Often times in life, if not in most cases, we will face great failure - inexplicable failure that can haunt us. Maybe we have lived a life of folly, wasting our years in wantonness, making one bad decision after another, resulting in a life of shattered dreams and relationships in the present. Maybe you think your best years have passed you by. What more could God do with me? Well “It Ain't Over till it’s Over.”

Having a clear understanding of what grace means and what grace does might be the most life changing study for the Christian. There are those who are afraid of the word. They are afraid it will be abused, used as an excuse or a license to sin. They likely have never really embraced the magnitude of the word.

When you line up the greatest men of the Bible, on the shortest of lists you would find King David. 1 Kings 15:5 says "...because David did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD, and turned not aside from anything that he commanded him all the days of his life, save only in the matter of Uriah the Hittite." Great resume, one blemish, one costly blemish, how did a man who walked so close to God fail so flagrantly? Adversity had taught David self-restraint. Prosperity made him vulnerable.

Satan's greatest weapon is not the obvious. It is nothing you can look at and detect its evil origins. I believe his greatest weapon finds its effectiveness in its ability to go undetected. His greatest weapon is simply religion. Religion lulls you into a Spiritual coma and paralyzes you spiritually to a place you have not been moved by God in years, if ever - eventually darkening your heart to a point where Jesus could be knocking on your door and you wouldn't recognize him!
