The Christians' Hour broadcast was first heard in 1943, and continues to feature outstanding Bible preaching. Ard Hoven of Cincinnati, OH., helped start the radio effort and for 44 years was its speaker. Next was LeRoy Lawson, Senior Minister of Central Christian Church, Mesa, AZ., followed in 1996, by Barry McCarty, today Senior Minister of Peachtree Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Atlanta, GA.

Two additional speakers are featured along with Barry on the weekly program. Bob Russell, for 40 years Senior Minister of Southeast Christian Church, Louisville, KY., one of America's largest churches, and Rick Atchley, Senior Minister of Richland Hills Church of Christ (non-instrumental) North Richland Hills, TX. The three alternate monthly. Since 1987, The Christians' Hour has been part of Gospel Broadcasting Ministries - which is a global effort to tell the world about Jesus Christ and to present "New Testament Christianity on the air."
