Devotional Archives for Your Daily Prayer

Meet Him with the weight of your world, meet Him with the problems of your day, meet Him with the guilt you feel, meet Him with the dreams of your heart, meet Him with cries for your family. Meet Him, and He will meet you.

We need God’s Spirit alive and active more than anything else to journey well with our children.

Because Jesus shines, we have reason to get out of bed each morning, so we don’t have to look around for a bright spot somewhere else in the world to motivate us.

We may walk through the valley of the shadow of death, but we are fearless because a power greater than death walks with us.

God doesn’t want us to be our own worst enemy, nor does He want us to be our biggest critic. Instead, He wants us to have hope in Him that He will work in our lives to bring about our good.

Instead of dwelling on our perceived shortcomings, let’s fix our eyes on the One who formed us and find our worth in His unchanging love.

We should desire to be believers who are marked by the testimonies of God.

Prayer is rooted in love, so when we feel discouraged with our prayers, the task before us returns to the start of faith: our love for Jesus.

What might God want to help you release so you can see Him more?

Though my life has changed with a new hardship, God’s plans for me will not be thwarted.
