Forfeit the 501(c)3?
If a candidate for political office were to take a position in favor of infanticide or even killing 6,000,000 Jews, would it be appropriate for a pastor to encourage his parishioners not to support such a fellow? What if it meant the forfeiture of a 501(c)3 certification by the Internal Revenue Service?

Kevin Swanson takes a look at what the lawyers say about pastoral involvement in politics, and then, for what its worth, brings in what God thinks about it. While it is possible for the church to exceed its authority in relation to the state, this is hardly the case with most churches today.
