There are many dangers of having knowledge without wisdom. As a matter of fact, knowledge without wisdom is always destructive. Modern society has confused intellectualism with knowledge and wisdom. This is why modern society overemphasizes striving for a college education giving the impression that without a college degree a person is ill-prepared for life and a meaningful career. Wisdom is the right interpretation of facts and proper use of information.

Like never before, the world has access to an overwhelming amount of knowledge. Yet, the benefit is not transferring into our culture because there is little, or no wisdom being implemented. Let’s take a look and define what we are talking about when we emphasize Wisdom as something that should be coveted. Let’s set the foundation for the development of this topic and our understanding.

What does it mean to be morally consistent? Is it even possible since we all make mistakes? It’s not just doing good once in a while or a hit and miss attempt at doing the right thing. It is doing the right thing every single time, even if we do something wrong we know how to make it right. There are only two sources to draw the lines from God or man. We must make wise choices every day.

So, what is the truth? The truth is every person has a unique set of talents and abilities. There seems to be a big lie that gives a sense of entitlement that all people in the U.S. think they must arrive at material prosperity to become a true American. Becoming wealthy is the worst thing that can happen to some people because they won’t know how to handle it for their good. Joy and life are found in becoming the person God has created you to be.

It is sad, undeniable and a tragic truth that we have become a culture of lies. We are catching people in lies who deny the truth even when it is staring them in the face in politics, commerce, education, and science. It neither feels good to lie or to be lied to. It all boils down to whom do we hold ourselves accountable. Do we hold us accountable only to ourselves or do we hold ourselves accountable to God, who watches and knows our every thought, word and deed?

Right off the bat we can say that much of the uproar on many of the issues is based on a lot of mistruths and plain ignorance. A wrong narrative repeated time after time even by people with a big platform eventually leads to people believing it. Movements based on lies, myths and half-truths are more than dangerous, they are deadly! We are seeing it now, and we must correct course. Our country is worth the fight.

The eyes of the world are still on America, so this lawlessness even spilled over to other parts of the world. The definite lines of two forces of ideology have been drawn and are at war in America. We will have to decide which side we are on and willing to defend it.

When crowds get agitated without knowing what they are truly basing their protests on and don’t get organized they only vent pent-up grievances and emotions that solve nothing but do great harm. They also set a harmful precedent that may not be easily corrected. Things look bleak right now, but are we going to just sit by and watch our American civilization destroyed right before our eyes?

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house" (Matthew 5:14-16). As "light" we are to illuminate and make visible the goodness of God but also expose sin. Can you imagine the important commission we have in this world? The condition of the world reflects the state of the believers in Christ and the deficiency that is due to their non-compliance with the commission we have been given. We are losing by default! Let us rise above the fray to show the way back to healing, restoration, and true purpose of life.

We want to help restore America's original foundation in biblical Christian principles which made it the most powerful and prosperous nation in the world in a relatively short time but America has not reached it full potential. Ideas have consequences and they are passed on from generation to generation. To eradicate error, the moral and ethical principles of the Bible must be firmly established in the hearts and minds of each individual. If America is going to survive, its citizens must become re-acquainted with its history, heritage and biblical immovable principles and apply them once again to all areas of life. We hope this program will inspire and challenge you so together we can fulfill our responsibility before God and country to make the difference for our generation many generations to come.

About Nena Arias

Nena Arias

Is one of thirteen siblings; born, raised and educated in California. She was brought up in a Christian home, however her personal commitment to Christ happened at the age of seventeen which also included a simultaneous call to missionary work which she embraced with her whole heart. She answered this call and up until the present is actively involved in ministry alongside her husband, Ramon. Nena is an accomplished singer/minister and conference speaker. Her ministry for the last 40 years has taken her to several continents and nations such as, Mexico, Central and South America, Africa, Middle East, Europe, Canada and all across the continental United States and Hawaii.
