Ken Boa Reflections Ministries

Dr. Ken Boa: Thank you for joining us. My name is Ken Boa and I'm the founder of Reflections Ministries, an organization that seeks to encourage and equip and empower people to become obedience-based disciples of Jesus Christ. We love to tell people about how to love well and to learn well and to live well.

I was raised in a very biblical background in New Jersey, but I found myself by the time I went to Case Institute of Technology to have put it all away. I didn't want to think about Jesus. And only after I graduated from Case did I have an encounter with Him. After going to the University of California in Berkeley, I found myself six months after my conversion to Jesus in the January of '68 at Dallas Theological Seminary. And from that time it has been a journey of intimacy and growth into a meaningful and beautiful worldview that has transformed my life, and I'm seeking to make that transformative by the grace of God in the lives of many.

We live in a unique time of challenges against the Christian worldview. A time of cultural alienation and isolation amplified by new technologies that have created people who have thousands of friends and no relationships. My desire with Reflections Ministries is to actually provide a bigger and more robust vision of what a good and fruitful and flourishing life looks like, how we can actually find vitality in our relationship with God and as a consequence our relationship with others. And it's all through the whole process that I like to call trusting the Father, abiding in the Son, and walking by the Spirit. It's a vision of a fruitful life, a life that will actually lead to a hope and a purpose and a future.

We have a number of free resources on our website, including the weekly study video and the daily growth email. We have the weekly blog and we have Reflections U, which is a new learning platform that's available for you as well. Because we're creating resources that will help you to love well, that you'll love the Lord your God and have a spiritual dimension in your life. To learn well, so you know how to answer some of the tough questions in our time and how to think clearly. And third for you to live well, so that you can have a practical understanding about how to live it out in very real ways of understanding your purpose in this world.

The greatest investment we can make is to shape lives for eternity, and I'm inviting you to partner with us. God's the one who is going to use us. We're stewards of His grace, but we are given the privilege of participation.
