When it comes to the Subject of angels and demons, one of two things usually happens. There is an over occupation or and under occupation. The over occupation is always running in the realm of the fantastic (more of a discrediting annoyance), an under occupation can be spiritually fatal. It is because we are the object of God's favor and love that the devil focuses on us now.

We are driven by misconceptions that influence and control our thinking about God, ourselves and others. Satan, who is a liar by nature, has been lying to God's children about God since the Garden of Eden. Taking his accusations and distortions and mixing it with the Christian's own condemning heart, the believer finds himself believing things and thinking things that are not true. This is why the pure Gospel of Christ’s finished works needs to be a steady diet for the believer’s meditation.
