Grace is one of the most beautiful gifts that came through our Savior, Jesus Christ. Yet, it’s often misunderstood and difficult to explain. Before we can notice God’s abundant grace in our daily lives, we must first understand what it is.

Whatever the change you are currently encountering, know that with any change comes a death to the old. A way of life that you may have come to find great comfort in. There is no denying that death or loss of anything that has brought us joy can cause hurt, discomfort, and grief. I feel it. You can allow yourself to feel it, too.

Don't be discouraged if setting aside time for God seems overwhelming and impossible. Start praying about God opening up moments in your day for Him. Ask for creativity. This might even be listening to worship music in the car, devotionals, or podcasts that speak His truth. The important thing is making room for Him in places and spaces that your kids will see.
