With that in mind, what is prayer? Why should it be an integral part of our daily life? Let us further explore this topic.

Where can we learn the principles of right and wrong behavior? This is the most important choice.

There are principles a civilization cannot live without; they are as important as air, food, water and shelter for human survival. Values are the concepts we embrace that define what is right and worthwhile in life. To have a good structure for living we need laws, rules and guidelines to follow.

Excessive self-love is known as narcissism.  It could be because a person's abilities are outstanding, or their appearance is very pleasant and it goes to their head. The same trajectory or process can be said of a nation. The fallen condition we are in has been slow but consistent. Yet, I believe that in spite of this long detour we still have an opportunity of a lifetime for a nation to turn itself around.

Every wrong deed demands justice. When this doesn’t happen, the heart is not at ease. When proper justice is applied, even difficult matters are resolved in hearts of all parties involved unless someone decides not to let it go and even though no further resolution is required, it will keep gnawing at a person inside. There is a right way and a wrong way to live life.

What are we to make of all the rhetoric, chatter, and accusations around the topic of guns in a free society these days? Those who don’t truly understand the problem or that want to rush to judgment or push an agenda to gain more control of us immediately call for gun control or confiscation. The underlying argument for gun control seems to be that the availability of guns causes crime but is that at the heart of it all?

The United States of America is coming up on its 245th birthday since the founding fathers sealed it with the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, but I like to count the birth of this country since the first Pilgrims set foot on this soil in November 1620. They arrived already with a plan and a formally redacted and signed constitution known as the Mayflower Compact. So where did we go in a different direction to cause us to be falling apart like we are today 400 years later? This is what we be exploring in today’s topic.

The first thing that we have to decide in our lives if we want God to show himself strong in us and through us is to live holy lives separate ourselves from known sin. We must be righteous and devout to God.  It should not be enough for us to just read about those mighty works of God in the Bible and how he used sometimes the most unlikely characters to work mighty things. We should hunger to see God manifest his power in our lives and in our generation.

As you see all the turmoil in the world like threats of disease, the dissatisfaction in people, the unrests and how those who can take advantage of others do so to the point of enslaving them, does all this create a hunger in you to want to make a difference? What is going on is of biblical proportions so overwhelming that it will take the God of biblical proportions to take action and intervene. We want to help restore America's original foundation in biblical Christian principles which made it the most powerful and prosperous nation in the world in a relatively short time but America has not reached it full potential. Ideas have consequences and they are passed on from generation to generation. To eradicate error, the moral and ethical principles of the Bible must be firmly established in the hearts and minds of each individual. If America is going to survive, its citizens must become re-acquainted with its history, heritage and biblical immovable principles and apply them once again to all areas of life. We hope this program will inspire and challenge you so together we can fulfill our responsibility before God and country to make the difference for our generation many generations to come.

Nena Arias

Is one of thirteen siblings; born, raised and educated in California. She was brought up in a Christian home, however her personal commitment to Christ happened at the age of seventeen which also included a simultaneous call to missionary work which she embraced with her whole heart. She answered this call and up until the present is actively involved in ministry alongside her husband, Ramon. Nena is an accomplished singer/minister and conference speaker. Her ministry for the last 40 years has taken her to several continents and nations such as, Mexico, Central and South America, Africa, Middle East, Europe, Canada and all across the continental United States and Hawaii.
