Do People Get Divorced in Your Church? A recent study finds that divorce is contagious. If your friends get divorced, your chances of getting divorced increase by 70%. In lieu of this, Kevin Swanson warns listeners not to attend a church where people get divorced. The practices of families in the church make the church, and the church make the families in the church. There is a body-part symbiosis in life that is practically inescapable.
