Back in Jesus' day, religious people left an injured man by the road, lest they be contaminated. Only a Good Samaritan tended the man's wounds...this despite the fact that Samaritans were despised as second-class citizens. Sadly, discrimination and racial hatred is still with us, even among the people of God. Today: a no-nonsense challenge from the book of Micah to point us away from injustice and oppression.
