God often shows up in our lives, in ways we might not expect, but at just the right time! Today on Light on the Hill we’ll see an example of that as the Lord reveals Himself suddenly, breaking up a party, all to convey an important message. We begin Daniel chapter three on today’s program. King Nebuchadnezzer is about to build a gold statue and command everyone to bow down to the image or die in a fiery furnace. It’s interesting to observe how he used music to move the people!

Today we open Daniel chapter two. If you’ll recall Nebuchadnezzar had a dream, which Daniel is now interpreting. We want to focus today on the fourth kingdom in this dream, described as iron mixed with clay. It has ten toes! Pastor James Kaddis believes this is speaking of a Revived Roman Empire that will assemble at the time of the end. They’ll hand the reigns over to the final antichrist! As you carefully examine current events, you can see all of this coming together in an amazing way!

Daniel is about to come along with the interpretation, and in so doing reveals a general timeline for all of history, near and far! Including a revived Roman empire that will consist of 10 nations!

When we’re hurt deeply by the words or actions of another, we have a choice to make. We can turn bitter and angry, and many do! Or we can be like Daniel, and stay focused on the Lord, refusing to compromise! Today on Light on the Hill, we spotlight Daniel chapter one, and verses 9-21. As a young man Daniel was stripped from his own home and family, but refused to be bitter about it. Pastor James Kaddis has noticed a few things in this response to adversity!
