Following God's commandments will lead you along the beautiful path of wisdom, assuring you with His peace, protection, and provision. Pursuing a worldly path leads to pain and disappointment; while making wise decisions, on the other hand, will reveal God's best as He works everything together for your good.

God issues three calls to every single person. First of all is the call to salvation. The second is the call to sanctification—to bring our conversation, our conduct, and our character under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. The third call is the call to give ourselves in service to God by serving other people.

The profound principles in the Bible are sometimes very difficult to understand-and that is most certainly true of the doctrine of the Trinity. Although the Trinity is a mystery to us in many ways, God wants to teach us about Himself-about His nature and how the Godhead interrelates-so that we can know Him better and love Him more. In The Truth About the Trinity, Dr. Stanley explains this difficult doctrine in a way that's easy to understand so that you can continue growing in your love and knowledge of God.

Whenever we purchase an item that has some assembly or programming required, it comes with an instruction manual that outlines the procedure we must follow to set it up. Unfortunately, because of our human nature, we often attempt to get the item to work without ever reading the manual. The result is never very good, and can be downright destructive. The same is true when we try to live our lives apart from God's Word. In Wandering from the Word, Dr. Stanley explains how devastating it can be when you neglect to make biblical principles the foundation of your life, and how absolutely imperative it is to let God guide you through Scripture.
