Integrity Never Stands Alone
Integrity Never Stands Alone
John MacArthur: Mr. John MacArthur welcoming you to Portraits of Grace. Remember the story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, the ones who were bound and thrown into the fiery furnace. Well, King Nebuchadnezzar was livid with rage when he did that, but his rage quickly turned to astonishment when he saw four men walking around unharmed in the flames. Clearly something supernatural was going on. And who was the fourth person? Well, God sent an angelic messenger to comfort those young men and to explain that the fire wouldn't harm them. God turned their serious plight into their greatest triumph. If you're a Christian, God has promised never to leave you or forsake you either.
He'll be with you in every trial and every circumstance. So praise the Lord for the protection and encouragement he has given you in the past, his promise of similar blessings in the future, and for sustaining you in the fiery furnace in the present.
