Things will get better because God is in control. Even if you are having a hard time finding anything to be thankful for, you can be thankful for God. He is our Almighty, Wonderful God and He is also our dearly loved friend.

I pray you will open your eyes to God today while he holds your hand and heart through all the hard stuff surrounding you. Let’s choose thankfulness. It absolutely does help, dear friend.

Let us be people who seek God daily with our full hearts, no matter what is swirling around us.

They offer someone a glimpse of Jesus—a glimpse of true hope, a glimpse of everlasting life, and a moment to see that they have eternal value in the eyes of their Creator.

Seek solace in the good Lord and find unity through His strength.

 Growing up Southern means that taking a meal to others in need is as natural as breathing; it’s just something we do.

If you are hurting today, if you are grieving, sit with Jesus. Remember the sacrifice He made for you. Read Psalm 23 and allow the truth of who God is to penetrate your weary soul.
