Growing up, my family went out to eat often. And so when we first got married, we didn't have much money, so therefore I had to adjust to eating at home more often.

What do you look for in a church? "I got two kids, so somethin' to deal with youth." "A place where we can serve effectively, followed by more of a psychological/philosophical fit." "I'm a musician, so I would look for a church that has a really quality music program."

We asked this woman what it means to "fear God"… "I think it's a reverent fear like we have for our parents, that if we don't obey Him, He has the power and the authority to…put our souls in Hell. So I fear Hell. I fear His authority to put me there if I don't obey."

"Waking up late causes me stress." "Something that causes me stress is indecision." "Lots of times when my house is a total mess. I've got lots of things to do, thank yous to write, and I can't seem to find the time."

When I was young, Monday was my favorite day, because my dad's day off was on Monday. So he would let me go along with him and do all the errands, and my dad spent time with me.

What comes to my mind when you say isolation - when two people are married, but they don't talk, and they're just barely friends.  You go on a date, and you talk about the mortgage.

The temptation that the enemy throws in my way is just the thought of, "Hey, I've worked hard all day. I deserve some time to veg out and spend time alone and not engaging with my family."

I get tempted by…like…men, being a single woman. It's tempting to go about doing things your own way…You don't want this type of man…you've been there, done that, and you don't want to go back to those old ways.

When you lose credibility, it takes a long long time to regain the credibility that you've lost. Live a trustworthy life so that your mate does not have to question whether or not you're being honest with him or her.

We've got grandkids that are dating, and we know what they're facing. Their parents are trying to bring them up right, of course we see that they do, but then we know that they face a lot of problems we didn't face.

BL: There is wisdom in the words of this 83 year old man. Consider your wife, every move you make whatever decisions you make in every way. If more people would be based on that theory, it'd be a better world in which to live.
