Answered Prayer

In no uncertain terms does the Bible tell us to pray. And it’s with this same certainty that it tells us those prayers will be answered. The basis of all answered prayer is that God is a good Father who loves His children— not a reward we can earn, but the fruit of a relationship we were created to enjoy.

When difficult situations arise in our lives, God's commitment to us is very clear. His power will protect us through our faith. He is the reason to remain unwaveringly confident and bold. We can know for certain that both our salvation and our relationship with God are absolutely secure. Therefore, when questions arise, we have no need to fear trials or worry about what the future holds.

To remain balanced, we need to focus upon God and not ourselves. He knows our needs better than we do and promises to always meet them in good time. Based on God’s past performance, how can we not have confidence in Him to provide for us in the future? If we are doing what God wants us to do, we have no reason to be anxious about what's going on all about us.
