When you become a believer in Christ it doesn’t take long to realize you’ve just entered into a fierce battle.  The enemy has his sights on you, but there’s also a battle within.  Something we refer to as the battle between the flesh and the Spirit.   But here’s the good news.  You can experience victory and we’ll explain how on Abounding Grace.  Through it all we’ll be reminded that God is faithful and utterly reliable!

Abraham, the Father of Faith and friend of God was far from perfect.  Today on Abounding Grace we’ll recall one of the lowest points of his life.  While Abraham would fall numerous times, God by His mercy and grace would pick him up and restore him.  Pastor Ed Taylor doesn’t want us to miss the application to our lives.

God is about to judge Sodom and Gomorrah in Genesis chapter nineteen.  Just before this occurred He mercifully told Lot and his family to leave and flee to the mountains and don’t look back. As you may know, his wife looked back and died as a result.  Pastor Ed observes a few lessons from Lot’s wife!

Today on Abounding Grace we’ll hear about the slow and determined drift toward sin that happened in Lot’s life, that would end up wrecking his life.  It was a series of rather small decisions, that would lead to big consequences later on down the road. Let’s make sure that doesn’t happen to us.

Pastor Ed Taylor is our Bible teacher, and once again today he’ll take us to the first book of the Bible, Genesis. In chapter nineteen, we see the slow and determined drift toward sin, and then the consequences of unrepentant sin, as Sodom and Gomorrah are destroyed.  Let’s see how this relates to the world as we know it, and our personal lives.

We all go through hard times and face challenges in life.  Sometimes it can be so overwhelming, we may wonder if it’s too big for God to handle. But today on Abounding Grace pastor Ed Taylor recalls the story of Abraham and Sarah in Genesis chapter eighteen.  In the midst of it all, the question is asked, “Is anything too hard for the Lord?”  The answer is No!  And maybe that’s something you need to be reminded of today, in light of the difficulty you’re facing.
