Freedom-minded Americans, libertarians, and cowboys are looking for a little liberty out from under draconian controls out on the prairies. President Trump pardoned rancher, Dwight Hammond in the Oregon range scuffle. But, what’s the real problem? After spending time in a federal prison, Dwight figured out the problem was the godless schools. He wants prayer back in the public schools. How did America turned socialist and pro-homosexual? The separation of God from schools is the problem. But, will Christians join us as we insist on a Christian worldview undergirding every subject?

What are the greatest heroes in history, and what is it that constitutes one of God’s heroes? Sometimes the odds are so rough, one man stands virtually against the whole world. This we find with John Wycliff, Athanasius, and a few others. Kevin Swanson and Douglas Bond get pretty excited about some of history’s greatest heroes in this conversation.

Why can’t we find Jesus in Mr. Rogers’ neighborhood? And whatever happened to family and church? Why is the neighborhood and the community more important than the family and church? What’s the worldview children get out of Sesame Street and Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood? We also spend a few minutes on Fred Rogers’ deathbed confession.

The American Library Association is yanking Laura Ingalls Wilder’s award. . . for all the wrong reasons, of course. We discuss the sad feminist legacy of Laura Ingalls Wilder and Rose Wilder. We take a careful look at Little House on the Prairie, a piece of Americana. It’s hard to make a case for Laura or Pa’s racism. But, these days the noble savage myth is still gaining ground among the academics. Turns out, the noble savages were not as noble as they were made out to be. At the end of the day, everybody needs the Gospel. . .General Sheridan, Laura Ingalls Wilder, and the Native.

The birth rate is set to fall sub 1.0 in America, as the millennial generation earns less money and wants less kids. When women are faced with the question, “Would you rather have a career, or kids?” what would they say? Only 29% of moms with kids will stay home with them these days. But, they’re not having kids — due to child care costs, student loans, and the need for a whole lot of me-time. Harking back to 1 Timothy 5, what is it about not getting married. . . about not bearing children. . . about not guiding the house. . .that gives an occasion to the devil?

It was the most critical political moment in our generation. National Review calls it an “opportunity lost.” NBC News is thankful that the President went for a “full establishment” candidate. Perhaps Brett Kavanaugh is the only shot for Senate approval, but even that demonstrates the weakness of the pro-life cause on the national scene. Republicans just don’t have the principle to pull it off. We also interact with “Born Again” President Jimmy Carter’s Jesus who apparently likes homosexuality and abortion.

The top moral cess pools in the world are Ireland, Iceland, Belgium, and now, Colorado. This state is staging its first homosexual governor. America is moving towards extremes, as millennials embrace socialism and communism at high rates. America is developing an ideological rift that may not be repaired. But, what is the major objective the Christ is accomplishing through these various shakings of the world?

Christian adoption agencies are adopting to homosexuals now. And, Joel Houston of the Hillsong fame affirms the Big Bang and Survival of the Fittest Evolution. But, does it really matter? Are we making a mountain out of a molehill? At what point have we denied the epistemological and ethical authority of the King of Kings, and submitted to the false religion of man-worship and humanism?
