Sid Roth: Welcome, Holy Spirit. Go and flow. Since his first near-death encounter, Rabbi Felix Halpern has been experiencing visions and unfolding supernatural revelation. But before we discuss that, I want to talk about his extraordinary family. Some of Felix’s family actually rescued Jews during the Holocaust.

Felix Halpern: My maternal grandparents, I’m one generation removed, were underground resistance fighters in Holland, which is where I was born in the Netherlands. There were raids, actually. It’s documented in Yad Vashem where they dressed up as Nazis. My uncle dressed up as a Nazi with others and raided Nazi headquarters in that particular area to rescue 12 to 15 Jewish people that were being slated for the concentration camp.

It’s a history for myself, a history of Nazi resistance from my maternal side. My father was an Orthodox, raised Orthodox, and named after my paternal grandfather, Rabbi Felix Halpern, who was an Orthodox rabbi in Germany. That entire paternal line was wiped out by the Nazis.

Sid Roth: Well, for years the subject of Holocaust and anti-Semitism was kept hush-hush in your family. Correct? Why?

Felix Halpern: When my father came to faith in the Dutch underground, on that step of faith was the sacrifices of the Dutch Christians and what they were sacrificing for the sake of the Jewish people. He was told that he is no longer Jewish. He was indoctrinated into replacement theology, Calvinism.

Sid Roth: That’s where the church replaces Israel.

Felix Halpern: Correct. And the Christian is now the new Jew, and the church is the spiritual Israel. He was indoctrinated into that early on, right in the beginning.

Sid Roth: That’s like telling a female you’re no longer female, to tell a Jew you’re no longer Jewish just because you believe in the Jewish Messiah that comes from the Jewish prophecies and the Jewish scriptures. The whole deal is Jewish.

Felix Halpern: Right. And a combination of another factor was he wanted nothing to do with his Judaism. The pain of what he went through, and it was horrific as a young boy in his journey from Germany right after Kristallnacht, which was the defining moment for him. Immediately after that Kristallnacht, the Night of Broken Glass, all the glass in all Dutch storekeepers, all the glass was broken.

Sid Roth: As a sign against Jews.

Felix Halpern: Right. And that was the official launch of the Holocaust. Shortly after that, he was taken by a train, a secret train across several countries in Europe in an effort to rescue some of the children, children of the Holocaust. So he lived with that and he wanted nothing to do with his Judaism. He didn’t want anybody to know he was Jewish. Yet, I had a Jewish name. He kept his Jewish name, but he raised us in the beginning in the Christian Reformed Church.

This is the miracle where I am today. I went away to a Christian Reformed college and I was indoctrinated into replacement theology, Calvinism, dispensationalism, allegorical interpretation. Literally, that shoots holes in the Bible. The Bible is shredded. You’ll never complete the prophetic picture of Israel and the church.

Sid Roth: So you had a major education to believe that you were no longer Jewish.

Felix Halpern: Messianic Jews would say, "Don’t you know you’re Jewish? And it’s to the Jew first?" I’d tell them my history and say, "Not really. I love all people." They would say, "You need to come back to your Judaism." That was in the early part of my life before I met my wife, Bonnie, who was raised in a conservative Jewish home with a strong Jewish identity.

Then I found my way into a very Jewish industry, the golden diamond business on 47th Street. The Lord said, it happened at 3:00 AM in the morning, sleeping at 3:00 AM in my left ear, "I’m bringing you back to your people." When I got up that morning thinking about what God said, I said, "Lord, you have to be kidding." I said, "How can I go back to my people? How can I return? I’m raised in replacement theology."

I began to pray to the Lord for my grandfather’s eyes to come back to me. I said, "Father, I need my grandfather’s eyes that were taken from me," because my Jewish eyes were taken from me. I prayed that prayer for three and a half months. One morning I went down to the kitchen, I opened up the Bible, and boom, the scriptures were illuminated. Supernaturally, the Lord wiped away replacement theology, dispensationalism, allegorical interpretation, and the Bible came together like a completed puzzle.

Sid Roth: What is the Moses generation?

Felix Halpern: At that particular time, I felt I was too Gentile to be Jewish and too Jewish to be Gentile. I wrote an article at that time on the Moses Jew because that’s what I considered myself, the Moses generation. In Acts 7, I believe it talks about Moses in his 40s, his early 40s. He has an epiphany. He decides to go see his people. Now he knew about these people. He knew about the slaves. He lived with slavery. He was second in command to Egypt itself. So this was no new revelation to him, but something changed in him.

God began to give him new eyes to see his people and begin to understand. That happened to me in my mid-40s on 47th Street by my office where I spent 25 years. I began to weep because I’m saying Moses went to Pharaoh seven times and said, "Let my people go physically, let them go." And I knew that I was called to let my people go spiritually.

From that point on, I knew that the Lord was calling me. At that point, I was vice president of a company, making a lot of money at that time in the early 80s. We had just built a large house, had a large mortgage, and the Lord says, "I want you to resign your position. I want you to liquidate your savings. I want you to liquidate your retirement. I want to bring you down like Moshe and I want to teach you a new level of faith."

Sid Roth: So what did you say?

Felix Halpern: So this is the word I’m bringing home to my Jewish wife from Brooklyn, who never knew what a car payment was, never knew what an insurance payment was. I had expense accounts for anything I needed. There was never a financial problem. And I’m telling her I’m coming home to deliver this news from God.

Sid Roth: What did she say?

Felix Halpern: She said, "Before you tell me, I want to tell you what God told me today." That was my wife’s introduction. Bonnie had this beautiful dining room set. It’s what she wanted. She loved this dining room set. It was just something she cherished and she polished it and she dusted it. She was dusting the table, the set, and the Lord said to her, "What are you doing? Why are you doing that? I have called you to polish the shields of the saints, not furniture." And she knew she had to sell it because we were on our way.

Sid Roth: Faith, I like to say that I don’t know how to be candid with you, Felix. I don’t know how you and your Jewish wife did that. You just suddenly gave up everything. That’s what Abraham did.

Felix Halpern: It took six months. Every spiritual leader said it wasn’t God. One spiritual leader said, "You’re supposed to stay in the church, be a member, and keep giving." Another person said it’s not for you. One person said, a pastor said, "You’re not called to ministry because you can’t juggle." I said, "What do you mean I can’t juggle?" "Well, you can’t play guitar, you can’t sing, you’ll never keep their interest."

Okay. So it doesn’t matter what they said. Six months later, I quit my job. She sold the dining room set, and we were off living by faith, liquidated everything. And that’s why I say faith is one moment you’re captain of the Starship Enterprise going where no man has gone before, and the next moment you feel like you’re captain of the Titanic where everything is going down.

Sid Roth: Rabbi Felix, when you were talking about this Moses generation, you believe that something has started with young Jewish people. What do you see?

Felix Halpern: First, we readily talk about the six million Jewish people that were killed by the Nazis, by the Holocaust, six million. But we never talk about the millions of lineages that were broken as a result of the Holocaust. Jewish people that intermarried, Jewish people that changed their name, Jewish people that began to have children apart from Judaism. That is also the result and the effect of the Holocaust.

Six million Jews lost their lives, and millions of millions of lineages have also been moved away from understanding. I believe that we are in a time of reclamation, a time of people coming back to understand what was lost. I believe we’re in a time of revival of what I’ll call them, the Moses generation, coming back to their heritage, a reclamation going on, and with the young people as well. Because as the children of the Shoah, of the Holocaust, were documented, there are children of these broken lineages that are discovering what happened and they’re coming back to their Judaism. So it’s a tremendous revival of that around the world that’s taking place.

Sid Roth: I believe it’s happening right now. You know why I believe it’s happening? I believe the Messiah is coming sooner than anyone thinks. I believe that if you don’t have your own experiential knowledge with God, you’ve got nothing. And if you have your own experiential knowledge with God, you’ve got everything. I want you to say this prayer out loud with me and mean it to the best of your ability. Repeat this out loud.

Sid Roth: Dear God, I’ve made many mistakes, for which I’m so sorry. I believe the blood of Jesus washes me clean. And now that I’m clean, Jesus, come and live inside of me. Thank you for saving me from all of my sins. I now make you my Lord. Amen.

Now we’ve done a TV show on my guest’s death and visitation to heaven, but Rabbi Felix recently had another near-death experience in which the heavens opened and there was the unfolding of scrolls. Scrolls?

Felix Halpern: The devil came after me again after the 2019 death, after all that experience. Six years had passed in mid-2019. We had just come back from leading a trip to Israel. I had an encounter with the Lord, a visitation from Yeshua at the Wailing Wall. Yeshua said, "I’m coming back for my people." I was undone. It was just an incredible moment and season.

I came back in January, went for a physical. I was healthy. By the way, I’ve said before, in 2019 when I came back from heaven, the Lord touched my heart. I mean, it’s not that I had heart problems, but I have a heart of a young person. The doctor said, "Your arteries are pristine." I went in for a routine colonoscopy. I was running three to five miles a day. I was getting ready for my first spring 5k run. I come out of the procedure and I’m rushed to the hospital. My heart is at 250, 260 beats per minute, dropping down to 40 beats per minute.

I was in extreme ventricular tachycardia and they took me to the hospital. They couldn’t figure it out. There was no electrophysiology, there was nothing because every test was negative. Everything they did, there were no risk factors. They said, "It doesn’t make sense." So they sent me home. That night I had to go back because I had another episode of it. The strange thing at 260 beats per minute, I’m sitting in the hospital and they’re telling me and I’m not feeling anything. They said, "Don’t you feel anything?" No, I’m really not, which is pretty dangerous. But I wasn’t symptomatic at that point.

It was getting worse. I was in and out of the hospital for four and a half months, had a heart procedure to repair the damage to the nerve on the heart which was causing the problem. But in that I almost died because of the extreme heart rates that I had to be so careful because if I didn’t have good arteries, I’d be dead. I’d be gone because of the blood clots to the brain and so forth.

I come out of that and due to the shock to the body, I developed a fourth nerve palsy. I already started writing this book, the last writing of my whole journey called "The Unfolding of the Scrolls: The Final Chapter." I’m writing on, I never shared that I visited hell. I was never able to. I say that’s the last time I say the word because usually I have to spell it.

The moment I began to write that book in November, all literally H-E-L-L broke loose because it is an exposé on the truth about the dark realm, what people are like down there, how they suffer, what the environment is like in the spiritual realm. It deals with 15 to 20 characteristics of that place that we never hear of, and it is an exposure of ha-Satan, of what he has done.

Two weeks ago, I couldn’t see because I had no peripheral vision. So I’m saying to the Lord, "Listen, I’ve had to cancel ministries services from January and two conferences. Everything came to a dead stop." I said, "I’m not going to cancel this." I said, "Lord, you either have to heal me now, heal me on the plane, or heal me at the show because I know the setup." I said, "Lord, it’s going to be very awkward for me. How do I even look to the crowd and I see triple the group of people that are there?" Which would be so disorienting. I said, "I can’t do that, but I was willing to." When I made that decision, the nerves started to come back. And so I can see all the beautiful people.

Sid Roth: Very quickly, what did God show you in these scrolls?

Felix Halpern: When I was in heaven, knowledge was rolling like a scroll because in heaven learning is pure absorption. It’s not like we read, we learn, we take notes. It’s absorption. Knowledge is absorption because heaven is filled with the fullness of revealed mystery. When I saw the angel holding the scroll, I said, "Lord, this book has to be different because it has to feel like a scroll." Because basically, I journaled for six and a half years.

A lot of the writings in this book come out of that journal, what I saw in hell, my interaction with demons, my interaction with principalities, what power they have.

Sid Roth: You saw Jesus. Give me that description.

Felix Halpern: I saw Jesus when I was standing by hell. The Lord sent me to hell. I don’t know why. I was with an angel. I asked the angel, "Why am I here? I’ve lived my whole life for you, I’ve served the Lord, I’ve raised my kids for the Lord. When I died, I went as a believer to glory. Why am I here?" "Because you are to tell others what it’s really like. You are my codebreaker. We break the Hebraic codes of what hell is." Jesus, Yeshua, was standing off to the side, beautiful glory, piercing eyes, watching as I was learning. We don’t have time to explain more about when the angel said, "Now look into the abyss and I will show you something." So the visitation from Yeshua and the scroll with the angel is another thing that completely changed my life that I will never, ever be the same.

And truthfully, when you die and go to heaven, this place is no longer my home.
