How would you answer someone who claims that if you continue to commit the same sin, you will not be forgiven? Can you help me understand Ephesians 4:7-11? I know we don’t have to ask for forgiveness, but I feel so distant from God when I don’t. Can you help?

What was the spiritual condition of Adam and Eve before they sinned? Should we admit our weaknesses? Does transparency help with temptation? If not, how can we do better in responding to the pull of sin?

Are we each born as sinners or do we become sinners? Why don’t saved couples have saved babies? What is dispensationalism? Are there flavors of it and is it true? I know you can’t lose your salvation, but can you give it up and walk away?

Are there two types of forgiveness- judicial and parental? Does Hebrews 10:26 teach that a Christian can lose their salvation? How should we respond to rejection when bringing up Christianity? Do you have to ask for forgiveness every time you sin? What is the difference between repentance and asking for forgiveness?

Why did Jesus say He did not come to destroy the Law but fulfill it? Why did Jesus tell people to ask for the Holy Spirit? Don’t Christians already have the Holy Spirit? I struggle with 40 years of difficult of challenging circumstances. I wonder why I don’t feel better now that I believe in God’s grace. Am I doing something wrong? Does John 6 support the idea of God’s individual selection of people for salvation? If not, what does it really mean?

The Law only breeds two things – defeat if you’re honest and hypocrisy if you’re not.In this tongue-in-cheek passage, Paul is calling all hypocrites to the carpet. Paul even goes as far to say that obedient Gentiles could rightfully judge disobedient Jews. Ouch. I’m sure that one ruffled some feathers!But Paul is simply trying to show that obedience to the Law is what really matters, and no one is able to be obedient to it.Once we’ve seen our inability, we can see Christ’s ability. Once we see our failure, we can see Christ’s success on Calvary. This is where Paul is leading us.So, buckle up for this blistering rebuke of hypocrites and the beautiful revelation that everything we need with God must be absolutely free!Discussion Questions for Romans 2:17-29:1. How is the heart different from the soul? Does either one need improvement over time to be acceptable to God? How do I talk to people about law and grace? What do Catholics believe about the Eucharist? Will there be another opportunity to believe after death or after “the rapture”?

Why does Paul quote from the Law about obeying your parents if we are under grace? If a Christian gets a divorce and then remarries, are they in a perpetual state of sin? Can they only get remarried when their ex-spouse dies or remarries? What’s the difference between Old Testament law and New Testament commands?
