Tuesday, November 24, 2009
Part 2
Two weeks ago Bethel University in St. Paul, MN had a symposium stating that there could possibly be common ground between the two faiths in the area of "meditation." But what kind of meditating do Buddhists do? A kind of blank-out-your-mind meditation that is not safe or spiritually healthy. Also promoted in the symposium was "Christian Zen." Is this what our Christian colleges are coming to? Jan Markell and a Twin Cities pastor attended the symposium and challenge the school on air.

Pastor Bob DeWaay returns to talk about an Emergent conference he attended. He describes total spiritual darkness. Why do people rush to the defense of Rob Bell, Brian McLaren, and others when they incriminate themselves with their own words? Why do once-solid evangelicals flee to jump on board this heretical movement?
