So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall

not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it

shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

                                        (Isaiah 55:11)

After more than 20 years, Marianna Bentley and a nurse completed the translation of the New Testament into two dialects of the Tzeltals, a hostile southern Mexico tribe. Then a miracle took place: the 72 congregations of 6,000 they first established increased  to 322 with 40,000 Tzeltal believers. If they had left a physics text, a biography of a great man, or a folio of poetry, could any of these books have done what the Bible did for the Tzeltals? No, only the living, breathing Word of God can do that.
