Thinking Biblically
Thinking Biblically
John MacArthur: This is John MacArthur. Please join me for today's Portraits of Grace.
I'm sure you realize how much God cares about your behavior. But beyond that, He also cares about how you think. That's why Paul said, "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." In Philippians 4:8, he adds that you're to meditate on things that are true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and praiseworthy.
God wants sanctified thinking because the way you think influences the way you behave. So be diligent to saturate your mind with God's Word and allow its principles to govern your thought and your behavior. As the Psalmist put it, hide the Word in your heart so you won't sin against Him.
This is John MacArthur encouraging you to live as portraits of grace.
