Have we not all one Father? Has not one God created us?

      (Malachi 2:10)

There’s a famous story of a philosopher giving a lecture about the universe. A woman in the audience stands up and says, “I already know how the universe is put together. The earth is on the back of an elephant that’s standing on the back of a turtle.” The philosopher replies, “But what’s the turtle standing on?” and the woman says, “It’s turtles all the way down.” The story of the turtle on the back of a turtle is important because atheists, cosmologists, and agnostics are like that woman, trying to arrive at ultimate explanations of things.
