World History from God’s Perspective Part 1

November 19, 2018

We are told in God’s Word in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world…” God’s masterplan has always included and involves the entire world. He has no favorites and will work with “whosoever will” believe in him and allow him to work in and through their lives. It is very important that we understand this to see where we stand and which is the direction in the world we want to go. Do we want to do things God’s way or our own way? It all depends on the results we hope to achieve.

"…. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world." (John 16:33). We mentioned in our previous program, and it is a fact, that no one is exempt indefinitely from conflicts coming to their lives, especially Christians who are in earnest with God. Attitude is everything and living knowing that God knows more than we do is where we start to overcome times of desperation.

When conflict arises in our lives, the Bible often comes alive with fresh meaning and power. We all have conflict with others because of our faith in the Almighty. Think of the family and friends that distanced themselves from you when you became a Christian. I do not know what you are going through right now, but I want to offer you these biblical verses to encourage your soul and remind your spirit who is taking care of you.

Because of sin, this earthly life became a harsh taskmaster to train and mold us back into the beautiful creatures we were created to be. But sin entered into the picture and now our earthly sojourning is very challenging. The sooner we acknowledge this from God’s perspective that this earthly journey is the cocoon of our metamorphosis process to transform us into the full potential. Even in the midst of a "cursed world" of pain and misery, God is the giver of life—and our sustainer.

“Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends…” (John 15:13). Veterans Day is a time for us to pay our respects to those who have served our country in the military. For one day, we stand united in respect for you, our veterans. It is an important day for showing appreciation to members of our military, past and present. Wars are awful, and the devastation is clearly seen. The greater the understanding of the Bible, the more the true foundation in this nation called America will be understood.

No matter how aggressively people attack the original foundation of the United States of America, they will never succeed to completely eradicate it. He who guards truth is always vigilant over it and sees to it that it always resurfaces. Our original American Dream of respecting God and applying His statutes in all aspects of personal, family, business and community living, for the most part, has been lost for a season of over one hundred years, but it has never completely died and is now resurfacing once again on the American scene.

Unbeknownst to many, American History has been rewritten since the latter part of the 19th Century. The change especially came early in the 20th Century when the public school textbooks were rewritten by John Dewey and Anton Makarenko who wanted to see an end to traditional learning in the United States. The war between Traditional vs. Progressive has been going on in America for a long time.

We all need to have assurance to be able to face each day with confidence and not despair or live in fear. Every election is important because it produces consequences for better or for worse. No election is inconsequential; this includes the mid-term elections, which are despised by millions. In every election, people vote for ideas and principles whether they understand this or not.

Ignorance has always killed people and nations. Ignorant people can be made to believe anything no matter how false, outlandish and absurd it may be. When presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders openly admitted to being, a “Democratic Socialist” we are now seeing more candidates openly declare themselves “Democratic Socialists” even though what they really want is plain socialism, yet they want to disguise it. Those who are advocating for socialism do not know or do not want to know the horrible history of socialism.

The Reformation brought newfound freedom to Northern Europe to pursue biblical knowledge and politics. But it came with a huge price tag. The Protestant Reformation came with a great price including persecutions that lasted decades. But the benefits were great and have lived down through half a millennium. Whenever the Word of God is honored it showers its blessing on those who apply it.

There are undeniable historical events that changed the course of humanity for better and for worse. One of those impacting events that improved the world was the 16th century Reformation. The Bible became the central focal point primarily to confront the corrupt Roman Catholic Church, and secondly, to apply it to all areas of politics and culture.

About The Future of America

We want to help restore America's original foundation in biblical Christian principles which made it the most powerful and prosperous nation in the world in a relatively short time but America has not reached it full potential. Ideas have consequences and they are passed on from generation to generation. To eradicate error, the moral and ethical principles of the Bible must be firmly established in the hearts and minds of each individual. If America is going to survive, its citizens must become re-acquainted with its history, heritage and biblical immovable principles and apply them once again to all areas of life. We hope this program will inspire and challenge you so together we can fulfill our responsibility before God and country to make the difference for our generation many generations to come.
