Sid Roth: My guests, Gaius and Emanuela Forlu were raised in God's Word. Face fear, face worry head-on. Gaius, tell us a bit about your background. Where were you born?

Guest (Male): Well, I was born in, uh, West Africa, Cameroon, and I grew in a born-again believing home. And, um, it's interesting because my mom said when I was born and they had to take me from the hospital, they went straight into the church to dedicate me to the Lord. And, uh, at the age of eight, I gave my life to Jesus Christ. You know, being in a home where there is that love for Christ doesn't guarantee you making it to heaven. There's got to be a time where you've got to say, "Accept Jesus into your heart." And I did that at the age of eight. And then at the age of 12, I began to see the Lord doing awesome things in my life. And my brother, he can testify.

Guest (Male): And, uh, we go for practice, worship practice, and out of a sudden, when I walk around people, they began to fall under the power of God. And I was like, "What? What is going on here?"

Sid Roth: You're just a kid.

Guest (Male): I'm just a kid. And, uh, my dad woke up one day and said at that age and said, "Gaius, you are preaching tonight." I said, "Wow! I don't even know, I was, I was confused." I went through the scriptures looking at what I was going to say. And, uh, that night, the Lord gave me a word on Genesis 12, the call of Abraham. And we ministered that night and the Lord did awesome things. And now, know that between eight and 12, we would go out with my brother and other kids. You know, we go and pray in a prayer room. We walk for 30 minutes with other children, pray in a prayer room all day. Preach in bars licensed outside. And people were giving their lives to the Lord.

Sid Roth: You were going into bars at age 12?

Guest (Male): Yeah. They were actually outside. You know, back back in Africa, you have them all outside and we would go in and we're going to, and we ministered to them. And, uh, a time came when I had this awesome encounter with the Lord. And, uh, three-day fast, on the third day, I was tired and I laid down on on my dad's bed. And I saw the Lord. I couldn't see His face clearly, but the glory that He came with. White, nice, beautiful gold, dark, curly hair. And he was dancing the Jewish way.

Guest (Male): And I saw he was dancing and coming close. And out of a sudden, I find myself dancing with Him. And we were dancing and dancing. And He said something very interesting. He said, "Whenever you're going through any situation in your life, and also as a lifestyle, just dance."

Sid Roth: Do you believe that's true for everyone?

Guest (Male): Oh, yes. Yes, I believe that for everyone. For everyone. He said, "Just dance."

Sid Roth: What if you're like me, you don't know how to dance? What what what what can I do?

Guest (Male): Well, you can at least shake your hands. You know, you can shake your head, you can you can do something.

Sid Roth: Okay.

Guest (Male): You know. Because I tend I tend to learn that when you pray, you attract the angels of God upon your life. When you praise and worship the King of kings, He Himself comes down. And, um, one of the things that happened was we had no food, no money in the account. Big zero. And my wife and I decided to go to the store. We went to the store, we filled the cart with food, went to the cashier, swiped the card, it went through. And we began to dance in the midst of everybody. And we were going to the car and we were praising the Lord. We ate the food, papa, it got finished. We came back again.

Guest (Male): We looked at the account, still zero, not even on negative. When we got back to the store this time, we got two carts. And we

Sid Roth: If you're going to mess up, you mess up big.

Guest (Male): Oh, yeah. So we filled it up and we got to the cashier again and it went through. And we began to dance.

Sid Roth: I bet you did.

Guest (Male): Yes. So I learned that we don't depend on the earthly economy, we depend on the heavenly economy.

Sid Roth: And and and two quick things. You were filled with the Holy Spirit. Briefly tell me about that.

Guest (Male): Oh, at that age of eight, I was in church. My dad was ministering. It was on a Tuesday Bible studies. And you know, those benches, you know, people sit at the top and others sit at the at the bottom. So I sat at the top at the back. And as he was ministering, and he quoted a scripture and as I opened the Bible to read, I began speaking in tongues. Two words. And that was it was just bubbling in my spirit. I was just there speaking. It was so awesome being filled with the Holy Ghost, speaking in tongues.

Sid Roth: Okay. Now, at nine years old, Emanuela, you saw Jesus?

Guest (Female): Yes, sir.

Sid Roth: Tell me about that.

Guest (Female): Well, I grew up in a home, a Presbyterian home. Uh, my parents would take us to church. And at that time, I grew in love with the stories about Jesus. Um, I didn't really understand salvation that much, but I knew about this man named Jesus and how he would be he could be a friend to little children.

Sid Roth: You were born in Cameroon also.

Guest (Female): I was also born in Cameroon. Yes. Uh, so my grandmother had this picture in her home of Jesus. I don't know if you remember those pictures with the red heart at the center.

Sid Roth: George, I don't remember pictures of Jesus as a kid.

Guest (Female): It's an old picture, you know, of Jesus, you know. And so every time we would go for vacation, uh, there was a chair that was uh, next to that picture. And I would I remember I would go and I would climb up to that chair. And I would begin to speak to Jesus because I really felt that was the Jesus that uh, my Sunday school teacher told me about. And so this night when I'm nine years old, I have this dream, um, and in this dream, I see the clouds coming closer to me. And the cloud got closer and closer and closer. And there was this light, a bright light. Um, and out of this light, stepped out someone and walked towards me and sat down with me.

Guest (Female): And this person spoke with me. We spoke all night. And, um, but it was just the happiest moment I remember having in that dream. And when he woke up to leave, at this point, I knew it was Jesus. And when I saw him, I said, "You don't look anything like that picture in my grandmother's house, you know." Uh, but he turned to me and he said, "Don't worry, I will always be with you and you will be with me." And when I woke up from that dream, I woke up with a song singing about my salvation and how God came to save me.

Sid Roth: Wow. Do you know that song today?

Guest (Female): I do know that song.

Sid Roth: Could you just for a few seconds sing that? Look in the camera and sing it.

Guest (Female): Yes, I was singing, "Let us praise God together. Let us praise God together. Let us praise God together, oh my soul. I was dreaming the night a sweet dream that God came to save me."

Sid Roth: Wow. How would you like a supernatural hug? I I mean, I'm serious. At 18?

Guest (Female): Yes.

Sid Roth: Tell me about your supernatural hug.

Guest (Female): Yes, Sid. Um, so from that time when I had this dream with Jesus, um, you know, life took a toll. Uh, I became a teenager and a lot of things were happening, uh, both at home and both in my surrounding. And I just kind of sunk into this place of, um, this emotional, uh, despaired place, just searching that there had to be more. I did not understand salvation. This friend came in with a guitar. And, um, he was playing and he was so joyful. And this joy was so contagious because I was in this place of despair. I was even suicidal at times. And so this joy was just so contagious. And before he left, I said, "I want to know why you are so happy."

Guest (Female): "Because I want some of that joy too." And so he told me about Jesus and why he was happy. Well, fast forward after he left, I met a group of friends which I believe that God ordained that, and they invited me, uh, to a church where it was at that church where I walked in and the uh, man of God who was preaching was preaching a message on salvation. And I made the decision that day, uh, to give my life to Jesus, to surrender my life to Jesus. Well, when I left from there, you know, it was the most exciting thing that happened to me. I found that peace. I no longer felt that void. And I just felt, you know, to share with my family what had happened to me.

Guest (Female): Uh, but to my surprise, my family was not so understanding of what had happened to me. And so I told my family, I said, "You know, I have a feeling and a push to, uh, go back to, you know, the atmosphere where I received salvation that God has something there for me." Well, my family didn't take this the, you know, the right way because to them we'd always grown up grown up in this Presbyterian church setting. And so I went at lock heads with my family, uh, trying to help them to understand. And it was just an emotional place for me because all I wanted to do was to follow the path that God was calling me where I felt he was calling me. But at the same time, I didn't want to hurt my family.

Guest (Female): So I just remember going into this room and I just cried out to the Lord and I said, "Lord, all I want to do is serve you and follow you. I just don't know why my family is not understanding me." And I wept and wept and wept. And, uh, what I remember is as I was weeping to him, a light came through the window. Uh, it was like the sun just, you know, came out and it was just shining through the window. And this light just hit me right here on my chest. And when it hit me on my chest, it was like I received the biggest warmest hug from the Lord. I just felt like someone was just holding me. And that sweetness came over me and I just calmed down and I went to sleep.

Guest (Female): I had the best sleep I can remember to this day. And when I woke up from that, the Lord just spoke to me. I heard His voice. He said, "Remember that dream that I visited you when I was nine." And I was like, "Yes." And He said, "I'm fulfilling my promise to you today."

Tell me about that.

Guest (Male): Oh yeah. You know, at one point, uh, the spirit of worry really got into my life. And, uh, I was I was married at that time with with my wife, and, uh, we had our little baby. I was a student, and things were so difficult. Things were so tough in our home. And I was so much concerned, so much worry. I was scared even of the future. And in that state, I would drop off my wife at at work, and I got back home 5:00 AM in the morning. And as I sat on the bed to pray, and I started praying, out of a sudden, this Jesus walked through the door of the room. I could see the scars in His hands, His feet.

Guest (Male): And this time, I could at least see His eyes and His face, still the same gold, nice curly hair, the the glory that He came with. And I was down. I don't even know how I went down. But I got a revelation there that whatever encounters the glory of God must bow.

Sid Roth: You were bowing.

Guest (Male): Yes, I was down. But at the same time, I could see what was happening. Because He pointed His hands towards me, and with a smile, He said, "Son." I love that when He said, "Son." "Son, have I not told you in My Word that if I could take care of the birds that fly in the sky, if I could clothe the grass in the field, what more of you? You are more valuable in My eyes." And He said, "Let me show you something." He said, "Look up." And I looked up. And He said, "When we pray, He answers our prayers, but the enemy sees the glimpse of that breakthrough coming. And he comes to put us in a state of worry, fear, discouragement."

Guest (Male): And he said, "The enemy knows that we cannot receive that breakthrough because we are not in the right state, the right state of mind, character, attitude, behavior." And he began to teach me the five effects of worry. And he said something very powerful. He said, "Son, each time you worry," and I want you to let everybody know wherever you go and minister, that each time you worry, you move one step backward from your breakthrough.

Sid Roth: Emanuel, you saw the Lion of Judah face to face. Tell me about that encounter.

Guest (Female): Yes. Um, so as I got married, as we got married, um, and this is in my as a married woman, this is funny. I had a spirit of fear. Uh, what the Lord revealed to me after my salvation, uh, was altars from my bloodline, unaware to me, unaware to my parents. Uh, and so when I gave my life to the Lord, I entered into a battle with the enemy. Um, and so I went into a time of praying and fasting and just seeking the Lord for deliverance on that. Well, what would happen is that there was this spirit of fear that I had never felt before, that strongly to uh, that moment.

Guest (Female): And so every time when I would go to bed, there would be this demonic, um, uh, demonic shadow that would come into the bedroom and that would torment me. Especially when my husband would travel for for mission strip. Every time he traveled, I was just like, this fear would grip my heart because I was like, "This night is just going to be a horrible night." Um, I would literally feel and this is not only when I'm sleeping. Uh, even when I'm awake, I would feel this demonic presence would come trying to choke me. And I would hear a whisper that would say, "We are going to kill you." Um, what the Lord revealed to me is that, um, the enemy was not happy with my salvation.

Guest (Female): Um, for some reason, for, uh, things that had been done, uh, without my knowledge in my past that God had delivered me from, the enemy was not happy with. And so one night as when he traveled out of, uh, country, I'm laying there and I could hear this demonic, uh, feet walking towards me as it usually would and coming with this presence. And as I sat there in the bed, laying down on the on laying down on the bed actually, as it came closer to me, all of a sudden, um, a lion, a fiery lion, came from the side and approached me, as the the lion approached me, a fiery lion, this demonic, uh, uh, spirit flee, it fled the room and left the room.

Guest (Female): And immediately, uh, that fear, that spirit of fear and darkness and death was gone. And that lion just came close to me and it stared at me, we shared a glance. And from that day, that fear left me and I never had that experience again with that demonic, um, presence.

I come against it in the name of Jesus Christ. Pack and leave and never return back in the name of Jesus. Let the warrior angels of heaven be released over that home, be released over that business, be released in that car, wherever you are. And be set free right now in Jesus' mighty name.
