The ultimate protection promised is not necessarily found in avoidance of all the elements, events, suffering, and sorrow we fear in our uncertain future. The protection that we all need, now and in the face of the unknowns of the future, is found in the Lord’s promise to provide… absolutely all that we need.
Spring and new growth come straight from the heart of God. It was His idea because He is the maker of all new things!
Keep investing your time, attention, and resources in him as his holy word instructs. He will honor your obedience. He will strengthen and help you. Because he repeatedly promised he would and because he is always faithful.
Here’s the essential thing: regardless of what we find ourselves in—tests, temptations, or trials—the grace of Christ surrounds us, as does the power of the Holy Spirit. And so, no matter what, we can approach Jesus in confidence.
If you are feeling the tension of the “American dream,” or overwhelmed by a schedule that was made because “everyone else was doing it, “ or maybe in a stressful situation because you believe “it’s what you should do,” then perhaps its time to try softer, not harder in this season.
Denying that faith can be difficult undermines the truth of the incarnation, which affirms that Jesus understands our struggles and meets us in our suffering, offering His power and presence.
Instead of being guided by fear and others' opinions, we should let faith shape our decisions, boldly pursuing God's calling with confidence and humility.
When we face a season of depression we can find healing through therapy, faith, and healthy coping mechanisms. It's important to seek support and trust in God's love and promises during difficult times.
Who is your enemy? Is it someone who has rejected, betrayed, or deeply hurt you? Jesus calls us to love even that person.
