Michelle Jackson is a PK, a pastor's kid. What were some of your recollections as being raised a pastor's kid? I speak to pastor's kids; some of them hated that and rebelled, and others embraced it. What was your experience?

Michelle Jackson: I think it was a mix of both for me. I remember being a young girl and hearing my father praying. Our bedroom, my sister and I, was above our parents' bedroom in our childhood home. So we would hear our father praying in the spirit on Saturday mornings.

Initially, my parents started a Bible study that became a local church in the town where I grew up. So he would pray, and that's really, I believe, where the passion for prayer came from in my own life.

Sid Roth: Now, I'm very intrigued because I knew your father personally and he was actually a pastor at a church I went to many years ago. Your father had an amazing prophetic gift. He had a word for America, I think in the early 2000s.

Michelle Jackson: Yes, he had a prophetic word about the crumbling shield of America. He was a watchman, and so he was warning America that if we continued on the path that we were on and embracing a lot of the leftist liberal ideologies that America was embracing at that time, the shield of favor that had been a protection and caused America to be a shining light in the United States would crumble. But if we would turn and repent and pray, the Lord would cause revival and a third great awakening to come to America.

Sid Roth: Do you believe we're close to the fulfillment of what your father saw?

Michelle Jackson: I do. A lot of the things that he was warning the church about, including the Defense of Marriage Act, our embracing the ideologies being taught in school, a lot of those things have taken place where we did not vote against them when we could have. Because of that, I believe that we're at the point that the cries of the church for intervention from God will bring and usher in that greater glory and third great awakening. I believe it's starting now.

Sid Roth: Michelle, hard to believe, but as a young girl, you were running from the call of God on your life.

Michelle Jackson: Yes, I saw my parents suffer a lot of things: spiritual warfare. I was afraid of rejection, of the demonic, and I did not know if I could give everything, even my life, for the gospel. So I was running, but I knew that if I had the conviction that my parents had, that I would have courage.

There was a pivotal conversation with my father in our garage because I rededicated my life to the Lord when I was about 29 and submitted myself to the call of God on my life when I was about 34. Right about the time of my ordination, I had this conversation with my father in the garage because he just couldn't understand why I was running. I told him that I needed that conviction because we had gone through so much as a family and he always stood firm. So I needed that conviction.

Sid Roth: When you really rededicated your life and decided to go into ministry, this is what I find fascinating: it unlocked giftings that God has put within you that I'm sure your dad knew about, and he was more frustrated than you. What kind of giftings started being evidenced in your life?

Michelle Jackson: When I rededicated my life to the Lord coming into my 30s, everything fell apart because I had tried to do everything in my own strength. So I had had a measure of success, but I really was not fulfilled.

As I began to yield myself to the Lord and really follow the scriptures and live that full-out 100% Christian life, what happened was healing began to happen for me and others when I would pray. I had authority over the demonic. I didn't know I had that. I could sing prophetic songs. I heard music that I'd never heard. All kinds of supernatural things began to happen that were a part of my DNA, but I never knew that part because I had never gotten into that deeper place, that deeper walk with the Lord.

Sid Roth: You had authority over the demonic in the invisible world. Do you remember the first time you realized that?

Michelle Jackson: I do, in dealing with nightmares. You know, it's one of those things that every believer has that authority. It's only when we understand who we are in Christ that we begin to walk in that authority. That doesn't come from attending church. It comes from getting in the word and understanding who we are in Christ. That was the missing key for me. I did not know who I was in the Lord.

Sid Roth: There was a time during the shutdown that you and your dad were ministering together. May 3, 2020, a prophecy. Tell me about that.

Michelle Jackson: During the shutdown, we had to get creative because Maryland closed all the churches. The bottom line is that we would come in and do a live church service and people would stream in and they'd put things in the comments and we'd try to interact with them or we'd prophesy. After the service, we'd hear from people what happened.

On this particular day, my father called me on the platform and he had been preaching about Acts 16. He turns to me and says, "You have a word." I didn't know that I had a word, but I said, "Okay, Holy Spirit. If I have this word, help me in this moment."

I began to release the word that there was someone online who was from a Haitian background and that in their bloodline, there had been a dedication to voodoo, but that the Lord was severing that dedication in order to release freedom into their family and into their life.

Sid Roth: When you spoke that word, I'm just curious how gifts operate. Did you hear the word when you spoke it? Did you know it before you spoke it? Did you see it? How did God work with you?

Michelle Jackson: Typically, at that point in my prophetic journey, I would pray in the spirit, I would pray in my heavenly language, and the word would bubble up in my spirit. As I began to speak the part that I heard and felt, then it would begin to expand. So I didn't know all that I was going to say until I moved in faith and began to declare the first part that God gave me, which was Haiti.

I'm like, okay, Haiti. Now I'm out on a limb. I'm out on the limb on faith. The Lord completed the rest of the word. I gave that part and then my dad followed up and said that there was someone online that was dealing with baldness or alopecia and that God was healing them.

Well, there was a lady online named Fabiola and she had been in our church for a while, an elementary school principal. She had both of those. She was from a Haitian background, originally from Queens, New York, and she was balding and she didn't understand what was happening.

Sid Roth: Those are pretty tough words to find someone like that. That was not a coincidence. Go ahead.

Michelle Jackson: No, it was very interesting because we finished the service, we prayed, and then we would have a break where we would get some food and then we would record our Bible study for during the week. I checked my cell phone and Fabiola texted me that she received that word from the Lord.

She had recently found out that her father had been dedicated to voodoo in Haiti and all of the men on her father's side had been. At that time, he was on life support in the early days of COVID-19 in New York City and he was also dealing with kidney failure. He was in a coma and on a ventilator at that time.

She received that prayer. She believed that word was for her, that God was setting her free and that her hair would grow back. What we didn't expect was that the next day her father would wake up. He actually woke up out of a coma being on a ventilator the next day.

I know what effect it had on her. What effect did it have on you? I was totally blown away and shocked because we always say and we believe there's no distance in prayer. If you've ever been in church, we say that. But what I began to understand was that the word of God, the prophetic word, goes through and it shatters the enemy. The word of the Lord shattered the enemy.

We just were excited, but we didn't know that he would have a 100% turnaround and recovery. He walked out totally fine. His kidneys were totally fine. He didn't even need physical therapy or a cane when he was released from the hospital.

Sid Roth: Michelle is a dreamer. She sees things in dreams, but you had a very unusual dream in the year 2020. I'd like to hear it.

Michelle Jackson: When my father passed away in 2020 and I took the head of the church, I began leading the church. But it was difficult because in the shutdown, my sister, my only sibling, and I were living in two different states. So I went from being surrounded by family to living by myself primarily.

I stayed at a friend's home right when my father passed because I didn't really want to be by myself. So on this particular night, I fell asleep on their couch and I had this dream. In the dream, I walked out of my office into a hallway that led to our chapel where we used to have services in our building. In the dream, I began to walk across the chapel, but it was different because there were no chairs in it. It was completely empty.

As I walked across the chapel, this figure came towards me, so bright and luminescent, and hands me a sword. The sword was so heavy as I gripped it with my right hand, I couldn't handle it. So my body had to adjust to the weight of the sword. But as I got the sword in my hand and could handle the weight of it, the giver of the sword said to me, "You've got this."

Then as I began to walk towards the exit doors, it was just filled with light. I could feel the light, I could sense the light, and as I walked out of the doors, I woke up sitting up. It was so real, like a Hollywood movie. I love the movies, go to the movies. So it felt so real.

But the name that was on my lips as I woke up out of the dream was Athaliah. So having dreams, you realize, okay, either God's speaking or the enemy's speaking or it might be pizza, right? But I knew because it was a biblical figure to get my Bible and to begin studying about Athaliah to find out what the Lord wanted to say to me about Athaliah.

As I began to pray into what I read in the scriptures, I realized that the Lord was raising me but also other women to be a Jehosheba. Jehosheba was the wife of the priest Jehoiada who protected Joash as a child because Athaliah wanted to kill every heir of Judah and to reign on the throne. She's the only queen in the Bible of Judah, but she usurped and she used murder to kill the rightful male heirs so that she could have the throne.

Jehoiada and Jehosheba stewarded Joash's life so that eventually he could take his rightful place and live out his destiny. So what I began to understand was that there was a new breed of Kingdom woman that was being raised up. Joash's name means fire of God. To steward the fire of God on the next generation and that we would be those that would create a platform that the next generation could stand on.

Us breaking through and really understanding our responsibility to the next generation is critical in this hour because Gen Z and Gen Alpha and Gen Beta, they'll carry the glory that the world has never seen. Right now we can see that the forces of darkness really want to snuff the life out of the next generation. We can all see that.

Sid Roth: And so you and your prayer people are interceding that that next generation survive because that next generation is going to take the gospel to the four corners of the earth. I'm really in awe over the miracles that are happening in your church. Tell us about the meeting in 2022.

Michelle Jackson: From that dream, what really happened was that I just began to experience the supernatural in a whole new dimension. In 2022, I was preaching in our second service and I felt the glory of the Lord surround me and I started hearing music. It was like a full symphony and voices singing.

I asked my congregation during that moment when I was preaching, "Do y'all hear this?" because it was so beautiful. It was so marvelous and you just sense the presence of God so strong. From that moment on, people would come to the second service. There were people that had back issues or knee issues and during the worship time, they would come to us and tell us that they were healed.

Nobody laid hands on them, nobody prayed for them, but just being in this atmosphere they were healed. There was a woman who had a growth on her neck and it totally dissolved in the worship. That summer, we saw lupus healed. We saw people who had diagnosis of cancer, the cancer disappear. It wasn't the ministry of laying on of hands, meaning someone came to you, laid hands on you, prayed for you. It was the atmosphere of the glory and the presence of God that came in and it just grew stronger and stronger. As we pressed in for more of God, we realized we have to have capacity to carry the presence and the glory of God.

Sid Roth: You pray a lot, and you at times get into something called travail. What is travail?

Michelle Jackson: Travail is when the Holy Spirit comes upon us to birth things in the spirit in prayer. It's agonizing, it may be groaning. In the Great Awakening, there were intercessors like Daniel Nash and Abel Clary that travailed for souls. What we find is that God begins to release anointing but also destiny and His purposes when we're willing to go into that place of travailing prayer.

Sid Roth: It's almost like a woman in childbirth.

Michelle Jackson: Correct, like Hannah. As we moved into that place of travailing prayer earlier in 2022, the Lord began to release unusual anointing for business and evangelism and creativity in our congregation. We had people who wrote music and songs that they just never had written anything in a long time or had never written anything at all. People launched businesses from an idea that they got in prayer. All kinds of things that were unusual, but it was the wisdom of God being poured out for us to receive.

Sid Roth: Now, during Passover and Pentecost, your church had almost an invitation from God to get into the secret place and some amazing things happened. The releasing of the new mantle, and you yourself received a healing. What was it?

Michelle Jackson: In 2022, as we stepped into this new glory realm in our church, I had 13 food allergies and uncontrolled blood sugar just manifest. I'd always been healthy, I'd never had any issues, never took medication, and it brought a lot of torment into my life because I travel quite a bit and move around.

Now I had to be worried about what was in the food and what was I eating. While I had prayed for other people to be healed, I'd never had a physical issue of my own. So what I realized through the help of friends was that I was battling fear.

At the beginning of this year, the Lord came and prophetically invited us to say, "Hey, I want to come and visit your church and if you'll be willing to give me the next seven weeks, I will come at Pentecost." That was in February. We were willing to put everything on hold.

So I went before my leadership and I said, "Hey, the Lord has said that He wants to come visit us with a great outpouring of His spirit, and so we need to cancel everything and make room for Him to come." So we started gathering for prayer overnight and the Lord led us to repent, He led us to recognize things around us: our own sin. His mercy was being poured out upon us for the sake of the generations that are coming and what He wants to do in our region. We just wept in the presence of the Lord and allowed Him to lead us into what turned into 25 weeks of prayer.

Sid Roth: Pray for healing right now.

Michelle Jackson: Father, we thank you for the gift that you have given us through salvation. Lord, we know that when we have you, we have everything and access to healing. So right now, Lord, we release the anointing. We release the healing balm of Gilead over every body, physical body, who is under the sound of this broadcast.

We thank you, Lord, that organs are responding to the sound of the voice of the Lord. Lord, I thank you for lungs being restored now in Jesus' name. I thank you that cardiac arrhythmia is being healed by your glory and by your touch. Lord, I thank you that arthritic pain is being resolved by the power of the Lord.

I thank you that hips and knees are being restored right now in Jesus' name. Lord, we just thank you that you're bringing even nerve pain—I see chronic nerve pain being totally wiped away by the power and the presence of Jesus. God, we thank you that it is your heart to see your children healed and restored. We speak full restoration and recovery over the people of God in Jesus' name. Amen.
