How many of us have God’s plan for us in a box? We map it out, determine the most efficient path – life is good. The problem is life doesn’t stop there. And we serve a God that changes our plans. I had my life all mapped out - but God had a different map. And God’s map is motivated by His love, plotted by His wisdom and implemented by His power. He knows exactly how to get the very best out of me. And that's the plan I want to follow.

The innermost person of who we are – the heart. the core, the “guts” – you might call the operating system. It is the driving force of our mind and emotions – the driving mechanism of our core issues. The flesh is our corrupt nature and it is still an operating system for many Christian’s lives. It wants to keep you in a box – keep you functioning the same way, relating to life the same way, and operating the same way. But put no confidence in your flesh -don’t give it that much attention.

"The Christian Faith turns its redemptive energy into transforming the individual unto perfection and into transforming the present world order into the Kingdom of God." (E. Stanley Jones) It is a life lived above the World and its evil system. The world has no power over me; I do not need its security, its values or its manmade religion. I do not need its "normal". It is a life not driven by the flesh with its needs and wants - insecurities and fears. With this said, the devil has no place of attack in me anymore. Take the world and my flesh away from the devil; he is not left with much to work with. This is a life of freedom and absolute victory. In losing our life, we find it!

The problems we face are created within the realm of bios life - a life created in time. We are subject to this world system and all of its wickedness. Bios Christians are at the mercy of the wounds that the world system and its inhabitants inflict upon us. And unfortunately as Christians we are more often than not bios driven. We live much of our lives the same way the world does - not necessarily sinfully or immorally - but we live a life that is controlled by, influenced by and dominated by our bios existence.
