Christ Above All

Our God is more than adequate to meet all of our needs, and yet we worry. Why? Either Jesus isn’t sufficient, or we don’t know Him well enough to trust Him. In this message, Dr. Stanley talks about the supremacy of Jesus Christ over all things. There is no one like Him, and all things submit to His sovereignty. There is no one more trustworthy. But the only creature on earth with the audacity to rebel against Him is the one to which He gave a free will—mankind.

Human beings like to know that what they possess is their own and that nothing can take those possessions away. This is why we have things like insurance and savings accounts and retirement programs. However, these solutions are temporary and uncertain. The market could crash or the boss could walk in and say, “We don't need you anymore.” The only security we have is in Christ and the eternal blessings He gives.
