The standard God sets for us to gain eternal life is very high—so high there’s no way we can ever reach it. That’s why He has given a gift to every child of God in which He imparts the very purity He demands. In this message we learn all about this marvelous gift.

Salvation includes much more than a ticket to heaven when we die. Christ has given believers many wonderful gifts that accompany our salvation. In this message we begin taking inventory of what each believer receives through the work of Jesus, starting with the gift of predestination.

Baptism and the Lord’s Supper are the two most meaningful observances in the life of the church. Christ commanded that we practice them as outward symbols of His inner working in our lives. In this message we examine the ordinances of the church.

Before people believe in Jesus, they have no choice: they will sin repeatedly. After conversion, they do have a choice, no longer obligated to commit the sins they committed before. Breaking free from old patterns involves a process called “reckoning oneself dead unto sin but alive unto God.” In this message we learn what this reckoning is all about.

Built into every one of us is a tendency to focus on self. We see life through the lens of, “how does this affect me?” After Cain killed Abel, he had no remorse. Rather, he bemoaned his fate of being made a restless wanderer. In this message we look at how self-focus is shared by us all, and why it’s only through the redemption Jesus provides that we can get our eyes off of ourselves.
