power is senior my own. "What will you have me do?" And Paul likes power too much. What will you have me do? And the Lord said unto him, "Arise." The Lord didn't say, "Believe me now you'll be saved." No, no, no. "Arise. Stand up first." That means he was on the floor. I thought he was on a donkey? No, he went to the floor. He fell under anointing.
He trembling and astonished said, "Lord, what wilt thou have me to do?" And the Lord said unto him, "Arise, go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do." The Lord didn't preach to him. He only warned him to stop persecuting us. Then he said, "But I want to follow." He said, "Okay arise. People that will tell you what to do is not me, they are there. Go to the city."
Because man is God's method. God can do nothing on earth without a man. I'm teaching good here. God can do nothing on earth without a man. Man is God's method. The earth He has given to the sons of men. So if you are praying that God should save somebody, the next prayer should be God should send laborers. God should send laborers. That's the only way God saves, by human instruments. That's how... that's how powerful God is.
He's not afraid of man's frailty. He still has faith in us. Everything He died for, He gave us to use it and bring people to His saving knowledge. And if there's nobody available to do it, God will wait until there's somebody. He is longsuffering. Somebody say I hear you. He is longsuffering. So God's promises therefore were given to man, but man is responsible for his actions. Look at Acts chapter 17 verse 28. Acts 17:28 to 31, PJ.
Guest (Female): For in Him we live, and move, and have our being. As certain also of your own poets have said, for we are also His offspring. Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold or silver or stone, graven by art and man's device. And the times of this ignorance God winked at, but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent. Because He hath appointed a day, in the which He will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom He hath ordained. Whereof He hath given assurance unto all men, in that He hath raised Him from the dead.
Dr. Abel Damina: So He commands every man to repent. How does He command men to repent? By preaching. By preaching. It's not some individual command. It's by the preaching of the gospel to all men. So sin is not from God. Sin is a function of a man's will. To accept or reject is a function of a man's will. Now in Genesis chapter 9 verse 6, we see the beginning of human government. Genesis chapter 9 verse 6, PJ.
Guest (Female): Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed. For in the image of God made He man. And you, be ye fruitful and multiply. Bring forth abundantly in the earth and multiply therein. And God spake unto Noah and to his sons with him, saying, and I, behold, I establish my covenant with you and with your seed after you. And with every living creature that is with you, of the fowl, of the cattle, and of every beast of the earth with you, from all that go out of the ark to every beast of the earth. And I will establish my covenant with you, neither shall all flesh be cut off anymore by the waters of a flood, neither shall there anymore be a flood to destroy the earth.
Dr. Abel Damina: So the earth has been reinforced, reenacted after the flood. The earth began and that is from where human government began. Now God instituted human government. God instituted it. Romans 13 verse 1.
Guest (Female): Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God. The powers that be are ordained of God.
Dr. Abel Damina: So the powers that be in government are ordained of God. Now the word ordained doesn't mean that it is God that plants them. Ordained means God allowed. Because actually the origin of human government was when God wanted to rule over Israel and they said "No, we want kings like other nations." And God said "Samuel, they have not rejected you, they have rejected me. Let them have what they want, but tell them this is the kind of king they should look for."
In His mercy, He still advised man. "These are the kind of people you should appoint to rule over you. Look for this, look for that. Don't look for that, don't look for that." He gave man guidelines to help man have the best within what is available. Because now God is no more ruling over man, God gave man the freedom to appoint people that will rule and create civility in the society, bring order, bring discipline in the society.
Now, so God allows for us to have human rulers and these human rulers are not the government of God, but God allows. God allows. Psalm 82 verse 6, PJ. Psalm 82 verse 6.
Guest (Female): I have said, "Ye are gods," and all of you are children of the most High.
Dr. Abel Damina: Now hold on, somebody's asking, "Papa, what about Jonah who refused to obey God and ended up in the belly of a fish, sir?" From Mabel. It is not God that put Jonah in the fish. When Jonah refused to follow the plan of God, outside the plan of God a fish swallowed him. He that believeth not is condemned already. The absence of God is darkness. God say go, he say I will not go. He went his way. And on the journey, how many of you observed that the ship almost capsized? That can't be God.
The storms, heavy storms. God is not behind storms. How do we know that God is not behind storms? Jesus and the disciples. "Let's go to the other side." And there was a storm. And the disciples were trying to pour out the water from the ship, it refused. Peter went down. Jesus was deep asleep. "Master! Wake up, wake up, wake up! Carest thou not that we perish?" Perish what? Perish? Stop that! Peace be still! And there was a calm. Because He's not behind storm. He does not use storm. He rebukes storms. Are we teaching here?
So in that ship where Jonah was, there was a storm. Because Jonah is out of the will of God, he has given room to the devil. And the devil now wants to take him out along with others. God's mercy. Jonah open his mouth and say, "You know what? I don't want all of you to die, oh. I am the problem. Throw me out, I'm not in the will of God. I'm the one that opened the door for Satan. If you get rid of me, Satan will leave you people alone."
They said, "No, stay we pity you." Jonah say, "Okay, I'm a prophet. The fact that I'm no more operating in obedience doesn't mean I'm no more a prophet. Thus sayeth the Lord, throw this prophet out." Throw this trophy out so that you can survive. Finally, they say "Okay, let's throw the property out." They threw their bags, threw their bags, the thing didn't stop. They say, "Well, bros, thus far have we come, no further shall we go. Vyap, vyap!"
The fish is the mercy of God. That fish is God's mercy. Didn't you see the fish did not digest him? What is that? And watch, the fish brought him to destination. It didn't carry him to anywhere else. Because the sovereignty of God will preserve. Did we say it will preserve? Did we say it will protect? What was that? The fish preserved and the fish protected and brought him eventually to his place of primary assignment.
And as he came out with his briefcase, new evangelist in town. Are we teaching good here? I mean look at this. So Jonah arose and went unto Nineveh according to the word of the Lord. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days' journey. Jonah went without planning, but mercy brought him. But God who is rich in mercy. And they look at Jonah having experienced the mercy of God.
See, that's why Jonah was the one who say salvation is of the Lord because he experienced it. He saw it, he experienced it. In the depth of the ocean, whales would have eaten him if not for that special fish of God. I wanted to say man of God, but this one is a special fish of God. It took him for three days and three nights, which was symbolic.
Which was symbolic of death, burial, and resurrection because the death, burial, and resurrection will be the salvation of man. It's all salvation. The whole Bible is salvation. Brought him finally to Nineveh after three days and three nights' resurrection morning to preach the message of his resurrection. But he went and changed the message. "Forty days! Nineveh shall be destroyed! Start fasting with your animals and children!"
And they began to fast. Forty days, nothing was destroyed. Jonah became angry. "You have disgraced my prophetic ministry. I shall no more prophesy. You didn't confirm the prophet's words." Son blasted Jonah, then God prepared something to cover him. Mercy. Then in the morning the thing was no more there. Then Jonah got angry. God said, "Uh-huh, Jonah? Doest thou well to be angry?" He say, "I do well to be angry even to death." That is I'm ready to die. My ministry has finished.
And God said to Jonah, "Doest thou well to be angry for the God which has been destroyed?" And he said, "I do well to be angry even unto death." Next verse. Then said the Lord, "Thou hast had pity on the gourd, for the which thou hast not labored, neither madest it grow, which came up in a night and perished in a night. And should not I spare Nineveh?" Shouldn't I spare Nineveh? Prophet? Prophet, shouldn't I spare Nineveh? That great city.
Now watch something, because I'm going to show you something in a few minutes. Watch something here. That great city, wherein are more than six score thousand persons. God is moved by crowd. When He sees the number of people that will perish, He will look for how to raise somebody to save some. Look at God was counting numbers. He says that great city, wherein are more than six score thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand, and also much cattle. Even animals attract the mercy of God. Much cattle. Next verse.
The word of the Lord that came to Micah... now you have entered Micah, we are finished with... that was the end. God say "I'm not going to kill. There are people that cannot discern their left from their right, that is their children in this city. How do you want us to destroy children? Innocent, who don't know anything? You want me to be cruel towards children? I don't have that kind of heart, I'm not like that. I pity them because these people don't know their left from their right."
How can we just destroy them? Which means God does not allow people to die until they know their left from their right and they have a right to choose. And if they die before knowing to choose, He takes them back to Himself. This covers the blind and the deaf and the dumb who cannot hear and who are unable to make decisions, including mental cases. Mad people who lack the mental soundness to make a choice, all of them are covered by God's mercy. In eternity they are with Jesus. Because there's compassion with justice.
Let's go back to our subject. I have answered this brother. We are solving issues, right? [tongues]. We saw [tongues] today. Me and mama we saw [tongues] today. You will soon understand. Glory to God. I say glory to God. So God's promises were given despite human rebellion. Man is responsible for his actions and human government came into play because God allowed men to rule men, but because men chose to rule each other, so God allowed. In Matthew 22:15. Matthew 22:15, pay attention. John chapter 22 verse 15, PJ.
Guest (Female): Then went the Pharisees and took counsel how they might entangle him in his talk. And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, "Master, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any man, for thou regardest not the person of men. Tell us therefore, what thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?"
Dr. Abel Damina: They are tempting Jesus now on government and the demands of a government in a city or a nation. Should we pay tax? Next verse.
Guest (Female): But Jesus perceived their wickedness and said, "Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites? Show me the tribute money." And they brought unto him a penny. And he saith unto them, "Whose is this image and superscription?" They say unto him, "Caesar's." Then saith he unto them, "Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's." When they had heard these words, they marveled and left him and went their way.
Dr. Abel Damina: They escape. Next verse. Shoe get size.
Guest (Female): The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and asked him, saying, "Master, Moses said if a man die having no children, his brother shall marry his wife and raise up seed unto his brother. Now there were with us seven brethren, and the first when he had married a wife deceased, and having no issue, left his wife unto his brother. Likewise the second also, and the third unto the seventh. And last of all the woman died also."
Dr. Abel Damina: That's right. Next verse.
Guest (Female): "Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? For they all had her." Jesus answered and said unto them, "Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven."
Dr. Abel Damina: So angels don't marry. For they are as the angels of God in heaven. So angels don't marry and angels don't give in marriage. So that's why you cannot have a spirit husband. Never. Because angels are spirits. You can't have incubus and succubus. He say give to Caesar what is Caesar's. Should we pay tax? Why not? Should we go and vote for a president we like? Why not? Why not? Does God select president? If God does, there'll be no election.
If God does, nobody will vote. Voting is an exercise of human volition. So which means it's our will that selects who governs us. It's not God. It's our will, He permits us. So that's why you can't say this president is the will of God. All of them are the will of God. Why are they the will of God? Because we made them the will of God by we choosing them. It's as easy as that. Someone say "But we are not involved in the process." Keep climbing, you will be involved. You're a local government chairman now, don't worry, very soon you'll go to House of Assembly. One day you will be INEC chairman.
And then you will look at what is not working and make it work, so it will help the system to be better. Another person will come and add one block, the system will be better. So it will keep getting better, better, better, better. It will keep getting better. It's true, that's the way it works. It will keep getting better. And if it doesn't get better, well Jesus couldn't change the government of His day. If Jesus who is God could not change the government of His day, are you better than Jesus? He was under a tyrannical government.
He was bad, even Paul couldn't change the government of his day. Even when he appeared before Caesar, he brought the gospel. He only preached the gospel, he didn't advise them on policies. He just preached and left because they can kill him. The only man who brought advice to government house, they chop off his head. His name is called John the Baptist. Be follower of those who through faith and patience inherit the promise. People like Paul, don't follow John the Baptist. He will die young.
He will die young. The president of a country... some pastors went to visit the president of a country and they wanted to advise him on how to win election. When they started, they say the president said to them, "Men of God, men of God, calm down. We are masters of the game. I didn't need your advice to win the other one, I don't need your advice for the next one. Just preach gospel, help the people of God. For government, leave that to us, we are the masters of the game."
If you are that pastor, wouldn't you be embarrassed? Even the water they give you to drink, you won't find mouth to drink it. That's why I don't get involved with politics. I just preach the gospel. When it's time for election, if there's any candidate that I agree with, I go and vote, I come back to my house, I eat afang soup with pounded yam. I don't have time for him.
Yeah, I pray for the country, I wish the country well. If I have any opportunity to influence something, I influence where I can influence. That's it. And I mind my business because I'm not in John the Baptist's WhatsApp group. I have a mandate. I have a mandate to preach the gospel. And I'm not about to enter prison and become a prison campus leader. No, I have the world to reach. Go into all the world and preach the gospel.
Somebody say I hear you. A word is enough for the bird. Let's proceed. I feel like I'm preaching here this evening. Glory to God. I say glory to God. Look at that John 6:44 as I round off. Are you blessed tonight? From tomorrow morning, we will start homecoming proper. Tomorrow Wednesday morning, Wednesday evening, Thursday morning, Thursday evening, Friday morning, Friday evening, Friday... I mean Saturday prayer cruise. [tongues].
If you don't get it, forget it. Then Sunday will be the final. Ah, as if this week should not finish. How many of you feel like that? This week should be stretched, oh. Father, elongate this week, oh. We don't want to go fast. No man can come to me except the Father which had sent me draw him and I will raise him up at the last day. PJ, next verse 45.
Guest (Female): It is written in the prophets, "And they shall be all taught of God." Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.
Dr. Abel Damina: So this drawing him to me will be by teaching. It will be by preaching and teaching. And every man therefore that have heard the gospel and have learned of the Father, they are the people that will come to me. So the drawing is not preclusion, exclusion, the drawing simply is the preaching of the gospel which gives men the freedom to hear, believe, and come. To make a choice. It's not compulsory. So the gospel has to be preached and preached the best way. Preached the best way.
Why do people resist the gospel? Well, hold on first of all. The statement again of believing and hearing and learning from the Father was made by Jesus's early disciples during His ministry. That is not a universal inability for all humanity. It's not a universal inability. Look at John 17:6 to 9. John chapter 17 verse 6 to 9.
Guest (Female): I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world. Thine they were, and thou gavest them me, and they have kept thy word. Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee. For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me, and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me. I pray for them. I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me, for they are thine.
Dr. Abel Damina: For them which thou hast given me, for they are... this is Jesus's high priestly prayer. Now look at verse 24 of John 17. John 17:24.
Guest (Female): Father, I will that they also whom thou hast given me be with me where I am, that they may behold my glory which thou hast given me, for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
Dr. Abel Damina: Verse 20 now. Verse 20 of John 17.
Guest (Female): Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word.
Dr. Abel Damina: So the prayer is not for a selected people. It's for all those who will hear the gospel. Is it getting clear? So there's no inclusion, no selection, no preclusion. The gospel to all who will believe. The gospel to all who will hear. The gospel to all who will accept. They will accept. Now that word "nobody comes except I draw him" is the Greek word helkyon, H-E-L-K-U-E-I-N. It means to woo. To draw means to woo. H-E-L-K-U-E-I-N. It means to woo, to convince, or to appeal to the heart, not to force. To appeal. See it in Song of Solomon 1:3 to 4. Song of Solomon chapter 1 verse 3 to 4.
Guest (Female): Because of the savor of thy good ointments, thy name is an ointment poured forth. Therefore do the virgins love thee. Draw me, we will run after thee. The king hath brought me into his chambers. We will be glad and rejoice in thee. We will remember thy love more than wine. The upright love thee.
Dr. Abel Damina: Go back to verse 3. Because of the savor... the preaching of the gospel is the spreading of savor. Making known the savor of His grace by us in every place. So because of the preaching, thy good... of thy good ointments, thy name is as ointment poured forth. So when we preach, we release the aroma. Okay? The aroma of the gospel. Therefore do the virgins love thee. Next verse. Draw me. How do you draw me? Ointment. [inhales deeply]. Then you start following. "Hmm, God this fragrance is sweet, I'm coming." He draws you, He woos you. He doesn't compel us, but He woos us.
How does He woo us? His goodness. The message, the gospel, His kindness. That's how He gets us. Look at another one, John 12:32. John chapter 12 verse 32.
Guest (Female): And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
Dr. Abel Damina: If I be lifted up. So how is He going to draw them? By His resurrection. Lift up means kill. When I am killed, I will draw men. So in my death will be a message that will free men from sin and draw men to the saving grace. Praise God. I say praise God. I say praise God. Go into all the world, preach the gospel to every creature. There's a mandate of God on your life and that mandate is to get more into the kingdom.
And every one of us here has the sentence of God in your tongue to preach this gospel like never before. And I declare over you, you will do it willingly. Turn to your neighbor, say "Hey neighbor, it's necessity to me to have people saved. I want to see men saved all over the world. I am totally sold out to the mandate of world evangelism, bringing men to the knowledge of the truth, declaring the truth of the gospel till all the nations of the earth are filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the water covers the sea."
Tell your neighbor "From this day, let it be clear to you that God forces nobody and God selects nobody. Your choice to accept the plan of God, the will of God, is what brings you into the purpose of God. There's no compulsion and in His mercy you are here and together we'll preach this gospel." Glory to God. Glory to God. And every nation, every city, every state where you came from, they are getting ready to receive a new man.

Every believer says a powerful amen.
Oh my goodness, the word of God is life. The Bible tells us the entrance of God's word giveth light and it giveth understanding to the simple. As you keep listening, the light of God's word rises out of the rightly divided word of truth, illuminates your mind, illuminates your heart, and brings you face to face with your realities in Christ Jesus. In Ephesians chapter 3 verse 3, Brother Paul, speaking about the mystery the Old Testament, he said, "Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ."
So there is a knowledge in the mystery of Christ. The word mystery is the word mysterion in the Greek. It means that which is concealed. And then he says how that by revelation... the word revelation is the word apokalypsis. It means that which is revealed. So the revelation of the scriptures unveils the mysteries. Revelation is the New Testament, mystery is the Old Testament. But it will take reading and learning to come to a place of full understanding, precise and accurate knowledge.
Brother Daniel will say, "I understood by books." So there's a place of books in equipping you soundly with the message of Christ. Brother Paul will write to Timothy, he says to Timothy, "Till I come, give attendance to reading." Jesus, speaking to those Jews, says "Ye do err because you know not the scriptures, nor the power of God." Often times Jesus would say to the Jews, "Have you not read?" which is the word anaginosko in the Greek. It means, "Are you reading and not paying attention?"
I want to quickly recommend for you a plethora of books I have written. They are written with an intent to bring you doctrinal clarity, answer your questions doctrinally, and bring you to a place of accurate understanding, a precise knowledge of Christ and you in Christ. I want you to order for those books today. The number and the list of books available will be read to you right now.
