"The Christian Faith turns its redemptive energy into transforming the individual unto perfection and into transforming the present world order into the Kingdom of God." (E. Stanley Jones) It is a life lived above the World and its evil system. The world has no power over me; I do not need its security, its values or its manmade religion. I do not need its "normal." It is a life not driven by the flesh with its needs and wants - insecurities and fears. With this said, the devil has no place of attack in me anymore. Take the world and my flesh away from the devil; he is not left with much to work with. This is a life of freedom and absolute victory. In losing our life, we find it!

The Cross needs to be the central theme of a Christian's life. It is our center point by which we need to endeavor to focus our thoughts, feelings and belief system. If the Cross is God's solution for every one of man's problems - and it is - how does it impact our lives?

One of the qualities of a remnant believer is ignoring satan's threats. They will not be intimidated. Ever hear the enemy's voice tell you your situation will never change - or YOU will never change? That voice can be intimidating - but the remnant believer doesn't listen - that believer never gives up.

The Gospel gives us lofty promises and a lofty position in Christ; we read of joy unspeakable, peace beyond understanding and a love beyond knowledge, but my life falls so short from that. I know what to do - but how do I do it?
