No psychiatrist’s couch can set us free from the inner turmoil of sin. When we violate God’s commands, the only thing that can relieve the distress is the knowledge that we’ve been forgiven. Having sinned greatly, King David knew this very well. He wrote of his personal experience of forgiveness in Psalm 32, and today we will walk with him down the path toward renewed fellowship with God.

The First Songs Of Christmas
Request Yours
Many Christmas songs are nostalgic melodies that evoke memories of the season and warm our hearts. But the original Christmas songs of Elizabeth, Mary, Zechariah, the angels, and Simeon recapture the wonder of Jesus' birth. These songs recorded in Luke 1–2 unfold God’s redemptive plan and reveal the greatness and glory of our Savior. In this 31-day Advent devotional, Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth offers meditations on these songs. Your heart will be encouraged and warmed as you reflect on the joy Jesus brought to the world when He was born in Bethlehem.
