Every aspect of our life, every relationship in our life, must be run through Christ. The most challenging relationship we will ever face is often not marital or parental; it is our relationship with ourselves!

Declare war on pockets of law in your relationship with the God of all Grace. It is no longer what I haven't done, it is what Christ has done that I am part of.

Today most believers - though saved and kept by Grace - still live in at least internal legal premises, often performing outward acts gained at earning God's approval. We have been given the right of partaking in Christ's relationship with the Gospel.

Don't let your mind dwell in the dungeon of sin and death - your life is dead and hid with Christ in God.

Sin is the world's greatest enemy, the devil does not condemn anyone - sin does. It is our adversary that keeps us from a life of full expression in Christ. Understanding our relationship to sin is vital.

Yoke yourself with the greatest relationship in the universe, the Eternal Father and His Eternal Son. Yoke yourself to His love, peace, joy – to the mysteries of His character. Then this burden of an impossible relationship becomes light and easy. This is BIG NEWS!

Father has only one relationship of fellowship in the universe - it is with the Son! No one knows the Father like the Son, here is the big news …neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and He to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. Jesus can and will reveal the Father to anyone He wants!

I do not have to repair myself; I do not have to prove myself to man or God. Jesus Christ is my mediator, the author and finisher of my faith. I now live my life through Christ.

This Christian life can be such a mystery and paradox. I am a believer in all the Gospel promises - this grace message - yet I find myself living by the law in a moment, never really resting ins the scope of the Gospel that I proclaim. I must remember it is where I stand – never in what I do.

God changes stony hearts, melts souls of ice, and gives value to the worthless. It is a work in us! Who does the work? God does. Who produces a new character? God does!

This is often seen as the key verse in the entire epistle of Philippians. It addresses one of the greatest struggles that Christians face - our sanctification. Those with a pure heart, who deeply desire to honor God with their lives, will often battle greatly with the process.

About Tim Kelley

Tim Kelley, at the age of 18, surrendered his life and heart to Jesus Christ. After receiving his degree in Biblical Studies, he relocated to St. Petersburg, Florida. In July of 1989 he became the senior pastor of Grace Connection Church and launched a local radio broadcast called “Grace Thoughts”, a daily radio program broadcast in the Tampa Bay region http://wtis1110.com/ and is now heard at www.oneplace.com. Pastor Kelley is now in his 33th year in public ministry here in the Tampa Bay area. He is an avid sports fan of the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, and the Boston Celtics. As you may have guessed, our pastor grew up in New England in the Plymouth Mass. area. Pastor Kelley’s two greatest and heartfelt passions are teaching and preaching a clear gospel of God’s grace and its impact in our daily lives, as well as his love and compassion for people (even if they are not New England Fans).  Pastor Kelley has a Master’s Degree in Biblical Studies and is currently pursuing a second Masters in Counseling, graduating in May 2013.  He is happily married to his beautiful wife of 27 years, Peggy. They have one child at home, Sadie Lynne.  Their beautiful daughter Hannah Grace, in February 2012, went home to be with the Lord, due to a firearm mishap after a church service. Pastor Kelley and Peggy have started the Hannah Grace Foundation in memory of their daughter, which raises funds for the housing, care and education of children and young adults, here locally in the Tampa Bay region, throughout America as well as the third world.
