A Blessed People

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.
Ephesians 1:3 NIV

Once again, Paul, in the first three chapters of Ephesians, will give to us our position “in Christ.” Then in chapters 4-6, after knowing our position in Christ, he will teach us how we should be living as believers. We are saints in Christ Jesus––holy and blameless before God. He has given us His grace and peace. God surely is faithful to us as we serve and love Him.

A Christian declares Jesus to be their Lord. He is the supreme controller of their lives, and believers willingly submit their lives to Him. The name Jesus reflects His divine mission. Jesus is the Savior of the world! Understand, “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). Christ speaks of Jesus as the Messiah, the One who will come back to rule and reign for a thousand years in the Millennium Period––the Kingdom Age (Revelation 20:4-6).

As Christians, we already have so many benefits––all the spiritual blessings in the heavenly places––all because of what Christ has done for us. Do you realize how incredible these blessings are? In the Kingdom of God, you never have to feel like a low-class citizen––you are spiritually rich. Christians are the wealthiest people on the planet earth today!

If you are not a Christian, then you are outside of Christ. Consider eternity. Salvation comes through confession of sin and repentance–– asking Christ to come into your life. A person needs to become born again (John 3) and experience regeneration through the power of the Holy Spirit: ...according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior... (Titus 3:5-6).

Christianity is all about what Christ has done for us!

Learn to put your hand on all spiritual blessings in Christ and say, ‘Mine’.
