There are far more Americans who believe public schools are the worst form of education than believe home education is the worst form. Confidence in the schools is falling fast, and so is the funding. Half of Kansas City schools will be shuttered in the next few weeks. And now, Fox News commentator, Glenn Beck is calling for parents to "Get your kids out!"
But what about the goal of all educational endeavors – college? California public universities have increased fees by 3X since 1999, and now graduates are not getting jobs, per a recent WSJ article! If there was ever a time to think out of the box, THIS IS IT. Instead of graduating with $40,000 in college debts, what about studying 120 books and getting mentored into a line of business?
