We try to protect ourselves from pain. But Jesus said, “Blessed are they that mourn.” How can this be? It may not seem “heavenly” to allow yourself to feel pain, weep and mourn, but having the compassion of Christ is part of knowing His blessings in our lives and seeing God’s perspective.
