Pastor Dr. Ward starts this sermon with a parable about a group of young people who spend their spring break in a luxurious mansion, provided freely and attended by servants named Grace and Peace. Every need is met—from food to entertainment and clothing—yet the guests never express gratitude or appreciation. When they leave, the gifts they received disappear, illustrating that blessings cannot remain with the ungrateful.

Dr. Ward shares that people, out of ungratefulness to God, have become detached from Him and each other, failing to acknowledge or appreciate the gifts God has freely given, such as sunshine, water, and eternal life through Jesus Christ. The sermon draws on biblical examples—Samson, the rich young ruler, and the prodigal son—to highlight the consequences of ungratefulness and warns us that ungratefulness towards the greatest gift ever given by God - Jesus, the Christ - will cause ungrateful men to forefeit their right to be saved from the wrath of God to come.
