God’s Judgment Shows No Partiality

…indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek but glory, honor, and peace to everyone who works what is good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For there is no partiality with God.
Romans 2:8-11

God is not a respecter of persons. The Jews had the Law of God! I love the Jews, but how many of them will be separated from God for all eternity? They will perish in hell because they refused the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Remember when God delivered His people from Egypt? The Egyptians pursued them, but God protected them from the advancing army by a pillar of fire and cloud. Led by Moses, the people watched as God opened the Red Sea, so they could walk through the midst of the sea on dry ground (Exodus 14). In the Old Testament, God’s chosen people saw such great miracles; and yet a great many of them perished in the wilderness because of their unbelief and hardness of heart (Hebrews 3:16-19).

God set the standard by the Law of God for the Jew––they will be judged, but then also for the Gentile, the Greek, without the law. God brought a balance in His judgment. If there was a change of heart and attitude through repentance, then anyone can enjoy eternal life. Those who come to Jesus Christ will be judged––as not guilty! Yet if there is no repentance and a refusal to come to Christ for salvation, then a person, Jew or Gentile, will be judged accordingly. They will go into eternal damnation.

Seriously, whoever you are, no matter what nationality, God is going to judge. He judges the natives in the jungles of Brazil, those in Russia and in China, or wherever man lives. There is no partiality with God’s judgment. God will be fair.

There was nothing of any importance to me but holiness of heart and life and the conversion of the Indians to God.
