All of us fall into one of two categories: those who have been captured by the philosophy of the world or those who have been made complete in Christ. In this message, Dr. Stanley describes these two types of people and the vastly different consequences of each worldview. We encounter worldly perspectives every day that tell us we must live in a certain neighborhood or do this or that to find fulfillment. But these efforts are made in vain and depend upon an unhealthy, legalistic spirit. All we truly need is Christ. That is it. Live faithfully according to this truth, and you’ll never go wrong.

Every individual is the product of his or her belief system and their behavior of the past. What is true of an individual is also true of a nation. If a nation's belief system and its behavior depart from the truth of the Word of God, that truth has become eroded. In 'How to Save a Nation,' Dr. Stanley uses Deuteronomy to illustrate what happens to a nation that has forsaken the Lord and challenges believers to active in prayer for our nation.

As long as a train stays on the track, it'll keep moving and eventually arrive at its destination. But if it runs out of rails or jumps off them, it becomes useless. The same can be said of believers. Our paths are composed of several basic principles, and if we faithfully put them into practice, we'll experience the blessings God has for those who stay on course. Are you on the right track?

We know the world is blind and deceived by the enemy. But Satan also strives to lead Christians astray through false doctrine and temptation. Just like Paul nearly 2,000 years ago, many pastors today long to see their congregations hold fast to the gospel and stand up to the enemy’s lies.

In this message, Dr. Stanley explains the role spiritual maturity and growth in Christ play in spreading the gospel. To grow in faith is to hear and apply the teaching and admonitions preached from the Word of God. This takes work that not everyone is willing to do. But when God's people commit themselves to His work—to the point of blood, sweat, and tears—then the body of Christ will move and reach the world for the kingdom of God.

In this message, Dr. Stanley examines King David’s life, delivering a sobering lesson about the consequences of our behavior. Just as it did for David, the principle of sowing and reaping still bears out in our lives today. Since God's ultimate goal is that we be conformed to the image of His Son Jesus, He will use even the most dire consequences to mold us into His likeness. Take care what you sow, but also trust God to use everything—even your failures—to reap a harvest of righteousness.
